Ava: You need to stay in temporal zone longer, the government waits for you to land so they can arrest the crew and confiscate the ship. Let Gideon know she has to hide the position of the ship next time you are landing, not quicker than in 8 days.

Ava: block all of the couriers, non beside mine should be allowed to enter the ship, I'm sure Gideon knows which one I have on me. I'm working on blocking the rest and masking your position from Bureau for as long as I can keep them away from you.

Sara: Ava, of course I will do all of these things. But what the heck is going on?

ETTA & FINLEY​:

Despite their hell of a romantic streak, Fin didn’t go on many dates.  Their circle of friends was pretty tight and it didn’t seem like you could just meet somebody out in the wild browsing records or at the coffee shop anymore.  Then there was Etta who was there along but Fin thought she was far too out of their league to even humor the idea.  

As they walk out of the restaurant after their dinner, Fin reaches for her hand, a small blush coating their cheeks.  Part of them feels like they’re in middle school with a crush all over again.  “I hope you know that wasn’t all I have up my sleeve.  No good date ends before ice cream,” they smirk nodding their head in the direction of the ice cream shop.

Honestly, Etta couldn’t believe that this was happening as she thought Finley was way too far out of her league. And yet, there she was waiting for the clock to tick by so that she could go on her date with them. The dinner had passed really well and Etta had very much enjoyed the conversation, as well as sneaking glances at Fin when Etta thought that the other wasn’t loking.

Once outside of the restaurant, Etta felt Finley take her hand, and Etta threaded her fingers through theirs. Her whole entire body tingling at the touch. It was so crazy how their date made them feel and the 911 dispatcher couldn’t remember the last time she had felt this way about anyone. So, raising her eyebrows playfully at Fin, Etta chuckled. “Oh yea h? I didn’t think so. You’re far too smooth for that.”

Grinning excitedly, Etta practically bounced up and down. “Did you say ice cream Fin? Yes please. Ice cream happens to be one of my favourite things that I think should be it’s own food group.”

KENNEDY & LUNA​:.

It had been ages since she witnessed a storm quite like this one. The lights kept flickering on and off while the backup generator didn’t seem to give them much power. Nurses and doctors seemed to be running left and right, checking on the patients who needed the most care in a time like this. Originally, Luna had planned on going home for once at a normal time, but it seemed like her shift was long from over once the power cut out completely.

Walking with Kennedy brought her some peace of mind, that is until Kennedy to quite the spill. Luna gasped as she saw the woman, blood coming down her face. Instead of panicking, Luna remained calm. “Oh, Ken,” she mumbled as she knelt down to her, inspecting the gash. Luna was quick to use the sleeve of her own scrubs to clean off the blood. She managed to let out a small laugh at Kennedy’s comment. “You definitely hit your head hard, alright.” Helping her to her feet, she guided the woman over to an empty room for patients. “Lets get you cleaned up…” Except everything was dark from the power out and made Luna’s job all that much harder. “What’s the pain like, honey? How bad is it?” she asked as she looked for a flash light to get a better look.

Kennedy hitting her head hard was an understatement. The brunette put her fingers to her forehead and felt blood on her skin. She grimaced at the sight and gave Luna a lopsided grin. “I like it when you call me pet names like honey.” She rambled on a bit and squinted at the other woman. Then, feeling slightly dizzy, Kennedy leaned back on the stairs with her elbows propping her up. “It hurts a lot, but don’t worry about me Luna. You should go help other patients who need more assistance.” Kennedy waved the blonde away dismissively. 

The brunette shivered, pretty sure that the heat was no longer working in the hospital and the stairway definitely didn’t have good insulation. “Seriously though, I can totally walk.” Kennedy began and slowly pushed herself up and made her way to the door and pushed. How ever, no matter how hard she pushed and pushed it wouldn’t open. “Uh, Luna... do you know why the doors seem to be locked?”

RILAND & PAISLEY​:

This seemed to be their pattern. It really was. Somehow though they would end up back together. Maybe that was why they were toxic but Paisley couldn’t picture her life with anyone but Riland. She was the only one that Paisley wanted. Things seemed different this time, she was cuddled up into the other woman. Paisley hadn’t thrown her out this time. So that had to be a good sign right? Last thing that the brunette wanted to do was let Riland go. Truthfully she just wanted her to come back even after Paisley would be the one to kick her out. Sometimes she would just lay in her bed, go to work and repeat the process whenever Riland was gone. She wouldn’t go out unless she had to. It was like her depression took over whenever the blonde wasn’t with her.

The words that Riland spoke, Paisley knew she was right. But the brunette was selfish and all she wanted was them. “I know. But it isn’t what I want. What I want is a better life with you. Not without you. I’m not okay without you.” She admitted softly. Paisley looked up at her with pleading eyes. “Please stay with me, us. Please, Ri. I need you. I need you more than what you or I even realize. We both need you.” She told her softly. This was hard to admit but she wanted Riland to know. “I love you. Please don’t leave. No matter what.”

Running her fingers through her own hair, Riland scoffed. She hadn’t meant to give even more attitude to Paisley than she already had but it was like she just couldn’t stop. “Aren’t you tired of the same damn thing?” Riland asked, peering through her locks at her wife and the mother of their child. I’ve been told over and over by people that I’m not going to change.” Riland grunted in frustration. “You, the only person I hurt more than anyone else apparently say otherwise.” There was also their child who loved Riland un-conditionally and if she ever did anything to break that trust than Riland would never forgive herself.

The older woman took another sip of her scotch and waved her free hand in the air dramatically. “But that’s the thing. You are better without me.” Downing the rest of the alcohol, Riland stared into her wife’s eyes. “Tell me Pai, when is the last time you were happy? I bet you can’t think of one time it’s been with me.”

CELESTE & EVAN​:

Evan sighed and moved out of the way to let Celeste inside. “Come, you’re going to get sick if you stay out like this.” She wasn’t sure if this was a good idea. The blonde had really hurt her when she found out that she had been lied to for so long. It wasn’t easy to forgive even if at this point she had at least come to understand why it had happened. “I’ll get you a change of close, you know where the bathroom is.” 

Frowning, Celeste moved her dishevelled wet hair out of her face and gave Evan an unsure look. “Evan, you really don’t have to. I shouldn’t have just come here like this.” The blonde hadn’t even considered it could have down poured and hadn’t even brought an umbrella with her. Still, Celeste entered Evan’s home and nodded. “Yeah, okay. Right. Bathroom.” Ducking her head, the princess walked to the bathroom and went inside; she couldn’t help but stare at herself in the mirror. She looked a fright. Her make up was all smeared, her hair was in knots. Suddenly, her heat thudded in her chest wildly; unsure of why she had even come in the first place when it was clear that Evan was still acting cooly towards her, because of course of the biggest lie she had ever told.

SALLEM & GABRIELA​:

Gabriela hadn’t fell for someone so quickly before. It scared her and she wasn’t sure how to react to it. Things between the younger woman and herself just clicked. That alone had been scary. Plus she wasn’t one to open up about her feelings either. Sometimes that worried the older woman because she wasn’t sure she felt things. But she did towards Salem and whenever she would lose a patient.

Gabby leaned into her touch, moving her lips to kiss her palm for a moment before looking back towards Salem. “I do believe that. If anything that I believe in my life it’s that because I do love you, Salem. I do. Even if it’s hard for me to express those feelings. Just know if it’s one thing that is true, it’s that.”

It took Salem a few minutes to register what the older woman had just told her. The words I love you that had just come from her lips had been something that Salem had been waiting to hear ever since she had said them to Gabriela a few weeks ago. “You do?” Salem questioned, a small smile forming on her mouth, her heart beating quickly in her chest. “You’re not just saying it to make me happy are you?” Salem pursed her lips together and placed her forehead against the older woman’s, wanting to be closer to her.

“You know what, you don’t need to answer that because even if you don’t express things like I do or others do, I know you do. I feel it everyday and every time that you look at me.” Salem threaded her fingers through her girlfriend’s hair affectionately. “So, I will show the love we have for one another for the both of us. That is a promise.”

ASTRID & LINDSAY​:

wiping at the tears that fell down her cheeks, lindsay sighed when her hand was reached out for, making her turn to look at her ex-wife. “please don’t call me that,” she breathed out, swallowing hard because it was so hard to hear something that astrid always called her when they were together. they had been in each others lives for such a long time, as best friends first before it turned into something more and lindsay wasn’t sure how to live a life without astrid in it. obviously astrid would still be in her life in some respects, they had two children together and she would always be the mother of their children. as astrid spoke, lindsay ran her free hand over her face as she willed herself not tro cry anymore. she’d cried too much over their failed marriage and she was so tired. “what do you mean you don’t know what you’re going to do now?” a little frustrated, she pulled her hand out of her ex-wife’s and dropped it to her side. “you’re confusing me, this isn’t fair.” lindsay didn’t want to be in the mess they were in but she didn’t know how to fix it. “we just need to be the best parents we can be to our kids.”

things had spiralled so far out of control that astrid was having a difficult time remembering how they had even gotten there in the first place. “right, sorry. old habits die hard i guess.” astrid hated to see lindsay cry as just because they were getting a divorce, this didn’t meant that astrid didn’t care about the other woman. massaging her own temples, astrid squinted at her ex-wife. “i mean i can’t imagine a world that doesn’t have you in it. what i mean is that i’m going to miss you.” astrid swallowed thickly trying to choke back her own tears. 

losing her eyes, astrid steadied herself. “linda, what if we... what if we are making the biggest mistake of our lives by going through with this divorce?” astrid asked, her fingers toying anxiously with her necklace that she wore. which had been one of the last gifts her ex had given her. “like you said, you can’t just easily give this all up. so, what if we... what if we don’t?”

SADIE & RAMONA​:

Ramona let out a groan as she shook her head some as she looked to the blonde. She never really understood the appeal of Sadie, especially with the way that she was acting now. “Maybe if you weren’t being so loud, you’d hear what I fuckin’ said.” She said leaning forwards some. “You are being disrespectful to all the neighbors that live around you. Some of them have children. Just be somewhat fuckin’ kind.”

“You know, you never complained much when it was you making those noises. And when did you start caring about anyone other than yourself? Huh, Ramona?’ Sure, Sadie was being snarky but she didn’t care. The other woman was getting on her last nerve. “Anyway, you can get off your high horse. She’s gone and you know what? You can leave to thank you very much. Let me enjoy my drink in peace.”

HONORA & PHOEBE​

“Oh no. You don’t need to know anything about religion. I think our family just uses it as an excuse to do some sort of family reunion.” Phoebe said as she let out a small giggle, her cheeks starting to blush as she bit her bottom lip. “I mean, we do get a nice place to stay and some decent food as well. So I guess that it is some form of payment there.”

Honora couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief. “Well alright then. Why the hell not?” The fact was that usually the TV news anchor would just take on an extra shift so that others could go home for their holidays; so why not for once go to someone else’s and have a home cooked meal. “Sure sweetheart, yes.” Honora smirked at Phoebe and nodded. “Yes I will go with you and pretend to be your girlfriend.”

ADRIA VALENTINE & MACKENZIE CARTER  [ i need you to stay here, i got this ] CARING STARTERS / OPEN

         Frowning, Adria Valentine looked over at her girlfriend whose eyes were looking into her own, so soft and caring. The cheerleader wanted to believe what the other woman was saying was true but at the moment, Adria was just feeling out of control and reckless. The two had been making out behind Mack’s tent on the camping trip, thinking that that would be out of view from people but somehow Fiona had seen the two girlfriends kissing. Very quickly Fiona had run back to the girls she’d been walking with and Adria knew that her so-called-fried was whispering about her behind her back and now her whole secret was going to be out in the open. Literally. 

        “I need you to stay here, I got this.” Mack had told Adria who had pulled away from the redhead and crossed her arms, ready to go run after the other cheerleader. “No, you don’t understand Mack. My reputation is going to be completely ruined now!” Adria was about to lose it and her girlfriend didn’t seem to understand. “She saw us kissing. This is bad. There is going to be fall out. Fiona doesn’t even like you so how are you going to be the one to fix this?” Adria hadn’t meant to sound so mean but she was terrified that somehow because of this that her parents way over in England would hear about this and that she would no longer be one of the most popular girls at school.
