Just this week I got juried into the Artmajeur Art Gallery site that is in Montpellier, France. Their editor has selected this abstract for their home page. Thank you all who have supported me this year! Just liking, sharing and commenting on my social media posts helps me so much. Thank you! • It has been a very busy year, including moving back to Palm Springs, doing three art shows and making a new website (which is still under construction) - www.emelinetate.com - after deciding to use my own name instead of my brand name. • From looking at my #2018bestnine I see that color is slowly coming back to my prints. Something I’m more aware of since loosing color after the loss of Mackenzie in 2014. • I’d like to thank a few key people who have helped me tremendously this year. • Thank you Jake and the team at @threadless who gave me a good head start at the beginning of 2018 when you selected me for the “Accelerator Program”. It was such an honor. You really made me think about my art business and relook at what I really should be doing as a whole. Without the program I would never have considered doing online courses or get myself an art business coach! • Thank you Alexis @artistsinbusiness for helping me look at the bigger picture and discover my “why”. I’m still working on focusing, which is something you know I struggle with. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve next year. • Thank you Steven at @janssenartspace for letting me show my artwork in your gallery in Palm Springs - so happy we got so many of my art pieces into new homes! • It was also so fun to go to @theotherartfair by @saatchiart in Los Angeles. I was able to meet some lovely people including @jaimederringer from @designmilk , @anoellejay again after our first meeting in NYC in 2017, @ninamaydesigns (finally) and @touchstonestudio - it was so worth the 2hr drive in and 5hr drive home!
