6: fic you’d recommend to someone new in the fandom?

For Hey Arnold, I’ll recommend the fic that got ME into that fandom, which is Keeping Arnold, by @lachesis-ism​. It helps to have a bit of a background in HA, but it has got some SOLID drama and EXTREMELY SOLID writing. Seriously, it’s one of the most emotionally deep things I’ve ever done read. The FF version is farther along, but the AO3 one is slightly more polished, and has art to go with it!

For Miraculous Ladybug, there’s always something to be said for the big ones (TLATB, Heartstrings, Serendipitous Fate, SBIB), but I think Won’t Tell A Soul by @thelastpilot may be the best introduction. If you’re starting from knowing the series, you get some really solid development and lore that really feel like they fit in the canon as a whole, AND you get a bunch more development for Nino! A great good boy who I love! After that, read Lucky Us by @geek-fashionista, which is considerably different from canon, but a PHENOMENAL love square fic. HECK yes. Although it’s more like two parallel love pairs, in some ways, more than a square. You’ll see what I mean.

I kept those to Teen ratings, you know, for the childrens.

9: do you prefer oneshots or multi chapters?

Dang, good question. I think I prefer writing multi-chapters, but i just may a little bit prefer reading one-shots.

No dammit much as I love a good, well-deployed one-shot, I have to say multi-chaps for both. LOVE that long term torture/development/pining/whatnot.

16:first fic you remember reading in the fandom you’re in?

TLATB tied with SBIB. I kept seeing cute ML art on Tumblr, and all these people kept referencing @bullysquadess, and then after I read a few chapters of TLATB, I searched for the smuttiest dartiest narstiest fic, and SBIB was there for me. Though it wasn’t much narstiness at the time. But I fell in love with both writing styles, and I’ve binged both multiple times at this point.

18:a detail you’re really proud of putting in one of your fics

I totally offhanded mentioned that there is a shrimp miraculous in chapter 9 or something, and its kwami is named Scampp, and I think that is the funniest fucking thing.
