Driving Crazy

Genre: friends to lovers, fluffy, kinda suggestive.

Pairing: Kwak Youngmin/Aron x Reader (female).

Word count: 1337.

Warnings: I just wanna say that I'm using Mingi for Ren instead of Minki because I discovered recently his preference.

When you finally had a break to watch Mingi's musical, you didn't expected to have your dream revelead on the backstage.

After the musical came to an end, Mingi's friends went to the backstage to properly talk about it. Aron was guiding you, so you wouldn't lose yourself between the amount of people there. The way he pressed his hand just above your hips made Jonghyun and Dongho chuckle, but it couldn't be heard because there was loud noises in the theater. Minhyun was too focused on the way to look at anything else. 

Reaching out the backstage, Mingi just looked at Aron's hand on your back and your flushed face. The scene was indeed absolutely funny. Could it be more obvious that you were both into each other? 

"Mingi! I'm so proud of you, sweetie! You did amazing! Great! Spectacular!" 

"Thank you so much! I'm glad you could came. I was thinking already that you wouldn't watch."

"How could we miss you shining like that?"

"We were just trying to come together. You ruled the musical!"

"It was amazing, really. I've always known that you're talented but that was beyond my knowledge. Congratulations, Mingi!"

Still dressed as Jamie, Mingi was full of smiles and looked really grateful. It was so good to see him like that. 

"We're gathering a little, but soon we're leaving. No after party while the show goes on. There's food and drinks, though. You guys can go on. I need to talk to my best friend first."

Only then, you felt Aron's hand leave your body, causing a empty feeling, even though there wasn't anything to be filled. 

"Do you want anything?"

"Oh, no, Aron. I'm good, thanks."

He left with the guys and Mingi grabbed your wrist so you could talk in the corner.

Aron, looking at it, didn't enjoy the view.

"They're together, or something?"

"Don't be jealous, they're just friends."

"But they're so close."

"Why don't you just confess to her?"

Minhyun said after devouring a little snack with some fruit he didn't recognized.

"Confess what?"

"Everybody knows you're into her."

Jonghyun spoke and Dongho nodded, grabbing a can of cola. 

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"And that hand on her waist 'till here? You're so obvious. But she seems oblivious."

Aron's thoughts returned to your body against his hand. It could be nothing big, but he liked to guide you and feel like he was some kind of protection. 

On the other half of the room, Mingi was laughing at your silly face. 

"C'mon, he's so into you! The way he brought you here and stayed! I can't be the only one who's seeing the love around you two. Talk to him."

"I can't do it. What he'll think about it? What if he's just trying to be nice? You know he's super cool."

"Oh, God..."

Grabbing you once again, you reached to the guys around the table.

"Is it good? I like these little sandwiches they prepared. It's almost a party, right? Oh, this reminds me of something. When's your birthday? I kinda forgot."

Mingi asked you, smiling. Oh, that smile meant that he was preparing something. You didn't liked how that was sounding already.

"September, 18th. Why?"

"I remember that thing you said to me, earlier today. Oh, but it wasn't yours! It was Aron's birthday. Uh, my bad. Too much to think, you know?"

CHOI MINGI! Your mind was screaming his name, and he seemed to be having fun. 

"What? My birthday?"

"You see, it was your birthday, and you waited outside the college for..."

"Mingi! I think I heard someone calling you. You should check."

He chuckled at your despair.

"I'm going. Oh, but it was a dream, Aron. Sadly, because there was a kiss."

He left the corner and went to see someone that never called him. 

"What just happened?"

"Jonghyun, Minhyun, help me with these things..."

The guys left Aron and you alone. But you didn't wanna face him. So grabbing some grapes, you turned to the door, but Aron called you.

"What this is about?"

"I don't know."

"Did you dreamed about me?"

You never enjoyed lies. But there's things that are better if stays unsaid. Remaining in silence, the older man in front of you didn't stopped asking.

"Did we kiss?" 

And in the worst time ever, you choked on your soda. That was ridiculous. A lot of things could happen but no, you needed to choke. Suddenly, all the boys were around you, and you were feeling a little better. 

"We're ready to leave. Jonghyun, wait for me at the parking lot. Thank you all for coming, seriously. It meant a lot!"

You said your goodbyes to everyone, and only then, it hit you that Aron was your ride. 

"I can just take a taxi, Aron. It's okay. You already brought me here."

"And I'm gonna drive you back to your house, making sure that you're gonna be safe."

He opened the door for you, so you just waved to the guys looking at the situation right behind the cars, waving at you both.

The initial 20 minutes of the 30 at total to your house was in a completely and suffocating silence. But he couldn't stand it a minute longer.

"I don't wanna make you uncomfortable. And you don't need to hide anything from me."

"What do you mean? I'm not uncomfortable."

"This is literally the first time ever that we don't talk or sing driving to somewhere. Actually, you're avoiding me since I asked you if we kissed in your dream. It's ok, you don't need to answer me if that would make you uncomfortable. Just... Don't avoid me. I don't like to feel like I don't exist for you."

"I'm sorry. I didn't wanna make you feel like this. But... It's kinda weird, you know? It was just a dream, too. I didn't wanna talk about it and make you uncomfortable."

"I'm not, really."

So things seemed better now. It was still a silence, but not too heavy.

"We did kissed. Just a little peck. I got later because I missed the bus, but you received me entangling your arms on my waist and giving me a peck."

The car stopped on the red light. Aron was silent, but seemed amused.

"Don't laugh! I don't choose what I'm gonna dream about."

"It's ok. But you know what's funnier? I read sometime ago that we dream about things we want."

He looked at you and smiled, making your heart turning to the other side, just like his car entering your street. Your building was the brown one, the 5th on the peaceful street. Stopping right in front of it, you unbuckled from your seat and grabbed your purse, ready to thank Aron for the ride and get out to bury in your bed from embarassment. But he made you look at him first of all.

"Do you want me to kiss you?"

Straight to the point. His words echoing in your head, making you feel like it didn't happened at all. Were you hallucinating?

"What?"

Aron seemed a little nervous, but you couldn't sense that when his soft hand caressed your right cheek.

"Do you want me to kiss you?"

He shortened the distance, but not going any further without an answer.

"Yes..."

He didn't gave you time to think, nor even himself to be surprised. His plump lips met yours tasting like cocoa because of the lipbalm. Moving slowly, it seemed like only you existed in that moment. His mouth discovering yours, and being better than any dream, left you at ease. It was peaceful, tasty and heart fluttering kissing Aron. You only hoped he felt the same way, but the way his hand caressed your face and neck, and the little hummings assured you it was mutual. Too mutual to not stay like that for hours. 

"Let's take this to my place..."

He agreed and turned on the car once again, entering the building, making you wonder how long he was keeping these similar feelings to himself. Oh, but you were about to discover.
