there’s two different ones! both bellocq teas - one is pic du midi (mint, ginger, and currant) and one is charleston (Ceylon black tea, chamomile, lavender, blue cornflower petals). I am a fancy-ass bitch when it comes to my tea. (and my yarn.)

I mean, I am drinking through it pretty fast and am probably going to order another tin of victorian london fog in a hot minute. 

the masala chai is (unfortunately for you, this is unhelpful probably) a gift from my mother, who went to india last fall and brought it back for me.

New pose just dropped, and it is for TWO characters, whom I shall call X and Y (going from image-left to image-right).

X is sitting on, almost sprawled across, Y’s lap, and is holding up a bunch of cards to conceal most of their face, although the cards could be replaced with something else. Y looks unconcerned with being used as a chair, in what I can only think of as the seated equivalent of a power stance, and is also holding up a gun (again, could be replaced with something else) in a posture of “I have a weapon and don’t you forget it, but for now it’s not aimed at you”.

On the off chance that there’s two queer D&D (or other gaming system) characters who would be in this position with each other, that would be LOVELY, like if it’s the characters of you and a friend, or I guess if you have two separate characters.

Otherwise, if your character could be one of them, send me a message with a brief description, as well as WHICH position here, and I’ll then end up doing a drawing of two different people’s characters together like that.

(Is your character particularly affectionate, or trusting, or willing to work with others? Maybe they were roped into posing with a stranger as part of a con? I have no idea how this is going to work, I’m just HOPING that I get the characters I need for it.)

Hi there! So I Clint is really important to me, especially in Matt Fraction's run of Hawkeye. He's such a disaster, but he tries sooo hard. He wants to do the right thing, but never seems completely in control. Like, life keeps kicking his ass, but he just knocks back a carafe of coffee, pets his dog, and does what he has to do. When I first started reading Hawkeye, I think I was in a place where I think I really needed to see a character be visibly overwhelmed with what was (1 of 2)

(cont) happening in his own life, to mirror what I was going through. So anyway, I was just wondering what your favorite headcanons are for Clint? (P.S. Clint is the huffleyest of puffs)

This all makes perfect sense to me! Fraction!Hawkeye (comics!Clint in general, actually) is great for a lot of reasons, just one of which is his intense humanity - his struggle is so visible, and frequently his failures as well. And that’s...really important, actually, as you’ve noted. And I think is one of the things readers responded so forcefully to. Not to mention Kate Bishop. 

Clint is absolutely a Hufflepuff. Someday I should try to sort the Avengers into Harry Potter houses. Or Westeros houses, I used to do that for all my fandoms. 

ANYWAY THOUGH I have a lot of Clint headcanons (and you didn’t specify MCU or comics, though I’m guessing comics based on this ask?) and it’s hard to pick favorites, but here’s a few off the top of my head:

Clint’s actually a decent cook. You wouldn’t think it based on the fact that he drinks his coffee directly from the pot, but he is a kitchen wizard. Also, this is attested in canon, but Clint is kind of a worrier. About other people, mostly - probably partly due to his background (and the instability of his connections to people as a kid), he gets really protective of the people close to him and tends to get nervous about their safety. Which doesn’t mean at all that he can’t be thoughtless or careless; he just feels shitty about it afterwards. 

Also, obviously, Clint has a thing for women who are dangerous and possibly bad for him, but even when that’s not the case (i.e. Bobbi) he likes women who can kick his ass. Clint in my headcanon (in every universe, tbh) is just pretty subby. 

Also because No Avenger Is Straight, Clint has what he would call a “mancrush” on Captain America. Also Thor. But I mean, who doesn’t.

Besides being practical & paying off my student loans? Then I'd say a few upgrades to my bedroom such as a new bed frame, dresser, bookshelves, & new lighting fixtures. So extravagant I know.

I'd stick with the major I went with in college-elementary education. I love it too much to give it up.

Does it have to be an oxford one?

idk if there are others but I need one with a good, comprehensive list of definitions and usage? lewis and short isn’t good enough and...fuck I forget the other one my library has online, but that also wasn’t good. I specified because I know the OLD has the kind of usage notes I’m looking for. 

I may just have to go to the library and haul out the print edition.
