"Fuckin' hang on!!"
Those three words echoed loud in the cold air admist the darkness below your figure, each passing second felt more like an anomaly than the present taking over it's future. A dark whirling pressure pulls you down more, a completely dark void which surrounded you fully, an emptiness that induced fear, unknowingness, it was uncanny.
Despite the dreading pull along your feet, the same body parts you hated for walking - it walked you to your worst and hated places, it held you up when you would much rather decompose in the filth of your bed, something clung onto your hand and held you up even when the only vision you see is a complete reflection of your thoughts, empty.
Sometimes, you hated touch - that was a lie, you hate touch. You hate it when you get a hug that held no value, you hate it when others send warmth to your body, your cold, without any second thought. However, the hand that held yours somehow felt like holding a mug of hot tea, like intaking hot soup relaxingly burning down your throat.
The warmth that held you was a boy, you noticed the ivory complexion laced upon his warm hands, a different feeling than when he was wearing cold, leather gloves. "Dude- you gotta be shittin' me.." a husky voice sighs from the other side, hands deeply clung onto your own in a gravitational pull.
"I'm okay with falling! Just let me go.." you mumble, now you wouldn't have to meet expectations, or feel the dread of waking up ij the morning. You watched as the ability you were trapped in completely used your greatest fear against you; the dark.
You weren't sure how you got into this situation, when you were younger - some people were gifted with special abilities that defy science, yours was no different; but instead of joining an organization to be against or with humanity, you lived your life as somebody normal would.
Only now, your ability got sold for a high price on the black market, not only do criminals desire your skill, but government workers too; strangers from fucking hell. You were taken into the backropes of the Port Mafia, reigning from Yokohama, Japan; the wish was to transport you back to Yokohama in one piece, fuifilled by a trusted mafioso, Nakahara Chuuya.
He was like any other boy your age, he was a nice guy, actually; just in the wrongest, most immoral line of work, at the ripe age of what, sixteen?
And to you, a normal student, the normalization of superpowers was pretty crazy. Nakahara Chuuya was a shithead that showed you of that, he was chill but aggressive, moral but immoral, small but incredibly strong?
"No way I'm lettin' ya go, you're fuckin' crazy!!" he shouts, pulling your limp body up from the void, you pensively look down at the endless pit, reminicing moments where you were at peace. "I'm not crazy, you are! And stop fucking swearing!!" you scream back, dangling yourself and grasping onto the leather sleeves of his jacket.
"You stop fuckin' swearing!"
"Nuh-uh!!"
A heavy silence filled the void, and the sudden tug from his hands. "The ability uses your darkest fear against you, why the hell did you willingly fall?!" the boy shouts back, a little crack in his voice emerged, causing you to lower your eyebrows in slight embarrassment. "Because why would I keep living and fufill expectations I never asked to recieve?!" you answer, eyes flitting to every corner possible in that dark void, a star, a light - no, only his hand. "You can't be serious - I get it! Life is a bitch, doesn't mean you hafta kill yourself!" he argues, pulling you upwards as you dangle your body weight down.
"I am not killing myself!" you hiss, listening as Chuuya retorts with a scoff. "Yeah, you just let yourself fuckin' fall." he chews on his bottom lip stressfully, "Think of all the amazing shit you can live for; dogs, puppies, smoking!!"
"Gross!! Don't you know how much damage that smoking causes your lungs?!" you shout back, the sleeve of your uniform cuffing onto your held up arm. "Fine - alcohol!" Chuuya clicks his tongue, trying to find out luxuries of life. "That's disgusting! The blurry lines between a social drinker and an alcoholic are extremely thin!" the boy tightens his grip in annoyance, "What the hell do ya even like?! Parties?"
"Parties are a mix of sweat and loud noises that give me migraines! Not everyone is a fuckin' gangster, y'know?" the redheaded boy sighs begrudgingly, attempting to pull you up. "..I don't know what girls like, clothes...?" you pause and rub your temple with your free hand, "Just let me go already! Nobody has it worse than me!"
"Fuuck!" Chuuya groans at your dismissal, "I'll tell ya what I'm living for - I saw weird shit until I woke up in the real world when I was like 8?! Now there's a God living inside me!!" you grew silent, ".. I'm not your therapist!" you stammer, causing the boy to hiss. "[Y/N]! Let me help you so I can find out about the past I've never had." you bit your lip torn, hearing as the void went silent.
From the minimal interactions you shared with the ginger, his actions always seemed barricaded, as if he were put behind glass his whole life. And from his story, it seemed pretty right. He's far too loyal with that mafia, and blames himself for the short coming of his old organization. 'Nobody has it worse than me!' rung through your mind, god, how you internally facepalmed. You hated being touched, but you were sort of touched; and as selfish as you were, or are, you had to dress another morning successfully waking up.
"..Or else Ima call the God - O' grantors, of dark dispa-"
"Fuck! You can help me, alright?!"

How the chainsaw man girls handle jealousy
A/n:I usually don't write for the csm 2 girls but let me know if you want me to and I'll add them to the masterlist (mainly cause I really like fami)
Makima
Tumblr media
Thanks to you, makima, now could finally feel true emotions. You made her feel the happiness of being truly loved, the sadness of being without you, anger when a devil had the gall to hurt you, and the worry of when you came injured from a mission and so on..
She felt another one of those emotions when she saw you talking to another girl at the public safety headquarters, a particularly flirty one who apparently didn't know you were dating her boss.
Ah this must be jealousy.
She wasn't that bothered by it. She knows she can trust that you'll never leave her. However, the moment she starts touching you even after you clearly rejected her and is making you feel uncomfortable, that girl is dead.
She might have better morals after meeting you but she's not above killing who she deems as human scum.
But if things don't reach that stage, the girl might just be assigned a particularly difficult mission as her next
"Sorry, but I have a girlfriend,"
"Who cares? It's not like she's gonna know anyway"
"Sorry to interrupt, but I'd like to talk to y/n"
"Ah! M-miss makima!"
"Oh sure babe"
"B-babe? You mean she's your girlfriend"
"Exactly, and now that you know I suggest not looking forward to your next mission"
Power
Tumblr media
The moment she sees you talking to another girl, she gets mad, she assumes you're cheating on her cause she doesn't have that much of an understanding of relationships.
In her eyes, you don't need anyone else when she's clearly the best option.
She's also really angry towards the girl. How dare she try to steal what's hers? Even though she wasn't flirting with you
"Hey! Y/n! What are you doing talking to this human"
"Oh power, don't worry she was just asking me directions"
"Like I believe that! You better go away this very moment I'll kill you!"
"Power be nice"
"Only if you stop talking to this bitch"
"*sigh* I'm so sorry"
Himeno
Tumblr media
How she reacts depends on how drunk she is.
She gets really clingy when she is drunk, so she'll hug you from behind and lazily try to pull you away from the girl you were talking to while mumbling some incoherent words and that's usually your sign to take her home.
She's really not that jealous when sober, even when a girl flirts, she doesn't get mad, she understands her, after all if she didn't flirt with you she wouldn't have gotten with her amazing partner.
"Hey, you having fun without me over here?
"Oh sorry hime,I was just about to tell her I have a girlfriend"
"Oh you do? Sorry I had no idea"
"It's fine. I get it they're so stunning anyone would try to get with them"
"Did you just use the fact that a girl was flirting with me as a way to flirt with me?
"Guess so, I guess complimenting you is just second nature to me"
Kobeni higashiyama
Tumblr media
This poor nervous wreck of a girl.
Whenever she sees you talking to another girl, she kinda gets anxious and starts comparing herself to that girl. Imagine how it is when a girl actually flirts with you
She starts overthinking and sweating, thoughts that you're gonna leave her for the other girl and how she's a bad girlfriend her fill her head.
She'd rather self combust than try to confront the girl with you around so she'll just continue wallowing in self-pity until you finish.
She needs a lot of hugs and reassurances later to calm down
"Hey, are you OK, kobeni? You were sweating and shaking"
"O-oh n-o i'm ok, what about t-that girl you were talking to?"
"I told her I had a girlfriend and she left, don't worry, more importantly, let's continue out date"
"R-really?"
"Of course you're my girlfriend right? I'd much rather hang out with you than some random girl"
"Uhm t-thank you"
Asa mitaka
Tumblr media
She is also kind of anxious and worried just way less than kobeni.
She feels kind of like a bad and boring girlfriend often, and that feeling skyrockets when a girl flits with you.
She trusts you, but seeing you so close to that girl while she blatantly flirts with you just makes her feel kinda angry at her, and yoru definitely tries to take advantage of that.
"Come on don't you wanna get rid of her anyway"
"Not in that way yoru!"
"Just turn her into a weapon, that way I get a new one to fight chainsaw man, and you get to take care of that bitch"
"I'm not gonna do that"
"Geez you really are a bad girlfriend then"
"I'M NOT A BAD GIRLFRIEND"
"........"
"D-did I say that out loud?"
"Yeah but don't worry at least it was the truth"
Yoru
Tumblr media
You and yoru begged asa to let her take control of her body for just an entire date. After a lot of hesitancy, she accepted but made yoru promise not to kill anyone........ You should probably think twice before trusting the war devil
The moment she saw another girl even look at you with a flirty gaze, immediately she turned her into a weapon without any hesitation.
You weren't that shocked, dating yoru does come with a very high chance of her trying to murder people she even thinks are trying to steal you, you were kinda mad at her for what she promised asa though.
"*sighs* why did you do that?"
"You're mine she was trying to take you from me. I could feel it"
"And how are you gonna explain it to asa?"
"Well it's not my problem"
"What?"
Then she feel unconscious the scars from her face disappeared and asa woke up looked at the weapon in her hand and then at you
"I'm so sorry asa I swear I can explain"
Fami
Tumblr media
She was just coming back to your table with your fast food orders (she got way too much food for herself). When she saw you talking to a girl, she didn't recognize
She didn't think much about it maybe you were just talking to a friend. So she ignored the kinda weird feeling in her chest by doing her favorite thing (tied with spending time with you) eating.
The girl, meanwhile, was very freaked out that a random girl was staring at her with a cold glare and ringed eyes so she left allowing you to go back to your girlfriend.
"Hey fami, sorry if It took me long"
"It's fine, who was that girl you were with?
"I don't know she just came up to me and started flirting"
"I see"
"Why? Are you jealous"
"No I am not"
"Alright whatever you say, you did eat faster than usual though and that's saying something"
"*sighs* Humans are truly weird creatures"

can we get a yoru x f/non-binary reader which doesn't end with the reader getting turned into a weapon (also with a little asa sprinkled in)
Love Yoru and Asa, but I dunno how much romance is actually in this thing. It's pretty long compared to my usual word count, so I don't know how spread out it could be or if things are rushed.
Anyway...
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Conflict of Interests ˖ ࣪⊹
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Love Asa and Yoru and imo both need more love, but specifically Yoru.
➸ Yoru + !Neutral!Reader, Asa + !Neutral!Reader
➸ Word count; 3849 words,
➸ Warnings for gore, because this is CSM and it's Yoru. No spoilers (that I know of)
➸ Aside from the gore, I don't believe there are any other content warnings either. Don't know how well this flows because none of my work is beta read and I was also losing motivation by the end of this because I cranked this out in about two or three hours.
All things considered, you were adapting to your new life in Japan pretty well. At least, it felt like it.
Communication wasn't an issue, which was a relief - Neither was money, but your biggest problem so far was being directionally challenged. It complicated your routine to the utmost degree, and what was supposed to be a simple shopping trip had taken more than three hours because somewhere along the way you'd taken a wrong turn. Which was why, in your current moment, you were wandering aimlessly around the backstreets of Kyoto, meandering closely to the nearby high school. Silent as it was at the current hour, it still felt weird knowing that if you never left home, you'd probably be stuck in a building like that for hours on end.
You weren't though, and you were also lost. Which seriously wasn't fun, especially when you had a younger brother at home left unsupervised.
What was even less fun, though, (besides the thought of a rouge twelve-year-old boy) was the lack of people around you. Sure it was late, school was finished and the teenagers had cleared the food stalls and vendors and had already gone home, but it wasn't late enough that people would be tucking up in their homes already. The sun was still peaked beyond the horizon, casting pale light amok the city - The streetlights weren't even on yet, and yet the roads were emptier than a bucket with a hole in the bottom.
You weren't sure if that should make you feel relieved, or even more anxious than you already were.
Your first thought was a devil attack. They were common enough, and although the living embodiments of fear preferred more public areas (more fear to feed on, you assumed?) that didn't mean the weaker devils didn't slink around alleys like shifty cats when the darkness fell. And it was that thought exactly that kept you from calling out for help.
It was certainly a nerve-wracking thought, that was for sure, and a part of your new life that you weren't ever sure you were going to get used to. At least back home, devil attacks weren't nearly as common as they were 'round the streets of Kyoto. Sure, you'd go through attack drills like any other school, but luckily for you, you'd never had the misfortune of meeting one face-to-face on the streets. You couldn't even imagine the pure terror you might feel in that scenario - The pungent fear, the visceral pounding of your heart in your ears, the fight-or-flight instinct failing to kick in, maybe even the sickening, cloying stench of iron blood swarming your nose-
Huh. That wasn't good.
That sickly sweet, cloying iron scent of blood was swarming your nose.
You froze, rounding the corner, feet rooted to the ground. You almost flinched at the wet squelch that met your shoe instead of the steady tap against worn, greening concrete. Didn't have to look down to know that pools of blood were lapping seamlessly on your brand-new shoes. You didn't know what made you wince more, the price of the now ruined shoes, or the feeling of pungent fear that struck you at the unsightly view of bulging intestines flung around the wider street in front of you.
Gross - Disgusting. There was no immediate threat, you deduced after a second or two of not being attacked. No, the devil that made this mess (inadvertently or otherwise) was sprawled in the middle of the street, gangly, twisted, fuzzy and bulbous body blocking the road like the world's most horrific barricade. It wasn't moving, fur clogged with blood and flesh and guts only wavered with the faint breeze, but its sides didn't heave like it was breathing, although you weren't entirely certain that devils had to breathe. 'It could still be a trap' Was the thought that bullied its way to the forefront of your mind, and yet you still couldn't find it in yourself to move.
For the first time in what had to be a good long while since you'd left the store, you saw someone else. At first, your heart froze as the bee-like body of the devil shuddered and shook - It rolled onto its side, spilling more of its entrails onto the path. They slithered up to you sluggishly, like a trash heap toppling over, but the insectile face filled with jagged and snaggled teeth was blank as ever. There was no life behind those eyes, but you were more focused on the girl who'd effortlessly posed herself atop the body of the beast.
She wore a school uniform, you noticed, paired with an otherworldly cutlass held firmly in her right hand. The world around the two of you was eerily silent, ear-splitting and ringing in your mind. You clutched your bags a little tighter, the plastic crinkling, rustling ever so slightly in your fist.
The hunter whipped around to face you - She couldn't have been much older than you, but her darker hair framed her face fiercely, fire-ringed eyes glaring you down with such hostility that it almost gave you whiplash. She didn't budge from her spot, but her shoulders drew up tightly as she held her weapon in front of her defensively.
You just blinked - The smell of blood wasn't as pungent as when it first hit you, settling over you like a blanket. You just lifted your shirt, covering your nose as you waved the brooding, mysterious and most likely murderous stranger over to you. From where you stood, you could see the way she froze, face twisting from a scowl into confusion, before the crisscrossing scars on her face literally melted into her own skin, leaving her in perfect condition.
The sword clattered mutely against what looked like a misshapen lung, and the girl set her foot down firmly against the joint of a broken leg. It gave out immediately, and you could only watch as she yelped and tumbled haphazardly from the corpse into a pool of blood. The aura she'd been carrying up until that moment disappeared the second she looked up at you again. Her eyes no longer glowed like red-hot embers, mellow brown eyes looking nothing but defeated.
She shook herself once and heaved herself to her feet, shuffling over to your relatively clear patch on the fringe of carnage.
"Hello?" Her voice cracked awkwardly. You couldn't help but purse your lips sympathetically.
"Hey," You began, reaching into your pocket. Just your luck that you had a clean packet of tissues packed. "I was just wondering how to get back to the main road. I'm new to the area, and I'm kinda lost."
You offered her the tissues, and it looked like she was about ready to cry at the gesture.
"Oh, uh, sure. I could walk you," She froze, dabbing the blood from her cheek, "-only cause I also need to walk that way," Her face pulled into a grimace, and she subtly flinched as if someone was poking fun at her. She opened her mouth a few times, gaping like a fish before her face flushed red. Without another word, she hurried around the corner you'd just rounded, and you just followed without another word.
She didn't talk, never glanced in your direction to see if you were following her. You didn't mind, though, because you were just happy to see life slowly returning around you - Moreso the sounds of traffic and chatter and city ambience that you'd slowly lost over the past few hours. The joy of finally returning to a place you could somewhat navigate diverged your attention, so by the time you turned to at least thank your guide, she was already long gone.
It wasn't really your problem if she didn't want to stick around. What was your problem was the little brother you'd left at home by himself. You hoped that the apartment was still in one piece by the time you'd made it back.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You finally visited the school. It certainly looked different teeming with student pushing and shoving their way to freedom. It also felt a lot different, seeing people your age running around in uniforms, talking to friends and passing by you without a second look. The uniforms, in particular, gave you a pause - They itched your brain in the most peculiar way until you remembered why. The same girl you'd met about a week ago, the one who'd slain the bee-like devil, had worn the very same uniform. Albeit, hers was doused in blood and cuts, it was no doubt the very same one.
That was a thought for later. You tapped your foot impatiently against the ground, waiting for your brother to finally make an appearance. You supposed his tardiness was payback for the time you got lost and spent hours wandering the backstreets of Kyoto, but you couldn't help but feel impatient.
He appeared a second later, thankfully, surrounded by a group of kids his age. It was nice to see him fitting in, especially after he'd only been going to his new school for about a week, although you had to admit it was funny seeing him freeze as soon as he saw you waiting at the front gate.
"Why are you here?" He scampered away from his group, looking more nervous than annoyed. You fixed him with a perpetually bored look.
"I came here to walk you home, idiot, why else? For shits and grins?" You quirked an eyebrow. He sighed and sagged his shoulders.
"But… I was gonna hang out with my new friends…" You gasped dramatically.
"And you were gonna make me walk home all by myself?" Your brother cringed. You felt nothing but satisfaction. With a sigh, you pat him on the shoulder.
"Just be back in time for dinner," You paused and set him with a stern expression. "And steer clear of devils, alright? I want you back in one piece."
He only gave you a big smile and a rushed thanks before running off, quickly rejoining his group. You shook your head and stretched your arms, noticing how quickly the crowds around you had thinned out around you.
"Oh, it's you again," You turned on your heel, coming face to face with the same, sharp-eyed dark-haired girl you'd briefly met a few weeks ago. Her face was riddled with scars again, clean cut, rough against her pale skin. You furrowed your brow, wondering if your memory was playing tricks on you.
"It's me? You were the girl who killed the devil, right?" You just had to make sure. She puffed up, eyes practically glowing orange and she fixed you with a pompous look.
"That's me. I'm an expert with any sort've melee weapon," She waved her hand as if shooing away an annoying insect from her ear. "But that's not why I came over here," Her eyes gleamed, "I was just wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me, y'know, have a walk around?"
You did a double-take.
The idea sounded nice, making a new friend, and there was a regular food vendor that you'd been meaning to try recently. But the idea of going with a stranger you'd really only just met set of alarms in your brain.
'However…' She was admittedly pretty. Those bright eyes that seemed to peer into your soul, a sharp, clean smile with long dark hair. 'Plus, it'll be in public, right? Plenty of other students and people around.'
"Yeah, sure, I have time," You missed the way her smile grew ever so slightly, stretching just further than a human could naturally.
However odd the situation was, you couldn't deny it was nice to finally have someone other than your brother to talk to. Admittedly, it was also odd how her bravado slipped the minute you turned to walk into the city, but you also found the marine life facts she sputtered out like she'd rehearsed were entertaining. She just seemed happy that you didn't seem bored out of your mind.
Asa Mitaka, you learned her name was. Wasn't usually one to talk to people, and she said it was a miracle she was able to muster up the courage to talk to you in the first place. She pointedly refused to make eye contact most of the time, which was fine in your opinion since at least the conversation was kept in a lively ebb and flow you weren't entirely used to.
She talked with an edge to her voice, not an annoyed one, but rather a nervous one. You didn't really want to ask about it, seeing as you used to do something similar when you were younger, however, Asa beat you to the punch.
"I don't have many friends - I had one before, but, well, she died in a devil attack not too long ago," She peered through a window store, just looking at the array of shoes that were for sale. "I mean, I haven't had many friends at all. Just the one." You stepped up next to her, but she just peered sadly beyond the glass.
Brown eyes. You squinted. Perhaps the light turned them orange. You once knew someone whose hazel eyes turned yellow under the light. Orange wasn't too far from brown.
"Maybe we can be friends," You asked, almost absentmindedly. Asa whipped around to stare at you, her mouth hanging open. Her eyes flickered back and forth - From your face, to behind you, maybe. She worried her bottom lip between her teeth nervously and didn't say anything.
That made your heart twist a little. Ouch.
Taking a break from the sun, the two of you were stopped at a vending machine under shade, grabbing a few drinks. It was mostly quiet aside from the sound of the machine working, clanging softly as coins were inserted. You were leaning against a wall when a little thing approached you out of the corner of your eye.
"Aw, cute. Kitty cat," You kneeled and reached out your hand, letting the feline sniff your fingers before it rubbed its head along your palm. Asa made a noise halfway between a choke and a squeak before shuffling a few paces backwards.
"Yeah, cute," She seemed preoccupied, whispering something urgently under her breath. Which was odd - You were going to ask if she was okay, but Asa was suddenly in your face before you could react, those same, orange-ringed eyes staring into your very being.
Orange. Not brown.
Preoccupied, a hot flush covered your face.
"Come with me. I wanna show you something cool," The bravado was back, oddly enough. No trace of the nervous high-schooler, but rather, the cool, confident and dangerous devil hunter you'd seen the first time you'd met eyes.
The change made you nervous, but also, you couldn't really say no to a pretty and confident girl asking you to come with her, especially when she'd been so heartening throughout your entire afternoon. She sealed the deal by taking your hand in hers, wrapping her lithe fingers confidently around your own in a way that made your heart thud errantly in your ribcage. Starved for human touch, you followed her as she tugged you along with enthusiasm.
It made butterflies tumble around in your chest, a sense of happiness and friendship you hadn't known in a while. It made you feel like a normal teen, running through the city with their friend, laughing happily together. You didn't have to care about making dinner, or phoning your parents in another country, or worrying about bills - You got to just run around without care plaguing your brain. You didn't care about the people you ran past, didn't even care as the streets thinned and people slowly appeared less and less around you. You didn't even realise that Asa had dragged you into something that was nothing less than an alley.
You only realised when she'd stopped laughing and was instead standing stock still between you and your freedom.
You also stopped laughing. Your heart dropped deep into your stomach.
"Ah, shit," You puffed, still catching your breath. "Well, I guess it was a dumb mistake to follow a stranger through the city." You tried to laugh away the atmosphere - You wanted to believe that you'd make it back home to see your family again, but somehow, seeing Asa's burning orange eyes made you doubt the chance that that would ever happen.
"Not surprised. Humans aren't the smartest," She offhandedly remarked, watching you like a dingo would watch a human baby. Although, no, that wasn't entirely right. There was a cold, analytical feeling behind it, not a sensation of hunger. But that word, the little indication - 'human.'
"You're a devil."
It was less a question and more of a statement. Asa smiled and cocked her head.
"A devil you couldn't even begin to fathom," Those same ringed eyes burned, pinning you to the wall. You furrowed your brow, gut-twisting and your neurotically swayed, judging how far you could possibly make it before she could close the distance.
"Lay it on me. I'm pretty smart," Were the dying words you chose to go with. However scary a devil she could be, Asa was also still in the body of a high-school girl. The sight wasn't particularly scary compared to the devils you'd seen in the past.
"You're bravado won't save. It certainly didn't save my host," Asa reached out her hand toward you, pinprick eyes staring you down with such complexity. The visage reminded you of an owl.
"I am not Asa," Asa began - "Asa is a part of me, and I am a part of her, yet, in the end, we are two different beings." You tilted your head.
"Then, who are you?" You shimmied against the wall, trying to perhaps slide your way to freedom.
Asa closed the distance instantly, digging her fingers into your scalp with such ferocity that you could feel it digging into bone with enough force to pin you to the spot, but not enough to shatter your skull instantly.
"I don't have a name, but I go by Yoru - The devil of war."
.
"(Name). Spinal cord sword."
You held your breath.
Nothing happened.
Yoru furrowed her brow.
"(Name). Spinal cord sword."
Her face morphed into a scowl, and then a snarl.
You gave her a look, one that asked 'what the hell are you doing' and you knew she knew exactly what you were thinking.
"What the fuck - Why isn't it working?" She let you go, shoving you painfully into the wall. You were dazed, now had a sore head and probably a minor concussion, but you were alive and your limbs weren't twisted into a gorey weapon. Your eyes focussed just in time to see Asa, or Yoru? Punch a hole in the nearby brick wall.
"It's because of you!" Yoru shouted at a patch of empty air. "You and your stupid human feelings and your pathetic nature to fall in love with someone who shows you a smidge of kindness and your stupid nature infecting my mind! Sharing a body with you has done nothing but hinder me!"
Yoru howled and whined like a toddler, bashing her fists against the same wall she'd punched a hole through, clutched her hair with her face screwed up into a childish scowl. She whipped around to stare in the vague direction she'd done so before, her scowl deepening with her teeth bared in a snarl.
"I AM NOT STUPID!" And with that, the anger was gone. The scars were gone, too. Her eyes were a rich shade of brown, deep, with flecks of gold and faint rings that seemed reminiscent of the war devil's own eyes. You had no idea if it was the influence of the devil herself, or if Asa's (?) eyes naturally looked like that.
An ear-splitting silence settled over the scene. Asa slumped against the wall, curled into the pit of carnage Yoru had carved with her bare fists. She just sat there, staring blankly ahead, eyes hooded and squinted as if someone was yelling at her. You were in a similar boat, head pounding, trickling of blood dribbling from your hairline, down your face and dripping onto the concrete below.
"So," You hummed. Asa flinched, but she didn't stop staring into the empty air ahead of her. "What the fuck was that all about?"
"That, uh, was Yoru." She didn't say anything else.
"And Yoru is the war devil?" Asa nodded.
"Mind explaining what's going on?" Asa finally pulled herself together, physically.
"It's a long story," She offered, trying to pull her hair into a pair of twintails.
"Well, I have to make dinner. Fancy staying over?" The words were out of your mouth before you could even think about them. Why you were inviting the war devil over for dinner, or at least the host of the war devil, you had no idea. But you just had one question you really, really had to ask.
"Hey, do you know why she's such a baby?"
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"I'm heading out, be back soon!" Your brother yelled into the apartment, shrugging on a jacket.
"Don't fill up on junk food and don't talk to any weird devils, 'kay?" You yelled back. Your brother paused and looked at you before nudging his head in the direction of the other room. You scoffed.
"You know damn well what I mean!" Your brother laughed and locked the door behind him as he left.
Yoru appeared in the doorway as he left, a loaf of bread tucked under one arm with a slice hanging from her mouth.
"Where's he going?" The devil sat next to you at the kotatsu, absentmindedly watching whatever was playing on the tv set.
"To hang out with friends. He probably won't be back later so don't eat all the goddamn soba this time," You pointed your pen in her direction. The devil didn't seem particularly threatened, so you made a mental note to put aside a bowl for your brother.
"Hey, Yoru? Quick question," The devil grunted. "When will I see Asa again? Not that I don't appreciate your…" You paused and looked her up and down "Wonderful companionship, it feels weird to only see one of my girlfriends on a near daily basis."
Yoru scoffed and shrugged.
"When Mitaka can take control of this body, she's more than welcome to hang out with you," Yoru took the piece of bread she'd been eating and pressed it against your lips. You quirked an eyebrow but took a bite of the offered piece of bread. You decidedly didn't comment on her eating it plain, as last time resulted in a forty-minute tantrum including someone called 'Fami'.
After a moment of silence, Yoru stopped and grinned sharply. The same smile she gave you back in that alley all those months ago.
"Are you bullying Asa-" Yoru reached forward and grabbed you by both your wrists "-again?"
"Yoru?" The war devil smirked like a bitch.
"Yeah?"
"You're doing this to tease Asa, aren't you?" Yoru only cackled.
"Perhaps."

Asa is crying and shaking at the end. She can't believe Yoru would do something like that in front of her.

How It Started W/ CSM Characters [Gender Neutral]
This is my first x reader fanfiction, so please give me plenty of criticism. You can also request certain scenarios. I hope you enjoy :) Makima:
Tumblr media
Makima is not a devil who cares for love. She finds the idea of love to be below her, a human concept that doesn’t concern her.
You two are coworkers at the Public Safety office in Tokyo. She’s a superior and you’re a new hire, ready to prove yourself
At first, she pays you no attention unless it’s to give you orders. Whatever kind of worker you are, lazy, hardworking, enthusiastic, etc., whatever it is, it slowly catches her attention.
At first, the idea of you becoming a lingering thought to her vexes her. She’s an important person who has to run a government organization, she has no reason to get interested in anyone, even in a platonic sense
But she can’t help it, something about you stays with her until the end of the day. This can’t persist, as she has plans for Chainsaw Man and the world. With all the devils of hell to deal with, one measly human can’t distract her
She “accidentally” let some devils loose in the Tokyo district and sent you and your team to go and fix the situation.
Despite all the odds stacked against you, you survive and this does it, Makima then can’t help but think of you CONSTANTLY.
Slowly but surely her schemes pivot from Chainsaw Man and eradicating devils to getting you to be just as infatuated with her as she is with you
Maybe she could make some use of you as well
Kobeni:
Tumblr media
Poor ‘Beni, there’s no way in hell that she has the confidence to ask you out. It’s all on you, champ
For Kobeni, you will definitely need to be coworkers for you two to become close. She has to work constantly in order to please her abusive family.
You guys are assigned to patrol the city on day and that is how you two meet.
During that patrol, you strike up conversations with Kobeni, who, despite her nervous appearance, cheerfully reciprocates.
You don’t mind her nervousness, in fact, you find it quite endearing, leading you to slowly fall for her
After that patrol, you two exchange contact information to stay in touch outside of work.
This is where she will progressively open up to you about her family problems and the difficulties that she has to go through and, to her surprise, you listen and try to help her on an emotional level
No one really cared about her emotionally so she didn’t know what to do, she felt a bit overwhelmed
You being there for her and being a genuinely kind person to her is what makes her slowly grow attached to you and what makes you fall for her even harder.
You ask her to go out to eat or to watch a movie. You stop short of calling it a “date” just in case
You both have a great time
She doesn’t admit it out loud, but she would definitely agree to a few more dates
Asa:
Tumblr media
You’re a student who transferred to Fourth East High School. You introduce yourself to the class.
Asa doesn’t think much of you at first, you’re just another student after all.
It isn’t until you are seated next to Asa that she finally pays you any attention
You start trying to talk to her outside of class to her initial displeasure, she’s an incredibly emotionally avoidant person.
This goes on for a little bit until the Bucky situation, Yoru taking over her body, and Asa losing her best friend Yuko.
After that, she starts to appreciate you coming up to her constantly.
These past two weeks have been miserable for her and you taking time out of your day to bug talk to her has cheered her up ever so slightly
Yoru wants to take advantage of this newfound friendship to make a powerful weapon to kill Chainsaw Man
Of course, Asa can’t let that happen, you are one of the only people talking to her at the moment and she can’t let you be taken away from her
This feeling of friendship slowly changes, she looks forward to school just at the thought of seeing you again
Asa decides that she must act and so she asks you out on a date and to her surprise, you agree!
Things are looking up for Asa! She has someone who she can be close with and maybe more than friends!
Maybe Yoru can leave this relationship alone, right?

Leaning against the edge of your office desk, your hand moved almost automatically over the medical reports of the last patients you treated that evening. Your eyes, tired but focused, occasionally drifted toward the small television in the corner. On the screen, a man with a deep voice recounted the latest news about the demon attacks that had occurred in recent days.
The sudden sound of the door opening startled you, making the pen in your hand draw an unintended line across one of the pages you were reviewing.
"You're still here," your colleague remarked, his figure silhouetted against the dim light of the hallway. There was a note of surprise in his tone, but also a hint of exhaustion. He leaned slightly against the doorframe before continuing. "Takahashi said you can head home now."
Without waiting for a response, he closed the door behind him, leaving you alone once again. You let out a long sigh, followed by a yawn that carried the accumulated weight of the day. Stretching your arms above your head, you eased some of the tension in your muscles and took a quick glance at the watch on your wrist. The hands showed 11:00 PM. It was time to call it a day.
With deliberate movements, you gathered your bag and keys, making sure to turn off the lights and leave everything in order. As you stepped outside the building, the cool, slightly damp night air greeted you. The city seemed quieter than usual, though the distant echo of sirens and the occasional murmurs of passersby were reminders that the nightlife never completely stopped.
Too tired to walk to the train station, you decided to call a taxi to get home. While waiting by the curb, your thoughts briefly returned to the words of the news anchor. The attacks seemed to be increasing in frequency, and although you didn’t show it, a latent unease stirred within you.
The taxi arrived within minutes. You stepped into the vehicle with measured steps and gave the driver your apartment address. From your spot by the window, you watched as the city lights slid across the glass, distorted by a thin layer of drizzle that had begun to fall. The streets, still damp from recent rain, reflected the glow of neon signs and streetlights, creating an urban landscape as melancholic as it was mesmerizing.
"Should I call Aki?" you wondered as you unlocked your phone and checked your message inbox. The empty screen greeted you with a familiar sense of void. "Maybe he forgot to let me know he got home. He’s probably exhausted," you thought, trying to soothe the faint pang of unease in your chest. You leaned your back fully against the leather seat, letting the gentle rumble of the moving vehicle ease your tension.
The ride was short. You thanked the taxi driver before stepping out, feeling the cool air and drizzle brush against your face. Digging through your bag, you found your keys and used them to unlock the building’s door. As you entered your apartment, silence enveloped you, broken only by the faint hum of appliances and the distant noise of the city.
You removed your shoes and placed them neatly by the entrance. Your eyes, adjusting to the dimness, scanned the familiar space. The small living room connected to the kitchen was dimly lit by the reflections from neighboring apartments. That soft light gave the space a strangely tranquil feeling, though not entirely welcoming.
As you turned toward the door, your eyes caught a detail you hadn’t noticed when you came in: Aki’s keys were hanging in their usual spot by the frame. A wave of relief washed over you. "He’s home," you thought, exhaling a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding.
You knew all too well how demanding Aki’s job was. As a demon hunter for Public Safety, his life was constantly at risk, facing creatures that defied human comprehension. But it wasn’t just his fight; as his partner, you shared the burden of uncertainty and the dangers that loomed over him daily. It wasn’t an easy role to take on, but you did it because, in the end, he was also fighting for a better future for both of you.
You crossed the living room with measured steps, the echo of your footsteps barely audible on the wooden floor. Reaching the hallway, you paused for a moment to consider your next move. "Maybe I should sleep in my old room tonight," you thought, remembering that Aki, after a long day of work, deserved to rest without interruptions.
With that thought in mind, you began to undress, setting aside your clothes from the day and staying in just a sleeveless shirt and your underwear. Opening the door to your old room, you were greeted by the slightly stale air, along with the familiarity of a space you had mostly abandoned since you and Aki started sharing more than just an apartment.
A soft smile formed on your lips as you let your gaze wander around the room. Memories of how your relationship began flooded your mind—a mix of sweetness and a certain ridiculousness that still managed to draw a quiet laugh from you. Before Aki became something more, he was just your roommate, and long before that, he was a patient who could barely bring himself to speak to you.
The first time you met him, you were still an intern with little time at the hospital. You had been assigned a simple case: a young man with a relatively minor abdominal injury, though still serious enough to warrant care. Reviewing his file, you discovered he was a Public Safety worker.
"Hello, Mr. Hayakawa," you greeted in a professional but kind tone as you pulled back the curtain separating his bed from the others.
The young man with black hair and blue eyes glanced up slightly, nodding without saying a word. His expression was marked by exhaustion and, perhaps, pain.
You approached carefully, holding his file in one hand and disposable gloves in the other.
"I’m going to check your wound. Would you mind reclining a bit more so I can get a better look?"
Without a word, Aki adjusted himself with deliberate movements, his rigid posture betraying a hint of discomfort. You tried to start some casual conversation while you worked—an attempt to distract him from the pain and create a more relaxed atmosphere—but he barely responded. It was clear he preferred silence, a barrier that, at the time, you assumed wouldn’tbe easy to break.
From that day on, Aki became a frequent patient during your shifts. He would return again and again, with minor injuries that any hunter with his experience could have handled at home. However, you never questioned him, and it certainly never bothered you. There was something about his visits—about that quiet connection between the two of you—that began to feel intentional. Over time, you realized you were complicit in that interest, faint at first but seemingly growing with each encounter.
One random Sunday night, you were sitting on the floor of your small apartment, surrounded by boxes of your belongings. You had made the difficult decision to move in order to cut expenses. Things weren’t going well at work; your salary barely covered your needs, as most of it went toward the medications and treatments for your parents, who had been struggling with health problems for months. The weight of responsibility was suffocating, and though you tried to keep your head high, it was clear you needed a change.
A colleague at the hospital had suggested the idea of finding a roommate. At first, you hesitated, but the logic behind the proposal was sound. With a job as demanding as yours, you barely spent time at home, so sharing a space with someone else didn’t seem like a burden. Splitting expenses would be a relief for your finances, allowing you to focus on your obligations without worrying so much about rent.
After days of searching, you found a promising ad: a small apartment, not too far from central Tokyo. The photos showed a clean, cozy place, ideal for someone with your lifestyle. The information about the person renting it was sparse, but you didn’t detect anything suspicious or alarming in their profile. You made the decision quickly, filled out the necessary forms, and scheduled a meeting with who would be your future roommate.
What you never imagined was that person would be Aki Hayakawa.
When you saw him for the first time at the apartment entrance, the surprise was evident on your face. Aki, with his serious demeanor and the reserved gaze you remembered so well from his visits to the hospital, stood in front of you with the apartment keys in his hand. He seemed equally startled upon recognizing you, though his expression remained stoic, as was typical for him.
“You?” you asked, unable to stop a small laugh from escaping your lips.
“I guess we’ll be roommates,” Aki replied in his usual tone, though a faint curve at the corner of his lips hinted at something resembling a smile.
That was the beginning of an unexpected coexistence. What started as a practical solution to your financial troubles soon became a complex relationship, filled with shared moments that brought you closer than you ever thought possible. Aki, the quiet and disciplined man you had first met as a patient, became a constant in your life, defying all your expectations and, before you realized it, becoming much more than just a roommate.
You shook your head lightly, trying to dispel the memories that, while beautiful, wrapped you in a warm sense of nostalgia. Two years together had left an indelible mark on your life, filled with moments of affection and complicity. However, now was not the time to get lost in those memories.
You walked toward your room but stopped abruptly when you stumbled upon a small pile of sheets and old clothes carelessly left on the floor, not far from your bed. You frowned, briefly assessing the mess, but decided to postpone dealing with the heap of textiles for another time. "Tomorrow," you thought with a tired sigh.
With a resigned gesture, you let your body sink into the mattress, old but still comfortable, that had endured more sleepless nights and wandering thoughts than you could count. The weight of the day began to fade away slowly as you closed your eyes, letting the silence of the night settle around you.
But tonight, exhaustion overcame even your most persistent thoughts. You allowed yourself to surrender to sleep, hoping that, upon waking, you would find Aki in the kitchen with a cup of coffee already prepared, as he always did whenever you came home late.
However, the morning brought a scene you hadn’t anticipated. The soft murmur of movement in the living room was what first caught your attention. Stepping out of your bedroom, your eyes landed on the sight of a young man, about 16 years old, sitting at the dining table. His relaxed and carefree demeanor contrasted with the chaos of snacks scattered across the table as he spread an absurd combination of every available jam onto a single slice of bread.
You blinked, confused, before noticing Aki standing in the kitchen with his back to you, inspecting something at the sink. You walked toward him quietly, placing a hand on his back to get his attention.
“Good morning,” you greeted softly, the affection in your voice unmistakable.
wasn’t going to be as simple as you had initially thought.
Denji continued eating without much concern, as if his presence in the apartment wasn’t particularly odd. You watched as he wiped the remnants of jam off his fingers, seemingly oblivious to the slight tension in the air. There was something behind his carefree attitude that didn’t quite add up, but you weren’t sure if you should press further.
Finally, after a few moments of awkward silence, you decided to steer the conversation into smoother waters.
"I'm Aki's girlfriend," you said softly, breaking the silence without wanting to come across as distant or uncomfortable. "Denji, tell me more about yourself," you added kindly, looking at the boy.
It wasn’t every day that a boy his age, seemingly without family, ended up in your home. And while it wasn’t in your nature to be overly curious, the situation was unusual. If he was going to live there, you at least wanted to understand a little more about his story.
Denji, unbothered, let out a sigh before responding in a somewhat monotone voice.
“Well, I’m Denji… I’m 16… and, uh, that’s pretty much it,” he said, as if there wasn’t anything else worth mentioning about his life. Seeing that you weren’t reacting much, he added, “Oh, wait. I work as a devil hunter, thanks to Miss Makima.” He returned to licking the jam off his fingers with the same nonchalance.
"That’s it..." you thought, unsure if he was being sincere or just uncomfortable talking about himself.
Standing up calmly, you walked over to Aki and placed a chaste kiss on his cheek. The small gesture, filled with affection, was enough to convey what you couldn’t put into words.
"I have to get to work," you said softly before heading toward the bathroom. The routine of the day quickly took hold of you, and as you got ready, your thoughts drifted. Denji’s presence in the apartment, under Aki’s watchful eye, left you with a faint unease, but you knew there wasn’t much you could do about it.
When you stepped out, the kitchen was filled with the comforting aroma of lunch that Aki was calmly preparing. Denji was still in the living room, engrossed in the letters of a newspaper. You watched him for a moment; he seemed like a child, despite everything surrounding his life. He murmured to himself as he pieced together the words on the page, completely absorbed in the task as if it were as ordinary as breakfast.
Before leaving, you walked over to Denji, offering a slight smile as you said goodbye.
"See you tonight. Bye, Denji," you said with a light smile.
Denji, without looking up from the paper, barely raised his hand in a distracted wave, his response as fleeting as his focus.
Aki, who was already near the door by then, picked up your keys and coat without a word. The gesture, though simple, spoke of his quiet concern for you.
“See you tonight,” he said softly, helping you into your coat and leaving a warm kiss on your lips—a kiss he always gave you, imbued with a tenderness that made you feel safe, as if nothing in the world could take you away from him.
“See you tonight,” you repeated, savoring his closeness for a moment longer. You hugged him briefly, pulling him toward you by his shirt, seeking that comforting connection. The feeling of having him so close calmed you, but before stepping away, you added in a softer tone, “Be kind.”
You looked at him, knowing exactly why you said it. Aki, while deeply loyal and protective, could be somewhat curt, especially with those he didn’t know well. You knew that with Denji, his attitude could be even colder, even if, at the end of the day, the boy was still just a child.
Aki furrowed his brow slightly at your words, but his expression softened almost instantly, a sign that he understood the concern hidden behind your suggestion.
“I will,” he replied, his eyes fixed on yours, though there was a hint of hesitation that quickly disappeared. Then, he leaned toward you once more, placing a final kiss on your forehead—a silent gesture of affection—before you walked out the door.

✦ MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
The walls were closing in on her, that’s what it felt like.
Her world went dark and all she could feel was her bones turn to ice. She couldn’t move. Her body betrayed her, doing things she would never dream of doing. Ever. One blink and she could see the horrid scene in front of her again.. And again.. And again. She could hear the screams resounding within her own mind, pleas to stop it from happening, from continuing. She felt violated. She felt guilty. She felt so utterly.. Alone.
Asa flinched when she felt your fingers tuck a few stray strands of her hair behind her ear. You caressed her cheek, holding her close to you as she rested her head on your chest. “You’re safe, you don’t need to worry,” you tried to soothe her worries with your soft words. But Asa was still shaken after the whole ordeal, after what Yoru did.
You didn’t expect to find Asa at your door during the wee hours of the morning, but when she showed up with tear stains on her cheeks and wore a terrified expression, you couldn’t just look away from it and turn your back on her. She was someone you were close with and if she needed you, you’d be there for her. You’d told her so after 3 years of the friendship. Asa awakened a passion in you that wasn’t inherently romantic, but it wasn’t strictly platonic either. Asa however, did not mind the emotional intimacy. She quite liked having someone to talk to, someone that made her feel seen.
For her, you were that ‘someone’.
Asa wouldn’t tell you what happened to her that would put her in such a panicked state, but that was fine with you. She would tell you on her own time, you were only glad that she came to you when she needed help. “I’m probably bothering you..” Asa spoke, her voice was drastically different from how it usually was. Her voice sounded worn and was awfully quiet — a stark difference to the calm tone you were used to.
“No, Asa,” You ran your fingers through her long black hair, lightly scratching her scalp in an attempt to comfort her, “I promise you’re not. I told you to come to me if you ever needed me, remember?” Asa only closed her eyes in response, sighing and nuzzling further into your shirt. You smiled warmly, content that she was feeling at least a little better from before. Asa didn’t say anything in response, but she didn’t need to. Her actions almost always spoke for her.
“.. I feel hurt because of..” Asa trailed off, not feeling quite ready to tell you what had happened between her and Denji. “-But I also feel.. Guilty for it..? Am I to blame..?” She seemed to be asking these questions to herself, but you couldn’t help your urge to chime in and tell her that whatever it was, she definitely hadn’t been the cause of it.
“You’re valid in feeling hurt.” Your words were soft. Asa only looked down at her lap. “Asa, I’ve known you since freshman year — you’re not the type of person to do things without reason. Whatever it was that you did, just know that I'd still support you no matter what.” Your words calmed Asa’s fears down. She was afraid of what Denji thought about her, now that Yoru had done what she did. She quite liked having Denji around her and after this, she wondered.. Would they ever be able to go back to how things once were? Surely not..
“I think I messed things up with him..” Asa muttered.
“The annoying blonde kid?” You looked down at her with a half smile.
“Denji.”
“Right, Denji..” You chuckled, “Look, Asa. I may not be a dating expert or whatever — But whatever happened between you two, I believe that you two should talk about it and try to understand one another.” You kept petting her hair, the black strands feeling soft and smooth in between your fingers. “Denji, from what you’ve told me, doesn’t seem like the type of guy to leave you just because you mess up once.”
“If you knew what I did, you wouldn’t be saying that..”
“Even if I did, people have the capacity to grow and learn from their mistakes. If you feel guilty then you probably didn’t mean to do what you did.” you reasoned.
“I really didn’t..” Asa’s eyes began to water up, flashbacks of the incident popping back up in her mind like film strips of an old movie.
“See?” You wiped the tears from her eyes. “You’re not a bad person, Asa.”
She only cried more once you said this, but you didn’t falter. You held her in your arms as if wishing to protect her from anything that could hurt her.
“You’ll be alright, Asa. Maybe not right now.. Maybe not tomorrow, But you’ll be alright. I’m with you, okay?” She looked up at you, tears staining her cheeks again for the nth time tonight. Her eyes seemed hopeless and distressed when she first came to you. But now.. Her eyes had a sliver of hope in them.
“..Okay.”

Gifting the chainsaw man girls a plushie of themselves
A/n: I'm still on vacation and wanted to do a smaller post while i'm free so i saw this prompt around and thought it was adorable, I'll probably do it with more fandoms let me know if you wanna see it
Makima
Thinks it's amazing and will treasure it forever, she specific keeps it on a shelf in her office (most of her subordinates are very confused to see it just sitting there around the paperwork)
She will 100% give you a plushie of yourself to repay you
Might ask you for a pochita plushie to replace the real one since she doesn't want it anymore.
"Oh, It's adorable darling you're so talented, how about I make you one of yourself to match?"
Power
She is confused at first and asks what power (lol) you used to make a mini her but quickly grows to love it.
It's soft and cuddly just like meowy whenever you're not near her you can bet she'll be cuddling those two things to fall asleep.
Definitely brags about it to denji and aki. Where are their small and fluffy versions of them uh?
"*gasp* is that an idol of the great power? Very well I will accept this. T-thank you"
Himeno
Thinks it's the cutest thing ever and immediately hugs you and peppers you In kisses as thanks
Will always keep it on her shoulder or in view in general hoping that someone asks her about it so she can start ranting about how wonderful her partner is
You have found her multiple times passed out drunk hugging the plushie and mumbling about how much she loves you
"Oh my God! Is that me? Thanks so much it's soooo cute, well not as cute as the original of course~"
Kobeni higashiyama
An incredibly blushy mess whenever you give her the plushie but thinks it's the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her.
It kinda becomes a comforter for her. Whenever she's more nervous or sad than usual, she hugs the plushie and thinks of you, and it makes her feel at least a bit better
She feels kinda bad about not giving you anything back so she'll probably save the small amount of money she has to buy you a plushie you like.
"O-oh, that's really cute. w-wait, is that m-me? I love it a lot. Thank you so so much"
Quanxi (and her harem)
You immediately got tackled in a hug by 4 of your girlfriends when you showed them plushies of every one of them, quanxi just looked at hers for a while before smiling and joining the group hug
Might genuinely stab someone if they say anything remotely negative about the plushie
She works hard with her girlfriends to make you a plushie of yourself since they thought it wasn't fair that you were the only one in the relationship without one.
"Eh, it really does look like me, you did an amazing job on the girls too, don't worry I'll keep it close at all times"
Asa mitaka
Genuinely can't fathom that you would put effort into making something so cute of her out of everyone and the fact that you gifted her that makes her fall in love with you even more
Always keeps it with her mostly in her bag at school, similarly to kobeni it helps calm her down whenever she's having a bad day, it's a reminder that there is someone willing to love her this much
Yoru once tried to draw the scars on it to make it a plushie of her (just to mess with asa) but thankfully she took control in time
"Wait, seriously? That's....for me? Wow, i- I don't know what to say. Just thank you so much"
Yoru
Acts like she doesn't care that much but actually thinks it's really cute, asa often wakes up finding herself hugging it, courtesy of yoru not being able to sleep without it and taking over during the night.
Definitely brags to asa about it (not realizing it's technically a plushie of both of them)
Might ask you to add some weapons to the plushie to make it more interesting
"Hm? What's that? a plushie? I guess it does kinda resemble me, thanks it is kinda nice"
Fami
She might seem as indifferent as usual but genuinely loves the gesture and thinks it's adorable
She brings it with her whenever she eats (which is most of the time) she even puts a little bib on it, it's really cute to watch
Feels really bad when she gets it dirty (mostly when she's eating) so she'll try cleaning it even if she has no idea how
"I see, so it's a plushie of me. How cute. Thank you, you did a great job"

Surpise kisses! - CSM characters (Makima, Kobeni, Power, Asa)
summary: giving your girlfriend some surprise kisses for whatever reason. Could be because they were being cute or maybe you just wanted to surprise the ones who normally aren't surprised by any of your antics!
a/n: haven't done one of these in a while, i miss doing these longer post. I just feel kinda burned out writing them lol gonna try to make more of these might use this same idea for a HSR version , also i hc Makima to be a little over 6 ft tall bc i love tall women and have a v serious problem called im short and tall women make me feel things
Makima
Makima is usually very aware of her surroundings. She's even more aware of you.
Maybe it's due to her being the control devil and her need to know she has control over things, but she doesn't tend to get surprised very easily. Catching someone like her off guard is tough, maybe even impossible.
But really late nights home from the office can leave her feeling fatigue, maybe even a bit vulnerable. But she's fine feeling vulnerable with it, makes her feel human.
Taking her coat off as a few of the dogs jump to get an ounce of attention from the woman, she doesn't notice that you had gotten so close to her.
Only noticing after she stands up from kneeling on the ground petting one of the smaller dogs, she meets your lips. It seems you had planned this out a bit, waiting until she stood up just often to meet you.
Her reaction wasn't quite as excepted, sure her eyes got a bit wider, but she didn't seem any more surprised than that.
Mostly flustered individuals on this list
She gives a smile before standing up all the way, she seems a little less tired than she looked when she first entered the apartment.
"That was a very pleasant surprise. I think more of those would be nice, you'd spare me a few more, right?"
Kobeni
She might actually pass out.
Kobeni enjoys kissing as much as any other flustered person, but surprise ones are definitely a one way ticket to be having a red face for the next couple of hours.
And surprise her with a good luck kisses on her way out to work was definitely not very helpful, now all she can think about it how soft your lips were. Now she has to deal with teasing from her coworkers.
Tries not to think about it, but she really wishes that she could get another one. Maybe you'll surprise her with one when she gets home or maybe she could surprise you with one of her own. Thinking about it just makes her face even redder.
"S..So not fair! I bet they're not even h.. half as red as i am! Just wait until I get home"
I don't think she even really notices? Power just thinks it's a regular kiss, maybe she jsut thinks all kisses are surprised kisses? Or maybe the surprise kisses were the friends we made along the way
Kobeni gets to shy to try to surprise you with a kiss so she just asks if she could get another kiss.
Power
In any case, Power loves getting kissed so she doesn't really mind. She's more likely to surprise you with kisses.
Her favorite way to surpise you with a kiss or two is to lay ontop of you until you wake up to which she'll start kissing anywhere and everywhere she can.
Sharing a juice box together didn't seem like too big of a deal. You had said you left your own drink at home and didn't want to buy one from the vending machine. It was sold out of your favorite drink, so as the kind girlfriend Asa was, she offered that you both share a drink.
A bit scary and a little bit painful as she has bitten you once or twice on accident. Possibly even scrapped you with her horns once or twice.
"HUH!? What do ya mean i can't wake you up like that anymore? You should be lucky that the almighty Power wakes you up like that... Biting you is just another form of a kisses, those bloodsucker bugs do it all the time!"
Asa Miktaka
Still sipping the juice box, Asa's faces turns a bit red. Asa takes the straw out of her mouth and puts her hand to her lips. She's a little embarrassed that she didn't think of it like that.
As you were both talking and taking sips from the juice box, you let out a small laugh as Asa took another. She shoots a questioning look to you and you share what you were giggling about.
"This kinda counts as our first kiss, y'know? Indirectly but still technically a kiss."
A bit more embarrassed that her first kiss wasn't even an actual kiss. She was even more flustered when you pulled her hand away and gave her the actual kiss she wanted.
"There, fixed it. I thought a real kiss would be better than having an indirect one.. Your face is a little too red, you okay Asa?"
