I think I forgot to tell you. But I did watch the movie already and OUGH it was good. My brother watched it with me and he hasn't read the novels or manga so he has no clues on what it would be about so he laughed his ass off when he learnt what was going on (spoiler discussion is okay or?)
Spoiler discussion is OK!! Congrats on seeing the movie! Unfortunately they didn't have any merch or collectibles at the theater I was at. I drew Demiurge to celebrate after watching.
The film cut out quite a bit from the novels, which I was somewhat disappointed about, but I'm honestly glad enough that we have a film... Ainz looked so good on the big screen!!
#what a coincidence#i also watched with my brother#and he also happened to be clueless#hahahaha#as ainz once said...#'coincidence is such a scary thing'#he thought I resembled demiurge#i wasn't completely sure how to take that...#i suppose fanatacism might be a similarity lol!#i drew that demiurge piece based on the comment#asks#lichfromspace#I've got tan skin. black hair. glasses. and some lankiness#if that changes anything

"The Executed Sage Is Reincarnated As A Lich And Starts An All-Out War" is fucking peak
anime when?

seriously the main lead is like Ainz Ooal Gown but with way more chill and actually still has human empathy from when he was alive. His whole plan is that if he becomes the new demon lord, people will stop fighting each other and unite for his destruction, bringing world peace. So he runs around with his army goes through the "ooog me so ebil gonna getcha" motions right?
But the "will of the world" don't like this! The world or "fate" has deemed that the natural order of thangs is: a demon lord appears, tries to destroy humanity, and then a "hero" rises to strike down the dark one. So now shit in this reality is getting all fucky wucky because he fucking gets the new hero the world chose to take him out-

and now the "will of the world" aka fate is all out of wack and just throwing shonen protag power surges at random people in an attempt to stop the demon king and return things to "normal"
hell it already isekai'd in a guy, and that was a crapshoot

and like i said, this guy isn't a heartless lich who lost his humanity when he died,

litterally him and his bestie/secret crush sshhhh🤫 were the warriors who killed the last demon king and... welp, once they did and were the two most loved and powerful people in the world, a king conspired to frame them as having only killed the dark lord so that they could become the next evil lords
SO THEY JUST LET THEMSELVES GET GRABBED, STABBED, AND HUCKED OFF A CLIFF AND INTO THE VALLEY OF SUPER DEATH RATHER THAN FIGHT BACK AND HURT ANYONE

so for some reason only he becomes a lich after their bodies rot 4 a long time while crying about it

then he sucks up all the-
-in the valley of death™ and becomes ☠️buttfuck☠️ powerful

yeah! don't worry gang, its gonna be all right now! ❤️love and peace🕊️

aw but he can't bring her back tho. cos her soul was too pure and noble and he the demon king now😔
ANYWAYS THIS SHIT IZ GOOD

please if it ever gets an anime, please let it get a better treatment than Overlord did. All those 3d models :( no
anyways READ IT:

Some Overlord thoughts
So I'm giving the series a rewatch and reread, and on the downside, there's a lot of stuff mentioned in early chapters that just ...never really comes up again, and that kind of bothers me.
Like the lizardmen. There's so much we find out about their culture, and then they join Nazarick and....aside from "well they seem to love training alongside Hamuske" we don't ever really hear from them again. And there's the evil undead cult that Ainz fights as Momon early on, and then...they're gone too. I'd love some short stories at least, about where things end up.
But what tends to nag at me most is - if Ainz can take down the Theocracy, which seems honestly pretty likely (though he might lose a few of his people), the thing is...that basically means he rules the world. And I don't think that would actually be a bad thing. For anyone. You'd probably get a good two hundred years of peace in fact. He's not exactly a benevolent beacon of goodness, but he is honest, and just, and scrupulously true to his word and I can't actually name any politicians of which those things can be said. His rule isn't full of joy - but it's also not full of hate, pain, and fear, and that alone makes it a HUGE step up for pretty much EVERY place he conquers.
I think if another Player or three drops in in two hundred years, they would OF COURSE go gunning for Ainz. (Unless they recognize the guild name, in which case they will still go gunning but probably a lot more carefully). But everyone else? Once they get over the goth theme...honestly I think most of them would be happy.
Which makes me wonder just what, if not another Player, would bring the Sorcerous Kingdom to an end?

'ey Ainz, what made you fall head over heels for Elise?
Same question can go for Kazuya and Mishra, if you two also want to give your thoughts.
AINZ: "Ah... it wasn't entirely an immediate 'love at first sight' emotional reaction, so to speak; our attraction happened over time. In Yggdrasil- or whatever name this new world we're apart of might be known as- Elise is a Sylph Queen Archfey, which means their kind are highly sought after for sport by non-grotesque races. Humans, to be blunt. They'd lost their wings in a scuffle far more bloody than it should have been- they were quite literally ripped out from their back- and due to the magic of being transported into the world itself, they lost the ability to regenerate them that they normally would have had. Quite literally, Elise was left with stumps protruding out from their shoulder blades where their wings should have been, and it was easy to discern how traumatic of a moment that was, and what impact it left on them. You're more than likely asking yourselves at this moment, 'what does this have to do with how you fell in love with them?'- and it happens to be how they learned to adapt afterwards. Losing an enormous part of what makes someone what they were would normally cause someone to spiral into a mindset of doubt on all sides, but not Elise. My beloved Archfey was determined to find some way- any way- to get their wings back, or find a way to fly without them. Their unrelenting tenacity and refusal to give up despite the trauma sparked something within me, and they revealed everything to me one night when they were in a more vulnerable state- and that was when I knew I felt so much more for them that I could rightfully explain. Even without the light of their wings, their beauty still shone brighter than anything in Yggdrasil." MISHRA: "Truthfully, I'd known it since we were in our teens. Elise was the first person to form an actual connection with me when Urza and I arrived at Tocasia's camp, and we quite literally became inseparable in a matter of weeks. While I didn't say it until much later on, I knew I loved them the night that my brother and I...our stones caused Tocasia's death. They ran after me, begging to follow me wherever I went, no matter where it was. God, I wanted to tell them to come with me so badly, but I tried to say that they still belonged at the dig site. They had more going for them than I did, they could make something of themselves there. But when Elise broke down into tears, denouncing everything and declaring that they belonged with me? Saying they'd literally give up everything so they could stay by my side? That was the moment I knew I was a goner. I would never let them go, and that was a promise I would keep forever. And I did." KAZUYA: "...Elise never once tried to change me. Never said that I was wrong or needed fixing for why I was the way I was. They had their own distorted, broken relationship with their father, identified with my past, and stood by me. They weren't fragile; they could handle themselves in a fight but constantly wanted to get better. They had grit and heart, and accepted me for who I was. Not a lot of people have done that."

Shalltear and Aura's adventure
An: Trigger/Content Warnings in general and for this chapter: Shalltear Bloodfallen, lots of broken bones, at least one massacre, Lovecraftian/Cosmic Horror played mostly straight, Dehumanization, Overlord’s NPCs played mostly straight, Aura’s Drug Breathing, NPCs are Heavy Machinery, abuse, being trapped in an awful situation where you can’t escape, Pokemon are food, Slavery in everything but name, thievery, Lovecraftian/Cosmic Horror played mostly straight, enemies to friends that will try and avoid Stockholm Syndrome (or at least it’s popular interpretation), or at least Enemies to someone who wouldn’t disembowel you out of boredom.
============
A ball of liquid darkness manifested in the sky above the suddenly dead Re-Estize conscript army. The eldritch darkness descended only a few feet before reality shivered and a second, far more golden, sun appeared next to it. The sun in the sky darkened and was overtaken by the radiance of the sheer divinity that was manifesting before all. The second sun’s lightrays were focused on the ball of eldritch darkness, the pained bleating of goats echoed from the interrupted summoning.
“Who and or what is that? And why didn’t you interrupt sooner?! I just spent an irreplaceable resource!” Ainz mentally complained. “I mean tactically it makes sense for you to do so, but I forgot how irritating it is to be on this side of the tactic. I didn’t even realize that you could dodge-tank a Super Tier Spell.”
Mare moved between Ainz and the balls of light and dark, glancing at his God Emperor and asked. “S-Should I attack the false god?”
Ainz shook his head.
The ball of eldritch darkness finally died and the second sun dimmed, revealing a large white equine with a golden wheel around its waist, on the wheel spokes were green gems. Dark gray colored fur covered a fourth of the body, particularly the face and undersides of its hair and torso. Its hooves ended in the same gold as the wheel. A halo of different colored plates that radiated with strange energies rotated around the equine in a gyroscopic fashion.
Its imperalistic red irises stood out from the green sclera as the equine scanned the battlefield, making certain that every spec of darkness was eliminated. A click emnated from the equine as its eyes locked with Ainz’ flame eyes.
“Why have you interrupted my summoning?” Ainz tried to wrestle control of the situation.
The equine emitted a green pulse of energy, the air whistled as the recently dead drew breath once more and they broke the record of routing speed upon seeing the equine. Who touched down in the freed space, but everyone’s eyes were drawn to where the equine was hovering when a loud clang and bang erupted from it. A red, black, gray, and gold dragon six legged with wispy-no, ghostlike wings appeared to be fighting a large goat-like forest of tentacles.
Or at least, that’s what the tree blobs of darkness and tentacles sounded like.
=You have brought the attention of the Outer Gods to this realm.= The equine said via mental broadcast.
Everyone save Ainz and Mare clutched their heads at the unusual method of communication. Ainz and Mare recognized the Message Spell-like communication and didn’t panic.
=I will not allow my next door neighbors to fall to Them of all entities.= The equine said. =Either way, that spell would have allowed a stronghold of their influence into this reality and all nearby. Perhaps if you did this over six centuries ago, then their influence would be contained. Perhaps if you didn’t unwillingly smash through reality with your eleven World Items it would have been manageable without my intervention.=
“How does this thing know about the state of my treasury?” Ainz thought of the strange being.
Mare, infuriated at the tone of the equine, raised his staff to cast a spell but was stopped by the gentle grip of his god’s right hand.
=Petite Disaster would not have worked anyways, though I must grant you points for trying to.= The equine said, staring into the Dark Elf boy’s eyes.
Mare stilled as he futilely applied more mental defenses to himself. Ainz’s left hand twitched to summon Death Kn- Ainz narrowed his eyes as he finally figured out what some of the energies the plates were shedding like the stars above radiate light.
“WHY DOES THIS THING HAVE HOLY, UNDEAD, INFERNAL, AND DRAGONIC ENERGIES IN SOLIDIFIED FORM?!” Ainz mentally screamed.
“A stronghold implies the preexistence of a beachhead!” Gazef Stronoff projected his voice to the equine. “Where is this beachhead?!”
=Beachheads.= the equine said.
Everyone else flinched at that.
=In order of least to most: The Crack in the Forest of Tob, The Great Rift from the Dwarven Kingdom in the Azerlia Mountain Range and subsequent chaos in the Planetary Mantle, The True Dragon Lord known as Cure Elim who two hundred and fifty years ago inspired the story of Landfall and left Princess Keno Fasris Invern (or as she’s known today as Evileye of the Blue Roses) to take the blame.= The equine said while lifting his left front hoof to point in the directions.
=Cure Elim has also detected this summoning spell and is moving closer as we speak, he will reach the Abelion Hills in two years at his current pace, if he puts effort into his speed then he will reach the Abelion Hills by this winter.= the equine said.
Everyone save Ainz, Mare, and Gazef burst into furious mutters at the mention of Landfall and only spiked at the mention of her current name. Before silencing themselves at the news of this ‘Cure Elim’ coming closer and his potential max speed.
=And finally the most insidious.= The equine continued.
“THERE’S SOMETHING WORSE THAN WHATEVER A ‘TRUE’ DRAGON LORD IS?!” Ainz mentally screamed.
=The phenomenon of individual and racial level caps. In your terminology this is called “Capped at Gold”.= The equine said.
Climb looked at his hands and was glad to see that he hadn’t spontaneously mutated into black bleating tentacles or something worse. Brain and Gazef clasped reassurance grips upon the boy’s shoulders.
=Do not worry, Tsaindorcus Vaision the Platinum True Dragon Lord (better known as Riku Aganeia of the Thirteen Heroes which is his remotely controlled Golem), invested most of his energy to prevent complete subversion of reality from these level caps. So even if the Outer Gods do manifest you will not mutate into their spawn. The natural state of things is that if a leveling system applies to someone, then their level cap is synchronized with the rest of existence: At level one hundred.= A grayish-white pulse emitted from the equine.
All those touched by the pulse had numbers displayed over their heads, visible to all no matter the positioning and distance. Over the equine’s head were shifting numbers, one second it would be a hundred/hundred. The next it would be complete gibberish before cycling between the two. Over Ainz and Mare’s heads read the hundred/hundred but lacked the gibberish cycle. Over Gazef’s head was thirty/thirty.
Over Brain Unglaus’ head was thirty/thirty five. And finally the prime example of being capped at Gold was Climb at fifteen/fifteen.
=While technically you can cheat and increase your level with specialized Martial Arts, such as Young Climb’s Trump card, or with Wild Magic. It is mostly a hard rule that is difficult to increase on a personal level, let alone species wide. If you don’t subvert your limits properly, you will die after a few minutes. The 9th tier [True Resurrection] can bring you back from this type of death, though the only ones I know that are capable of this level of revivification magic, excluding myself, are subordinates of Ainz.
Wild Magic is the separation of True Dragon Lords from regular Dragon Lords such as the Frost Dragon Lord of Azerliza Mountains who is raiding the Dwarven Kingdom.= The equine said. =The greatest feat of Wild Magic that I know of is the centennial summoning spell that brought the Six Great Gods, Eight Greed Kings, and Ainz’s Great Tomb of Nazarick to this world.=
Ainz’s eye flames flickered as he ignored the renewed mumblings.
“How exactly are we supposed to surpass our limits properly?” Brain Unglaus said.
=In a way that isn’t applied buff spells like Flow Acceleration? Eugenics, the art of strengthening a region over the course of generational selective breeding.= the equine answered. =You know this best as what the Slane Theocracy does.=
Brain clicked his tongue.
“Why didn’t whoever cast that spell not bring the rest of the Supreme Beings?” Mare gritted his teeth.
“And these ‘Outer Gods’ would reverse-engineer the spell, so that instead of receiving it, they would be sending either themselves or their agents.” Ainz said, finger on his chin. “Thus allowing them to reach the level one hundred caps in multiple realities, and in places where the barriers between worlds were thin like this centennial summoning spell, they would gain access to all of their cumulative levels in all of their realities.”
The equine nodded, the solidified Holy plate pulsed bringing a sense of satisfaction over the battlefield.
“But.” Ainz said. “You would not have appeared before us if you and your world could handle them on your own. What do you need from us?”
=The main force I will be employing will require more commanders who have actual experience in combat than the sportsfaire that has taken over my world recently.= the equine said. =For now I am taking two people from each nearby nation to undergo a specialized Pokemon Journey. In this journey you will become the leader of a pack of magical beasts. Six is the current average number, but in the past there were trainers who functioned as miniature ecosystems.=
=And do not worry about messing up your level-builds for four reasons. 1, my world doesn’t have classes. 2, humans in my world passively generate an experience boosting field, making you level up faster. Unfortunately if you enter my world as a human, you will not gain the EXP boost field. Only natives will generate it. 3, I will be reintroducing the recipe of level up candies and making a recipe for a level down candy. Thus soon every store will have them. 4, upon consuming either one of those candies, you will see your ‘character sheet’ for over here.=
Mare’s mouth flopped uselessly as his Avarice and Generosity Gauntlets World Item was just rendered redundant.
=XP in this world is scaled off of effort expended, hence why Keno couldn’t level up anymore from killing monsters. Hence why people of this world can ‘skip’ classes and levels. And why Keno did not (at least attempt to) clear Katze Plains from the undead.= the equine said. =Admittedly this is a helpful feature, in preventing you from gaining House Servant Levels from fixing your bed or cooking your own meals. And thus ruining your combat ‘build’.= “So, even if the XP wasn’t shunted to the Outer gods/deleted, My/Mare’s Gauntlets wouldn’t have filled at all. Anyways.” Ainz and Mare thought. “It’s not like we apparently need to grow stronger or anything!”
=Indeed, that is what would have happened.= the equine nodded. =I will give everyone here one week to decide if they want to become a Pokemon Trainer.=
The Holy plate pulsed, clearing the sky and removing the faint itching sensation. Ainz eyes flickered to the horizon.
“Thank you for clearing out the Katze Plains.” Gazef voiced almost everyone’s thoughts.
“Damnit, I should have taken those flying ghost ships before the battle!” Ainz thought.
“I want to shove my staff up this equine’s anus. And rearrange its guts.” Mare thought. “If it doesn’t have an anus, then I will make one.”
“Before we leave, may I ask what is your name?” Ainz asked, hand raised like he was back in Elementary School.
=I am Arceus, the Creation Pokemon.= the equine said. =And if you need any further incentive, then after you’ve completed your Pokemon Journey, then I will personally grant one wish for each of you.=
---------------------------------
“...And that is everything I know about this [Arceus.]” Lord Ainz said.
The Floor Guardians (and Sebas/Pestonya) had contained their bristling while The Last Supreme Being detailed this false god. Mare had curled into a ball that had shivered the entire story. Aura leaned over and plopped Mare into her lap, and gently rubbed her younger brother’s back.
“Well, I am definitely going.” Aura said.
“We don’t have to follow this false god’s demands!” Albedo snarled.
Aura turned to look Albedo in the eyes.
“Yes that is true, but we will have more meat shields if we follow its commandments. At least temporarily.” Aura said.
“I suggest that we don’t leave the defense of our world to the inferiors outside our Tomb.” Demiurge said. “While the Worker Invasion had merely the averagely strong combatants, even this World’s peaks have been wildly lackluster.”
“Of what we have encountered so far.” Lord Ainz cautioned.
The NPCs nodded.
“Albedo, I want to know where this Tsaindorcus resides currently.” Lord Ainz commanded. “You, and your agents, are not permitted to antagonize the Dragon in any way. Self-Defense is permissible, but provoking him into attacking you then claiming self-defense will earn my ire.”
“Yes, my Beloved.” Albedo bowed her head.
“Sebas, your task is to find out who Re-Estize is sending to the Pokemon World.” Lord Ainz commanded.
“It is my honor to do as you command, my Lord.” Sebas said, bowing with his hand over his heart.
Lord Ainz rubbed his chin. “I did not get the chance to clarify what exactly Arceus meant by nations, perhaps he views only the human nations to be worthy of this journey. Either way, Cocytus, you are to prepare the Lizardmen in case Arceus wants the demihuman tribes to participate.”
“I. Already. Have. Ideas. On. Who. To. Send. My. Lord.” Cocytus said, a mild blast of frost escaping his mouth.
“Aura, you are to prepare Tob Forest for the same reason.” Lord Ainz commanded.
Aura nodded.
“Still, we need someone to accompany Aura on this journey.” Lord Ainz said.
00000000000The Portal Scene.00000000000000
Lord Ainz, Shalltear, and Aura exited the [Gate] Spell in the Katze Plains. To their left was Brain Unglaus and Evileye, to their right was a platinum suit of armor that had a hovering katana, spear, hammer, and greatsword. Slightly to the left of that armor was an elderly human woman.
Brain jumped in front of Evileye as soon as Shalltear exited the [Gate], the dragonic-vampire loli tilted her head at the swordsman in front of her.
“Calm yourself.” The two vampire lolis commanded Brain. “We can’t afford a fight now, the portal is opening in a few minutes.”
“If Shalltear Bloodfallen is among the Sorcerous Kingdom, then so too is Jaldadaoth.” Brain bit his tongue before his vocal cords were removed.
Brain gritted his teeth as he didn’t drop his stance. His forearms twitched but his sword refused to be drawn nor be put down. Before he snorted and visibly forced himself to resume his neutral stance.
….
Aura stumbled as the Depiction of Landscapes World Item impacted the waist of her back. The equine’s plates shattered into dozens of smaller shards each, those shards paired up into wheels around everyone who was going. On Shalltear’s left hip manifested a brown model boat.
Lord Ainz, Aura, and Shalltear blinked as it felt the same as Shalltear’s given World Item. But this was not how it was just a few minutes ago.
00000000000Aura and Shalltear get to the pokemon world0000000000000
Shalltear and Aura were dropped from the portal above a forest clearance, Shalltear caught Aura and extended her wings to halt her fall, angelic wings against the backdrop of the late evening sun. Though the portal was only a short distance from the ground, neither of them would have taken fall damage. Aura sensed a multitude of strange beasts fleeing through the tall grass and slipped into the trees around them. There was a human boy who turned the corner past a tree.
He had a light gray sun hat, cyan shirt and pants, with an orange backpack and a belt clip on that held one strange red and white ball, the clip had options for five more balls.
Eh!” The boy blinked and rubbed his eyes. “Is that a new Regional Banette? Or a Gothielle? Arceus did just create this Region during this morning’s sunrise. I don’t recognize that brown oval Held Item.”
Shalltear tilted her head, sensing that the boy was talking about her. Aura blinked at the new terms.
“How did you raise them to their Final Evolution so fast?” The boy asked Aura, eyes filled with inquisitive glee. “Final Evolutions only rarely appear in the wild, at least in every region I know of. Or did that giant scroll on your back allow you to skip the Middle Evolution? If this is a Regional Exclusive Third Stage, I don’t remember Banettes having a middle stage. Unless Mega Evolutions count as the final stage. Gothitelle is the final stage of the Gothita line, so you are probably that. You certainly feel like a Final Evolution.”
“Ah, so that’s what this [Arceus] meant about EXP boost.” Aura and Shalltear thought. “If these [Pokemon] are divided into life stages/metamorphs, then the boost field combined with routine fighting would naturally craft a symbiosis between the humans and beasts.”
The boy looked down at his feet.
“Well, more like what my mom and older sisters know of.” The boy said before shaking his head. “Anyways, my name’s Matt.”
The boy unclipped his strange ball and tossed it up in the air.
“Eevee! I choose you!” the boy said.
At the ball’s apex, above Aura and Shalltear’s equally confused and attentive expressions, the ball split open on an unseen hinge. White light spewed forth, consolidating into a vulpine-feline-canine outline. The white light vanished revealing a fully alive brown creature, the ‘Eevee’ pawed at the ground and stared down Shalltear. The wind blew the creature’s pheromones and many others waiting cautiously in the wings towards the cousins.
“Eevee.” the creature said, menacingly as a puppy.
Aura and Shalltear, however, blinked at the boy and his …pocket…monster. Shalltear rubbed her temples with her left hand, ignoring Aura’s pleading glance.
“Since we just met, I’ll allow you to make the first move.” The boy said.
Shalltear’s eyes were half lidded but her smirk allowed her fangs to peek.
“Thank you for your generous donation.” Shalltear said.
The boy and the Eevee blinked as Shalltear talked. Their eyes opened to see Shalltear suddenly standing in front of Eevee before she kicked the dog thing leftwards into a tree. The dog yipped as she bounced off the trunk and twisted herself to land on her feet between the roots. Shalltear had, in fact, kicked twice. The first kick was somehow nullified, but the second one Shalltear clad her leg in Holy-type energy. This happened too fast for the boy and the Eevee to perceive, let alone react to.
“Baby doll eyes!” The boy yelled.
“Vee.” The Eevee eyes’ glowed pink as Holy energy flared from her eyes.
Shalltear frowned as her muscles twitched, [Holy] energy blocking neuro-receptors and caused an attack down. Aura tilted her head as Shalltear pinned the dog against the tree by her throat. The boy frowned at her sheer speed.
“How the hell did you just give me a debuff?!” Shalltear snarled, teeth far sharper than any human’s. “I am supposed to be immune to them!”
“Quick Attack!” The boy commanded before shrugging. “When in doubt, blame a Legendary. Though in this case, it is probably through Arceus’ meddling. He is the Greatest of the Legendaries after all.”
The dog clad herself in a strange energy and violently twitched in Shalltear’s grasp. The only result was a soft clang as Shalltear took no damage. Shalltear raised her left eyebrow as she saw the twitching dog and heard the latter half of the boy’s communication.
“Okay, not Gothielle.” the boy blinked. “At least not one with the standard [Psychic] Typing.”
Eevee frowned and opened her mouth, teeth glowed a pale black and grew slightly extended for only a second. The teeth shattered with only a soft chime before the dog could even begin to bite down. Shalltear’s eyes narrowed as she recognized the energy, or at least her world’s equivalent. Aura tilted her head as she memorized the pattern that the dog tried to make and sustain.
“Why is biting an infernal action?” The cousins asked the boy.
The boy shrugged.
“Well aren’t you just so very useful.” Shalltear snarked.
Shalltear punched the Eevee in the stomach, causing her to curl up and dry heave. Shalltear dropped the dog and out of Shalltear’s shadow came shadow-clad [Vampire Wolves] from her [Household Summons] skill, who instantly pinned the Eevee against the tree roots. Eevee growled as the Wolves teeth closed around her, unable to harm her because of Eevee’s [Normal]-typing. Still, the weight and leverage of the newly-spawned Wolves prevented Eevee from coming to her master’s aid.
Shalltear appeared in front of the boy with his left elbow in her left hand.
“Ah, if only that dog thing was stronger.” Shalltear said.
She leaned close enough for their noses to almost touch. The boy’s confused look from him still processing the fact that she had a hold of him caused Shalltear to smile and she squeezed his elbow until it shattered.
“Then this wouldn’t have happened to you.” Shalltear said.
Shalltear’s smile only grew wider as the boy screamed. Shalltear unraveled her lamphey form’s tongue and wrapped it around the boy’s exposed upper arm bone with the tip of her tongue wiggled around in the shattered elbow fragments that pierced his skin. The boy’s scream changed pitch as he felt her tongue violating him.
“You sound like you’ve never had a broken bone before.” Shalltear added as she reached lower. “Shall I add a busted kneecap to this experience?”
Behind Shalltear a blossom of raw energy manifested in the dog pile of Vampire Wolves and Eevee. The cousins snapped their heads around to see the white light fade. Leaving a primarily white dog with pink ‘hair’ and long ribbons that ended in two shades of blue. The dog’s sclera were cyan and the Iris-Pupil were pure white. Its paws were the same shade of pink as its hair. The Vampire Wolves had been obliterated by the dog as it was undergoing metamorphosis.
“Sylveon!” The dog howled.
Sylveon clad herself in Quick Attack, but it was different the cousins sensed as they blinked. Their eyes opened to see Sylveon had bit, the regular kind, into Shalltear’s hand forcing her to let go and its ribbons grabbed Shalltear’s tongue which forcibly unwrapped it. The Holy energy which engulfed the dog pulsed and provided a spin. Which allowed Sylveon to toss Shalltear into the same tree as the dog was victimized by.
Sylveon sang a few notes and Holy energy crashed into Shalltear, blistering her skin.
“And that’s a new type of debuff.” Shalltear’s left eye twitched.
Aura watched as her cousin lunged at the dog with her left hand outstretched, but the Holy Quick Attack pulsed and pushed Sylveon out of the way. Though the dog stumbled as the body-sheath aura vanished, Sylveon gritted her teeth but the split second distraction of trying to reapply Quick Attack allowed Shalltear to grab the dog.
“Alright then, let’s do this the hard way.” Shalltear said.
The dog furiously vibrated which caused her to blur and her outline became fuzzy in Shalltear’s grip however Shalltear grabbed and broke the front left leg of Sylveon. The dog howled as she furiously tried to apply Baby Doll Eyes and her second debuff, Slyveon’s outline reverted back to normal. Shalltear rolled her eyes and punched the dog in the stomach again.
“Syyylll.” The dog slurred.
The dog fainted and the cousins frowned at the irregularity. Her left hand’s nails grew longer and she sliced open Sylveon’s left cheek. The pain failed to wake the dog nor worsen its condition.
Unseen by the cousins, the boy shook his head and gritted his teeth. Fumbling with his good arm at his waist.
“Sylveon, return!” the boy held up the red and white ball.
A red beam of light reached out to the defeated pinkish canine and turned the Sylveon into red light which was reabsorbed by the ball. The boy put the ball back on his belt, retrieved a strange pouch, held it with his teeth, and removed a few sheets of paper. He tossed the paper at Aura before bolting the way he came. The cousins blinked and tilted their heads.
“Did you just give us some of your loot tables?” Shalltear asked.
The boy did not make it past a single tree before Shalltear tackled him to the ground, right hand on his head forcing him to taste dirt, left leg around his waist, right leg kneeling on his knees, and left hand shuffling around his backpack. There were some potion-like elixirs, yet the top was odd. There was a handle to squeeze, but the nozzle was a small cone.
“What are these?” Shalltear held up the elixir. “Spray on potions from afar?”
The boy tried to wiggle but Shalltear only tightened her grip on his head.
“Yes, they are Potions!” The boy said with tears in his eyes. “Mom wouldn’t let me bring any Hyper or Max Potions. Despite my allowance being able to afford them!”
Aura walked up to them as Shalltear put the potion back and shuffled through the backpack.
“So, if these are Potions, then these must be status salves.” Shalltear muttered to herself.
Aura leaned over and peered into the backpack, it was far deeper than expected. There were a lot of the Potions and other elixirs, more of the strange monster storage balls, a pouch with berries, general food and hygiene products for the boy and his dog, a sleeping bag, and a tent.
“Did your mother get you this Bag of Holding?” Aura asked.
“No, I paid for it myself.” The boy answered, trying to meet either of their eyes.. “And it’s called a backpack, Silph Co originated this style of backpack a few decades ago. Everyone knows this.”
The boy blinked. “Did Arceus create you wi-”
Shalltear shattered the boy’s knees as Aura stomped on the boy’s nose, pulverizing the cartilage.
“Arceus is not our Creator!” The cousins yelled over the boy’s pained screams
“Lady Bukubukuchagma is mine!” Aura said, again she stomped on the boy’s broken nose.
“Lord Perocinnoro is mine!” Shalltear said, grinding her heel into the boy’s left busted kneecap.
The boy’s tears mixed with his blood and the dirt below, forming a reddish mud.
“We. Are. Not. Pokemon!” Shalltear’s nails dug into the boy’s skull, which drew more blood.
Aura frowned as she could see the boy’s exposed skull and grabbed Shalltear’s wrist.
“Shalltear no!” Aura said, breath spewed out mood stabilizers. “If we kill him, then we have no idea where anything is!”
Shalltear snarled as she twisted her torso to look at Aura.
“If we don’t keep him alive, then we won’t have access to this early resource node!” Aura said, glared into Shalltear’s eyes. “Thus we would fall behind the others from our world, let alone the natives. Thus we would disappoint Lord Ainz.”
Shalltear’s growl faded in pitch to a low rumble in her chest as she thought.
“We could always just fly up and take over any transports nearby, if there aren’t any towns.” Shalltear rolled her eyes. “No wait, this is an infantile Region, so there would only be tent towns. Either way, we can transport a lot of material to a secure position with your beasts, Aura. Besides, we can and should trade up resource nodes. Beginner ones always give pitiful amounts of their resources, why would it be any different?”
Aura leaned close enough for their noses to almost touch.
“Honokopoyo.” Aura reminded Shalltear.
Shalltear flinched which broke the boy’s spine and pelvis. Shalltear looked down at the b-resource node upon hearing its latest screams of damage and restored its integrity. Aura gently unraveled Shalltear from the resource node and pulled the node into an upright seating position.
“If you insult us in that manner again,” Aura said with hands on the node’s shoulders, glared into its unfocused eyes. “I won’t stop Shalltear.”
The node tearfully nodded, voice too hoarse to reply.
Shalltear took a water bottle from the backpack, opened the bottle, opened the node’s mouth by gripping the node’s lower jaw, and poured the liquid down the node’s throat. The node gargled before it swallowed, hands that briefly flailed in drowning panic, fell beside the node’s waist. Shalltear removed the water bottle, thermos a deep part of her whispered, and put it back in the backpack. The strange ball twitched and rolled.
“Aura could have helped by holding the node’s nose shut.” Shalltear thought.
“What are those strange balls called anyways?” Aura asked, staring at the vibrating ball.
“These are called Pokeballs.” The node said, after clearing its throat, voice monotone. “Specifically the general category and these basic ones share the same name.”
The ‘pokeball’ popped open on its own, depositing a warbling Sylveon. She stumbled under her own weight but dutifully got between the cousins and her owner. The sliced cheek had healed itself in the interval. The node collapsed to its knees, wrapped its arms around Sylveon avoiding her sore stomach, and breathed heavily into the back of her head. Sylveon wrapped her ribbons around her owner’s head, growing damp with the node’s tears.
“Wow, you really are adorable like that.” Aura said, bending at the knees to rub Sylveon’s head. “Shame that you have such a defective node to be your master.”
Slyveon growled and shook off Aura’s hand, who moved it to scratch the dog’s chin. Her other hand reached out to the ribbons, her palm tingled as [Holy] energy coursed through the ribbons with every heartbeat. Slyveon tried to raise her front right paw but it only reached halfway to Aura’s lower hand before it fell back to the ground. Shalltear reached through the maze of ribbons and pulled up the node’s tear streaked face.
“Say, does this one have another metamorphosis in its lifespan?” Shalltear asked.
The node shook its head in the negative as Slyveon’s eyes fell to the ground, or at least Aura’s arm.
“Eevee is a rare pokemon because of its overwhelmingly male dominated population.” The node explained, it had regained a bit of inflection in its voice. “The Eevee can change from Normal type to roughly half of all other types, thus an additional factor on why they are so expensive to own.”
Aura stopped her chin scratches and opened Sylveon’s mouth.
“How long have you had her?” Aura said after she released the dog’s mouth and resumed her scratches. “Her teeth are well cared for and her fur is luxurious. Did it change with the metamorph, Shalltear?”
Shalltear rubbed Sylveon’s neck with her free hand before she shook her head in the negative. One of Sylveon’s ribbons twirled as it swept away the node’s tears, now that they had temporarily ceased their flow. Aura grabbed Sylveon’s broken leg and healed it using one of her [Beast Master] Skills. Sylveon tested the limb before she settled into a more stable defensive stance.
“We grew up with each other, Mom is a Pokemon Breeder.” The node said. “Mostly focused on the Eeveelutions and rabbit-like Pokemon.”
Aura nodded as Shalltear tapped her chin.
“Can Sylveon learn any Fairy Type attacks?” Shalltear asked. “Instead of just those debuffs she clearly knows.”
The node nodded.
“There are specialized Technical Machines, which are disks that are placed upon a Pokemon’s forehead, that can teach them any Move.” the node said. “But they are expensive and last time my dad did research there were only 33 Fairy Type moves, there are probably more but they haven’t been categorized yet. Most of which haven’t been converted into TMs yet. Including the stronger ones like [Moonblast], [Nature’s Madness], [Fleur Cannon], or [Light of Ruin]. The second debuff she used is [Disarming Voice].”
Shalltear and Aura blinked.
“Sheesh, and I thought that the New World had nerfed the [Holy] attribute.” The cousins thought.
“Thank you, now I have actual targets for my thievery.” Shalltear thought. “Not to mention why I shouldn’t convince Aura to trade resource nodes.”
“The reason why Quick Attack got converted into Fairy Type was Sylveon’s Hidden Ability, Pixilate.” The node offered. “It converts all Normal Type Moves into Fairy Type, it also provides a small bonus to Fairy type damage. Normal Types are completely immune to Ghost Types but also can’t damage them, unless they use a different stock of Type Energy.”
“So abilities are this world’s passives or Talents.” The cousins nodded.
“What is this Region called, if it has a name yet?” Aura asked.
“Yes, Arceus named it himself.” The node nodded. “This is the Degurechaff Region.”
Instantly the cousins felt a strange sense of belonging, of kind hearted rivalry, and shared time together. Before Shalltear shook her head and Aura rolled her eyes.
“What a strange name.” Shalltear said.
Aura meanwhile looked at the tree line and rubbed her eyes.
“Wait, it’s sunset?” Aura squeaked.
Shalltear blinked and observed the sun before she dove for the tent. Aura picked up the node and Sylveon as Shalltear blurred through the tent set up. Aura accidentally untangled the two of them in the process. Aura plopped them down at the back of the tent and withdrew the sleeping bag. The node shimmied until it met the wall of the tent, pressing itself into the wall. It ended up lying down on the floor.
Slyveon laid down on her owner’s chest and glared at Shalltear. Aura wiggled into the sleeping bag, peacefully drifting off to sleep. Shalltear zipped the tent closed and sat down between the node with Slyveon on top and Aura in her sleeping bag. Shalltear twirled her wrist and a wine glass of blood conjured itself, she swirled it around as she waited for the two natives to fall asleep.
“Don’t worry, I won’t let anything other than me and my cousin touch you two.” Shalltear said. “You’re our precious resource node, and I don’t share lightly.”
Slyveon frowned and curled her legs tighter around node’s torso, serving as its only blanket. The node shivered and wrapped its arms around Sylveon. Slyveon glared at Shalltear who had a sadistic smirk at the node’s cold.
“Besides, that ‘Arceus’ fellow would listen to you over us on sending me and my cousin back home.” Shalltear sipped her blood. “Or to skip this unnecessary training and toss us directly at these ‘Outer Gods’, whatever they are. So, rest up my dear resource node, we have a long day tomorrow and Aura likes to get up at dawn.”
The node opened its mouth to protest.
“If you don’t willingly fall asleep within the next 20 minutes, I will force you to.” Shalltear said, eyes half lidded. “Whether that be smothering you with a body part, choking you, drowning you in summonable blood or my piss or any other liquid, or mind controlling you to slumber. It will depend on my mood at that time.”
The node closed its mouth, squeezed its eyes shut, and counted fluffy Pokemon starting with the Eeveelutions. Slyveon wrapped her ribbons around the node neck and head serving as a brace, sending soothing feelings down their connection. Tearful slumber while counting the sheep-like pokemon engulfed the node 5 minutes later.
“Damnit.” Shalltear thought. “I wanted to force it to sleep, I was currently thinking about making Sylveon smother it to sleep with her hindquarters. Now what am I supposed to do? I was stupid for not bringing Vampire Brides or anything else to entertain me.”
Sylveon joined her owner just a minute later.
Shalltear stood up and tip-toed her way over to the resource node and his dog. The dog shivered as she approached, but the fight and metamorphosis took too much energy from it. Shalltear smiled and sat down next to them, placing her legs over the dog’s torso, adding weight to the node’s chest. Again the node and dog tried to rouse themselves from slumber, but simply lacked the energy. The combined weight, and more specifically the minor amount of effort Shalltear had put into her legs, compressed the node’s lungs enough for its sleep to be wracked with nightmares the entire night.
“Ah, I wonder how hard the resource node would scream if I drained the dog’s blood into its throat.” Shalltear thought.
Shalltear shook her head and retrieved a blank book with writing tools.
Day 0:
I’ve decided to start this diary just to keep my thoughts in order for when I, and Aura, finally deliver this world to the Gloriousness of Lord Ainz. Thus this will help in confirming which feats were mine, and which were hers. …Assuming of course, that through his Wisdom, Lord Ainz hasn’t devised a way to directly view our unaltered memories. Or found a way to surf the time stream. I will prompt Aura to start one of her own tomorrow morning.
Thus I will keep the description of my lustful impulses to a minimum.
Either way, this is Day 0 because we only entered this reality at evening nearing sunset, and while I am perfectly able to operate at any time of day. Aura was ordered to sleep for at least 8 hours every day, or preferably from Sunset to Sunrise. Thus Aura has kept to this commandment of Lord Ainz even in this heathen reality. If this ‘Matt’ was not our sole resource node, then I would have killed him. Or spent the night coaxing out info with my hands in his guts.
Alas, the sole resource node is the sole resource node.
From the resource nodes demeanor, I believe the name Matt is derived from Mattress (as in bed) or Mat (as in gymnastic mat).
We had met the resource node after entering the portal, which had deposited us above a forest clearing. After a short battle demonstrating our changed defenses, apparently this world operates under a [Type] logic. Where the most common Energy Type aptly named [Normal] could not damage the undead analog [Ghost]. When I had threatened the resource node’s safety. The strange dog-fox-cat thing called an [Eevee] did spontaneously metamorphose into something called a [Sylveon].
The Sylveon was now a [Fairy] type, a Holy aligned energy in our terminology, and it completely eradicated my [Vampire Wolves] that was pinning it down just a nanosecond earlier. With this new [Typing], the dog’s debuff [Baby Doll Eyes] was far more effective against me. The Sylveon also had a passive called [Pixilate] which converts all [Normal] Type Energy (or TE) into [Fairy] TE. Which allowed the dog to more effectively (but ultimately futile) thrash against me.
This world also operates under a different HP system. Instead of death upon depletion, instead the Pokemon faint. Judging by the fact that Ghost TE exists at all, means that death is in fact possible in this world. Perhaps there are two health bars, one for combat/general living, and then one that only applies after fainting/near death. Though only a few minutes in the [Pokeball] restored Sylveon to the waking world.
However, its combat energy was near empty, considering that it could barely stand between us and the node. Its major injury, which is a broken front left leg, was not healed however. Only the cosmetic damage I dealt to its cheek was healed. The leg itself was healed under Aura’s ministrations.
Either way, I did not want to risk the integrity of the resource node, so I will experiment upon others.
Upon metamorphosis, the Sylveon also gained a second debuff [Disarming Voice] which unfortunately stacked with the prior debuffs. It also dealt minor damage to me, thankfully the debuffs were still in their beginner stages, nowhere near as powerful as Victim’s debuffs. Thus Sylveon was beaten by a gut punch. At that point, the resource node held up a basic [Pokeball] and unsummoned the Sylveon. [Return]ing in this world’s terminology, before attempting to flee around a bend in the trees. I did not let him pass a single tree.
We interrogated the resource node for a few minutes, correcting the slight misconception that the False God Arceus was our creator, and we gained some basic knowledge about this world. Which I will list below. Either way, the Region we find ourselves in is called the Degurechaff Region, and both Aura and I felt a strange sense of comradery upon hearing the name. This Region was directly made by the false god [Arceus] this sunrise, thus it is only logical to assume for the express purpose of training combatants against the Outer Gods.
Index of terminology and items discovered in day 0:
Pokemon, a general term for magical beasts. Potentially derived from Pocket Monster, because their summoning tech are balls stored on belts/pockets.
Pokeball, a general term for summon contracts with magical beasts. It is also the term for the simplest contract.
Evolution, a term that is equivalent to our metamorphosis.
Final Evolutions, a term for the last lifestage possible for the Pokemon to achieve. An equivalent to Cocytus’ last molting that granted him Agelessness. I am uncertain if the Final Evolutions grant Agelessness as well.
Eevee, a mostly canine creature with features of felines and vulpines.
Sylveon, a metamorph of Eevee.
Type energy, this world’s equivalent to our damage types.

===========bloopers.
“Why have you interrupted my summoning?” Ainz tried to wrestle control of the situation.
=Two reasons.= The equine’s words were broadcast to everyone’s minds, causing everyone save Ainz and Mare to clutch their heads in confusion.
=Reason number 1: You have stated to your Floor Guardians that you do not wish to rule through fear.= the equine let out a green pulse downwards.
The wind whistled as the recently killed all drew breath once more. The conscripts all expressed their jubilation of being alive once more before they spotted the equine hovering above them and retreating back to their starting lines.
=That was ruling through fear and would lead to you becoming unrecognizable in two years.= the equine gently touched down and dismissed its halo of plates.
“How could Lord Ainz ever become unrecognizable?! He is a Supreme Being!” Mare shouted at the insolent equine.
“I am not Supreme in any way!” Ainz mentally shouted.
=To his friends, of course.” The equine said, shifting its eyes to the Dark Elf boy.
“I have no clue how engaging in combat to spread the name of Ainz Ooal Gown would lead to unrecognizability, but thank you I guess.” Ainz said.
“What was the second?!” Gazef Stronoff asked, projecting his voice across the battlefield.
The equine looked over its right shoulder, =The Summoning Spell did not connect to Yggdrasil and would have worsened the cracks in reality itself that led to the Calamity Dragon Lord in the Tob Forest. The reason why you are unaware of this Dragon Lord is because Ainz and his Floor Guardians took care of it.=
----------If Acreus was in a divine punishment mood instead of a teaching mood-------------
An eldritch ball of darkness manifested above the newly dead Re-Estize army. But it had no chance to do anything before a golden flash of light seared into existence, utterly obliterating the ball and slamming both Ainz and Mare to the ground so hard they formed craters. Unseen by all, the sacrificed army drew breath once more and were teleported back to the rest of their nation’s forces.
“How dare that flash force Lord Ainz to kneel like this!” Mare mentally shouted as he struggled to even wiggle in place. “He is a Supreme Being, not a Lizardman!”
=The Only Supreme Being in this reality and all nearby is me.= Everyone’s eyesight returns to reveal a strange equine.
“Okay, while I agree with that. Could you let up the pressure?!” Ainz thought.
=I will, once you’ve learned your lesson!= the pressure doubled. =It’s called disciplinary action! Actual disciplinary action and not the lip service forniphilia!=
“There’s a fetish for using people as objects?” Ainz thought. “Of course there is, I am guildmates with Perocinno and his literal Eroge/Hentai Voice Actress elder sister.”
“What gave you the right to judge an Actual Supreme Being like this?!” Mare yelled, teeth gritted.
=Jaldaboath’s Demonic Disturbance, not vetoing Demiurge’s Worker Invasion plan, which directly led to all of this, and the very spell I interrupted.= the equine said. =You didn’t use [Fallen Down], [Nuclear Blast], or even [Pantheon] if you wanted to stick with Summoning. Not even any of your Create skills, like [Create Middle Undead] which allows you to make Death Knights and Death Warriors at will. Or [Summon Undead 10th].=
The pressure tripled. The battlefield erupted into muttering at the mention of the Demonic Disturbance and the rest. Far away, Gazef, Brain, and Climb, all narrowed their eyes at the craters. The Baruth army backed away from the craters.
=You just had to use the Lovecraft spell. Fine, you want to be foolish, then I will allow you to be a fool. A Harmless Fool to be exact.=
Surprisingly the pressure vanished allowing the two to stand up once more. Or at least Mare attempted to, his staff wouldn’t budget an inch, and all of his fingers were trapped underneath it. Only saved from being crushed by his Avarice and Generosity Gauntlet World Items.
“Lord Ainz, please help me. I can’t get up.” Mare cried out, tears flowing down his cheeks.
What scrambled over the crater was not the skeletal-like Overlord, but a black haired and eyed human man in his clothes. Mare flinched and tried to scurry away but was again stopped by his staff. The human stopped and glanced down at his hands before rubbing them viciously. At the deepest parts of Mare’s Soul, he somehow recognized this strange human.
“I understand why he didn’t tell anyone else of his true form.” Mare thought. “But why didn’t he tell me, Big Sis, or Aureole that he was a human? Or at least Sebas. Cocytus. Yuri, and the other Good NPCs? Did he not trust us?”
=Of course he did.= the equine said. =He trusted you to eviscerate him at your first convenience, which his species reveal would count as.=
“That’s not trust at all.” Mare’s tears shifted from pain to concern. The minuscule change in scent brought Ainz’ attention to Mare once more, and Lord Ainz slid down the crater wall.
“Is Momonga his original name or did he adopt that for his fellow Supreme Beings?” Mare thought. “Do the other Supreme Beings know that Lord Ainz is a human? If not, then he must have been so afraid to be constantly around human eaters, or far worse. Considering what NPCs I’ve encountered and their opinions.”
Lord Ainz walked up to Mare, kneeled down next to the boy’s hands.
“This will hurt. But I am going to push the staff off.” Lord Ainz said. “Do you trust me?”
Mare took a deep breath and nodded.
Lord Ainz quickly pushed off the staff after he assumed a near-90 degree angle to gain leverage. Both of them missed the small golden spark of light at the bottom of Mare’s staff.
==========
An: Shalltear is correct, Matt is not named after Matthew but instead Gymnastic Mats. Perhaps I should have named him Ken, after the male Barbie Doll, because so far Shalltear and Aura really like using the boy as a training doll/dummy. In universe/Watsonian, he is named Matt (Gift of Arceus).
Ugh, the mild temptation of making a story where Ainz did trust some of the Guardians with his origin. Or continuing the [reduced to human] blooper.

Chapter 2: The First Day.
Aura’s eyes snapped open as the sun peeked over the horizon. She wiggled out of the sleeping bag, she glanced around the tent. Shalltear’s dress was at its maximum poof radius, covering the boy and the dog. Shalltear smiled and stood up, as she walked over to the tent door, the two natives shivered as they were freshly exposed to the tent air. The Sylveon’s fur was distorted on her spine, showcasing the outline of Shalltear’s butt.
“Did you scout out the nearby area last night?” Aura asked.
Shalltear shook her head no.
“I didn’t want him to take advantage of you.” Shalltear explained. “Let alone any of the wild Pokemon I sensed outside.”
“Thanks.” Aura smiled and nodded.
Aura glanced over and down at the boy and dog, the latter of which still in a defensive stance. Aura’s eyes met Shalltear’s eyes.
“Considering they are doing that in their sleep, I figure that yesterday was enough to put the fear of Lord Ainz into them.” Aura said.
“You should keep a journal and keep track of your own feats. For when we inevitably deliver this world to the glory of Lord Ainz.” Shalltear said.
Aura blinked and went over her Inventory. While she did have numerous journals, they were all allotted to Aura’s actual beasts. Thus she had no free blank ones.
“We’re going to town to pick up supplies.” Aura decided. “On that matter, you should stay silent while in town and let them think you’re a Banette.”
Shalltear clicked her tongue. “Why bother with disguises when this world can’t even resist my completely non-serious brute force?”
“Yes, indeed. The Lap Dog tree of monsters can’t hold up against you.” Aura leaned forward. “Shall we see if this world has any Seraphim? Or End Game Dragons? Or Fae?”
Shalltear flinched at the reminder, she glanced down and frowned when she remembered that the boy wasn’t underneath her this time.
“Besides, we can tactically confuse our enemies on how I am commanding you so well.” Aura said, leaning back and held up a hand filled with an imaginary offering. “This will only be until you get pokemon of your own.”
“That better be soon, I don’t want to be type-casted as a silent Banette.” Shalltear rolled her eyes. “Okay, just for the look of sheer confusion when I do start speaking, I’ll do this hoax. So long as I can hold the node in this role.”
“Okay, just keep the bone breaking for the wilderness only.” Aura asked.
“Of course, I don’t want to get law enforcement involved.” Shalltear said. “Who knows if this world has an inferior copy of Lord Touch Me.”
Shalltear unzipped the tent and stepped outside, which let in the scents of morning dew, honey, and the Pokemon lingering just out of sight. Aura walked up next to her, placed her head over Shalltear’s right shoulder, and breathed in.
“There’s a river in that direction in a 5 second sprint of yours.” Aura pointed out. “It will be large enough to house high quality fish, crabs, and attract the larger land-based creatures.”
Shalltear smiled, saluted, and vanished into her speed.
……
Aura does a full inspection of Sylveon on top of Matt and drops Sylveon full weight onto Matt’s chest in the end. While Shalltear is out hunting pokemon to eat. She comes back with Magikarps and other weak fishes. The NPCs still can’t cook, thus another reason why Matt can’t be killed. Shalltear sends a purifying lance towards Acreus because she still can’t id any non-combatant thing. Smash cut to Arceus no-selling the lance like an hour later. Another lance is sent when she finds out that no cooking still applies. Again arceus no sells but this time is in a meeting with the other legendaries.
…..
If you don’t cook for us, then we will resort to eating strips of your flesh and then using a healing spell to reset your body. Shalltear said with half lidded eyes, Human flesh doesn’t obey that pesky cooking requirement.
-----------
“If you don’t stay in your ball, then I will let Shalltear…” Aura said.
“Masturbate with your owner’s guts.” Shalltear offered.
-------------
Shalltear, Aura, and the node walked past a wooden wall and beheld a bustling tent town. Shalltear’s left arm was curled around the boy’s waist and she forced him to lean his head against her shoulder. Compliments flowed onto them like Lord Ainz’ mercy and wrath. Aura smiled and waved at the crowd that the presumed Banette drew, combined with being on the main road of the town.
Gray skinned men with red lines on their muscles carried lumber and other heavy materials. Red furred canines the size of Shalltear’s Vampire Wolves blew thin streams of fire as they welded structural supports together. A black and yellow furred lion-like creature rumbled as little sparks of lightning leaped from its cheeks and down copper wires.
“What are they using that lightning beast for?” Aura thought as she walked past and turned her head to continue viewing. “I will ask the boy later, after our tasks are done.”
But the place they were looking for was directly ahead, a human woman with pink hair tied into twin regal ringlets that reached her shoulders sat in a stall. On either side of her was a human sized pink egg with a frontal pouch that stored a regular sized egg, the other side had a pink and cream colored rabbit thing, the egg thing held its hands above an injured frost moth looking thing. The Egg’s hands glowed green as the frost moth’s wounds stitched themselves together. Nearby was a woman with a large bipedal hedgehog with fire coming out of its back.
In front of the pink haired human was a strange machine with six sockets on the top.
“Hello, I’m Nurse Joy of Miriso Harbor.” The woman beamed. “Would you like to try the Rejuvenator or would you prefer the traditional treatment?”
Nurse Joy blinked as she registered the presence of Shalltear and Aura.
“Are you a Faller?” Nurse Joy asked. “By which I mean, are you from that other world? It’s amazing that you’ve already got a Banette, and one so stylish. While the color scheme is off, the feel is nearly identical to other Banettes.”
Aura smiled and nodded as Shalltear tightened her grip around the boy. Only Aura and Shalltear heard the boy’s spine creak and groan. Shalltear used her free hand and forced the boy to press his face into her shoulder, hiding his pained expression. Shalltear then used that hand to rub his head, which caused the frost moth’s owner to coo as the Eg-Chansey returned the healed beast.
“Yes, I am Aura Bella Fiore, the Guardian of the Sixth Floor. I come from the Great Tomb of Nazarick, though I do recognize that name is currently worthless here.” Aura said.
Nurse Joy waved away Aura’s concerns.
“Oh don’t worry about name recognition, considering you’re from that other world, you might need to have Banette beat back reporters and other sensationalists.” Nurse Joy said.
Aura and Shalltear blinked.
“Well anyways,” Aura said while grabbing Sylveon’s Pokeball. “I am Nazarick’s Beast Tamer and have access to healing abilities. But I just want to make sure that Sylveon is fully healed from Shalltear’s rough housing.”
“He did pay the defeat fee, correct?” Nurse Joy said, glaring at the boy. “If not, he is subject to several days of community service.”
All three of them nodded, unfortunately Nurse Joy did not catch the fear in the node’s movements.
Nurse Joy smiled as she took hold of the Pokeball, a blue energy rippled across the ball from her lower palm. Sylveon gave off a teal pulse in response.
“You are in luck, little lady,” Nurse Joy said, handing back the Pokeball. “Your abilities have fully healed Sylveon, if you need anything else you can head to the town hall which is the red tent down the left street before the next intersection.”
Aura smiled and waved goodbye as she took Sylveon’s pokeball back.
--------
The trio goes to the town hall tent for resumes or something -> office drone assumes Shalltear is a Banette (because of Jphensdor) -> thinks that Aura is Shalltear's owner. and that Aura is following Plasma's wake. -> another office drone interrupts with a more proper name for the movement that isn't linked to terrorist -> office drone 1 ignores the second and states the fact that pokeballs prevent others from capturing your registered pokemon -> tells them that the pokemart tent is across the street ->Shalltear bullies Matt into buying her a Luxury Ball (highest grade currently in stock). can't use an Ultra cuz the last one was picked up as they entered that aisle. -> Shalltear didn't want to provoke any Touch Me-like law enforcement. Hence she settled on the Luxury ball.
In another aisle they see Pokedexs/Rotom Phones for sale, but Matt futilely tries to push them away from his replacement upgrades. Alas they deduce what the aisle sells from the amount of fear pheromones he makes. Either Aura joins Matt in pushing Shalltear past the aisle, or Aura pushes Matt into the aisle before she tells him to pick one so he can keep up to date with the information. Probably the first with Shalltear making a mental note to rob the place during nighttime in her platinum princess disguise. Either those or the last one gets purchased while they are debating.
The luxury ball first feels like the abandonment of the Supreme Beings, then the crushing reality of entropy/time, and then the comforting grasp of Ainz after Shalltear was revived. Then it started massaging her.
One thing the trio sees is a Machamp assembling a Skyscraper or other large building by himself. Welding with Fire Punch/other utilities with other punches,

Day 1.
Hi Lord Ainz, I was recommended by Shalltear to start this journal. Just to recap, or in case you read mine first, here’s how day 0 went. Arceus’ portal left us above a forest clearing and not even a single minute passed before we met a native. A boy around my age who quickly jerked us into battle under the mistaken belief that Shalltear was a Banette or a Gothielle. As I have yet to meet such pokemon, I can not say how well Matt’s lap dog would have fared against them.
Shalltear made quick work of the Eevee (the specific breed of lapdog he used), and then shattered the boy’s elbow. Which caused the neutral aligned Eevee to spontaneously mutate into the Holy Aligned Sylveon, which had the passive ability of converting all Neutral Skills and Spells into Holy. Such as [Quick Attack] a speed burst-type attack, which allowed the lap dog to briefly match Shalltear’s speed. Once the speed boost ended, Shalltear simply broke the front left leg of the dog.
The boy removed the dog from the battlefield, tossed some paper money at me, and failed to get past a tree before Shalltear caught him. While I was successfully able to stop Shalltear from killing the boy, I forgot to lean on prior allowances of Lord Ainz. Such as Cocytus’ Lizardmen, Sebas’ Tsuare, Demiurge’s Happy Farm, Entoma’s Revenge, or Mare’s freed slaves. Instead I used the logic of treating the boy like a resource node.
And that we would fall behind, and thus disappoint you Lord Ainz, if we killed the boy. Especially considering that he comes from a family of Pokemon Breeders.
Admittedly both the boy and dog absolutely hate our guts, possibly even rivaling the Hatred of Ningun, because Shalltear basically broke every bone in his body and I broke his nose. But he is alive to hate us now and into the future. The dog in sheer concern for her master was able to breach her confinement ball and futilely stand against us.
I used one of my Beast Master Skills to heal her leg, which she used to deepen her stance. But before we could go in depth with the boy’s interrogation, I saw that it was sunset behind the trees, and followed your Commandment of Rest, Lord Ainz.
Thus this morning I did a full inspection of Sylveon. She weighed a modest 34.1 kilos, her leg healed nicely, though I did get a second confirmation from a healer native. Sylveon is of breeding age and is fertile, with no parasites nor illnesses. Her hatred of us still flowed easily. Her combat-energy was refilled and ready to fight. Her muscles are thick, particularly in her legs and neck. So even if we had access to anti-magic (and if it applied to this beast) then her ribbons would still be mobile.
At the end of her ribbons are dimples, supposedly to help focus Holy Energy (in this world called Fairy Type) to connect with her owner.
Afterwards I convinced Shalltear to pose as a Banette via staying silent while we are in Native communities. Just so we can keep her opponents guessing on how I am commanding her so well. At least until we get some Pokemon for her own.
The native community we chose for today was a harbor called Miriso, numerous beasts helped in construction. Geomancer-types laid foundations as physical brawn-types moved cartloads of materials with their bare hands, pyromancers fused metals into place. I saw at least 5 food-stalls with some type of fire beast cooking the food.
Did you know that lightning can course through metal? Because I saw several lightning beasts spawn their attacks down copper wires and entire buildings lit up. Though these lightning beasts were rare because this was primarily a tent town.
=========
An:why did I write another day 0 recap? Simple, I wanted to convey the differences in what Aura prioritizes and conveys information. Poor Matt, only himself and Sylveon care for the boy.
=====================
Somewhen, perhaps in ch2, Shalltear must sit on Matt’s lap and completely cover him to the point where all passerby don’t know. Even if they come up and pet the Banette. Shalltear pulled Aura onto her lap just to increase the weight and her disguise.
In ch1, Shalltear fights a Eevee that evolves into Sylveon (the fairy type eeveelution). Said efforts of actually tangibly stall/fighting her convinces her (and allows her to convince Satoru) to keep the eeveelution/trainer alive to travel with/grind on him. That and to get all of his loot if he dies instead of the partial loot as defeat reward.
Or Acrues interrupts the splat and punishes Ainz by taking away shalltear. Or Shalltear and Aura trip into the natural gates in the lava zone/the landscape WCI glitches to teleport them.
Overlord’s damage/level caps get translated into Type Affinity as Ghost and/or Dark.
Pokemon potential fighting ability: An incredibly short video detailing Pokédex War Crimes
The Pokemon list will expand later. General knowledge: the pokemon the trio encounters will have all of their abilities and hidden abilities at the same time. It is a trait of the Degurechaff region.

"You will see more of it later on our progress." Expect that will be seen sooner or later once they progress after leaving the first floor. Second floor of the Grave is now seen some kind of a vault chamber. Of course, this is where Shalltear takes surveillance on her floor surroundings. The bridge that's broken down leading to the second floor was already passed that time with no casualties.
This is where the vampire comes out, knowing why they were here.
"I think you should owe me an explanation of why are you here in my floors." Guarded by her vampiric brides, were on stance prepared to kill. Shalltear won't harm but she will if one made a very wrong move.
"I can't use the ring, so i had to take them to Lord Ainz by foot. I had no other choice." Knowing how the ring works, only herself will be teleported and not the guests she had to bring with. "Are there any safe routes that leads to the fourth floor without ending up at the Black Capsule?" Does she have any other choice, she's not Aureole Omega. Shalltear had no choice as well but to let them pass or she will incur Ainz' wrath one more time. "There is a passage there. Just don't enter to any of the doors. Those will lead you to the Black Capsule, so move along." Shalltear returns back to her adobe after, waiting for Ainz' orders. With no harm on their side, leads to the fourth floor after following what the vampire said.
They reached the Underground Lake where Gargantua was sleeping.
"This is the Underground Cave, Gargantua lies there in peace until awakened. For now, it remains asleep until Lord Ainz' command. Now we proceed to the Fifth Floor." Christoper Olson and his mercenaries are indeed amazed of how this place worked. As they reached the Fifth Floor, it was like entering a snowy field that she had to use Hermes Trismegistus in this one.
"If those wondering, this is where Cocytus and my sister lives. Perhaps meeting him will suffice." Albedo heads first to the snow.
From above ground, it appeared humble — a setting ideal for historians to stumble upon ruins of an age gone by. Nobody could have anticipated that the structures might be the very tip of an unimaginable iceberg — even after all she'd been told of the Tomb, Mashu didn't know what to expect. For that reason, and knowing well Nazarick's order not to be much of fans towards humans, the Demi-Servant kept pace with Albedo, wary that even the smallest mistake might lead to misadventure.
The feeling in her chest grew tight, almost suffocating — it wasn't unlike traversing the nightmarish labyrinth to reach Gorgon in Babylon's churning underbelly. A sense in sync with the weight of the air itself that gave plenty warning this Shalltear harboured particularly strong feelings, and under no circumstance should she be challenged should she be encountered. The dread that there might be any visual indicators sent a chill down the girl's spine and hitched her breathing.
But to falter right after stepping in the door would be a disservice to humanity and to Chaldea — under their banner, she had engaged all sorts of ghoulish monster and nightmarish sights both in land and great adversarial shape. This might not have been Earth, but she had wandered solo and survived by the power granted to her — and she would do so again. Not to mention Albedo was here and her authority would supersede that of the other guardians, at least Mashu presumed that to be the case.
"From everything you've said and shown me, I have to wonder just how vast Nazarick is — and with this being just the beginning. Its creation must have been an enormous feat all by itself".

What about headcannons when in a relationship with Skeleton Daddy and Albedo (seperated) ✨✨🥺
my first overlord request 😳 It took me a while cause I couldn’t think of anything for Albedo at the time.
I am SO sorry I took so damn long 😓

Ainz is a bit of a unpredictable one(not really) when it comes to being apart of a relationship.
It really depends on the significant other on how he’ll behave.
If your an npc that was created by him or perhaps his guild friends. He’s gonna feel shameful.
At first, he sees your flustered demeanor and small flirting as admiration for him. The Floor Guardians compliment him all the time, so he takes your light flirting as a token of praise that he’s just used to. You’re gonna have to be pretty bold in order to get his attention.
If you’re dating him as the mysterious black knight in armor, Momonga, then it’s…a little complicated. Originally, he was only dating you to get intel on the world him and the floor guardians ended up in. But then his cold unfeeling heart suddenly felt something for the first time when he started thinking about you
He started feeling…things. He suddenly had this protective instinct whenever the mention of your name came up.
He brushed it off as his way of thinking of recruiting you into becoming apart of Nazarick Perhaps maybe your abilities may have some use to him in the long run…
Or perhaps he wanted to keep you close to him. He knew how brutal and cruel this fantasy world was. He’s met temporary companions and good hearted people, only for them to die the next day. But, he didn’t feel anything when they died. But you, he’d actually feel…guilt, if that were to happen to you
He keeps tabs on you. No exceptions. Albedo will be crazed with jealousy, definitely. So it might be best if you don’t meet her by yourself 😳 bring Lord Ainz or one of the floor guardians with you at all times
When you’re finally official, he’ll have you dressed as his queen. You find him seeking out your opinions and point of view a lot more than you realize.
He’s found himself to be a giver rather then a receiver. He’s already so used to being praised by his floor guardians and being feared by others below him. It’s tiring. He wants to pamper, praise his queen and be the one to kneel for once.
Although it’s hard to get used to Ainz giving orders and then praising you the next minute as he caresses the skin on your body. You would be lying if you said it didn’t turn you on…
Ainz is very gentle with you. He knows how powerful he is. He thinks he might break you if not careful. Quick gentle touches and sweet praises in your ear from behind are his love language.
Albedo is a wildcard.
Although she’s was programmed into falling in love with Lord Ainz, she’s felt a tight feeling in her chest as of recently.
A warmth feeling of care and affection would show up whenever she saw you.
She’s honestly confused how she feels the exact same way of love and admiration for you as she does with her Lord. It’s almost gonna tear her apart!
Did you hex her or gave her some sort of love potion? Yes, that must be it! How else can she find her mind wander about you instead her supreme lord!!! (You live in her mind rent free lol)
You have to be a patient with her as she will jump to all the wrong conclusions.
But as she listens and continues to talk with you, it all makes sense to her and she found herself wanting to know more..
She loves the long conversations that last till midnight with you. She never thought she see herself laughing and giggling so much from just spending time with you.
She loves your calm presence. You’re the only few in her eyes that makes any sense in this castle. Besides Lord Ainz of course.
You make her feel comfortable and relaxed. You make her almost forget about her duties as a floor guardian. Almost.
She was so relaxed that she took a nap and laid her head on your lap. You were scared about even moving just a small bit and worried she’ll wake up and try to kill you.
But to your shocked, she didn’t.
She rose her head up slowly, stared into your eyes, and thanked you for letting her rest up on you. Before you could even reply back, she nuzzled her face into your right cheek softly, grazing her lips around the shell of your ear before pulling back with a sly smile…
Was she trying to kiss me..?
Albedo was actually a little shy when it came to soft intimacy.
Nuzzles and nose kisses were first base with you two love birdies <3
You didn’t mind slowing down for her. You thought it was cute if anything. You enjoy spontaneously kissing her lips and seeing her reaction be a mixture of blushing nervousness to giggly high school girl. It never got old.
Once she got used to the random spontaneous kisses from you. She decided to turn the tables on you for once and wanted to do the same
She’d kiss the back of neck as you were busy with cleaning up the main floor and smacked your ass for good measure to keep you in line. Now whose the one blushing now hmm??
Albedo’s love language is just 1-upping each other to see who blushes the most and who gets to pegged at the end. Amazing 😮💨
Not so amazing if you’re the other floor guardians who have to see you two being lovey-dovey with each other haha
Ainz doesn’t care. He’s secretly rooting tho and likes to see you two be happy. 🫶

Is a drabble of yandere dmi okie then? Or nu?
A/N: Yeah! It's totally fine~!

He couldn't understand why he couldn't be with her.
Yes, he had so much he had to do, but it wasn't as though his time was readily available for her.
If she needed an extra person for that mission, he could easily be her bodyguard. Of course he wasn't as strong as her, but he would do his absolute best to protect her anyways—lay his life down for her.
“Another mission where I have to be absent, and it's Sebas who gets to join her,” he growled to himself.
Slamming down the butcher's knife, his tail flicked back and forth in bubbling anger that was hard to ignore.
In the fit of cutting up another 'sheep' to use for food at his farm, all the devil could do was imagine it was Sebas there underneath the blade. Very rarely did he ever let his emotions get the better of him in this situation, but he couldn't help it.
An incoming [Message] threw Demiurge off guard, causing him to stall in what he was doing the moment he recognized the voice as hers.
“My Lady? How can I assist you?”
[Demiurge, I was wondering if you could set aside a few spell scrolls for me when I plan to go out on my next errand for Lord Ainz.]
He chewed his lower lip, wondering if he should ask.
His curiosity got the better of him. “Who is going with you, my Lady? You need a guard with you at all times.” Even if she was a Supreme Being, she had lost a few levels recently having been revived from an attack none saw coming.
[I know, silly. Sebas or Yuri will probably be going with me.]
Demiurge huffed his frustrations through his nostrils as his blooded hands moved his thumb over the knife in his possession.
“My Lady, may I ask for you to visit my farm for a moment?” Demiurge wasn't sure what was rushing through his own mind, but several chaotic thoughts were leaving him winded—unable to think. It would be the first time in awhile that were to be the case.
[Oh? Me? Is it important?]
“Yes, it does require immediate attention. If you'd be so kind, of course.”
Demiurge was lying. He knew if he said it wasn't, he probably would never see her before him. At least, not for several days depending on this new quest she would be on.
[Alright. I'll be there momentarily. I have to relay information to Lord Ainz first.]
“Of course, my Lady.” Ending the [Message], he looked over the blooded butcher's knife once more before slamming it back down into the targeted corpse he had been chopping away at.
It took no time at all for her to [Teleport] outside of the ranch's borders. She knew Demiurge used it for these 'bipedal sheep', but that was the gist of it.
For whatever reason, the place smelled foul. She did her best to be kind as she joined Demiurge in the main building that was his office.
Upon entering, she felt a bit uneasy when doing so. There was only one light source, and it was the devil that was blocking it, giving an ominous atmosphere to the building.
She always did feel a bit unsettled with Demiurge having come to life. She knew everything Ulbert put into his creation, and it was a reason she went out of her way at times to avoid him. Unless it was urgent.
“I came as soon as I could, Demiurge. So what seems to be the problem?”
Demiurge turned, offering a smile that was covered in blood. “My Lady, it is wonderful to see you.”
She bit back the sound she wished to make. “Oh, umm... You have a bit of blood on your face.”
Demiurge dug into his breast pocket, taking his handkerchief and wiping it away. “Forgive me. I didn't realize that was still there. Now then, I was wondering if you could check something for me while you're here, my Lady.”
“And what is that?”
He motioned for her to follow him into the next room where a giant cage laid in wait. “You see, these 'sheep' of mine are paired with demi-humans on occasion. Just to see if other scrolls can be put into the mix.” He made it up to the cage, opening the door. “I wanted to be certain that it is impossible for a strong entity to make it through these bars with the right enchantment.”
There was something buzzing in his tone that was making her hair stand on end. It was so unsettling. “O-Okay then...”
Stepping towards the cage, Demiurge shut the door behind her. With a special incantation he had acquired, he watched as the entire cage seemed to glow. Giant, magical chains latched onto the cage, showing the lock was sealed before it disappeared.
“Alright, now try everything you can to get out.”
She took in a deep breath and used her weaker spells first. Nothing seemed to come of it, allowing her to go up the tier list to find if anything would put a dint in this.
Nothing.
A lot of her higher spells were locked as of late, since she lost the levels in which she could use them.
“I would say demi-humans can't do tier spells beyond level 5 or so. Wouldn't you agree, Demiurge?” She was doing her best not to show her discomfort in the situation. “Well, I would say it's functional. Your ranch should be fine now. So please, let me out.”
“But you can be here with me, my Lady,” Demiurge insisted. “Wouldn't that be better than running all over this world with only a few weaker, unintelligent beings of Nazarick to assist you?”
Now the tone was far more darker than before. It made her step back in the cage she found herself within. “D-Demiurge, release me this instant...!”
The devil shook his head with a sigh. “So you still don't understand what I'm trying to do for you—for us.” He moved closer, reaching through the bars to try and touch her face. “It can just be you and me—!”
Slapping away his hand, she gave a rather furious expression at his behavior.
Demiurge retreated his hand from the cage, rubbing it as it only pained him a little bit. “I see then...” He sounded displeased; hurt even. “Perhaps if you stay here for a moment, you can rethink your viewpoints where we're concerned, my Lady.”

Great Tomb of Nazarick
*The elder lich was sitting on his throne hearing the sounds of screams and combat waiting on whatever was attacking his home as he was annoyed someone had the gall to invade his home he made and built with his friends and his allies.*
*Albedo meanwhile Was sitting in his lap giggling happy at the idea of a battle.*
"It seems you might have a challenge for once my lord!"
*as soon as she said that the door was torn open by a punch reveling a slightly overweight woman who was a bit annoyed and seemingly mad.*
"Which one of you is the lord of the tomb?"
*her tone indicating she was just annoyed with everything in the tomb.*
*Abledo jumped to her feet Infront of the throne to yell at the other woman.*
"You dare speak to Lord Ooal Gown that way fa--"
*she was shut up by Ainz holding up his hand to lightly chastise her*
"Now is that anyway to greet a guest?"
*Abledo slucked off a bit in shame as ainz got up and sensing his foes magic might put up several buffing spells which included Great Magic Shield, Greater Luck, Infinity Wall, Life Essence and Magic Boost.*
"You done? I've been hearing you've been attacking and killing everyone else and with the Jarls up my butt I'm here to make sure you stop. So surrender. Or die."
*Ainz pointed a finger with his free hand while held his staff after summoning it to his hand.*
"That so? Here's my response. THUNDERLANCE!"
*a lighting bolt flew through the air like a Lance from a pro javlien thrower to which the dragon simply got hit by it. Suffering no damage she brushed her shirt off and raised an eyebrow before waving her hand with zero care.*
"Storm swipe."
*The lighting claw swipes flew through the air nearly sending albedo flying as she almost got hit by it but the Shockwave from the explosion sent her skidding across the floor as the woman soon disappeared and reappeared behind the skeleton.*
"Goodbye."
*with a backhand she sent the litch soaring through the door she just broke splintering the remains of it as she then turned to his assistant.*
"You're next."
*She then turned to walk down the hallway to see that all she had done was scuff her foes collar and tear his robe showing off his skeletal frame under his shirt and robe.*
"Hmmm you have some rather basic rudermenteray magic. But your strength tells me you could be a Melle fighter."
*He soon casted Perfect Warrior on himself and replaced his staff with a sword and shield only to watch Throendressa do something similar pulling out a large one handed sword that was surely a two handed claymore. She then used some mirror magic to make a small round circular plane of magic that looked like a perfectly clean mirror.*
"Melle range magic. Who said I was limited? You however."
*as Ainz took his time to charge and swing in wide 180 degree arcs but unfortunately for the elder litch she would either parry her swings with her own alchemist made blade or her shield nearly knocking him back.*
"I take it you're not a death lord."
*Ainz blinked.*
"I AM a lord of death!"
*Throendressa nodded and then held her claymore up with both hands swinging dowards.*
"Then you'll survive this."
*far too slow to dodge his sword and shield were both snapped in two as he went flying through every single floor of the great tomb leaving a gaint crater with a somehow still alive Ooal.*
"You..You'd dare damage my home! You had sulled the holy lands I built with my comrades! My friends!"
*unamused Throendressa shot out several arrows from her bow as Ainz pulled out a pair of swords he used back when he was Momonga the Knight and used Greater Strength to boost his powers as he started swinging around at high power to snap all the arrows from her bow no matter the material as he jumped up the dragon jumped back having barely enough time to double her size as a hybrid to have her grow scales to better block the hit as she held up her own swords with soon hit full force sending her further upwards into the air.*
*He yelled*
"You fail to grasp that despite my skills with a sword I'm a magic caster above all else!"
"Maximize Magic! Super Teir Magic!"
*as Throendressa hit the edge of a dome that seemed to be a blueish hue of magic and glyphs as Ainz soon finished his incantations he yelled.*
"FALLLEN DOWNNN!!!"
*a massive pillar of white hot fire soon came from the heaven's and crashed into the dragon with enough force to send her crashing into the tomb breaking and burning each floor till she slammed into the ground floor going into the dirt leaving a large hole. Ainz of course got closer to the hole to check if he killed her.*
"Idoit."
*soon a large clawed hand gripped him tightly she started slamming him into the ground repeatedly*
*she soon threw him into a nearby wall making her slowly grow and loosen her human disguise as she got up her own burning purple dragon breath melting the only Melle weapons left and as Ainz got put some raggedy brown cloaks seeing the incoming fireball breathed at him as he yelled.*
"I think not! Maximize Defense!"
*as soon as he said that the purple fireball soon burned his robes away once again reducing him to just his pants. He waved his hands in pain as the heat was melting his collar and all his jewelry to just a pile of molten metal*
*hoping to get away he looked up and says*
"Third tier magic! Dimensional move"
*he was soon above her making a small sun to stop her*
"Third tier magic! Sunlight!"
*the dragon who was roughly a hundred foot long now she simply ate the magic sun putting it out near instantly as she looked at him*
"Never met a purple dragon? Good."
*Ainz grumbled in how this was aggravating to him as he was having to pull out his trump cards holding his hands up*
"Tenth tier magic Timestop!"
*the dragon was frozen in place as he then used a new spell*
"Delay magic."
*he then used his time spell to set up a delayed combination of his strongest spells.*
“Ninth Tier Magic: True Death”
“Ninth Tier Magic: Vermillion Nova”
*with that he teleported away of the blast range as the explosion was so strong and bright even ainz had to look away to shield his vision and his footing.*
"Its..over."
*only for a purple dragon bigger bulkier and longer then any he had heard of to erupt from the area and roar.*
"THAT IS ENOUGH!"
*visibly distrusted by the resulting dragon appearing out of nowhere he looked up*
"I see this is your true form--"
*he quickly dodged when the dragon queen blasted the area he was in repeatedly changing elements. Being earth fire water ice air lighting even holy and darkness magic.*
"HOLD STILL YOU LITTLE SHIT"
*Ainz realizing the scope of the danger he used his ultimate spell.*
"THE GOAL OF ALL LIFE IS DEATH!"
*a golden clock soon appeared behind him as he soon yelled out*
"WIDEN MAGIC THE SCREAM OF THE BANCHEE!"
*not liking the sound of what she heard she took her chances and swung her tail hitting Ainz with his maximum defense on. While she splintered and cracked most of his bones she didn't kill him. As he went soaring through the sky Throendressa soared higher then Ainz flew upwards as he was counting from 12*
"11....10...9...8..7...6...5.."
*she flew higher and higher*
"4...3...2...1..."
*the clock struck twelve! Souls died! The air died! Everything and anything died in the range as Ainz looked around seeing he was in an empty field. Seeing nothing in the tomb as he fell into the ground floor their fight obliterating every floor. Thankfully his allies were alive.*
"Foolish dragon..."
"PERISH! PERISH AND SCREAM!"
*Ainz soon fell on his ass in suprise and fear as he saw Thornedressa turning a dark ebony black darker then nights or the pits of his tomb he saw that she had survived by turning smaller and she had unbeknownst to him used her mirror magic to get to a scroll she had in her torn armour which was a runestone holding Dimension magic. Essentially avoiding the spell by jumping into a wormhole to evade Ainz*
*the last thing the Great Tomb of Nazarick saw was a pillar of pure purple magic Ather mixed with its lighter Eather the resulting spell hit everything and everyone atomizing the whole guild destroying everyone with a spell not even her study Husband or her Nigh-unkillable son could survive as everyone's souls and bodies along with minds were reduced to nothingness as the air seemed to hold still seemingly out of fear as nothing remained like Noone even existed as the dragon soon shrunk down to her hybrid form looking around slowly turning human again as she slowly putting her armour back on covering her body up as she groaned.*
"Almost had me you bastard."
WINNER THROENDRESSA
to complete the whole Sigfrid family set this next one is gonna be Paradox's mom.
JUST CAUSE IM A MAGE DOSENT MEAN IM A WIMP!
AINZ OOAL GOWN VS THORENDRESSA
Ainz Ooal Gown info:
Height: 7 foot 2
Weight: 124lbs
Weapons: Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, Dual Greatswords, Sword and Shield, Magic
Strengths: Is the main character and the most powerful being in the Overlord universe, Immense strength (Manhandles anyone who challenges him, Threw a Dragon multiple times his own size, Wields his Dual Greatswords as if they were weightless, Pierced through Adamantine with Clementines Stilettos), Immense durability (Ainz has contemplated that each of his bones are stronger than steel, A Minion of his with the same damage reducing ability as Ainz survived a 3000 foot fall unharmed, No selled a barrage of attacks from Gu who could level a castle wall with a punch, Was unharmed by Clementine stabbing him through his eye sockets, Is even more durable with his Knights Armour), Supersonic speed (Is on par with the likes of Albedo in speed), Is a Master of both Magical and close quarters combat, Possesses a multitude of passive effects that aid him in battle (E.g. High chance to cause Panic/Confusion/Insanity/Instant Death in his enemies), Can sense other Undead Beings, Can freeze an enemy in place with a Time Stop Spell.
Weaknesses: As an Undead Ainz is weak to Holy and Fire attacks, Because of his Class restrictions Ainz cannot equip most Weapons and Armour available in his world, His most powerful Spell has a 100 hour cooldown, Cannot harm those trapped in his Time Stop Spell.
Thornendressa info
Height:6 foot (Human form) 12 foot (hybrid form) 13000 feet (Dragon form)
Weapons:teeth,claws,magic,Alchemist blade,Dawnsetter,dragonbone bow.
Strengths:as the mother of Paradox and his sister Whiteraven she's the one who taught them both magic and ranged combat. But she's by no mean a pushover. Demigod Strength(as a part god dragon she's much stronger then most others of her race. Strong enough to hurt gaints and titans once over powered a hecrotonceris which are mountain sized monster with 100 arms and turn mountains into piles of throwing pebbles. Easily overpowered gaints who threw mountains at her.) Demigod durability(as a part god dragon with magic coated scales she's impervious to most magic and weapon. The Ebony warriors who hunt dragons for a living and use dark magic to harm dragons barely hurt her. No selled Tsugus Demon Ice Molding Magic and Steel Dragon Slayer Magic both of which were created SPECIFICALLY TO KILL DRAGONS AND DEMONS.) Suprising speed (Despite being out of shape and past her prime she's still faster then most dragons and can out run her daughter who regularly deflects attacks from a man who can manipulate lighting and light.) Is a genius in magic and archery. Is a Suprising master in hunting monsters. Her dawnsetter and alchemist blades are created by her to kill monsters and the undead showing skills in enchantments and alchemy. Her bow being made of dragonbone is stronger then ebony bows which are nigh impervious to blades and magic. Her arrows are poisoned with dragon Silvia which is the 3rd most toxic thing in the realms and can hurt Paradox who can power through pretty much anything. As a purple dragon using Mirror and archive magic she can seal things and people away and reflect magic on top of using any basic magic that she has fought she can even use multiple breath attacks due to her time of eating monsters.
Weaknesses:as a purple dragon her powers are affected by her mood. The happier she gets the stronger her healing becomes. But if she gets angry enough her powers become pure Ather which means she can do nothing but destruction. While she can teleport through reflections it takes connection also she's put of shape far past her prime and she's the slowest of the family.

after you posted that pandoras actor post i cant stop thinking about supreme being!reader who seems very quiet and collected, and they get asked like "what… do you see in pandoras actor????" and they just go full Jessica Rabbit mode and say "He makes me laugh." (this isnt a request unless you want it to be, this is just a random idea i liked btw) I imagine having someone like Pandora's Actor could refreshing ???????? because everything else that happens with Ainz is too intense. Sometimes you need some cringe in your life. Its good for your soul. Maybe smooch it even.
I still have PTSD from my Creepypasta phase, Hetalia phase, and my edgy/emo/"depressed" phase all together. Every single day I think about it, I curl up in cringe and wish I never remember it in my life.
BUT ANYWAYS
Y E S
I personally see (and hope that everyone sees) that PA is honestly a refresher, because honestly, he seems more... human like than anybody else ironically. He doesn't necessary follows orders without any questions, as he is willing to question orders if needed - but also like, EMBARRASS AINZ BECAUSE HE WAS BUILT LIKE THAT, DESPITE BEING MONSTERS.
I also see that PA is like... an embarrassing remainder of Ainz's more human side. Despite all the exterior of being the wise, powerful, monstrous, all knowing being, it's nice to being smooch by humanity a bit. Just to take a break from the position he's in forcefully. Away from Albedo, away from Shalltear, away from Demiurge, away from everybody that sees him differently. He just want to be known as Momonga, not Ainz Ooal Gown.
10/10 recommend 2 hours under PA's bubble to feel human again with a smooch and a constant reminder of your cringey moments.
I'm also going to flesh this idea out more, sorry this came out shitty qwq
"U-uhm, pr-pretty lady?"
"Hm?"
The date was unknown during the time when that child asked... everything was fuzzy when you tried to remember that memory. All you remember was the warmth it gave you when you remembered that child. The warmth of feeling human again...
That child was playing with your hair, no, attaching flowers in your hair when they asked. You were surprised when that child didn't fear you when the two of you met. You were an arachne, half spider half human, and still no fear were sensed. That child intrigued you heavily to the point where it became a daily thing to visit them... during the day? No... Night time... It was night time you always come visit. They... They lived in a village where the population wasn't that much, but big enough where... large farms... existed.
"Why do you feel happy when you talk.... P-pandora A-actor?" Your lower body's fangs clicked quietly, almost as it was a laugh when you were questioned about that. A pure soul...
"Well, he makes me laugh... Of course, he also reminds me too much of my... old... friends..." You dabbled on. "He makes me feel like a human. Honestly a breather from my duties as a supreme leader, despite cringing on my friend's creation." The concept of time would seem to not exist when you dabbled on about him while the child would play with your hair.
"One day..." You chattered on, "One day you will get the chance to see him..." The hands on your hair seems to ghost on you once you snap back to reality.
The grass tumbles and tussles against the cold night air. You couldn't see how dark or light the night is due to your blindness, but on instinct you could tell it was dark. You clicked softly, frowning at your own hopefulness. You were alone where a village once known to exist where gone, yet still here you are still at the same spot where the two of you met. In your hands was a messily drawn image of him, though it was slightly crumpled through your reminisce.
"I promised you that you would see him one day..." You said quietly. The grass continued to tussle and tumble in the wind, almost like a quiet melody to hide the silence in the village. "... I'm sorry if the drawing is bad because of my distraction, I can redraw it again when I come visit you one day..."
The pile of stones with many small gifts seems to beg to differ though...

Can I request some headcannons between Naofumi and the other protagonists of Isekai Quartet?
Sure thing!
I personally see Naofumi relationship with the main quartet to not be as close as they are with each other. Since he's still relatively new around (and his trust issues) Naofumi prefers to be more on his own.
That being said, it didn't stop Subaru from being the first one to try to befriend the shield hero. Subaru can always tell when someone is troubled, but Naofumi is still wary of him.
Kazuma, on the other hand, definitely isn't approaching Naofumi anytime soon. The shield hero only sees Kazuma as a annoying pervy brat, but he's definitely the one he needs to be less concerned about.
Naofumi, upon seeing Ainz, was of course kinda scared by his undead appearance, even after realizing how polite Ainz is, he's still very suspicious. Although he swears he heard Ainz talking about a mmorpg once...
One might expect Naofumi to be wary of Tanya too, after all she is a little girl with a whole battalion under her, but Naofumi can't help but see her just a child. If anything, he thinks she would be a great friend to Filo!
Bonus: Naofumi actually became really good friends with Seiya! And they, surprisingly, hang out together alot!

The Devil’s Advocate
Chapter six: Stones to Cast
Link:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23402635/chapters/84055423
————
“You’re late!” The guardian of the first several floors of Nazarick hissed at her inferior, who was gliding into the stone room from a shadowed doorway. The dark-haired target cringed in fear at the words, bowing her head while eyes widened in understanding of why she had been summoned to the True Vampire’s presence.
“M-my apologies, Lady Shalltear,” the vampire bride responded. “Forgive me for my—”
“Ah-ah! Don’t even ask, I don’t want to hear it!” Shalltear snarled. “Return to your post and tell your replacement to assist the third floor guard as support instead of relieving you; apparently you need a lesson in devotion to your duties! Now get out of my sight!”
The creature in white bowed, backing away as quick as she could, obviously glad this was the only punishment doled out. The mistakes of her fellows as of late had been much more severely met. She vanished into the dark, feet audible as she rushed to comply with her orders.
Once the undead servant was gone, Shalltear sighed, rubbing a manicured finger over each temple. This was no time to be lax in the security of the tomb! A Supreme Being had arrived directly in their midst no more than an hour ago without warning, and safety was more important now than ever. From what she had heard, Lady Zoba was resting from the ordeal, and when she awoke, a good portion of the tomb was to be gathered away from their posts to formally welcome their Lady of Desires home. It would be a spectacular occasion.
Shalltear was responsible for the tomb’s first line of defense. Every inch of her floors needed to be maintained, regardless of who would be summoned by her glorious Lord Ainz to attend. And, they needed to be maintained by underlings who could actually do their jobs, instead of being late to something as simple as a guard change!! She should have just sent that idiot to the frost prison, rather than let her take an extra shift. Ridiculous!
She pouted and balled her nails into her palms. All this waiting was too much. There might be some time to go to the ninth floor before the assembly was called, time to sit at the bar for a few rounds. How long would Lady Zoba need to rest? Probably a while, if half of what was being said was true. She’d hear some strange things getting whispered around the tomb…
“There is a certain book of sacred nature in the library of Ashurbanipal.”
Shalltear nearly jumped as the voice rose, but instead she turned with a frown, waving smoke from her wrinkling nose as a suit exited the newly appeared plumes. “Demiurge,” she greeted, in a not-so-welcoming tone.
“Perhaps, with interest to the levels allotted you by the Valkyrie and Cleric classes, you have some familiarity with it? Mmm,” he glanced sideways at her, turned toward the doorway the vampire bride had retreated through as he stepped to stand beside Shalltear. “Then again… perhaps not. Forgive the assumption you would devote time to such an ordeal as reading for the interest of it.”
A growl rattled in her nose as she forcefully folded her arms over her chest. He folded his own pointedly behind his back.
“The story is of one party asking a wise man permission to punish an individual, for a crime committed. They request death by stoning against the accused’s unchaste actions, a consequence supported by the law. The wise man looks among the accusers, and responds…”
The devil’s tail flicked as he shifted his feet, turning whole-bodily to face his fellow guardian.
“… ‘He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone’.”
Shalltear winced, and with a cut at her remaining pride, remembered the vampire bride had winced as well upon entering the room. “So?” she snapped, an ashamed glare directed to the floor. “What does that have to do with anything? My duties as floor guardian are just as important to the tomb as ever, despite… despite what I did to Lord Ai—”
“Shalltear. Did you truly think I wouldn’t discover your other failure?” Black fire crept into life around his frame, heating the cold stone room.
An eyebrow snapping up, she moved the shamed gaze to him. “What? What are you—”
“Have you not realized it yet?” The shadow on his face rippled as a glint traveled from his glasses to his fangs. “You were Messaged. Given a directive to summon a gate somewhere within the Burning Temple. To lead to the tomb’s surface, likely as close to the edge of the anti-teleportation field as could be managed. Did you? Are my suspicions true?”
“Of course they are!” she cried back, offense working it’s way into her expression. “You’re the one who told me to do all that! Hmph. Maybe you need to get your head checked, did you forget our whole conversation? It’s not really that clever of a ‘suspicion’ if you—”
“Must I spell it out for you?” Demiurge sighed. “That was not me, Shalltear.”
“Yes it w—”
The realization hit her.
“Wh—That conniving—he tricked me?? But—why??”
————
Demiurge did some footwork before the big meeting, and Shalltear was one stop he was sure to make! Poor undead girl has a lot on her mind as of late, and our devil-in-red is only adding to that pile of guilt. And all of that combined is, of course, only gonna spell more trouble in the end for our two main characters…

House Isekai: A Realm Reborn - Part 9, One Step Ahead (Prologue)
Act 2 Masterlist
---
At last reuniting with the members of House Isekai in Fodlan, everyone is informed how dire the situation is.
Leaving the more eccentric newcomers in the hands of Aqua, Ainz, Cocytus, Narberal, Sharon, and Sara move to investigate the anomaly VEGA had originally detected.
Doomguy’s Base
[247B’s Voice] “Disabling the final limiter now, everyone should now be able to travel freely!”
Communications with those in Fodlan suddenly turned to static as alarms began blaring throughout the station.
Everyone stood up, looking at the red lights as it turned the room to a dark red hue.
(Yu) "Woah!"
(Akira) "VEGA, what's happening?!"
(VEGA) "The anomaly we were detecting has become much clearer now. In fact, it has multiplied."
(Everyone) ?!
(Aqua) "Multiplied, to where?!"
(VEGA) "Scanning...It appears they are in several points, some in your worlds while others are unknown."
After a brief moment for the news to sink in, the static dissipated and everyone's voices became audible again.
[247B's Voice] "Terribly sorry about the interruption! We are free to leave at anytime!"
(VEGA) "247B was it? Are the anomalies our systems have been detecting towers from Zanado?"
[247B's Voice] "Indeed. It is unknown how they have arrived, but I do intend to find out, with your help of course!"
(Kanji) "Hang on a sec, should we even trust this thing? It has the ability to prevent us from communicating and shit!"
(Junpei) "Dude's got a point, thing's sorta freaky."
[Rean's Voice] "I think it mentioned it was created by Byleth and Sothis."
[247B's Voice] "Correct, I was made to assist all of you, and your worlds! Think of me as a Mini-Sharon!"
Sharon raised an eyebrow. Though she was far from the only one who was skeptical in the room.
(Teddie) "Psh, as if anyone could come close to how scary Sharon is!"
(Sharon) "Scary?"
(Sara) "A-Anyways, you said it was ALL of our worlds?"
(VEGA) "Yes, the same signature in Fodlan matches in every one of your worlds."
(Chie) "Oh crap, we got to get back now!"
The Persona Users nodded and all grabbed their weapons.
(Sara) "I gotta let the rest of Class VII know-"
(VEGA) "Worry not, we will take care of communications now that it is unobstructed. However, we still need someone to investigate the sources in the unknown locations."
(Darkness) "What about the disappearance of our own in the Zanado Tower?"
(Aqua) "We'll handle that, Darkness!"
(Darkness) "...We can? Just the two of us?"
[Lest's Voice] "E-Excuse me! I believe we can help with that task!"
[Sarge's Voice] "Us too, count us in lady!"
Ainz nodded to Aqua.
(Ainz) "Then we'll let you handle that. Narberal, Cocytus and I will go to this other world to investigate."
(Sharon) "Would you like an extra hand then?"
(Ainz) "Gladly."
Narberal appeared to be annoyed by Sharon's self inclusion, but stayed her tongue.
For once.
(Sara) "If VEGA's got communications handled then...Guess I'm with the maid too. Hey, kids. Be careful alright, we need to catch up once things settle down, wanna know how your class is doing!"
[Rean's Voice] "Of course, Sara!"
[Towa's Voice] "Leave it to us!"
[Aigis's Voice] "We won't let you down!"
[Kazuma's Voice] "Better than what you taught us, that's for damn sure!"
Sara smiled and nodded to the group.
(Cocytus) "THEN IT SEEMS WE HAVE OUR PLANS. MY LORD, WE ARE READY TO LEAVE ON YOUR WORD."
(Ainz) "VEGA, send us in. Think you can tell us what to expect?"
(VEGA) "I am detecting friendly signatures, though in what capacity I am unable to tell."
(Sara) "Any hostile?"
(VEGA) "...Plenty. Also unknown."
(Narberal) "Hmph, figures."
They all stepped onto the teleporter as they watched the Persona Users return to their world.
Doomguy got behind a console and shot them a thumbs up as they all began to glow.
(VEGA) "Good luck."
Their vision suddenly blurred into a bright white, as lightning dissipated, transferring them into a new area.
After their vision took a moment to adjust, the first thing they noticed was the immediate area was in an urban environment, filled with modern office buildings, roads, and other 21st century technology and road lights.
The skies were a pale white, so it at least confirmed the Tower's presence in the world.
Other than that, something was...off.
Most of the environment was dilapidated and covered in vines, broken glass, and crashed cars everywhere.
As if a war had broken out.
(Ainz) "This familiar to you two?"
(Sharon) "I cannot say it is."
(Sara) "Yeah, this looks something more in line from what the Persona kids told us about their world."
(Narberal) "Were they part of some massive conflict?"
(Cocytus) "DOUBTFUL, FROM THE WAY THEY ACT AND DRESS."
(Ainz) "...Come to think of it, who hasn't answered Sitri's call?"
...
...
Yuki stared at from the school's rooftop. Her blood ran cold as she was hoping what stood before her was just an illusion.
(Yuki) "..."
A child next to her pulled on her dress, snapping her out of her daze.
(Child) "Yuki-nee, what is that big scary looking tower?"
Her eyes widened.
This wasn't an illusion, it was a nightmare come to life.
Yuki looked back at it as the skies slowly turned from bright blue to the palest white she hadn't seen in years.
(Yuki) "You need to get inside, right now!"
(Child) "Yuki-nee, what's happening?"
Yuki grabbed the child's arm as she ran back inside, going to the classroom where the other kids in the school were.
(Yuki) Yuuri, Kurumi, Miki...Please be safe!
Finally knowing how Megu-nee felt that day, she rushed down the halls with the child still firmly in her grasp.
Yuki would be damned before she let anyone else she cared about die on her watch.

Because there's a lot of Overlord requests in my inbox
“Ooooh,” went Lumiere.
The two of them were seated on a couch in the tower. Lumiere tried to use the mirror earlier, but had little luck which was why Momonga was testing it out with her watching.
They weren’t the only ones in the room. Sebas stood off to Momonga’s right, and Jack off to Lumiere’s left.
After a while, something that looked like a village appeared. It was about six miles south of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. The village was surrounded by wheat fields, and there was a forest nearby. Pastoral was definitely the word for the scenery. At a glance, it didn’t look as if the civilization were terribly advanced.
As Momonga zoomed in, something seemed off. He let out a soft huh and asked, “Are they having a festival?”
Though it was early morning, there were people going in and out of houses, running. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry.
Lumiere’s eyes narrowed as she peered at the village. “They seem kind of… frantic.”
Jack and Sebas both leaned closer to the mirror.
“Looks like a massacre,” observed Jack.
Knightlike figures in full plate armor were brandishing swords at simply dressed people who seemed to be the villagers.
Lumiere gasped.
Jack was correct. It was a massacre.
The villagers fell one by one each time a knight raised a sword. They must not have had any means of resistance. All they could do was flee in desperation while the knights just chased them down and killed them. Horses the knights must have ridden in on were standing in the fields eating the wheat.
“Tch!” Momonga clicked his tongue and went to change the view. His hand slipped and a different part of the village showed up on the screen. Two knights were breaking up a struggle between a villager and another knight. They forcibly dragged the villager away and made him stand up, with one knight restraining his hands. Then, as Momonga watched, the other stabbed him with his sword. The blade went clear through the flesh and came out the other side. The sword didn’t stop there. The knight stabbed once, twice, three times, over and over, as if taking out his anger. Finally he kicked the body away, and it fell, splurting blood, to the ground.
“Oh no,” whispered Lumiere, her eyes wide.
Momonga glanced over at his companion, puzzled by her reaction--then confused by his lack of.
Was it because he was an undead and she angel? Or did it have something to do with their karmic value? Or…?
His mouth worked frantically, spilling a bloody froth. His eyes were already glazing over, and it was impossible to tell where he was looking. Still he clung to life and was able to get some words out. “Please, my daughters…”
“Momonga,” Lumiere whispered. “We should help them.”
“Why?” he asked. “They’re of no value to us, and it could put us a risk by revealing ourselves to a potential enemy”
“But--” Lumiere’s wings fluttered.
Momonga didn’t like disagreeing with his friend, but he had to put their safety first. He was making the right call… right?
He hesitantly glanced at the other figures in the room. Jack, who was nodding in agreement at his choice, and Sebas who--
For a flickering second Momonga thought he saw Touch Me, Sebas’s creator and Momonga’s savior, behind Sebas.
“When someone’s in trouble, it’s only natural to help them.”
That had been Touch Me’s mantra, and what the brave paladin had told Momonga when he first saved Momonga.
Gah, thought Momonga. Fine.
“I suppose a test run is necessary,” said Momonga. “Sebas, put Nazarick on the highest alert level. I’m going ahead. Albedo is standing by in the next room; tell her to fully arm herself and follow—but no Ginnugagap. Also, prep reinforcements. If something happens and I become unable to retreat, send in a party with good stealth abilities or invisibility. Lumiere--”
Lumiere stood up, eyes bright. “Yes! Albedo as tank, you DPS, and I healer--”
“Wait, my lady,” protested Jack. “It’s far too dangerous.”
“It won’t be if you’re with her, right?” Momonga said.
“I--yes,” said Jack anxiously.
“I should join as well,” said Sebas.
“If you escort us, then who will relay orders? If there are knights rampaging through that village, there’s the possibility another group could appear near Nazarick while we’re gone. If that happens, we need you here.”
The scene in the mirror changed and he saw a young girl send a knight staggering with a punch. Then she took a younger girl—was it her little sister?—by the hand and tried to escape. Momonga immediately opened his item box and took out the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Meanwhile, the girl’s back had been cut. The spell glided out of his mouth. “Gate.”
Momonga traveled by way of the most reliable teleportation spell in Yggdrasil. It could cover any distance and had a failure rate of 0 percent. He opened the portal for them to step through, and he, Lumiere, and Jack walked through.

After TEN THOUSAND YEARS I have finally caught up on the Overlord novels and am stuck waiting on the remaining releases like everyone else. My thoughts no one asked for: -The fact that Ainz is an incompetent, anxiety-ridden moron who signs things without reading them and practices his lines in the mirror, who lives in constant terror of being found out as a socially awkward human roleplayer with the IQ of cold pizza, and whose every accidental success only lands him in an even more elaborate nightmare scenario than whatever he just fumbled his way out of, has never stopped being intensely funny. -The more over-the-top horrifying his actions and minions become, and the more we get these epic and/or dramatic and/or tragic and/or terrifying scenes with the various people they encounter, the fucking funnier the previous thing becomes. Because everyone they meet takes them so very seriously, having no idea their lives are being hideously ruined by an incompetent, anxiety-ridden moron who signs things without reading them and practices his lines in the mirror and only started taking over the world in the first place because he said something stupid by accident once and it spiraled out of control. -The very edginess of the guild NPCs is itself also hysterical, because they were never intended to be anything more than silly creative writing projects by bored gamers trying to out-edgelord each other through descriptions of guild hall decorations, and none of them have the slightest awareness of any of the ways in which their existence is absurd. -Overlord continues to be some kind of bizarre darkly absurdist line-crossing meta comedy powered by dramatic irony and extremely accurate dunking on games and gamers alike, and I can't imagine how this nonsense ends but I'm here for it.
