Hello everyone! I haven't introduced myself so let me do so now.

You can call me Random (like my username) and I go by It/its primarily but Xe/xem (or Xe/xir both work) and or He/him if you really dislike using either of those.

・I'm a proud aroace genderfluid transmasc person. (Although for simplicities sake I'll usually say aromantic as that label fits me the best)

・I have a partner of about 6-7 months currently (Ash ilysm 💖)

・I absolutely adore Undertale (proud Undertale lover since December of 2021)

・My favorite characters are Flowey, Sans, Papyrus and Chara

・I pronounce Chara as "Car-a" (Char-a pronouncers I love y'all <3/p)

・I have autism, ADHD, depression, straight up anxiety, (they didn't tell me what it was RIP-) and that's just diagnosed. I also need sleepy meds for insomnia 👍

・Besides Undertale I have an adoration for Deltarune (Jevil my beloved/p), Sander sides, FNAF (I love the lore to death + Glamrock Chica can go f&%k herself for making my playthrough feel like hell for SB), Teddy Ruxpin of all things (I binged the whole series in a month and those are 20-40 minute episodes 😀), Smile precure (Smile precure 🤝 Glitter force), Little Big Planet (mostly 2,3 and SABA), TADC (The Amazing Digital Circus, also Caine>>>>>>Jax), DannoCalDraws/Short Wars (RIP Preston/Clone Riggy), Portal 1+2 (I'm late to the party by a lot but Whealty 🤝 GlaDOS=consuming my brain cells), SMG4 (SMG3 and Mr. Puzzles my beloved 😍/p), Omori (stuck at the 3 girls boss 😭) and I could go on tbh.

Oh hey!! I’m so glad to hear I’m not alone!

Tbh it’s taken me a few years to figure this out. I started using the aromantic label when I was 18 or 19, and then I got a huge crush on a girl and ended up in a really unhealthy relationship that ended last year. Thinking back, the initial feelings I had were similar to those of having a special interest or hyperfixation. I think my aromanticism is highly affected by my autism and ADHD, which would explain why I get super intense crushes that fade if the person shows interest in me. The only times the feelings don’t fade are when the person I’m interested in is inconsistent with their affection. I’ve learned that I just hyperfixate on people, and that me having a crush on someone does not mean I should pursue anything with that person. I still like to refer to my hyperfixations on people as crushes though, because in a lot of ways they’re similar.

I occasionally get hyperfixated when I make a new friend, since I’m very excited by the prospect of getting to know new people. Eventually my hyperfixation fades and all that remains are platonic feelings, which can sometimes lead to the person being confused. I don’t know if you can relate to any of this, but I’m typing it out in the hopes that maybe someone will? At least it’s cool to know that someone else feels the same. Thank you for reaching out ❤️
