Workshop with Artist Jordane Saget.
I used to do a lot of workshops when I lived in Singapore and it was always a great way to bring me back into creative mode. When I saw this workshop with street artist Jordane Saget being advertised I signed up right away. It was held at famous clothes designer Agnes b.’s art gallery La Fab in the 13th arrondissement near Bibliothèque François Mitterand so it also gave me a reason to explore the neighborhood again.
Jordane Saget is a renowned street artist who plays with lines, curves and perceptions to create often ephemeral works drawn with chalk or brush.
It’s worth checking out his Instagram.
When I first arrived in Paris I came upon some of his work (he had drawn on a manhole near our place and also on some store shutters in a small street nearby -last photo) but since he doesn’t sign his work I had a hard time figuring out who was the artist, until he collaborated with another artist I knew and I could put 2 and 2 together.
During the workshop he explained his process and told us to give it a go. And now I’m basically him as you can see from my two try… except his are precise lines, drawn either under time pressure when he does street arts or in front of an audience and mine are chaotic. Because behind the appeared simplicity there is a real talent. He is also a very nice and approachable guy (believe me I have met some I wish I hadn’t).
His chalk (yes chalk and it’s still up almost 2 years later) piece on the store shutters.

Portrait photography encapsulates a person since every shot highlight’s their essence, their character, and their identity. In Singapore, there is a portrait photographer Jose Jeuland who is distinguished with a different portrait photography style. He believes in putting artistic and professional touches in the images instead of striking a standard pose as a focal point. His studio in Singapore is for people who want to take artistic and high quality portraits for portfolios, professionals or corporate images. Throughout this article, the focus will be on Jose Jeuland portrait photography services, his style and the reasons for his employment in Singapore portrait photography services.
Jose Jeuland And The Portrait Photography Genre He Enjoys Most
There is a wide expanse of clients and portfolios all over the world working on photography. Jose Jeuland is known for numerous photographs of his work which are characterized by powerful images that go hand in hand with details. He has handled a lot of such sessions and combines experience with imagination and skill. He does many kinds of photography, including portrait, advertisements and travel engagements but with the niche of taking portraits where the character of the person in the picture is dominant.
Portrait photography, in its most important aspects, is all about interpersonal communication and creativity and making people feel the best. For one, Jeuland practices professional portrait photography in a well-equipped studio that specializes in capturing the essence of his subjects with well-planned lighting and suitable image composition.
Jose Jeuland’s Portrait Services Magazines
1. Corporate Portraits
Jose chuckles logging into different workshops and shows dedicating his whole heart to travel to big cities promoting a simple idea: getting ‘corporate’ include merging photographs. Jeuland informs us that a corporate portrait is broader than providing a headshot to a user: it allows the corporate face of a single individual to be communicated and epitomizes their standard of working. Based on his efficiency working with individuals from various backgrounds, jeuland tries to expand and enhance uncommon confidence with a new precept in every frame. Corporate portraits will integrate contacts, professionals, linkedin, and even conglomerate profiles thanks to headshots that are geared toward professionals in the most polished manner.

3. Fine Art Portraits
Many clients prefer advanced photography other than classical. Therefore, Jeuland offers fine art portrait sessions. According to Jeuland, These portraits do not seek to outline only the likeness but strives to look for emotions/ artistic expressions that tell stories of the people. It helps him to offer clients images which motivate them since he works closely with them to comprehend their vision. These fine art photographs in portraiture are meant for those who wish to establish a distinct visual presence.

The corporate nature and the brand identity of the specific company dictate the flow. These sessions aim to produce consistent, high quality images that are in keeping with the company’s ideals. These portraits ready the entire gamut of a business, from brand marketing promoting teamwork to showcasing individual capabilities.
Portrait Photography in Depth with Jose Jeuland
Jose Jeuland’s approach to his portrait photography is to allow the clients to sit back and relax during the session. Here’s what clients can expect when they book a session with him:
Booking a Session.
Every consult first starts with a comprehensive and well-structured discussion in order to ascertain the wishes and some of the expectations of the clientele. Whether personal or professional projects, Jeuland is committed to making sure that his work is consistent with the client’s aspirations so the expectation meets the result.
Appointment Preparation.
The preparation stage provides an opportunity to make arrangements such as what to wear, which kind of lighting to use, and all other factors that can be used for the final touch. With Jeuland’s broad knowledge about portraiture, clients can be assisted in making these choices and therefore all aspects include the portrait’s constituents.
Photographing.
Jose attempts to build a warm atmosphere during the photography session so the subject appears and acts naturally which results in more candid moments. He operates in a professional way but is very relaxed which helps clients to be more open and be themselves. He manages to capture the most significant aspects of the subject by making use of skilled lighting, angles, and composition
Editing and Retouching
After each portrait, editing and retouching is carried out – although this is now not needed for Jeuland. The subjects’ personalities are factored in even during post-production because of Jeuland’s enduring emphasis on retaining his/her uniqueness. Such detail grab his/her focus at this stage to assure the output is acceptable to the highest requirements for professional photography.

summative assessment compulsory question 3 (session 3 connect cts a to your learning and professional journey )
After exploring the LaSalle website, I discovered three collaborative projects that resonated with me: the Singapore International Festival of Music, the Illustration Art Festival, and Youth by Youth by Mediacorp. I believe I could contribute by designing posters, creating social media content, and enhancing their website. Additionally, I would like to showcase my own illustrations at the Illustration Art Festival.
For my final project, I plan to focus on the healthcare sector by designing medical devices that assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists. I am passionate about improving the lives of their patients and helping others.
I feel a strong responsibility to raise awareness for individuals with disabilities, who often face discrimination. It is essential to highlight their strengths and capabilities. Through my illustrations, I aim to challenge stereotypes and demonstrate that people with disabilities can achieve as much as anyone else. I intend to submit my work to the Illustration Art Festival to promote more inclusive representation.
I am eager to volunteer and support breast cancer patients at KKH, having already signed up to begin this meaningful work next year. I recognize that this journey can be both physically and mentally challenging for them. With this in mind, I plan to use my art skills to organize craft workshops and art therapy sessions, creating a safe and comforting space where they can express themselves and find joy. Working with these communities is something I am genuinely passionate about, and I want to make a positive impact in their lives.
I believe this experience will support my aspirations of becoming a physiotherapist and eventually starting my own biomedical device business. I will continue to persevere and view failure as a learning opportunity rather than a setback. Additionally, I will refrain from comparing myself to others, as I learned during the growth mindset session. I will also reinforce some of the collaborative skills I acquired while operating a business in the future.

Earn a World Recognized Degree for Less in Malaysia The Smart Choice for Quality and Affordability
Tumblr media
Studying abroad has become a popular goal for many students worldwide, but for most, the cost of education and living expenses can be a significant barrier. However, Malaysia has emerged as a standout destination for international students seeking a quality education that doesn’t break the bank. Offering high education standards, affordable tuition fees, and a unique cultural experience, Malaysia is an ideal option for students earning a globally recognized degree without the hefty price tag.
Study in Malaysia
Why Choose Malaysia for Your Higher Education?
Globally Recognized Degree
Malaysia's higher education system has gained a solid international reputation, with many Malaysian universities ranking in the top 100 globally in specific fields. Additionally, the country hosts branch campuses of well-known universities from the UK, Australia, and other countries, allowing one to earn a degree accredited and recognized worldwide. Institutions like the University of Malaya, Monash University Malaysia, and the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation offer degrees that are recognized across various continents, ensuring graduates are competitive in the global job market.
Affordable Tuition Fees: One of Malaysia’s biggest draws is its affordability compared to countries like the US, UK, or Australia. For instance, students can earn a bachelor's degree in fields like business, engineering, or IT for as little as USD $5,000-$10,000 per year. Branch campuses of international universities, such as those from the UK, Australia, and Ireland, offer the same degrees as their home campuses but at a fraction of the cost.
Study in Malaysia
Lower Cost of Living: Malaysia's cost of living is notably lower than that in Western countries, making it possible for students to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle without excessive spending. Monthly expenses, including rent, food, transportation, and leisure activities, can range from $300 to $600 depending on lifestyle, providing students with an affordable yet enriching experience.
Multicultural Environment: Malaysia is a vibrant, multicultural country with a rich blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous cultures. This diversity offers international students a welcoming and inclusive environment. English is widely spoken, especially in urban centers and universities, making it easier for international students to adapt and communicate effectively.
5. Scholarship Opportunities: Malaysia offers numerous scholarship programs for international students, making education even more accessible. The Malaysian government, as well as private universities, frequently provide scholarships based on academic merit, country of origin, and financial need. Scholarships such as the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) can cover tuition, accommodation, and even living expenses for eligible candidates.
6. State-of-the-Art Facilities and Modern Campuses: Malaysian universities are equipped with modern facilities, including well-stocked libraries, laboratories, and computer centers. Many campuses provide students with access to cutting-edge technology and resources, ensuring they receive a hands-on and practical education. Additionally, university-hosted events, seminars, and workshops connect students with industry leaders and provide a platform for skill development.
7. Gateway to Southeast Asia: Malaysia’s location in Southeast Asia gives students easy access to neighboring countries like Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. This proximity is a boon for students interested in traveling and gaining broader cultural insights. Additionally, Malaysia’s connectivity and central location make it an excellent starting point for students considering global career opportunities within the region.
Study in Malaysia
How to Get Started
Research and Apply: Start by researching universities in Malaysia that offer your desired program. Ensure that the degree is accredited and recognized in your home country, and check for branch campuses of international universities for a dual-degree experience.
Budget and Plan Finances: Make a budget plan considering tuition fees, cost of living, and potential scholarship options. Many universities provide guidance on estimated costs, helping you set realistic financial goals.
Apply for Scholarships: Review scholarship opportunities early, as deadlines can vary. Some scholarships may require letters of recommendation, transcripts, or a personal statement, so be sure to prepare these documents in advance.
Secure Student Visa: Once accepted, apply for a student visa. Malaysia’s visa process is streamlined, with the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) system simplifying the application process.
Explore and Prepare for Your Journey: Familiarize yourself with Malaysia’s culture, food, and language. Being open to cultural diversity will enhance your experience and help you make the most of your time studying abroad.
Study in Malaysia
Conclusion: Invest in Your Future with a Degree from Malaysia
Malaysia offers a rare blend of affordable education, international recognition, cultural diversity, and an enriching lifestyle, making it an attractive choice for students from all backgrounds. By choosing to study in Malaysia, you’re not only earning a world-recognized degree but also investing in a life-changing experience that provides both professional and personal growth.

Corporate Events, Reimagined: Elevate Your Brand Experience
In today’s competitive landscape, standing out during corporate events is essential for enhancing brand visibility and building lasting connections. As someone deeply invested in event management, I understand the importance of creating unique experiences that resonate with attendees. Here’s how I approach corporate event planning in Singapore to ensure that every event leaves a lasting impression.
Tumblr media
Crafting Memorable Experiences That Connect with Your Audience
When I think about corporate events, I envision not just gatherings, but opportunities to connect on a personal level with attendees. Here are some strategies I employ to craft memorable experiences:
Personalization: Tailoring the event to reflect your brand’s identity and values makes a significant impact. This includes custom themes, branded materials, and interactive activities that engage attendees.
Interactive Elements: Incorporating technology such as live polling, Q&A sessions, or social media integration keeps participants involved. This not only enhances engagement but also encourages meaningful interactions.
Storytelling: Sharing your brand’s story can create an emotional connection. I often incorporate storytelling elements that showcase the journey, mission, and vision of the company, making the experience relatable and memorable.
Selecting the Perfect Venue for Your Corporate Events
Choosing the right venue can set the tone for your event. In Singapore, I have found that selecting venues that reflect your brand and cater to your audience is crucial. Here are some options I consider:
Unique Spaces: Look for venues that offer unique features, such as rooftop gardens or art galleries. These spaces provide a distinct backdrop that can enhance the overall experience.
Accessibility: Ensure the venue is easily accessible for attendees. Proximity to public transport or ample parking can significantly affect attendance and overall satisfaction.
Amenities: Consider venues with necessary amenities like audiovisual equipment, breakout rooms, and catering services to streamline the planning process.
Engaging Attendees with Thoughtful Programming
Engagement is key to successful corporate events. I focus on developing a program that not only informs but also entertains. Here are some programming ideas I often incorporate:
Guest Speakers: Inviting industry experts or motivational speakers can add value and draw in attendees. Their insights can inspire and foster discussions around your brand.
Workshops and Breakout Sessions: Interactive workshops encourage participation and allow attendees to dive deeper into relevant topics. This format can also foster networking and collaboration.
Networking Opportunities: I always prioritize creating space for networking. Casual meet-and-greets or structured networking sessions help build connections that can extend beyond the event.
Maximizing Impact through Effective Marketing Strategies
To ensure your corporate event reaches its full potential, marketing plays a pivotal role. Here’s how I enhance visibility:
Social Media Promotion: Utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook allows me to reach a broader audience. Sharing engaging content leading up to the event can build excitement and anticipation.
Email Campaigns: Targeted email invitations can provide essential information while also reflecting the event's branding. I make sure to personalize these communications to enhance engagement.
Post-Event Follow-Up: After the event, I focus on maintaining the momentum by sending thank-you emails and sharing highlights. This helps reinforce connections and keeps your brand top-of-mind.
Collaborating with an Event Management Company in Singapore
Partnering with a professional event management company Singapore can make the planning process smoother and more efficient. Here’s how they can help:
Expertise: An experienced team brings valuable insights and creative ideas, ensuring your event aligns with industry standards and trends.
Vendor Relationships: They have established relationships with various vendors, which can lead to better pricing and streamlined communication.
Logistical Support: Handling logistics can be overwhelming, but with a dedicated team, I can focus on the strategic aspects of event planning while they manage the details.
By focusing on these elements, I can elevate your brand experience through thoughtfully planned corporate events. Engaging attendees, choosing the right venue, and effectively marketing the event are crucial steps in making a memorable impression.
In the bustling corporate scene of Singapore, I believe that reimagining corporate events is not just about hosting gatherings; it's about creating lasting connections and memorable experiences that enhance your brand's presence in the market.
