I'm continuing my experimentation with making #DamascusSteel. Here's a couple little #knives from #steel I made with #hickory handles from a tree I cut down at my folks place right after #mom died This pair was a tremendous amount of work, and they're not even real "knives" (the blades aren't even hardened!!) These drove home what goes into the pieces that REAL #knifemakers are turning out. Many of those are very expensive, for good reason; well made tools are worth every penny.
