The third and last of the commissions I got from @laylaylamode, this one being of the main three girls, Gaia, Hestia, and Amaya~! ^w^ Once again, it was so much fun getting to commission art of my characters from Laylay, she did such a good job on all of them and I really love how she captured all their details + what she came up with for their outfits~ <3

Fluff to counteract Arian's pure unfiltered rage

Dust tiredly clinging to Arian's shirt, not ready to be sent back to the hellscape he keeps returning from. His wounds had healed, but that didn't stop him from wanting to stay.

He'd never say it verbally, obviously. He couldn't bring himself to admit just how much the Eldritch God's presence brought him comfort, nor how much that old-book scent was beginning to get addictive and cozy to him.

He didn't want to admit just how stupidly attached he'd gotten.

Arian had been the first to show him true, unbiased care in a long time. He didn't care about what Dust had done, even after he'd spilled his guts about everything. Arian didn't comment on the scar across his ribcage, nor the LV roaring through his magic.

He was... gentle.

Not pitying- not really sympathetic, either. He understood and cared but didn't comment on it further or attempt to bring him needless comfort.

He just...

Sat with him.

And that's all Dust really could have asked for.

In the short period of time he was in the library, he was safe. Well and truly safe. Untouchable by anything that Arian didn't authorise. (Aka: that Dust didn't want.)

No Killer playing pranks or starting fights with him. No Nightmare endlessly taunting his dreams. No Horror to judge him and hate every atom making up his bones for doing what he had. No Cross to pull that "I-am-holier-than-thou" attitude out of his ass and hang it over Dust's head.

No Dream. No Ink. No Swap. No Error.

Just Arian.
