Let's construct Alan Becker's videos' timeline.

First, a base : AvAnimation I to VI.

But in AvA V, AvPokémon, and AvSMB, the Minecraft Icon is missing from the taskbar. It went missing during AvMinecraft, featuring the charaters of AvA IV.

(Note : Diverging arrows DO NOT indicate a splitting timeline; arrows indicate an ordering, diverging arrows indicate an uncertainty.)

Now, the AvM episodes. Indicated by their number, in green, they will be assumed to be in order. They obviously happened after AvM.

(Note : "~" means that the episodes are directly following one another

But in 19, Blue tries to open the lucky blocks by jumping under it, mimicking what the Marios did in AvSMB ; and at the end of the 20~30 arc, the Minecraft block is put back in the taskbar, meaning that if the block was missing, the event happened in between.

Ho ! And AvLoL happens after they met with purple during 8~14

Now, the problems :

First : AvYoutube. Minecraft is in the taskbar, but we can't know if it happen before AvM or after 30. Both possibilities will be shown in purple.

Second : During the #TeamTrees, Discord replaced the Youtube icon, so it happened after all of that ; and #TeamSeas has references to #TeamTrees.

Finally : Noone has any clue where is Av∑ath.

ramble abt gamquius from that one gamquius guy

honest to god i am a gamquius truther through n through, i feel like it works both ways (talking about kismesissitude and matespritship) mainly cause of Equius. That dude has a HATE for Gamzee but at the same time wants him soooo bad. I take a lot of this from their one (1) conversation, Equius absolutely hates how Gamzee is because he’s not what a highblood is supposed to be in every way imaginable but since he is a higher caste than him he still has to adhere to him and that’s what he loves to do! no doubt about it. Which is why he asks Gamzee to boss him around to meet that relationship of him being a subordinate and Gamzee being a superior.

I like to think about Gamquius in a red rom light or just in general because of that one (1) conversation they had, it’s very clear they do have a close relationship, even if that relationship is like incredibly… let’s just say they both have different views on it #LOL. Gamzee is very carefree n doesn’t gaf abt the hemospectrum whereas Equius’s whole world view is revolved around it. Though in that one (1) conversation he expresses he doesn’t even get it because of how Gamzee is versus Aradia. & The fact that he can express that to Gamzee is enough to have me kicking my legs. i’m just trying to say i feel like Equius could improve as a person w Gamz… Also Gamzee is like one of the only other trolls we see other than Nepeta that genuinely fws Equius so ahahhaia ☝️. but we all saw how that ended so …💔 💔💔thanks andrew hussie, i will definitely not be at your door tonight!

There was a book I really loved as a kid about Egyptology. It wasn't particularly scientific or historical, it was mostly pretty pictures and fun pull tabs and plastic artefacts to look at. It was about the gods and the pyramids and shit, none of the stuff I learned later in life, about the Ha and the Ka. It was comforting to me when life in the shelter got difficult. I wish I could remember the title. My daddy tore the thing in half when I asked him where all our food was coming from. I still have one of the stupid little tchotchkes from inside it, some Senet pieces. I'd tear the planet in half for another copy I think.

also gonna ramble a little about my crossover au I've been obsessing over for ages, since I'm working on some art for it right now...

I'm Doing It Scared though so under the cut it goes !

okay so. it's a crossover of omori, yume nikki, yume 2kki, and .flow! yay!! fucked up dreamers!!!

I'm really happy with it though because of the worldbuilding I've had to piece together using stuff from all the games, and I'd say how dream worlds work in this au is pretty neat...

anyway, since omori is the only game with a clear story, for the other 3 I just picked some themes from the games and theories I like that I thought would work well together, and I think I did a decent enough job to make Madotsuki's, Urotsuki's, and Sabitsuki's stories in this au pretty interesting!

okay now for a simple summary: it takes place after the good ending, a bit after Sunny's moved and settled in a little in his new house. Sunny could say he's doing better, but that leaves out the fact he's still struggling to reach out and open up. until one night he ends up on a balcony instead of white space.

after learning he's not the only dreamer out there, Sunny makes it his mission to find and help as many as he can! helping others like him counts as helping himself, right? (spoiler: wrong <3)

one last thing, I do eventually want to throw in more yume nikki fangames because I think it'd be even more fun. whole family of mentally ill dreamers yay <3

i used to say that the salesmann was my most projected onto character, which was true. but the more i think about them and me now in 2024, i don't think it rings true anymore
