Alright, this seems like a cool idea, so I'll throw a request in.

Uhhh this isn't going to be the most detailed thing on earth but I'll do my best. Definitely something wintery, snowy, etc. Each headmate (~50-60 if you include dormant headmates, ~20-30 if you dont) has their own house and it's sort of centered around a town square of sorts. Maybe a forest in there too? Give it a sort of fantasy vibe if you can.

[village name] is located on the side of mt. fimbul, a volcanic mountain whose eruption once cast the world into a endless winter- now, millions of years after the eruption, fimbul lays quiet, extinct beneath the village radiating powerful magical energy that the villagepeople have tapped into

since [village name] sits in the subalpine biome on the windward side of mt. fimbul it is very cold, and temperatures rarely rise above freezing- the ground is rocky and almost always frozen making agriculture and construction nearly impossible, due to this the village relies on foraging, animal husbandry, and wildlife harvesting for sustenance, shelter, and mystical remedies

surrounding [village name] is a sparse forest of twisted firs and pines, as well as perennial grasses, cushion plants, mosses, and lichens- magical wards have been placed around the town perimeter to keep predators such as wolves, bears, and big cats away from the villagefolk and livestock, as well as mysterious phenomena that come from the now empty caves where lava flowed within mt. fumbul

the buildings in the village have very thick thatched walls and roofs for insulation, and the interiors of each are relatively plain but have been equipped with a massive stone hearth and hearty wooden door- on each door detailed etchings have been made to describe the inhabitants identities, or the purpose of the establishment

in the center of [village name] sits the “den” or village square- illuminated by strings of handmade lanterns and adorned with colorful flags and banners residents regularly gather here to socialize with one another, celebrate holidays and achievements, and put on musical or theatrical performances; carved into the stone plaza are symbols and sayings that generate a magical aura in which encompasses the entire den and instantly boosts the mood of any individual who steps inside, in the center is a large fountain gushing crystal clear water- the fountain is supplied by the original spring vent the explorers who settled in this village found initially, before they constructed the vishas adjacent to the den

the “vishas” or vent house is a stone structure similar to a bathhouse or sauna- unlike the fountain, construction of the vent house involved digging deep into the earth to create a second artificial vent for spring water to emerge within the baths without being cooled by the surface’s frozen soil; the door to the vishas boasts a intricate waterfall design laden with volcanic gemstones- inside are baths bubbling with the hot spring water, which is poured over coals to fill the building with thick clouds of steam. hanging from the ceiling are bunches of treated dried herbs, which produce a lovely aroma and is said to have a relaxing effect- the spring water itself it said to have magical properties on its own, as it comes from deep below the surface where lakes and rivers of lava still flow
