For those wondering.... . I’ve decided to set myself a #aselfieadaychallenge in order to keep myself accountable to be productive & at least get myself ready of a day in order to help with my mental health and general wellbeing, I ALWAYS feel better for it! I’m loving getting back into playing with makeup & using eyeshadows, lipsticks in shades I wouldn’t usually be brave enough to use. I’ve even taken to doing some light contouring etc Just. Because. I can 😝 . I have days, as I’m sure we all do when I don’t feel all that attractive, my hair won’t style the way I want it to or I’m having a ‘What’s even the point!’ day and again I just feel so much more confident with my face on. . Of course.. beauty isn’t all about makeup and everyone is beautiful in their own right but each to their own I say. If it makes you happy (whatever it may be not just makeup) and it isn’t hurting anyone then why the hell not!! . So yeah, you’ll be seeing a lot of selfies over the course of this lockdown & possibly thereafter. Not because I’m vain. Not because I’m insecure. Not because I have an ego the size of ‘James & the Giant Peach’ 🤣 but purely because I want to. It makes me happy. It keeps me productive. It sets the tone for the day. It helps me get motivated and I enjoy seeing the end result ☺️ . If you’ve nothing nice to say then move along the bus lol I’m not interested.
