Going back to spirit tracks yapping, the one thing that bothers me about st!zelink is like, with zelda being extremely implied to be a telink grandkid, st!link looking so similar to ww!link frustrates me cause like

you could headcanon st!link is an arryl grandkid, but that would make st!zelink related and like, I think st!zelink is so cute as a ship so I don't vibe with that hc lmao

The other option is for telink not to be a thing and st!zelda to be a tetra grandkid and st!link a ww!link grandkid, but like I love telink

though I think st!link being extremely similar to ww!link while being a super random kid would be funny in the sense that, if grandma tetra is alive and meets him she'd probably tell st!zelda 2 things like

It was Wind Waker's anniversary last week! Do you have any birthday headcanons for LU Wind?

Hiiiiii Ray, thanks a lot for the ask 🥹!!!! BIRTHDAY HEADCANONS YES YES YES!!!!

Okay okay I don't have that many, but I like to think he doesn't like those number shaped candles, he finds them boring. If he's 14 he has to blow 14 individual candles, and if it was Time's birthday he would put a hundred candles on the birthday cake (Wild and Hyrule would approve it, not so sure about Twilight).

Another one, and I think this one is obvious, is that he LOVES themed parties, and being his birthday he would of course force everyone to wear pirate clothes (tho Twilight and Sky would be enjoying it the most, they would pretend to be pirates and do sword fights), and Time definitely has to wear a pirate eye patch. Hyrule would definitely be talking like a pirate all day and Wars would be making Wind cringe with his older brother energy/jokes XDD!

He would miss Arryl sosososo much cause they used to blow the candles together like all siblings do, and while LU she's not there with Wind :,( (maybe a great birthday gift would be a portal to Outset Island!), or if not maybe he asks Four to blow them with him (I like the hc of them being related but I need to study it more tbh), I love those two. He would get annoyed and think Arryl ruined his birthday the first times (older sibling moment) but as they got older he would end up liking it!

And the last headcanon/fun fact¿ is that I like to imagine Wind's birthday is on spring-summer, cause he's made for pool parties but also cause I share my birthday with him XD!! Wind Waker's release date on Europe was on May 2 of 2003, and I have the same birthday and age, so yeah, maybe not a pool party but an outdoors pirate-themed summer birthday party like the ones I used to do hehe!!!

The way a pin could just drop and it'd be all you hear. The stare you're sharing with Aryll is so deep, so static, that you can practically feel the intensity of his pupils dilating, his hands poised over the patient that you'd just coded not ten minutes prior.

The older gentleman still has the sheet over his body, but the middle section has been cut, the bloodied scalpel gripped in the blond's soaked fingers. You can hardly believe what you're seeing, but it's an unshakable image: Aryll, one of the resident surgeons, is standing over a fresh corpse with a tool for healing in his grasp, and a cooler–the top slid over and leaning against it–sitting next to the bed where he's cut open your former patient. The senior was a victim of a car crash, the trauma to his spine too much for his heart to bear, and he died in cardiac arrest just minutes after leaving the ambulance and hitting your table. The DNR was mentioned mid-resuscitation and you left it, left him to die in peace and dignity as his breathing faded away with his slowing pulse.

You distinctly remembered Aryll, who had been standing by for aid, offering you comfort after your patient passed; you'd observed over the last few months that he was always better with patient deaths than you were, even the more traumatic ones. Maybe as a surgeon he'd simply built up a tolerance to it, you figured.

But…not at all like this. This was not something you ever envisioned you'd see, much less from someone you knew and respected in equal measure.

“Aryll..” Your voice echoes shakily, and the surgeon stands up, bringing his knee down from its place on the bed. His eyes are so wide, manic. There's a door behind you, cracked open as you froze in place at the sight. Your fingers manage to close around the handle, but Aryll slams it shut with one hand and smothers your lips with the other before you can even manage to scream.

“Sh,” His urging ripples shivers through your body, fear surging down your fingers to scratch at him in defense. He takes them too well without flinching, like he's done this very thing before–like he's used to them fighting–swings you around, and shoves you back against the cupboards full of a variety of medical supplies. Your ears are ringing enough to know he's hit your head hard, but the pain hasn't quite set in by the time he tilts it back and holds the scalpel to your throat. “Shut up. Just shut your-” With your last moments of freedom, you flail your hand out and slap him across the face. It leaves a mark, but aside from sweeping his hair astray and putting a sinister glare in his eyes, his grip doesn't get any looser.

Only tighter.

“You think I won't kill you?” He whispers under his breath; the soft beeps and chatter emanate from beyond the corridor, sounds of an average hospital wing on any normal day. But they have no idea what's unfolding in one of the rooms where patients go to die. Finally, a muffled yelp escapes you and you stiffen as the tip of the scalpel digs painfully into your throat. The teeth of the trap are finally bearing down on you tight enough for you to realize it's too late to run. And you're just trying to ignore the fact that Aryll's hands are still so slippery from the blood trailing down them, dripping over some old, faded cuts on his wrists. He follows your gaze silently down to the scars, and takes on an unreadable expression.

His hips shift–you hadn't taken much notice to them in the struggle, as he'd pinned you to the wall entirely with his own body–but you notice now. The weight of his belt buckle pressing into you…the much tighter, heavier swell of something beneath it, grinding awkwardly into your leg. He mutters a soft “fuck” under his breath and tries to readjust, but there's no way he can ease off without giving you the slack you need to get away. He seems…frustrated.

“You always do this to me..” Aryll mumbles, his gaze flitting back to the bed and then returning to you. “Even without knowing it.” Your eyes silently beg him not to kill you, and somehow, even after what you just saw, you feel some sense that he won't–or at least, that he's reluctant to.

That sense of relief, however, is ill-fated; as is obvious by the subtle pinch that draws your attention downward, and the realization dawning on you of what’s about to happen when Aryll withdraws the needle back into his pocket, and you slump as he lets the scalpel clatter to the floor to catch you. He murmurs something in your ear even though you're already on the brink of consciousness, so you won't recall what reassurance he was trying to offer you. But you will remember the dull fear throbbing in your eardrums as Aryll holds up your limp body, and gently kisses your neck to smear the blood that swells at the little wound he left as a scar. And how delicious you must taste to him, after pining for so, so, so long.

So "Legendary" from Epic but it's Wind. Like, obviously it isn't something at a glance but like:

Young Wind growing up with stories about the Legendary Hero of Time and he lives on that small island and like, I imagine he wonders what's out on the water (my headcanon is that Wind and Arryl's parents were lost at sea when they were young) and thinks about it a bit. And he's a kid so of course he wants adventure and wonders about the old hero and if they will ever return.

And then Aryll is taken and Wind now has to go out and fight monsters and try and prove himself as a hero and Ganondorf is just like, "A child? What are you going to do?"

And Wind is just trying to live up to the Hero of Time and just SOMEONE SEE MY VISION PLEASE--

Linked Universe Vtubers Au

So I like Linked Universe. I also like Vtubers. The result? LU vtuber AU! This has refused to leave my brain ever since it came up and now you shall live with this too!

It's a basic modern AU but everyone is a Vtubers instead of any normal job they could have. Their Vtuber lore is the same the actual chars, but their Irl counterparts are different. I'll talk about the agency the characters are in later, so have some fact about them!!

Used to live out in the country but moved away since he doesn't have the best relationship with his dad.

Hides his accent, uses a quite posh one.

Worked full time at a make up store in the morning and did night security shifts at 3 times a week before becoming a Vtuber.

Quit because it was making his health way worse and he had more wiggle room when Linkle moved in as she (supringly) also had a job.

Became a Vtuber due to the extra wiggle room. Wanted to be one since they helped him through some tough times.

Wind and Arryl (his cousins) visit him on occasion, and he loves them.

Wind found out his Vtuber identity immideatly, but is not a snitch.

Used to date Mipha before the accident.

She lived in another country and though she wanted to give him her support, she often couldn't, and since so much about him changed with the memory loss, she sadly had to cut her losses and break up, even if Wild technically didn't know it at the time.

Still looses his memories, but now because of a car crash. His parents died in it and though his sister survived, she didn't go in a coma but went to an unknown relative. Happened when he was 19, awoke when he was 20.

Wheelchair bound but can technically walk and stand, just not good.

Does his best to hide the fact that he's disabled.

His model does not have any scars because of this as he wants it to be perfect, unlike himself (yes, he is in therapy, because who thinks he isn't perfect?)

Became a Vtuber as it was difficult to find jobs he could do whilst wheelchair bound that doesn't pay like shit or force him to move away for college. He also really liked them regardless.

Trans (FtM). Had surgery before the accident and didn't know until he was 21.

Somehow lives off of hunting (don't worry, he has a license) and the instant noodles etc he buys from the store that's very close to the middle of fuck who knows where.

Somehow still used Internet Explorer when he started. Did not know what Firefox was until Legend explained it to him.

Refused to use Chrome as he didn't know how to change his browser.

Still shocked at being a functioning Vtuber.

Became one because money was getting tight and since he grew up in a village in the middle of fuck who knows where, didn't have too many good jobs he could have.

Still refuses to wear pants.

Puts even more of a tsundere act when on camera.

Has quite a posh accent but hides it and uses one that's actually normal.

Sadly had to move out of Odinia because of college. Now works part time at a veterenarions clinic.

Became a Vtuber because it sounded fun even though he wasn't the biggest fan of it at the time.

On his debut stream he found a toggle to turn his model into a wolf and Legend send a donation just to call him a furry.

Doesn't join the agency until he's 18, and he's 15 for most of the stories that I have planned. This may change.

Warriors' cousin. Often visits because his Grandma can't take care of them every day, especially Aryll.

Slowly starts to join streams even though Warriors is very reluctant. Warriors' fans love him.

About the agency and some lore:

The agency is called Fates and their theme is good vs evil. Their first wave was called Inception and had four members: First, Fi, Hylia, and Demise.

They were suprisingly successful, but after 1 year, Demise took a break because of some bad rumours about him started to spread, and not long after, First graduated due to personal issues.

Fates was already in the progress of adding more members, and eventually the new wave by the name of Clouds came out, having 2 new members: Sky—a former indie Vtuber by the name of Crimson—and Ghirahim, who was also an indie before joining the company.

Everything went great, Demise coming back to streaming...but then the rumours came back, and they found out that they weren't just rumours. Demise was quickly terminated as he had been harrasing fans on an alt account, then Ghirahim got terminated as he had been meeting with his fans Irl and given them special bonuses, which even went for outside of his streams.

As a way to save their image, Fates let out a new wave by the name of Destruction shortly after, having 3 members: Vaati, Dark, and Shadow.

Both Sky and the members of Destruction got a fair amount of hate, mostly from people saying that the company is simply trying to replace First and Demise with cheap knock offs.

Fates has open Vtuber auditions for the first time since the agency started, and recruit 7 people that joins a wave called The Chain: Time, Wild, Legend, Hyrule, Twillight, Warriors, Four.

Later they would open auditions again, and have a new wave by the name of Mortality with 4 members: Impa, Calamity, Majora, and Ganondorf.

I have a list for what each Link would be, except for Sky. I don’t know what to do with him. I can only think of an angel(too basic, not weird or pop-culture monster enough imo) or a harpy(also not pop-culture monster enough imo and I don’t know who he would hold a sword, in his mouth???). Maybe he would be part dragon??? Bird thingy??? I’m not good at this. You love Sky, I know you have great ideas. Please help(only if want not forcing).

Here are what I have listed as the guys:

Wild: Frankenstein’s Monster - cause shrine and stuff

Twilight: Vampire - he’s a creature of the night and in some stories(like Dracula I think)vamps can turn into wolves. Also, Twilight joke.

Sky: Empty because I don’t know :(

Time: Half-Oni - he’s only half because of the Fierce Deity. It’s turning him into one. Also they’re like protector spirits in one source I’ve read. Only one, but I like it.

Four: Minish(The Fly 1986) - So the 1986 movie, The Fly, a guy(the mc? I don’t remember rn)basically accidentally steps into a teleportation machine at the same time a fly flies in. The guy gets a fly head now. Four has the head of a Minish now. That’s it.

Warriors: Final Girl(Human) - There’s this horror trope of a “final girl” where only one singular girl is left alive at the end of the movie. It’s kind of a meme in the slasher fandom tbh. Also the girl is only alive because of either shear luck or something else. I only have him listed as Final Girl for the meme.

Legend: Haunted Doll - he like, used to have strings, like one of those puppets. Hold up I have a picture but he also has one of those ventriloquist dummy’s mouths

Wind: Physic twin with Arryl(probs spelt this wrong but it’s fine) - Making him a sea creature would be too easy. Also, he would be kinda creepy 24/7, as those creepy twins in like The Shining are. He’s just slightly off. Also he’s physic.

Hyrule: Witch - He has spells and stuff.

I picture Wars-and humans in general-as being naturally terrified of monsters. Let me rephrase that-they are more naturally cowards in comparison to Hylians. So Wars, who has the Triforce of Courage within him, is still a bit cowardly in comparison to his fellow heroes. His slightly cowardly nature was actually helpful during the war, as he could make more rational decisions compared to his fellow Hylian soldiers. Also he was the only human to be in the Hylian Military atm, he’s the special special. I picture that even in his time, humans are uncommon in Hylian areas, with people in the army giving him the stink eye every once in a while, or them just asking why his ears are like that. Maybe he had fake Hylian ears even before he got sent off on his newest adventure, just to get everyone else to shut up.

Humans are also less durable compared to Hylians. Unfortunately for Wars, the rest were all either born as Hylians, or are very close to them. They don’t know how fragile he is. Except for Twilight, he grew up with them he knows how they are, but there’s reason for him to believe that Warriors would be stronger than most humans, to be able to handle more than most humans. There’s a reason, a very justified reason for the natural cowardice of humans. There’s a reason there aren’t many around in Hyrule.

Arryl! Aaaa they grow up so fast. 🥹

& Tetra’s characterization! Voice & body language! That’s especially perfect! The way she shifts from gruffness to affection, barely a few panels in & there’s a very clear picture for a multifaceted character. She’s the same BAMF we remember yet she’s grown so much! 🥰

The way even her internal recognition for the Master Sword is just “Link’s Fuckass sword” is so funny & does a lot to establish Tetra’s dialect even admist plot progression! I could almost hear the gruff woman voice say “fuckass sword” 😂 Also says a bit about the WW post-apocalyptic setting. It’s not the Master Sword, it’s the sword that was used once & was never supposed to show up again! 👀

& then her FACE as she’s like, Link, walk with me! 🤣🤣🤣 She’s grown so much since the events of Wind Waker & having a very appropriate reaction to the sword Link left at the bottom of the whole-ass ocean casually showing up again on somebody else’s person. 🤭
