This is a nice summary of Canary’s journey from a recent article about her appearance on Arrow. But you know what sad truth I see there - the story ends with Legends of Tomorrow. She starts leading a time travelling team ad that’s it. nothing more to mention about her journey, while all this amazing journey that is a story for a whole book, is something that happened off screen or in one year of Arrow. Come on Legends’ writers you can do better than that. You have amazing character - give her story lines. Her life doesn’t ends with ‘lived happily ever after’, because no one believes in fairy tales any more, and it just continues.

I think Felicity gets hurt but not her chip. Many of us think Felicity is pregnant which does not make for good action series so think she has a miscarriage and this a loss that Oliver has never expierenced before.

Do you think felicity will get harmed in episode 22 and she’s the one who’s n hospital maybe daz finds a way to hurt felicity by her chip he does something to it

I do think she gets hurt… or at least Diaz tries to hurt her. Given the hospital scene and Emily being in LA while they film the fight stuff… I think she does in fact get hurt. I think it’s highly likely she’s the one in the hospital. Her or William. 

However, I don’t think it’s the chip. I could be wrong but… That feels super lazy to me. Then again the writing this season has been less than stellar so maybe lazy is their thing. But she had her chip attacked last year. John had his chip attacked this year. ANOTHER chip attack just seems supremely lame. And why would Diaz want to/know its possible/be able to anyhow? He’s a thug. Guns and fists and bombs. That’s his thing. Not hacking technology. 

And here’s where I meld spec with meta and say I would rather he didn’t mess with the chip for all the reasons I said in my spec in the above paragraph but also because I think it’s about the least interesting way to put her in the hospital. Last year, when her chip was fried in 5x20, ARGUS fixed her up in two shakes of a lambs tail. Oliver took more doctoring than she did. It doesn’t make sense why she’d be in the hospital for it THIS year when last year the fix was so easy. John never went to the hospital when his was messed with. 

So yeah. There’s other ways to hurt her than just mess with her chip. Let’s not give weight to one-note writing.
