An old Jariadne piece I never got around to posting (aside on Patreon) since it was supposed to be my Valentine's Day pic for 2023 but I didn't like how it looked so I went a different route lol

Despite having to take on new identities and live on a mining world without all the frills of court, Judd and Ariadne embrace their new lives in exile. They enjoy the simplicity of their hectic new world, finding time to have some quiet moments together when Judd isn't busy in the mines and Ariadne isn't caught up in her archeology research (and when the kids aren't all keyed up after school lol) 🩵

Ariadne’s father, the late Emperor Atticus Fenway III, assassinated a year prior to the events that take place in the story. He recognized that the way the Fenway Dynasty had been running the Empire was corrupt and was trying to do what he could to fix it before he was killed.  No one knows for sure who the people responsible for the murder were: those on the poorer end of the social spectrum who were extremely upset with how slow-moving Atticus III’s reforms were, or those on the wealthier side who didn’t want to lose their power 🤔
