Famous (or infamous, depending on how you saw it) for their uncanny ability at using Shadows as weapons, the ancient Maerith family had always been regarded as one of the most influential families among the Unseelies and Aris was born knowing that his destiny was one of greatness. The blond High Fae was gifted with great beauty, strength and the innate skill to poison minds and bodies both with his Magic and his silver tongue that usually managed to get him wherever he wanted to go; people seemed to always overlook the cold soul he hid beneath his attractive appearance and he made the most out of it whenever he got the chance.

Aris joined the army at a young age, vowing his very soul to protect the Queen and their kind but wanting nothing else but to amass even more power. Protecting the Fae served the purpose of helping him satisfy that need for mayhem and destruction that he felt, channeling it into harming the enemies of their homes, but it also let him gain the recognition that he would not get only for carrying the legacy of his family and so he remained unwaveringly loyal to their cause as a way to keep furthering his own interests.

At first a gifted assassin because of his outstanding prowess with Poisonous Magic, Aris soon proved himself to be a valuable tactician, able to use his ruthless nature and perceptiveness to quickly earn promotions in their army until he could stay eye-to-eye with the highest ranked members of their kind. It was only when an all-out war with the Vampires exploded that Aris reached the Zenith of his career with their forces, succeeding in standing second in rank only to the Queen herself in their fight against the leeches and he uses every ounce of talent he has to unleash pandemonium into the enemy army. The enemies that fall prey to his forces are subject to the cold-blooded despair of his prowess with torture because Aris would do anything in his power to ensure that only they stood victorious after their carnage.
