Libra in Mars

I remember having someone I knew personally getting the "ick" from my Libra being in my Mars. Never understood why. I know it's considered in detriment and not the ideal placement for Libra, but being mocked for it never made sense to me.

Thank you so much! It's indeed a very difficult job, and entering this professional path is even harder. To be honest, this is still new to me so I often wonder if I'll pass the exams but I really like the practical part of the apprenticeship, i.e having my classes and teaching stuff to my teens. Thank you so much for encouraging me, really. It's crazy how we beat ourselves because we think we are not supportive enough while, in fact, the simple fact that we are anxious about it means that we do care right? Don't worry either, you are one of the kindest souls around, honey.

What happened in your waters, Shark?

Hey everyone, long time no see. I think I owe you some explanations about this sudden hiatus but don’t worry, I’ll try to keep it short. As most of you know, I left my country in March and lived in the UK for several months for academic purposes. At first, I thought I would have a lot of free time to write because I was convinced I would make no friends. I'm that cold gym girl with a pretty square routine you know? Spoiler: I was wrong. This 4-month trip has been filled with no discipline, wonderful short-term friendships I’ll never forget, surprising events, ups and downs, doubts and so many fits of laughter that I lost count. To be honest, I spent most of my free time exploring or with people from all over the world. So much so that I realized that I had little time left to write.

– which was okay because I started to feel really burned out.

A few weeks before I left for the UK, Tumblr had become a source of anxiety and it’s entirely my fault. I put a lot of pressure on myself because I wanted to keep being a perfect mutual but the thing is that I couldn’t do it anymore. I had little time, I was overwhelmed with my personal life, I was crushed by the weight of my uncertain future, went through a difficult time with my S/O, and all of these impeded my ability to read and comment on everything my lovely mutuals (you) posted. And the less I could support you, the more I felt awful and unworthy of your friendship. And the more I felt like that, the less I was able to write. Overall, it was a vicious circle. It went on and on until I was completely petrified at the mere thought of opening the app because I felt so fucking guilty and pathetic and useless.

That’s why I tried to cut myself some slack and breathe. I told myself that it was okay to manage to fight my anxiety and sort my life out before really coming back. Which I did. For those who know me, here are some quick updates: I’ve been accepted to the teaching program I’ve been applying to for years, I’ve been a student teacher for two months and I love it so far 😊. I also feel much better in my personal life and came back to a badass gym routine.

This text is already too long so let me just thank those who are still here, willing to welcome me back. Also, I’m currently working on the next chapter of Heaven in Your Eyes and I will be trying to catch up with a few things I miss but, this time, I’ll try not to stress it out and simply allow myself that it’s okay to take my time and not comment on everything as quickly as I could.

With that being said, I’m just happy to be back (even though I’m hella shaking rn)

Every other week around 4 PM Ari helps her two lovers with their English.

Liu Shoi-Ming grew up speaking Mandarin and some Japanese when he met Yukina. He also learned Korean when he met Ari but never worked on his English. Miss Hamasaki Yukina could only really speak Japanese well while learning some Korean and Mandarin. Both their accents were thick and that’s what their youngest lover was trying to help them with.

She would be more helpful if they didn’t make so many excuses.

“There. Excuse number 10 fulfilled. Can we please start our studies now?” She had, per his request, pinned back Ming’s dark locks with colorful butterfly hair clips. Ming looked at himself in the mirror, his heavily decorated bottom lip stuck out in a pout. They made eye contact through the mirror, Ari slowly narrowing their eyes at him.

“It doesn’t match my pajamas.”

“They literally look like a rainbow threw up on you. It doesn’t matter!” They threw their hands up before shaking him. He laughed, kissing her check gently. She playfully rolled her eyes, draping herself on him and tracing the scar on his lips. He kissed her fingers lightly before moving to his notebooks.

“Where’s our darling little flower Yuki? She should be scolded too.” Ming joked playing with a pen that seemed to just perfectly match his rainbow aesthetic. Ari shrugged a little leaning against the vanity.

“She might be with the animals. Let me go get her.” She moved to the door and was surprised when her girlfriend was standing right in front of her. Cookie, Ari’s Aussie Shepherd, was in her arms cradled like a baby.

“I forgot how cute Cookie is! My little dumb baby.~” She laughed while Cookie barked happily with the attention on him. Ari gently shook her head, a small smile on her face as she pulled Yukina inside. Ari sat the taller woman next to Ming before standing in front of them, arms crossed.

“Study time.” She said sternly the two other reapers laughing softly and bowing playfully.

“Yes, Sensei!”
