He likes to chill back stage with you- which he expects automatically that he gets to be in the back because he's his S/O's boyfriend and because he's the leader of the greatest band ever- his words not mine

If/When you collab he was iffy on wether he wanted you to duet with 2D at first because he's a bit jealous

But he can't argue with what sounds good, and the voice of his amazing S/O, and the voice of the singer in HIS BAND is something that is he needs for his next album

Murdoc will always talk about how he could go solo too if he wanted to, once he learned his S/O was a solo act

If he drinks too much when you guys are hanging out he will start singing himself, and encouraging his S/O to sing with him

When recording he will give you as nice of criticism as he can if your not hitting the right notes or arn't in the right pitch- but satan forbit one of the others try to give you constructive criticism, especially 2D

Whenever he has nightmares about his childhood and his dad, and his S/O's around he finds it comforting if his S/O hummed to him but he won't ask you to hum to him though because he's scared that you'ed think he's weak

And if your not around when he's haveing a nightmare, he'll listen to one of your songs to calm himself down

If his S/O's a smaller and less well known singer- he will often tells his S/O how he can hook them up with good produser(even if S/O already has one) and anything that you as a smaller creator may not have access to, and will promote you sometimes like on an interview

And even if you are just as popular he can be a bit stuck up and will be like 'Yeah but, Gorillaz is little bit more popular'

Murdoc has mentioned before that he's glad that your a soloist, because he would feel bad for your band mates because of how bad you would out shine them

He wants to lay his head on you, and let you sing to him but he's to nervous

Noodle

Noodle is can be quite the extrovert, so she would love to go out and do karaoke with her S/O

Noodle was so excited when it was decided that her S/O and Gorillaz was going to collab, cuz it means being with her adopted family and her lover at the same time- she was just so happy to have the people she loved most in the same room

She almost tears up duing a live performance collab because everthing feels so perfect and amazing at that point in time she can't help be a bit emotional

Noodle will travel the world to see her S/O preform at concerts

She would be absolutely in love if her S/O could sing in different languages

She has all your albums, murch- everything

Noodle would be delited to help write your songs

ANY ONE WHO CRITICIZES HER S/O'S MUSIC WILL FACE HER WRATH, it doesn't matter if she likes the kind of music her S/O makes she will beat the shit out of anyone who is rude

She is your personal body guard, like why would you need a body guard when you have a Noodle

She introduced you to 2D and Russel before the collab because her S/O and 2D are both singers and she thought 2D needed a singer friend that wasn't connected through work, and Russel is her dad who did the most parenting so it was like a meet the parent situation Sorry Mudoc :/

She will ask her S/O to sing to her somtimes, most often when you two are alone

Noodle has a LOT of respect for her S/O because managing a music career by yourself can be quite hard, especially to her because she grew up in a band with other people so she could never imagine doing it alone

She like catching her S/O singing to themself when they are alone, because she loves to see her S/O flustered, and if you don't get flustered she still likes to see them surprised to see her

"Hey S/O, about our date- I was thinking.... karaoke!"

2D

2D is ecstatic to have a S/O that is also a singer

He is just so happy to have someone to relate to

Before 2D even starts dating his S/O(like in crush faze) he would have already asked S/O to do a collab as a way to get closer with them

Like Noodle, 2D owns a lot of his S/O's merchandise not as much as her but still a lot

He likes to atend his S/O's concerts but prefers to watch back stage because while he loves his fans and fan interactions he also hates the idea of taking attention away from his S/O at his S/O's concert, and due to his very recognizable appearance he is likely going to draw attention to himself in a crowd of people

2D will blab to anyone who will listen about his S/O and their solo career as a singer, this is the case often in interviews where the interviewers ask about y'alls relationship

When talking with his S/O and his S/O's career as a singer he has forgoten he was a singer himself

2D tends subconsciously sing or hum to himself, and if his S/O joined him in his little tune he would melt into putty- though it would take him a hot second to realize that they where singing with them

He's fascinated by the fact that his S/O's are a solo singer, and often asks you about it, though he often gets off track with his questions

PLEASE write a love song about him, if you do his heart will die of happiness

When it comes time for the collaboration 2D gets distracted constantly, by his S/O, and their voice specifically

While 2D getting distracted in the studio isn't new, but him getting distracted while recording is, as he tends to hyperfixate on singing when recording- but now half way through the lyrics he just slowly stops and stares at his S/O like nothing else in the world exists- with a goofy euphoric grin on his face, and when S/O stops cuz he stoped he'll mutter out praise about S/O's voice/singing Much to the others dissmay

Russel

Russel is a very supportive boyfriend

Out of all of the band mates he's the one that doesn't mind watching from the crowd the most- but much like 2D he doesn't like taking attention away from his S/O

If you show him the lyrics to a song you are working on he likes to suggest beats that might sound good with it

While Russel was happy to collaborate with his S/O, he's the least thrilled about it in the group- as he likes to balance his work life and home life as much as he can even though its really hard to so bring his love life into work life isn't exactly thrilling for him I mean did you see how it worked out for 2D

Russel is also the most professional when it comes time to collaborate with his S/O, like I said he tries to separate home life and work life and he does this by acting professional and trying to ignore the fact he is dating the person he is working with

Whenever the bands on tour and he misses his S/O he likes to listen to S/O's music even if it's not his type of music, but he usually won't really listen to the collab music at that time because it only makes him think of work(also no one but Noodle knows he does this)

And to add on to him and his S/O's music, Russel likes to suggest his S/O's music but he's very sublet about it

Besides actually collaborating as a work thing, he likes to help his S/O with their songs, whether it be helping with lyrics, what instruments to use, or with beats- though he rarely does this as he is usually he is exhausted with making music from work

He's overall just really chill about it in general, he's doesn't mind that your a soloist, and out of everyone he's the most neutral in that category

Though Russel sometimes jokes about how he's jealous that you don't have to deal with band mates and that he wishes he was a solo act or that he was in a band with his S/O instead

I mean Russel loves his band mates but sometimes they can be down right obnoxious *cough* 2D *cough* Murdoc

Also Russel likes helping his S/O pick out their stage outfit/make up for live performances and/or music videos

Bolt Paper and Fire Paper

Let's start with Fire Paper. As you can see from this image, it appears to be a strip of something that is on fire. Obviously. But you can see that it isnt just magic paper. There's clearly some sparks creating the fire and it isnt actually paper, but some kind of leather strip. The in game description doesn't give much, but it was created in the Healing Church workshop sometime AFTER the burning of Old Yharnam, or at least became popular during that time.

Let's move on to The Cooler Paper.

Looking at those two closely, you can already see many differences between these icons. The Bolt Paper clearly has some kind of fur on the larger end, which the sparks are causing to stand on end. This is already hinting towards its orgin, but i'll explain it in detail. Bolt Paper and the Tonitri (Tonitruses?) were created by Archibald. This Archibald fellow was an absolute lunatic of a Church Hunter. Unlike his other inventions, Hunters actually used this one, especially if they had never seen Darkbeasts. This is probably because if had associated the power of lightning with a Beast, it would be seen similar to Irreverent Izzys creations of Beast Roar and Claw. Anyways, Archibalds story starts in Ailing Loran, possible origin of the beast plague and home to many powerful beasts. This Chalice Dungeon is where we fight a lot of beasts. Beast Patients and Werewolves mostly, but the bosses are something special. The Loran Silverbeast, Abhorrent Beast, and Loran Darkbeast all have something in common besides being Beasts. They naturally generate bolt within their fur. Like Miyazakis little demented pokemon, they increase in size and electricity production as you go up, with Darkbeasts at the top of the food chain in Loran. On one dungeon run, Archibald must have seen a Darkbeast sparking with power and thought "thats cool as fuck" and sought to recreate the bolt... and succeded.

So that's it for the origin of the two. But what about the symbolism? Well the first part is obvious enough. As with all sets of two in Bloodborne, they represent the opposition of Laurence and Willem. Insight and Beasthood. Red and Blue. Cummmfpk Chalice and Pig Fisting. Fire for Beasts, and Bolt for despicable blobby things.

Relating it more specifically than that, it is quite obvious in the game that while Laurences obsession with the Blood and Willems obsession with Insight both royally fucked up, the Blood has caused more destruction across Bloodborne as a whole. So why do powerful Beasts use Bolt? More than just a evolutionary or biological defense mechanism, I think that Bolt using Beasts were created to hunt down and kill Kin, and possibly even Great Ones. It is heavily hinted that Oedon created the Plague of the Beast or Ashen Blood and that they are the result of an eldrich laison to seek to a surrogate child. Oedon could be sabotaging the work of more sympathetic Great Ones like Ebrietas or Kos by causing Beasts to destroy the Kin experiments of the Church and the School of Mensis. In a Bloodborne Comic, a deranged man sees visions of several bosses and things in Yharnam, but one of the coolest visuals is that of a Darkbeast, presumable Paarl, fighting The One Reborn. While the One Reborn is both a failed Great One and not considered Kin, the image of a Beast literally ripping the magnum opus of Yahar'Gul to shreds invokes quite a feeling. I know the comics arn't canon but they do seem to have a good understand of Bloodborne lore. Plus the art there is cool as hell.

So, that's my thoughts on Bolt vs Fire. Bolt Paper isn't the true path to godhood or anything but I think the "anti-kin beasts" theory is interesting and i've never seen anything about it.

Long rant post

I'm not one for mope or complain, i normally say "it is what it is" and move on but its actually getting really disappointing and upsetting how little recognition my art has been getting. I know how much my art is worth, ive seen it flourish and develop in front of my eyes for nearly 12 years now, i know how much my work deserves. Ive been doing my Book of Life series for about 4 days now, and yeah sure that's not a long time, but ive been using this flow of drawings to test something. there's a theory that the more consistently you post, the more likely your posts will be pushed to your mutuals, tags, whatever. and that theory has been obviously proven, very clearly, to be untruthful. My best friend, bless their heart, has been supporting my posts, yes, and i deeply appreciate it. but having one or two people pass by with a like and nothing else, is really demotivating. Currently, Im rendering another drawing, Carmelo, from a few posts ago. Ive spent the entire afternoon getting every detail as accurate as i can. and half way through painting, i took a step back and realised that no one will see and appreciate my passion and love for this movie and its beautiful characters; im simply 9 years too late. and it really upset me. All my posts up up until now have been about Team Fortress 2, and yes i still love the game, i always will i want to reach out beyond the confines of the fandom. And it really breaks my heart to see that the moment i try something new, suddenly, no one wants to see me. no one says anything or even looks at me. All the mutuals and connections that ive made suddenly just disappear and dont want anything to do with me, all that support just vanishes.

My posts arn't getting attention because its not some random guy saying "Balls" in cursive text with some one rebloging it with "Testicles even", im not even kidding a post like this can get 10k within a month. My posts arnt getting noticed because they're not some suggestive photo of some random white guy from a Netflix show you've never heard about. My posts are not even making to my mutuals pages because what im drawing is not mainstream. Its indie, its old, its not popular. and i feel that no matter how old or unpopular something is, it should still get to stand with the others. i understand that beggars cant be choosers, and that i wont always get what i want, but hell i still have the right to complain and yell into the empty void that is the Book of Life tags, where posts from nearly 6 years ago reside, forgotten and tossed away. But im being dramatic. I really thought vassa x lucien was a bigger ship but turns out their first post as v/ucien was in april, 2021 and v/assien one in march, 2021 on ig and twitter isn't much better?!?! no hate towards shippers of this pairing but it just proves that all the fame thy got based on the big chance e/lriel arn't endgame so that's why they needed to create a vision as if everything is ok and v/assien is popular and obvious

And this is why e*riel became a thing in the first place - to replace moriel before Mor came out in acowar. People have other reasons they ship it now, but they joined the fandom to a ready-made group of people who shipped this thing that had zero evidence when it came into existence, all because certain portions of the fandom hated Mor, thus disliked moriel, and needed an alternative. Again, this was pre-acowar. But I could root around in my blog for the evidence if people want it.

V*cien as a ship is the same situation, that's why I called it a PR campaign more than a ship.

Did people ship it after acowar? Yes, because they liked e*riel and needed somewhere to shove Lucien and he blushed (though if you read the actual scene he's blushing because he doesn't want Elain to get the wrong impression and she's right there).

Has the activity picked up lately - again, months after acosf came out, similar to how e*riel became a thing months after acomaf came out - because they are losing confidence in e*riel and shipping vucien makes it seem more likely? Yes.

My thoughts on Daria ep2 s1 The Invitation

. Like I said in the first of this series, I adore Daria's theme song. Though I am a little disappointed that "Nothing is like I planned it, so funny I can't stand it, wish I was made of granite, I must be on another planet" isn't in there.

A strange meeting

Im (Y/N) i have 19 years old, as part of my studies at the university, I decided to leave for a year in England to perfect my English, as an absolute fan of the Beatles, I obviously chose the University of Liverpool. I absolutely wanted to immerse myself in this city that gave birth to my favorite band.

I managed to find a roommate in a big house with 3 other foreign students, there is Luna who is Spanish, Michelle is French, Eline is Dutch, we have about the same age, and the same passions, especially with Michelle, who owes her name to her mother who is also a Beatles fan.

All saturday night we like to go together to the Cavern Club, mythical place to listen to new bands and have a drink and meet lots of new people.

after a great new evening, we go home, and I go to bed listening as usual my playlist with all the Beatles albums by looking at their pictures, on different social networks, especially the photos of Ringo who is just the man of my dreams at any era, I also love to read fanfictions especially the smut ones with Ringo, until I fall asleep.

I wake up slowly with the presence of human warmth at my side and a sweet scent of cologne with musk mixed with the smell of tobacco, I gently open my eyes and I see a young Ringo sleeping peacefully at my side, even more beautiful than in my usual dreams, he opens in turn his beautiful blue baby eyes, I literally melted of love, my God that this dream looks so real! I don't want to wake up, and he says with his beautiful deep voice "Damn, I should'nt drink so much, I can't remember how I ended up in the bed of such pretty bird" WHAT? Wait a minute it's not a dream, I open my eyes wide and I get up with a start, dead with fear, he looks at me with big astonished eyes, and there I turn my head and I see lying on the floor of my room Paul, John and George, I think I'm going to faint, I didn't drink much last night, and I don't take drugs, what is this shit, they wake up slowly and there I start screaming and crying, shouting their names, and repeating that it's impossible, and that i need to wake up.

John looks at me amused and says "wow I know I'm used to make girls shout, but not at this point, especially since we are not very famous yet" and they start all 4 to laugh. "Not famous yet???" "you're just the biggest rock band of all time, and you tell me you're not famous?" Paul laughingly replies that they are quite popular in Liverpool, but not the best rock band in the world at the moment.

my roommates worried, quickly get into my bedroom.

"what's going on?" Says Michelle, "And what are these 4 boys doing in your room, when did you bring them back?"

"This 4 boys?, Are you kiding me, Michelle?? You don't recognize them?"

"Huuum sorry, but no..."

"Wow, Michelle what a lovely name and nice outfit" says Paul!

it was summer and we had only very light pajamas, which did not hide much of our bodies. But in 2019 it was not indecent, which wasn't the case in their time, hence their amazed looks.

"Thanks" she said, embarrassed by his insistent gaze, which undressed her from head to foot.

George said "see, we arn't so famous yet, your friends didn't know us, you're must be a crazy fan"

"Ok, ok it must be a fucking prank, where is the camera? Congratulations, girls you found great look-alikes, very similar by the way, but that's it, all the good jokes have an end"

"You've gone crazy (Y/N)", Luna told me worried, "or did you take drugs last night?"

I rolled my eyes, searching for my phone under my pillow.

"Wtf is that thing?" asks me Ringo.

"A phone... you brought guys as nut as you to what I see" Said Eline.

"Im not crazy and im gonna prove it, it's all of you, who're nuts!"

And then, no more Beatles playlist on my phone, no more pictures, and no more of their posters on my walls.

I do a quick search on google, and nothing about the Beatles, nothing, I start crying again, i didnt understand about what's going on.

Ringo look at my phone like a small kid who discovers the world.

"Wait a minute, love, why there is this date on your weird phone"

"Because we are in 2019, August 23, what year do you think we are?"

"What the hell, are you fucking kiding us" said John really afraid.

"We're in August, 23, 1962, we were at a party last night organized by our manager, to celebrate the arrival of our new drummer, and we have to record our first record in a few days" sais Paul.

Im trying to calm down, and explain to them as quietly as possible that something really strange is happening.

"Really, guys, just look at us, look at the style of the room, my phone, our clothes, our hairstyles, do you really get to see that in 1962?"

"And girls, look at them, do they really look like to boys of 2019?"

Ringo pulled out a cigarette pack from the pocket of his jacket, lighting a cigarette with an old vintage lighter.

"See, look at the pack, the lighter it no longer exists in our time"

"I must admit that they seem to have come from another time, says Michelle"

"but they come from another time, what Paul has just said is true, the first official Beatles concert with Ringo at the Cavern Club was on August 22, 1962, why am I the only one to remember them?"

"we should really stop drinking so much, what are we doing here, how did we get in 2019, what is this shit" said George panicked.

"I really don't know how you made it to land here, but we must find a way to get you back to your era, otherwise no more Beatles, and impossible for me to imagine a life without listening to your music."

Oh and another thing I don't hate Sarah. Sarah is a queen and Brendon and her are happy and I wouldn't want to ruin a happy couple cos that would be unfair anyhow oh and I also think it's important to have a bit of Panic! history that many people might not know about as it gives you an idea of the kind of time frame that im talking about also its intresting too.

And if u don't know what Ryden is (tbf idk why ur here but this will educate u) it's basically the ship name of Ryan Ross (ex guitarist and backing vocalist of panic!) and Brendon Urie (singer and last man standing)

Ryan Ross and Spencer Smith (ex-drummer of Panic!) have been friends even since they were little the photo below would prove this

In 9th grade they decide that they want to start up a band btw for reference Ryan and Spencer at that time attend (Bishop Gorman high school) and they invite Brent Wilson from Palo Verde high school to come and try out for bass along with another guy called Trevor they formed a band called Pet Salamnder this was when they were around 16 ish (They acctually still have a website for the band and you can go check it out if you want)

Anyways don't really know what happened to Pet Salamander but in short they kind of lost Trevor (don't know correct me if im wrong but I think Trevor was the guitarist in the way things worked out it would make sense and I think there was another band they created in between these 2 bands but idk its not important) The band now needed a new guitarist. Brent who went to the same high school as Brendon told him he should audition for their band so Brendon did just that and became the guitarist. Orginally Ryan was meant to be the lead singer but Brendon then became the lead singer because they heard him do his singing and they though he was good. At the time especially Ryan and Brendon were having a hard time with their families and their education as they wanted to quit high school and as a result I think they both got kicked out of their houses . Brendon got a job at a smoothie shack to try and earn some money to pay for rent. He also would sing to people for tips. In other words they were hella broke.

Anyways Ryan and Brendon started creating the demos for their album and Ryan decided to send them to Pete Wentz who was in the LV area recording under the cork tree with FOB. Pete listened to the demos and signed them up to his new record label decaydance after hearing them perform 2/3 songs.

AFYCSO era 2005/6

AFYCSO was released on the 27th September 2005 on that same day Ryan posted something in his livejournal (I'm not sure if it was just something to commemorate it being released or if he was acctually in a relationship at this time but here is what he put)

(Yes this could be about Brendon but when you read it again it dosen't sound like that at all it seems as if hes talking about the lyrics and the meanings of the songs of which have things he had to deal with in his childhood his dad being an alcoholic ect. But he tries to be happy with the fans who are smiling and singing and live in the moment not just the past)

Obviously AFYCSO became popular especially the song I write sins not tragedies came out but there's many different interviews and pic that i'm going to share below.

Anyways 2006 is when it all became big for the boys who announced a tour and where becoming bigger than ever. At the end of 2005 to 2006 both Brendon and Ryan began dating scene queens Audrey and Jac. Pics below

As much as I am deeply frustrated by Christians as a whole the mythology and history around it is very interesting especially around popular religion. Like it's so hodgepodge that some of the characters people know arn't even from Christian texts. Then they have the audacity to claim only their religion is correct, when they can't even stand to be in a church that has a slightly different way of worship.

I have this one close friend that stans rv and it's gud cuz I think rv is talented and stuff (I don't consider myself a full Stan but I def do listen to their content) but it grinds my gears when my friend says shit like "fuck you if you don't listen to rv" like????Everyone has different taste in music, as long as they arn't shitting on rv, its fine if they dont listen to them. and she also complains about them not being popular but being from a big company gave a lot of exposure from the start

rv def had the skill to bring up their popularity which is why they get so much wins. But hearing my friend complain about how they don’t get much attention pains me because I see so many other girl groups that’s been in the kpop industry for so long and still has no recognition what so ever. Ex. Nine muses, stellar, dal shaver, fiestar. It makes me feel like she’s so close minded about the kpop industry

Red Velvet is not everyone’s cup of tea and to be honest, I personally think they wouldn’t be this big if they weren’t from SM Entertainment. I’m not saying they aren’t talented, but SM definitely helped them a lot. There are so many talented girl groups out there which deserve way more attention and recognition. Unfortunately, most underrated groups are from small companies which don’t have the name nor resources to compete in marketing and production, so they end up getting lost in the shuffle. It’s really sad how only a few of them are slowly growing while many are still underappreciated. :-(
