Once I drove after taking an anti anxiety med that i did not realize was an antihistamine (and therefore very bad to take when you need to be Alert) and hallucinated while driving for a solid twenty minutes. none of it was really scary. the trees had faces and kept leaning over the road. trucks had tongues coming out of their loading doors. it was all simply There. (I pulled over and nobody was hurt FTR. Don’t use antihistamines if you need to drive, kids.)

Oh man, yeah, antihistamines can really mess with you. I don't think I've ever had hallucinations from one, but then again I haven't taken prescription strength ones. The exhaustion and general flatline I get from OTC stuff is bad enough, hah

But yeah, hallucinations really just.. happen sometimes. Your brain just produces these weird things and presents them to you like "yeah this is absolutely what's happening around you right now, totally and completely, trust me" and no matter how hard you try to logic it away, you just.. gotta wait the bad inputs out or figure out how to work around them.

The human body is a fascinating thing and boy howdy is there a LOT going on in there!
