Anyways, this is an AU where Murdoc and 2D/Stuart are around the same age and go to the same school together as kids/teenagers. Stuart is a bit of a goody two shoes (well most of the time, as you can see in this image he's being naughty and smoking a cigarette) and is often picked on by kids at his school cause he's an easy target

Murdoc is also bullied by the same people who bully Stuart, but he's obviously not a goody two shoes. And while he doesn't downright bully Stuart like the other kids, he does insult him, but he also tries to 'take him under his wing' kind of and tries to show Stuart how to stand up for himself

And let me tell you, going to a british secondary school isn't easy, british teenagers are literally the worst things ever, if you are slightly "weird" (or in my case autistic) in a british secondary school get ready to be torn to shreds even if you did nothing wrong lmao. And I imagine it was even worse when Murdoc and 2D were kids/teens in the 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's

Maybe I will write some fan fiction about this AU after I finish releasing my Jeff The Killer fic (I encourage you to read it, the second chapter dropped just yesterday and the third is coming on Wednesday next week)

One morning 2-D, lead singer of Gorillaz, wakes up without a headache. This is so surprising to him that it instantly shakes him conscious, and leaves him staring wide eyed and fully alert at the ceiling. In gentle but overwhelming disbelief, he tries sitting up, thinking that something will change.

It doesn't. Nothing starts to throb behind his eyes. He blinks experimentally. Nothing happens. It's gone. The migraine, which usually requires reaching over to the bedside table for the pill bottle and another half hour of sleep to fix, is just gone.

In the gloom, he looks over to the bedside table, where the bottle usually stands.

It's not there either.

In short, 2-D has the best worst three days of his life.
