Paris Saint-Germain Féminine Goalkeeper, Arianna Criscione, Joins Team Ocean
Paris Saint-Germain Féminine Goalkeeper, Arianna Criscione, Joins Team Ocean
There is a spot on the Pacific Coast Highway between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach that signifies home for Arianna Criscione. Throughout her youth, those beaches saw her playing football, volleyball, any sport, with her sister, friends and family. Since then, as a member of the Division 1 Féminine first place Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) team, Criscione has seen the ocean from several countries and…

would you be okay with giving your opinion on each player of psg feminines? would love your insight on our roster
Thanks for asking!
Katarzyna Kiedrzynek: an amazing keeper, a hell of a goalie, really. Plus, she's been at PSG since 2013 and is very important to the club's history and culture. She's so loyal that it's hard not to love her. She has saved us so many times that I am so grateful that we gave a 22 year old polish goalkeeper a chance.
Tiane Endler: an insanely talented keeper as well that I truly admire. Having Tiane under our arch always brings me peace. I know we are in good hands... Or gloves.
Arianna Criscione: she came this season to be a third keeper after Voll left. I don't have much to say about her, but she is so sweet. She's the first to hype her teammates, always, even when they're gone on nt duty, it's so cute to see.
Hanna Glas: our Swedish right back. I think she improved a lot since joining, and I know that when Eve is not fit to play, Hanna is amazing. Eve barely came back after several weeks out due to injury, and Glas did a fantastic job that I'm even sad that she will be benched a lot more now.
Paulina Dudek: she came to Paris under Kasia's recommendation. At first, I was a bit angry that we'd sign a young CB from Poland that hadn't accomplished much, given that we desperately needed a strong CB, with Erika being injured, eventually leaving, and Georges and Delannoy gone. When Berglund got injured and Dudek had to step up, it was weird at first... Then, she demonstrated why she deserved the starting spot she now has. This season she has been amazing, and I'm sad she's not getting much hype, because she will mature to be a great CB, screenshot this.
Alana Cook: same as Dudek, I was pissed we signed some almost random kid. She's demonstrated to be a reliable backup, though. I'm sure she'll get even better.
Ashley Lawrence: she's loyal to our club and is a fantastic player, incredibly versatile. She'll play LB, LW, LM... And she's good at everything. I don't know what's up with her this season, though. She hasn't been starting and today she wasn't even on the bench. I'll have to ask.
Irene Paredes: my ultimate favorite gal on the team. She loves this team so much. I believe Irene is one of the best CBs in the world, and I definitely think she's the best one in France, yes, over Renard and Mbock. Bias? Maybe. Maybe not. Not only is she a fantastic CB, but she's a great leader. I'm so happy she renewed her contract for two more years.
Eve Périsset: la petite Eve, an amazing talent, a shame that her NT coach doesn't see it. I'm still so damn grateful that she signed with us instead of continuing at Lyon. She defends, she attacks, and she plays with so much passion that it gives me chills.
Perle Morroni: Perle has improved so damn much. She's even taken the starting spot from Lawrence, and those are some major words. I hope that she performs well with France, because she has such potential that it would be a shame of it's not used like it should. Contrary to previous seasons, she's been truly consistent.
Aminata Diallo: I am personally not a fan? She loses too many balls and loses almost every duel. I think she should be loaned out so she can play more and improve, because she one had so much potential as a youth player.
Grace Geyoro: I'm so damn proud of her. She's our academy baby and she's so damn good as a mid. Of course, she's still going to get so much better. Like Eve, it's such a shame that her NT coach doesn't see it.
Sara Däbritz: our team improved so damn much this season just by adding her to our roster. A midfielder of many talents and abilities, with an amazing mental view of the field. I hope she's enjoying her time in Paris, because we sure as hell enjoy having her play for us.
Lina Boussaha: she was once very important to France's youth. Such potential in such a young girl. With the academy, she led our team to so many victories. Now that she's become pro, it's a real shame that she's had to endure injury after injury. I hope for Lina to stay healthy now that she's back from loan, to show France what she can really do.
Sandy Baltimore: suuuuch potential in this young girl. She's got some skills, and she plays with such swag lol. She's a bit inconsistent though, but that's understandable given her age.
Formiga: she's not even human, is she? A great midfielder, despite age. She gets to start over our other younger mids, js.
Léa Khelifi: we haven't had the opportunity to see a lot of her, but Léa left such a good impression last season with her previous club, Metz. She's seen as one of France's most promising youngsters. I hope she doesn't sit on the bench all season, because this girl deserves a chance to develop.
Marie-Antoinette Katoto: we all know the potential this girl has and how talented she is. She keeps on scoring for PSG. She helps creating plays, rather than waiting for a ball, which I appreciate. I do feel that she can be inconsistent at times, may be due to her young age. We need her to show up more at important matches.
Nadia Nadim: although she is past her prime, she still has a lot to offer. She brings a lot of experience and is so good at spotting playmaking opportunities. I love my Nadim assists!
Kadidiatou Diani: my favorite forward, quite honestly. Diani creates opportunities, she assists, she scores... However many ankles she needs to break. She'll dribble her way to the net and holy, it's wonderful to see. When she first arrived, she wasn't so good in all honesty, and I didn't even want her here. She's improved so much, and it's damn sexy the kind of player she's turned into.
Karina Sævik: we haven't seen a lot of Karina but, in all honesty, what I've seen, I loooove it. She'll do whatever the hell it takes to create a play, it's interesting to see. I truly truly hope for Echouafni to give her more pt. Also, cute af I'm seriously crushing.
Annahita Zamanian: she's got some good skills and I'm kinda sad she's not getting developed the way she should. She barely gets any pt. She's surprised me as French youth and I would like to see more of her.
Signe Bruun: Queen of injuries :/ a real shame, because last season, she was one of the best scorers at the beginning of the season, and then she got injured. I hope she's back soon, we need a goalscorer like her.
Jordyn Huitema: last but not least... Little Jordyn. Not gonna lie, I wasn't so happy to sign such a young, inexperienced girl, not when we desperately need to beat Lyon and when we're so close from doing so. However, she's proved to be such a good signing, and a smart one. She'll be here for 4 years, she'll become a Parisian at heart, it's inevitable. She scores some nice goals and she's so mature in her decisions. She releases the balls when she has to, and strikes when she has to. I'm glad to have her in Paris.
Aaaaand there you go, lol. It took me some time to type it all out on my phone lol. Again, thanks for asking! It means a lot that you'd want to know my opinion.
