I've been reading that Studio Bones takes some artistic liberties with how they style characters they animate versus how they appear in their respective mangas (Reigen from mp for example).I just finished Noragami and I loved loved loved it! but I'm afraid to start the manga because I'm afraid my precious Yato won't be "as pretty" as Bones made him in the show. I've seen only weird manga drawings of Yato. Please tell me he's not a stick figure I'll be heart broken LMAO (mostly joking)

Bones was actually quite faithful to the manga with Noragami, stylistically. Yato is very much still “as pretty” in the manga, if not “prettier”

But seriously, the side by side of the manga to the anime is almost spot on a lot of times (tho certain scenes have been changed). There’s plenty of side by side comparisons on google. Adachitoka are amazing artists and writers and you will not be disappointed in the manga AT ALL. If you’re familiar with the show, you’ll know that Yato is just a goofball who goes off model often for comedic effect, which he also does in the manga, so that’s probably the weird manga drawings you see. 

I can’t speak for MP100, I haven’t read or watched it and can’t really comment on that. Bones is a great animation studio and it sounds like they were just showing off with it, which…I mean, more power to them.
