I'm a project hopper. I need to do this to keep my creative mind constantly fresh and inspired. I get artistically high off my own supply/ideas/creative thoughts and many times something will come to me at random moments and usually at a time when I am in mommy mode. I've learned and have started to allow myself, without feeling guilty, to put what ever I am doing on hold for that moment (if it is not too important) to indulge in that feeling. It may be some thing big or something small but I work on it as long as I can for that moment until mommy duties start calling again. 😊 Thankfully my husband gets it because he is an artist too.
