John D. Rockerduck and Jeeves (Lusky) with Rockerduck's family plus Donald and Scrooge - Duckverse - Gift for my friends
Once again I wish you a belated Valentine's Day, and on this occasion I drew a drawing of one of my beloved fictional couples from Donald Duck comics. It is about the love relationship between Rockerduck and Jeeves (Lusky) and that they are gay but the best partners in which they help each other. John Davison Rockerduck is the third richest duck in Duckburg and one of Scrooge's biggest rivals, but who knows how to use modern technology and spend money on everything just to beat Scrooge in the competition, and if he doesn't win, he eats his hat. He is often assisted by his butler, secretary and partner Jeeves (Lusky) and Rockerduck depends on him. Something similar to Albert Quackmore and Duckworth for Scrooge. Nevertheless, as a loyalist, he does not betray his boss and participates in the "crime" together. He often appears in Italian comics, but sometimes appears in other European comics as well. However, the two of them, even though they are not a couple in the comics, there are still many indications that they are in a romantic relationship and thanks to the fans of these characters, here I am to do my drawing related to the two of them.
Apart from them, there are Rockerduck's nephews, Ricky Rockerduck (who is Donald's age and likes to hang out with Donald, and is also clumsy), Simeon Rockerduck (Rockerduck's special nephew, similar to Donald's nephews) and Arsène, George and Patrick Rockerduck ( Rockerduck's nephews who are a pure copy of Donald's nephews, appeared a couple of times in Italian comics) who support their uncle Rockerduck, and there are also Donald Duck (who hangs out with Ricky) and Scrooge McDuck, Rockerduck's rival and best frenemy. I used mostly redraws from Topolino scenes and other European comics and combined some of my own in my own way (especially in the case of Rockerduck's nephews).
I hope you like this drawing and this Rockerduck/Jeeves pairing. And this is a gift for my friends, who told me that Rockerduck and Jeeves are great characters, especially for @salemaru (which was her birthday recently so this is also a birthday present), @rednevalbones and @bitterlynsposts. And thanks a lot for pointing me to these comics as well as new inspirations and this is my gift to you.
Feel free to like and reblog this if you like it! Just don't use these same ideas without mentioning me! Thank you!

Happy 60th birthday, John D. Rockerduck!
Although I may be late, 60 years ago, on December 3, 1961, the genius Carl Barks drew and wrote a comic book called "Boat Buster", where he first appeared, John D. Rockerduck, and who clashed with Scrooge and where Donald Duck participated in a boat race competition. Rockerduck was modeled on John D. Rockefeller, the king of oilmen of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Rockerduck did not appear much in American comics, but that is why he appeared very often in Brazilian and European comics, especially in Italian comics, where Rockerduck is a much bigger rival for Scrooge than Glomgold. Glomgold is also a great opponent of Scrooge and once Glomgold and Rockerduck were allies. Certainly, John D. Rockerduck has his ingenious partner, butler and secretary in one, and that is Lusky or Jeeves, Aunt Eider and his nephews Arsène, George, Patrick, Simeon and Ricky Rockerduck. Yes, we should not forget Rockerduck's parents, mother "Ciccia" and father Howard. Certainly, Rockerduck is involved in Oil tycoon and modern business, and often in conflict with Scrooge, he loses and certainly eats his hat. Unfortunately, unlike Glomgold, Rockerduck appeared only once in the animation and that was in the Ducktales reboot. Hopefully they will show up often. Certainly, as always, there are pictures of himself and his family through various comics and cartoons.
For me, he is one of the favorite characters in Duckverse and great villains. Happy birthday, dear Johnny! Yes, he is celebrating his 60th birthday!
If you are a fan of John D. Rockerduck, his butler Jeeves and his family, feel free to like this and reblog this! Happy 60th birthday, John D. Rockerduck!

Duck Avenger/Gyro + 1?
1. Things you said at 1 am
Donald Duck has been missing for thirty-six hours.
He’s one of many in a slew of random kidnappings, ranging from the poorest to the richest citizens of Duckburg. It has made it so a handyman named Bert and the billionaire John D. Rockerduck are improbably listed in the same sentence. And falling somewhere in between is Gyro’s boyfriend.
And oh, how they both hated being referred to as such, hated using as infantile a title as “boyfriend” when Gyro was pushing forty and Donald was a father of three. The boys still made cooing noises when they caught them together, kissing in the kitchen or cuddling in the living room during movie night.
Donald used to blush and bluster, at first unsure of how to react. He didn’t dated much when the boys were young, and it showed in his hesitant affection and stumbling invitations.
Not that Gyro had been any better off, as unused to romance as polarized iron filaments were to a magnet. He’d been a bachelor for so long he’d almost forgotten any other way to be, but for Donald he makes the effort.
Donald, who brings him home cooked meals when he forgets to leave his laboratory for hours on end, presses a kiss against his temple and rubs his shoulder and says, “Get some rest. Your gizmos will still be here in the morning.” Donald, who never fails to congratulate him on an invention gone right, nevermind how little he understands of the science. Donald, who holds Gyro close at night, his head tucked under Donald’s chin, their bodies pressed flush together.
Donald, who as of midnight tonight, has yet to be found.
It’s nearing one in the morning now, and Gyro has yet to leave his lab. He helped with the search, in whatever way he could, but by now everyone who isn’t law enforcement has finally retired after thirty-six straight hours of searching and hoping fearing the worst.
Scrooge stopped by earlier, looking gaunt and leaning heavily on his cane. “I’ll be with the boys,” he said, with a comforting press of Gyro’s arm. “You’re welcome to join us, lad.”
Gyro didn’t take him up on the offer. In fact, for a number of hours he didn’t do much of anything.
He isn’t used to feeling useless, to being helpless. He’s not a superhero, and he may not be as much help in a fight as Donald is, at least not in the conventional sense, but he’s spent over half his life creating devices that are meant to help people. He’s built robots for the richest duck in the world, radios and grappling hooks and electrified brass knuckles for the diabolical Duck Avenger. For himself, Gyro’s built an arsenal of long-range weapons. He’s built growth rays safe to use on food so people won’t go hungry. He’s designed state-of-the art hearing aids, prosthetics, computers, and cars.
He feels incompetent and ineffectual now, his every success a worthless, grating thing reminding him, in this moment, that he has nothing to help the person who matters most.
Donald always said that there wasn’t anything Gyro couldn’t do. He would say it with a roll of his eyes, with wonder and disbelief. With love.
Today it seems that Gyro finally found something.
The door to his lab opens with a pneumatic hiss.
Despite the astonishingly late hour, Gyro isn’t worried. This may be his secret lab, located under his home and the wild chaos of his personal (and more public) lab, but a scant number of people have the access codes and biometric scans required to get in without triggering any of the alarms. Scrooge is one such person, as well as the Duck Avenger, Daisy, Gladstone, and Donald. They’re considering giving the triplets access too, in case of emergencies.
Gyro knows who can’t be at the door, and who couldn’t be there even if they wanted to.
He turns his head, glancing over his shoulder just enough to verify the identity of the person still lingering in the doorway.
“Good morning, Duck Avenger,” Gyro mutters, exhaustion nearly making his voice monotone. He’s been staring into his empty coffee cup for the better part of twenty minutes, trying to gather the energy to walk back over to the coffee machine for a refill. He doesn’t mean to sleep anytime soon. Gyro thinks of it as small punishment; he let his boyfriend get kidnapped, so he doesn’t get to sleep until he’s back.
In his peripheral vision he sees the Duck Avenger stagger, and a spike of fear lodges in his chest. As much as he hates himself right now, DA is his friend and he won’t ignore him, especially since he’s been gone since the kidnappings first started, searching for a lead.
Gyro turns all the way around, spinning in his rolling chair. He sucks in a sharp breath through his teeth at what he sees.
The Duck Avenger has been in his fair share of scrapes, many of which Gyro has been witness too. He’s lucky in that he never seems to get hurt too badly, and the few times he does, he’s gone the extra mile and gotten himself knocked unconscious too. Gyro doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to forget the four broken ribs and fibula courtesy of Zondag, or the hypoxia after fighting the Phantom Blot. DA had joked after he regained consciousness, and still maintains, that the incident made him forget all of third grade.
All of those incidents, few that there were, had terrified Gyro. He owes his life to the Duck Avenger, on multiple counts, but more than that, DA has been around for longer than Gyro has known him. He’s a mystery, sure; it seems like one day Duckburg didn’t have a superhero, and the next day everyone knew the Duck Avenger’s name. Gyro might not know the Avenger’s real name, or what he looks like under the mask, but he’s a friend. A friend Gyro had always wanted to get to know better.
Now, though, DA isn’t unconscious, but he looks like he maybe wants to be. His suit is filthy and torn in multiple places, covered in what Gyro doesn’t know, and isn’t sure he wants to find out. He’s leaning heavily on the door jamb, his hat missing and head feathers in disarray. Gyro can only imagine how dark the circles under his eyes are, hidden by the mask.
“Avenger,” Gyro exclaims, pushing himself up out of his seat. “Are you alright? What—”
Duck Avenger shakes his head wearily, rubbing his temples with one hand. “I chased down almost a dozen leads, and I’ve still got nothing. I’m no closer to finding anyone than when I started.”
Gyro feels as though he’s been doused in ice water. “Then…then what are you doing here, DA?”
The Duck Avenger shakes his head again, this time closing his eyes. “I just wanted to see—” He seems to start briefly, blinking rapidly. “Just-just checking in, Dr. Gearloose. Making sure that no other members of Mr. McDuck’s family or known associates have gone missing.”
Gyro’s fear lessens in a rush, leaving him a little lightheaded. He’d been afraid that the Avenger was trying to tell him that they’d called off the search.
“Okay,” he says, more to himself than DA. “Okay. Do you want some coffee before you go? It’ll probably help if you’re planning on staying awake longer.”
Duck Avenger nodded grimly, like the action itself pained him. “I am.”
Gyro makes his way across the lab, remembering to snag his own empty mug as he headed for the coffee maker. He puts some coffee on to percolate, and leans against the table, crossing his arms and ducking his head.
The coffee maker gurgles beside him, startlingly loud in the quiet lab.
His head aches like there’s a jackhammer pounding behind his eyes. He can’t remember the last time he’d felt so tired.
“How’re you holding up?” Duck Avenger quietly asks . He’s finally left the doorway of the lab, allowing the doors to close, and wandered a little further inside. Despite the exhaustion hanging off of him like a heavy coat, there’s a sort of franticness, of nervous energy about the vigilante that Gyro has never seen before.
He barks a laugh, rubbing his eyes with forefinger and thumb. “Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” Gyro retorts wryly.
Duck Avenger chuckles humorlessly. “Maybe,” he allows. He turns to fiddle with something on a nearby desk, concealing his expression. “But I meant about…about Donald.”
Gyro swallows tightly. “Well, you said before that you found the men hired to take him,” he says, once he’s certain his voice won’t waver. “But they-they didn’t have him.”
Duck Avenger nods once, still not looking back at Gyro. “That’s right.”
Gyro crosses his arms once more, looking down at his shoes with an ill-fitting smile. “So he might be perfectly fine. Maybe he’s hunkered down somewhere until all this blows over.”
The coffee maker gurgles twice more, dribbling the last remaining drops into the pot. Silence dominates the lab.
“Maybe,” Duck Avenger repeats softly.
But Gyro shakes his head, not sure he can take the Duck Avenger’s pity. “I know how unlikely it is. I just…prefer it to imagining him dead in a ditch somewhere.” He frees the coffee pot from the machine, and starts pouring coffee for them both.“Do you have someone like that, Avenger? Someone you care about?”
In his peripheral vision, he sees the Duck Avenger turn to face him. “I only ask because we’ve known each other for years, but I hardly know anything about you. I’m not asking for your whole backstory or anything, but if you ever want to talk.” Gyro shrugs, slotting the coffee pot back into place, and picking up the two mugs. “No pressure or anything. But I’m here if you—”
“Gyro,” Duck Avenger says, and he sounds wretched.
Gyro can’t ever recall the Avenger using his first name, and that gives him pause almost more than anything. Still holding the coffee mugs, he turns to look over at the vigilante with some confusion. That confusion turns to disbelief and horror as he watches the Duck Avenger remove his mask.
Distantly, Gyro realizes he was right about the mask hiding the dark circles under his eyes.
Donald looks back at him from across the room, bloody and filthy and bruised, and looking smaller in the cape and costume than the Duck Avenger ever did. He looks terrified.
“Don…” Gyro says on a gasp, trailing off as his lungs seem to seize. He takes one halting step forward, and the coffee mugs fall from his slackened grip. They shatter on the ground, spilling hot coffee over his shoes, but Gyro acknowledges all of that with cold detachment. Nothing feels quite real.
Donald’s hands are in trembling fists at his sides, and his expression is one of abject misery as he takes in Gyro’s complete and utter shock.
Gyro takes another step forward, before his knees give out entirely.
Donald almost moves faster than Gyro’s eyes can track, and all at once Donald is catching him in his arms, clutching Gyro by his elbows.
Gyro grabs Donald’s arms with both hands, his grip tight enough to leave bruises, but he has to be sure that this is real. That this isn’t the product of grief and exhaustion and too much coffee.
“I’m sorry,” Donald is mumbling as he lowers Gyro to the ground, his hold remaining firm, supporting him all the way down. “I’m so sorry, Gyro.”
Gyro doesn’t know if he can speak. He doesn’t once stop looking at his face, not even even when they’re both kneeling on the ground and neither has loosened their grip.
Donald’s cape is spilling around them, inky black and tattered in places, and this close Gyro can see the damage the suit sustained in detail, every knick and crack from deflected blows and deflected bullets. He can see that the fatigue in Donald’s face is bone-deep, and lines of exhaustion mar his features. He wonders how much Donald has hidden from him, if the exhaustion has always been there, just under the surface.
But Donald’s eyes are the same, worried and wide and genuine. Gyro can’t imagine what revealing this secret had cost him.
Donald’s expression has grown wary in the lengthening seconds of Gyro’s silence. His hold remains tight, though there’s no longer a danger of Gyro falling. It’s more like he’s afraid he operating on borrowed time, like he’s waiting for Gyro to pull away first.
Well, he’s going to be waiting a long time.
His hands still wrapped tight around Donald’s arms, Gyro roughly yanks him closer and meets him in a burning, insistent kiss.
It’s bruising in its force, and Donald whimpers as his head is tilted back under Gyro’s onslaught. He gathers the wherewithal to respond not a moment later, pushing back just as fiercely. His arm inches around Gyro’s back, slipping under his vest to clutch the fabric of his shirt at the small of his back. With his other hand he cups Gyro’s cheek.
But they both need to breathe, and so the kiss gradually gentles. Donald kisses a line down Gyro’s cheek, drawing them closer together still.
Gyro tucks his head under Donald’s chin, and wraps his arms around him.
Cupping the back of Gyro’s head, Donald looks heavenward and swallows, blinking a few times.
“Gyro…” he tries.
“Shut up,” Gyro mutters. “I haven’t decided if I’m mad at you or not.”
“Okay.”
“Just to be clear, I’m very mad at you.”
“You have every right to be.”
“And about what I said earlier? I’m expecting a full backstory.”
“I’ll tell you anything you want to know.”
Gyro breathes in shakily, burying his face in Donald’s chest. “Thank Godfrey you’re alright.”
Donald presses a kiss against Gyro’s hair, and rubs his back in slow, comforting circles.
Somewhere in the lab, a clock strikes one.

This is not ScroogeTales, nor is this GlomTales, this is... ROCKERDUCKTALES !!
Yes, you heard right, Rockerducktales, with John D. Rockerduck as the main character. Joke aside, I wanted to do this on the Duckwember theme, like Luxuriant Duck and Rockerduck came to my mind, but since I didn’t do it then, but now, here’s an opportunity with Duckcember to do something like this. Since Rockerduck is celebrating its 60th birthday this month, the 60th anniversary of its appearance, I wanted to do this. Yes I drew this, in my own style, combining styles from the original Ducktales (Ducktales 1987) and European comics where these characters mostly appear. Since Rockerduck often competes with Scrooge, and he didn't appear in OG Ducktales, but he did appear in Ducktales reboot, but not much in contrast to European (especially Italian) comics where he is a star, so here's a redraw with Ducktales intro from 1987 where Scrooge and Huey, Dewey and Louie present themselves with money, but this time Rockerduck and his nephews are the ones coming on stage. Of course, there is also the Rockerduck family who play important roles.
Here's the cosplay for Rockerducktales: Rockerduck plays Scrooge McDuck and Scrooge's opponent George, Patrick and Simeon Rockerduck (Rockerduck’s nephews) play Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck Arsène Rockerduck plays Phooey Duck, Webby and Doofus, although he is Rockerduck's older and serious nephew Ricky Rockerduck is in the role of Donald Duck and he is, and he is Rockerduck's nephew (the oldest Rockerduck’s nephew) And finally Jeeves (Lusky) plays multiple roles. He plays Launchpad, Duckworth, Mrs Beakley and Gyro, plus he’s also Rockerduck’s partner.
Certainly their opponents are Scrooge McDuck, his family and his company. This could be interesting and very funny.
This is definitely a part of John D Rockerduck's 60th birthday and I wish him a happy birthday. Of course, this is also my gift for my friend and companion, @chanduthemagician, who is a Rockerduck fan. Of course, even though it's still early, happy holidays and expect more surprises! And sorry that this drawing turned out a little bad and sorry for my long post.

Do you know anything about The Rockerduck Triplets? I think their names are George , Patrick and Simeon ? Do you think they are friends with HDL or they are enemies?
Of course, I know Rockerduck has three nephews, George, Patrick and Simeon. I think they only showed up once or twice, though I’m not sure. Oh, Rockerduck mostly used his nephews to compete and make Scrooge jealous. But only once, although it was more of a joke. Certainly, it’s interesting that Rockerduck’s triplets are totally the same, wearing the same hat and the same glasses and the same hair, as their Uncle Rockerduck. Yes, unlike Huey, Dewey and Louie who wear different caps and sometimes behave separately, this is not the case with Rockerduck's nephews. Still, I like that Rockerduck has such nephews who might inherit his uncle’s job and I think they have a lot of potential. They might be rivals to HDL, but not to such an extent. I’m sure they would have a good time with each other.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Still, those aren’t the only nephews Rockerduck has. Rockerduck has another special nephew who may be a little older or the same number of years as George, Patrick and Simeon, and that is Arsène Rockerduck. He is a special Rockerduck nephew who is not as hostile as his uncle. I'm sure Arsène and HDL would get along well despite the rivalries of their two uncles. Also, Arsène appeared poorly in comics. Interestingly, they’re all Rockerduck’s nephews, meaning Rockerduck has siblings, while HDL are Scrooge’s grandnephews after all.
Tumblr media
Rockerduck has another nephew, who is the same number of years (perhaps a similar age) as Donald Duck. And that's Ricky Rockerduck. He doesn't want to do business, but another simpler job for him, and he's good with Donald. John D. As much as Rockerduck is a rival to Scrooge, his nephews are very friendly towards Donald and HDL.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, I don’t know the details nor have I read the comics about them very well to know so much about them (These are mostly Italian comics where these characters were created.). That's what I know, and I'd like those characters to appear a little more often in comics. I apologize for answering you late, I was on vacation and absent for two months. I hope you are satisfied with the answer, and thank you for your question and if you have any questions feel free to ask me.

@pick-and-shovel-laborer How about this?
It can be seen that Scrooge is not very pleased to see his rival.
