Olicity Tropetastic Awards: Season Six

We got a wedding. And domestic!Olicity. And a crossover that could’ve easily been called “Oliver and Felicity are Soulmates.” And 6x18. There may have been moments that were frustrating in season 6, but at least we can all agree that Oliver and Felicity were the silver lining. Lots of spec swirling around about the S5 cliffhanger. Ever since SA posted that pic of him with the island beard but with no tattoos, ppl are speculating that Arrow is gonna pull a "Lost" and do some kind of timey whimey thing where Oliver gets stuck on Lian Yu alone again and the Oliver we see in 1x01 is actually 6x01 Oliver. This would really piss me off and I really hope it doesn't happen. Do you think this theory is likely?

I’ve said before that I don’t know what will happen in the cliffhanger. I wouldn’t be surprised if no one has guessed it yet. I haven’t seen a lot of spec on it, but then, I haven’t gone looking for any either. 

I’m not entirely sure what you’re getting at with the “Lost” comparison (and it’s a show I love and get a bit protective of, so forgive me). I’m guess it’s the season finale where the flashbacks were revealed to be flashforwards instead? I’m not seeing that for this particular finale. This finale is about matching up the 5 years away flashbacks with the moment we saw in the pilot where Oliver was rescued and returned home. Leaving the island. So I don’t think they’d mess with that. 

But my mind is open to possibilities about the cliffhanger. I’m truly not worried about it. You can think that naive if you want, but mostly I feel excited to find out what happens.
