It was a horrendous habit. I shouldn’t be doing this. Though it was a habit that she just couldn’t seem to kick. Arizona found that she didn’t give a damn in that moment. Lit cigarette half way to her lips, she whirled around, the sound of shoes shuffling catching her attention. “Oh, I uh... didn’t know anyone else was out here. I um-- okay, you caught me. I don’t do this often. Just when I’m really stressed. ...Which... is a lot lately.” An exasperated sigh left her lips.

JULIA OGDEN & ARIZONA ROBBINS [ friends with benefits ] BASED ON THIS MEME

          It wasn’t as if Julia Ogden was old per-se but sometimes anything that had to do with technology made her head spin unless it was something with surgery. Otherwise, Dr. Ogden would have rather just ignored the stupid cell phone devices that she knew if she didn’t carry around with her made her miss out on anything important at Grey Memorial Hospital. She had just gotten a new job there and so far things were going well though she was having a difficult time getting to know people there as they all seemed very close nit. Still, Julia had definitely taken a liking to a one Arizona Robbins and how could she not have? 

         After hanging out a few times together, Julia could feel the tension between them and after a one disastrous day, the new comer had ran into Arizona at the pub across the street. That night she had taken Arizona home and they were now what you could call, “friends with benefits.” The thought made Julia’s heart flutter every time she thought of Arizona which was also one of the only other reasons she carried her stupid cell phone around with her. Once in awhile Arizona would text her and they would meet. up somewhere and that was what Julia was hoping would happen that day. Yet, there she stay looking at her unappetizing salad when she saw the other woman approaching.

        “Arizona, hi. I mean, Dr. Robbins. Just the person I was thinking of. Would you like to sit? i wouldn’t mind some company. Unless, that is - you’d like to go somewhere else entirely.” @musesinked​
