oh my god the ending… see I thought I was giving Armand the benefit of the doubt by saying that he didn’t really know that much about the play like at most he told the coven that Louis was planning on turning Madeline, but as matter of fact, this bitch directed the play and was writing notes in the script for cues and shit 💀💀 ALSO even better!! He didn’t even save Louis in the end it ended up being LESTAT!!!! he was the one that was mind controlling everyone because it never made sense to me like why have Louis be deemed guilty but then like banish him like I feel like the banishment was like a worse alternative to just like dying in the sun, but that’s just me 🤪 I just can’t believe he like directed the whole fucking play like that’s like so insane to me and that he was willing to let Louis die for whatever reason, but even though he ended up saving him from the coffin after the fact and taking credit for saving him, which is also such an insane thing to do 😭😭
like I love Armand a lot he was just so insanely unwell for like Louis and like his validation and everything and it’s also ridiculous that after Louis killed everyone in the coven and then went to go find Lestat the only reason that Louis and Armand were together to this day was so that Louis could basically punish Lestat by not being with him and being with Armand and why the fuck would Armand put up with that? I have no idea and I want to say I feel like at some point, especially since they were together for so long. I feel like there is definitely a point in time where Armand felt like they were actually able to form an actual relationship instead of Louis just being with him out of spite 🫡 and it also brings into their whole fight in San Francisco into perspective because they probably were at a point where Armand felt like they were comfortable enough in the relationship and then like Daniel came along and gave Louis the opportunity to speak about Lestat all he wanted because Louis probably knew that he was alive and knew that he would probably try to seek him out if he was like talking shit about him in an interview 💀 so like no wonder Armand was like super pissed about that I kind of understand though lmao 🫣 thinking louis finally moved on from lestat to find out that he absolutely did not
my man is the gaslight king even at the very end he was trying to deny the information that was given to Louis like blaming it on santiago (who conveniently cannot defend himself) and trying to say like oh because it was 70 years ago he should be over it by now (by it he means claudia’s death and his betrayal 🥴) and that they’re able to move on and like have an actual relationship and should let such an insignificant detail get inbetween them and he was also saying some shit about like being each other’s like teachers for one another or some shit like that and like whatever Louis finds happiness in Armand will and I think that’s just very insane of him and I love him very much for it tbh I need to learn how to be that delusional when I get in a relationship 🤪 so unwell my guy i love this show
however, I will say that when Louis actually did end up encountering lestat back in New Orleans I was very glad they did not make him a decrepit like gross version of himself, but I’m also glad that Louis decided that he’s good enough to be his own companion now and that he’s able to sort of venture off on his own and be his own person and find out who he is because to be honest for the past two seasons, his whole self has been determined by what person he was romantically entangled with at the time and a lot of what happened in the story was because he was in very toxic romantic relationships with people so I’m glad he’s actually taking the chance to venture off on his own so I really hope that he’ll become more of an interesting character later on 🥲
iwtv is probs the most recent show to literally drive me up the wall i need to know what is going on and why there is so much deception lie there's many moving parts idk where to even start and as someone who has no patience to read the books (im still trying to get through the first one) it's hard!! bc even then book readers dont know what's going on
the trial was just super weird like too many little details i need to rewatch it tbh but it's such a sucky episode tbh :((( hard to rewatch but i need to
like i can’t even write what i think and my reactions bc im so discombobulated w my thoughts about this show
like i feel like the fact that there’s only one more episode left and so many questions left unanswered and idk if they’re even going to be answered this season??? insane actually
