#basically yesterday night was chaharshanbe suri . which is a solar new yr tradition where we let go of the past suffering in our year#and like...start the new yr w fresh vigour . anyway so my friend was at the event and we were abt to leap over the fire#and she was like bro im im glad u blocked her (situationship) etc etc . and then. my phone started vibrating. and i look at it. and my f#friend looks at it. and its her. and were both like what the fuck?? i blocked her things r Over and anyway so i pick up the phone and shesl#acting like nothing happened (bc nothing DID happen for her) and she was like ohh ur doing chaharshanbe suri im not doing anything etc what#are ur new yr plans so i jusr .IDK WHY I DID THIS . but ig i didnt wanna come off as like lonely i said probably hanging out w family and#friends maybe reading poetry together . et cetera and she was like wait that sounds so fun why didnt u invite me!#LIKE WDYM YOUVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY MAKING IT CLEAR U DONT WANT TO BE IN MY PRESENCE . and i told her that after#everything i thought she didnt want to see me again and she was like you always think that 😐 . like. ?? ok anyway so she expects me to#invite her . and like. there is an above 0% but sub-5% chance she will actually show up . but the panic that gripped me#i started making calls to my friends asking them if they can come on the 23rd bc there must be an event and also i asked my mother#and she said actually yeah i am doing a thing on the 23rd :D it involves over 16 ppl (we live in a v small flat) of which like...7 are kids#so you wont have space to be in ur own room let alone invite others. which tbh like ...being around a bunch of loud kids doesnt seem fun fo#any of my friends or me etc so i thought maybe i should arrange things so that we all go out together and if she shows up she shows up 🤷♀️#but . im so. WHY DID I SAY THAT . i had to panic-call my research partner and ask him to get from oxf to where i live on the 23rd#and when he heard the explanation he like. the light in his voice disappeared 💀 but he potentially agreed so idk#THE ISSUE IS. 23rd im supposed to also have . a date#w this girl that i had a huge crush on when i was 15-16 (posted abt this b4 but id get shitty black coffee in the mornings just to spend a#few more minuted w her each day and she was the cleverest girl in school and she cared abt nothing but her academics but now shes very gay#scraggly homosexual etc etc shes cute) and YEAH IDK#like id have to go there on the date come back fast meet ppl POTENTIALLY (again under 5%) meet situationship girl#like is that even doable#but the thing is it would be so so so funny bc all of my friends dislike her sooo much#.........what if i invited the girl im supposed to have a date w over to hang out w us#god that would be so hilarious and chaotic . i wont do it tho im a mature person x#but it would be soooo funny#I HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT DUE TMRW 12:30PM IT IS 10:49PM RN I HAVENT STARTED IT bc i was rotting sadly in bed#popped a ritalin pill tho so here we go x#i have found myself in a state of such sheer agony and rage and sorrow and grief over this girl that atp i feel like#its just so entertaining . like i feel vaguely over it? ik nothing will come of it so its like just . have fun . vibe

it’s official; i’ll be working 5:30-9:30pm instead of 6:30-9:30pm thursday-monday due to the fact that we have 6 momma dogs and 37 puppies between them all in addition to the 4 dogs i have to walk (6 right now because we have two dogs boarding with us unfortunately) which means that i should have time to clean everything thoroughly and it also means that i will be making about $680 instead of $578 each biweekly paycheck which isn’t a lot but it is significantly more than $0 per week and this job suits my schedule so so so much better than literally every single other job i have had and also i get paid for getting some puppy therapy
#⟡ — kayleigh’s yapping#it’s only until we have less puppies of course but then again i honestly might just ask if i can work 5:30-9:30pm from now on 🤷🏼♀️#the extra hour makes a huge difference because it takes ~30min to walk all 6 dogs currently#so i should be done walking dogs by 6pm and then i have until 9pm to clean everything before i have to walk dogs again#ngl i will probably still have to stay 10-15 minutes late but that’s totally fine i am used to it by now lmao#when summer comes around it’ll be nice to have that extra hour to walk the dogs for longer#but right now the weather is usually shit and it is usually cold af so i only walk them until they go potty#they all get woods walks during the day so it ain’t a big deal that i don’t walk them for a super long time#ANYWAYS i am going to attempt to go tf back to sleep asap until 3:45ish and i am so so so glad that i have two days off after tonight#i just have to go pickup a big curbside grocery order tomorrow afternoon#(i always feel bad for getting 50+ items but i get so overstimulated if i go in and shop myself 😭)#(and i mean. it’s their job. i worked curbside pickup at a different store for a bit and it was infinitely preferable to working registers)#unfortunately i have been putting off groceries because i couldn’t get them last week due to their slots being full due to the holiday#so i have to make up for that by ordering a lot at once ughhh

fell asleep on the floor after coming back home from my first classes today and then started crying
#kind of a vent#today went well#but my schedule is just.#i wake up extremely early and come home pretty late#as the semester wears on im really afraid im going to end up having barely any time to sleep or interact with family#three days of my week is waking up at 5:30am. leaving home by 6:30. arrive home at around 5:30pm#two days is leaving home at like 11:30am and coming back at 5:30pm#the stress of it all is already wearing on me. i dont like my schedule but there's nothing i can do to make it better

today has been like. 2 weeks' worth of days.
#mine#woke up at 3:30am left for the airport at 4 got to my gate at like 4:45 boarding was supposed to be at 5 for a 5:45 takeoff#but the whole airline's system was down so it was delayed 2 hours#finally got on the plane and got to the las vegas airport#thought i was gonna miss my connecting flight but that flight was delayed too so i caught it#got into chicago around 6:30pm local time (i was originally supposed to get here at 3:30)#[warning for vomit mention in next tags]#i get motion sick and tbere was turbulence and i aaalmost made it the whole 3.5 hour flight without puking but when we were landing i did#i frew up and i was flying alone so it felt so pathetic 😭😭😭 the flight attendants were v nice to me tho#FINALLY got out of there and had to pay for a super expensive uber to get to my hotel#so i am here at the hotel now and waiting for my food to arrive and i am so so soo tired#prob gonna collapse in bed after i eat tbh#i hope tomorrow is a better day#reminding myself that long travel days like this always suck#AUGH

again, sorry for being so slow to get to asks, editing this film is making me genuinely want to die, things keep going wrong and I want it out of my site
#I got an extension because i got locked out of my editing room due to a faulty fucking lock#and all my stuff was inside so i had to stay on campus overnight with nothing but my phone and fucking toiletries bag#i was locked out from 10:30pm to 1:30pm the next day and i was still expected to edit#the audio i got was shit because the sound department art fucking hacks and didn't mount the mic#our director is a misogynistic idiot who didn't bother to record room tone#my fucking ex somehow got involved with the production so i have to edit around his shit acting#our cinematographer keeps hounding me to submit it#to a fucking film festival because she shot it relatively decently#BUT EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT IT IS TRASH why would you want to show that publically?#which btw our idiot director thinks we got personally invited to show our film at a screening... it was a general email sent to the whole#student body and i had to spend 5 minutes explaining that to him#men keep giving me 'advice' which is literally common knowledge like keep your levels between -21 and -6dB#which is wrong by the way#and all of this is happening a week after one of the worst shoots of my life that went so astronomically bad me and the other producers#are now doing damage control and setting up a meeting with the director to explain that you can't treat people like shit on set you're not#stanley fucking kubric autour theory is over and we want money out of his pocket for how we were treated#oh yeah and my fucking sex addiction is acting up which is making it really fucking hard to get shit done

Why do people act like a two hour wait at an emergency office is a lot. Especially when there's a lobby full of people and you know a pet was just euthanized??
#Just when I feel better because of one client another pisses me off.#We've gotten 9 patients since 5:30 they had 6 total ER patients from 11am-2:30pm. almost all of our cases came in at the same time.#Majority of the cases started coming in at 7. that family asked for one update and then got quiet after we told them an update and that-#there was another pet being euthanized. then some dude who came in just now around two hours ago is being a dick because he doesn't want to-#wait. your pet is stable. we gave him pain meds and needed him calm to do treatment.#Two hours is NOTHING
