#I have a half baked theory that this is the case bc the left is so obsessed with the ~aesthetic~ of revolution#that any actual revolutionary potential gets channeled towards keeping up appearances#whereas when median voters/libs/right wingers are pissed about something they actually DO something about it#as opposed to trying to fit it into the priors of a dubious 19th century political theory#politics#twitter
