i sometimes wonder if the time bureau kept the whole beebo day thing going as a joke, because i mean, time emergencies don't stop for christmas, so those in the office over the holidays bought their childhood beebo dolls and put them on their desks and decorate them with flower crowns and little outfits, and someone makes a roast (the traditional beebo day food) and runs round to all the office so everyone gets a plate. in the remote outposts and saferooms across time, the phone keeps ringing as they all call to wish eachother a happy beebo day

Well I started playing it with my friend so I couldnt live blog the second round, and i may do that again this week cause im busy. but I can say;

I very much walked past E coli in the tv room cause ewww that guy and then reloaded my save when he disappeared hehe which maybe i shouldnt have done cause now i have to live with my friends deep toad voice for him

A chorus of gay at nina and mari and how, hear me out, she only said they didnt cheat cause Nina wouldnt do that but Mari… also we sure do just be standing there listening to their private conversation heh

Music related was there a very soft melody of heartache in the round 2 music cause we did take a break to listen to the song and then my friend pointed it out softly playing in the music

1962: Beebo Brinker by Ann Bannon

Although this is the last in the series (The Beebo Brinker Chronicles), it is set first — a prequel to the others. If you look up the Gold Medal Press cover of the book (the first print) and think the girl on the cover, supposedly Beebo herself, doesn't look how you image she would have - Ann Bannon explained in the 2001 edition foreword to Odd Girl Out, that it was because Gold Medal Press publishers had control over the cover art and the title. Although the series met mixed reviews at the time of publication, Bannon was praised for her construction of Beebo's character; intelligent, funny, vulnerable, all at once and she does not apologize for being who she is: a three-dimensional character who is a butch lesbian, when lesbians in literature were rarely mentioned (if only in pulp fiction), and butch ones only as one-dimensional villains.

Well, lads, lasses, and non-binary folk, it’s been one hell of a ride (literally 🤣). 

It seems like only yesterday that I raced home after school to watch the pilot of a new TV show, and I just fell in love. Legends has seen many incarnations over the years, but somewhere down the line it became a show that we all love. 

A place for the weirdos to congregate, something that made us feel loved and accepted no matter who we were. Legend’s door was always open for this chaotic little found family that got me through some of the worst times of my life. 

For every moment of acceptance, every character who was unapologetically themselves, for all the laughs, but most importantly thank you for the love we found along the way. 

Legends may be gone, but what it meant to us will live on. Thank you for the memories.

I don’t know why I was so worried about the new Legends. I’m actually crying right now because it was so amazing and beautiful and I’m so so happy to have my Legends family back and better than ever. They truly are the weird cousins of the Arrowverse, and I love them all the more for it. We’re in for a wild ride of a season folks, and I could not be more excited. Praise Beebo!
