Vintage Kosta Boda Frutteria Series Hand-Blown Vase by Gunnel Sahlin Rare form, green speckled hand-blown art glass vase from the “Frutteria” line. Etched signature at underside, numbered 49325, designed by Gunnel Sahlin. Gunnel Sahlin (1954-) is one of the well-known representatives of the illustrious contemporary Swedish glass design. She designed art glass for Kosta-Boda, one of Sweden’s most prestigious glass companies, for 22 years. From 1999-2004 she was a Professor of Ceramics and Glass at The National College of Art, Craft and Design, Stockholm. Gunnel is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
