Soulmate AU

Because I’m weak.

So basically, in this AU when you become old enough you start to gain a tattoo/soulmark of your partner’s(’) name. It usually appears between the ages of 16 and 20. Some people do gain theirs a little early but if you don’t have one by 20 it is presumed you won’t get one. About 10% of the population don’t have soulmarks, 3% of people have multiple soulmarks (which tend to be the same on their partners) and >1% of people have soulmarks which the person on them do not have. (One sided love essentially).

LB: Her soulmark is on the back of her hand, it is “Bradley Baker” in pale pink. It is slightly faded, but seems to glow slightly.

Bradley Baker: Has LB’s full name on the palm of his hand, it is a soft blue colour. It sometimes fades (when he lost his memory it was barely visible) when he is parted from her.

Art Hitchen Zachery: Has two soulmarks on his arms, one of his right wrist (Blacker in bright pink, written in blocky letters) and the other on the right side of his left upper arm. (Froghorn in almost-neon green, in pretty, swirly letters).

Miles Froghorn: Has two (new) soulmarks that are visible just beneath his collarbone - he was a light bloomer and only got them at age 23. Hitch written in purple and Blacker in paler pink. They seem to match with his freckles.

Blacker: Has two soulmarks on his neck, one under the other. Froghorn is at the base of his neck in bright purple/pink and Hitch (under his jaw) above it in orange.

Casey Morgan (BUZ): Her soulmark is extremely faded and barely visible, it is marred by (self inflicted) scars and a tattoo on top of it. The reason for this is because her soulmate does not have the mark for her. Meaning she would never be with them. The mark appears to be pale purple.
