there was a little teaser at the end that implied there'll be a sequel event, though we don't really know anything beyond that! I do think it's likely we'll get the other half of the cast in it, even if it's just wishful thinking on my part. 🤞🤞 NIGHTMARE SUITS FOR EVERYONE!!!!

Hello I have quick question since I saw a post of you played twst stitch event and recently the event came for English version and the mission list shows clear ex battles which make me confuse?
EX battles are extra battles that you can play after the event story for extra resources/rewards! (usually event shop currency and some of the event furniture-crafting items.) the missions for them are there from the start, but it can be kind of confusing because they aren't actually accessible or explained until later. :')
#twisted wonderland#lost in the book with stitch#joseimuke games are serious business#they're usually worth it (especially if you're after the event furniture)#but they can get surprisingly difficult real fast especially if you're a more casual player like me 💀#always a game of finding that sweet spot where i can not just win but win consistently

#marvel#marvel rivals#peter quill#star-lord#guardians of the galaxy#gotg#starlord#the background is a bit rushed but its like. 4am. looks away#maybe ill revisit to touch it up one day (lying)#designing outfits from scratch is. hard!#especially trying to stuff as many motifs/symbols/character references as possible#do all the colors and design elements mean things#yeah.. yea...... yeah.............. falls in a heap on the floor#reds/oranges/yellows/golds are autumn colors#chrysanthemum are also associated with autumn#autumn being the season the white tiger of the west represents#also liked picking red because it's a lucky color and also somewhat-ish (big stretch) to the ravager jacket#and yellow was originally a color worn by royalty#blue and orange are usually a pretty common color combo#but usually a bit more turqoise... went with a darker blue to invoke outer space a bit more#lots of stars :) he is the star lord#if i fooled a bit more with effects it would be cool to give him more of like#the celestial. godly. kinda ethereal type glow to him somehow but i had like#500 tabs worth of references images up on my screen as it were ....#bonus guardians logo on sash#hes probably like 100% wearing his jet boots under that still and got his mask on hand haha#theres that one outfit description in the gotg game that talks about how even in formal events hes ready to jump into combat#in case of emergencies. which has. definitely happened im sure and obviously does happen at the gala#no design comment on the glasses i just think glasses are hot... ;p#if you read this far on the tags.. have a good night! also oop i hit the max tag limit NOOOO

IN A SENSE GROOVY A CARD YOU HAVE TO GET ANOTHER COPY OF IT THRU THE EVENT#and when Ashi woke up after cramming ranking because of the whole book 6 fiasco#she found out that she ranked 4.1%. I feel like genshin's bad writing issues aren't really the same as other gachas just because the structure of the game itself is very different compared to card collection-based ones. It's not really a matter of retconning character development for the sake of sales, there IS absolutely dogshit writing in this game but imo it's not really tied to the gacha itself in the same way because the entire storyline including the characters' individual ones aren't really gated by owning them and the developers are fully aware that the characters will sell themselves regardless of what their story is as long as they're cute anime characters because a significant chunk of the fanbase doesn't even know how to read
#like genshin is very adamant about not revisiting things that already happened if they happened during a limited time event#even if it's integral to the story if you missed out on it you're on your own#so it doesn't have as much of an issue with characters having their personal development erased for the sake of having them repeat the same#realization over and over or whatever#I'm not saying the writing doesn't suffer from having to make the characters marketable (cough cough Ei)#but at least it doesn't really tend to go back on itself and keep the characters' personalities and issues static and boring#🗨️#from what i gathered hoyo's games in general tend to be very story driven regardless of the gacha element#whether the story is well written is a whole different ordeal#but it's very much a major element of the game and not just an afterthought slapped on to better sell the gacha#if anything the gacha can feel kind of slapped on to justify the rest of the game#like the main appeal is very much exploring and learning about the story of the world from different sources including all the various#world quests that aren't even tied to any playable characters so they're entirely like separate from the need to sell you a character#that being said I'm not saying the writing is Good either. just that it's usually internally consistent with itself at least
