day 1: camping and candle
“Ugh. Why are we doing this again?” Danny complained as he watched his dad pull supplies out of the GAV.
“Well, your dad and I agreed that everyone has been a little too stressed. What with the ghosts destroying part of the school and your father and I's recent slump.” Maddie absently replied as she began clearing a spot for the fire pit.
“Besides Danno. This gives us the perfect opportunity to try out the new and improved Fenton Anti-ghost Tent.” Jack shouted as he put a glowing box on the ground and pressed a button on the side that caused it to fold out into what could only be described as a family-size carnival tent.
“Hay Jazz?”
“Ya Danny?”
“Please tell me you packed the actual tent.”
“Yes. I even managed to buy a box of MREs in case Mom and Dad brought contaminated food again.”
“A week of MREs. Yay. Well, we might as well get our side of camp set up 'cause I am not sleeping in that.”
👻🦇👻🦇
“Come hi everyone this is going to be fun. Think about it! Tents, roasted marshmallows, campfire stories. This will be awesome.” Dick said as he jumped out of the van and started unloading camping supplies.
“This is a survival training exercise, Richard. Not a family bonding trip.” Damian said as he looked at the single-family size tent that Dick had packed.
“For once I agree with Damien. This is not what I would consider “fun” or “awesome”.” Tim said as he set up his laptop to finish his report for the next WE project that is due next week.
“I just want to know how the hell I got roped into this.” Jason grumbled as he started picking up stones for a campfire ring.
“Come on guys. This is as close to family vacation as we have been able to get in, like, ever. Let's make the most of it and have some fun.” Dick pleaded with them. “You agree with me, right Duke?”
“I mean. Except for you and Damien, we're all city kids. But I guess it could be fun.” Duke hurriedly added on as he saw Dick start to pout. “Yeah, yeah. Well, I ain't setting this up myself. Duke help me with these rocks. Tim helped Dick set up the stupid tent. And Damien you got the most experience in survival training. I need you to go through and scout the area and pick up wood for this fire.” Jason said while ignoring Dick's happy dance at his family getting along and helping each other.
🦇👻🦇👻
“Come on Danno! How can you protect yourself from ghosts if you don't put on the Anti-ecto Spray?” Jack asked as he followed Danny as he gathered wood for the fire.
“We're in the middle of the forest, Dad. All we have to worry about out here is bugs and bears. And we have a spray for both already.” Danny argued.
“He's right Dad. Besides you have that Ecto Shield that will be covering the camp once everything is set up for the night.” Jazz said, watching as her dad pouted and walked over to their mom.
“Madds? You'll put on the Anti-ecto Spray won't you?”
“I'm sorry dear. But you know that stuff causes my skin to rash. I think I might be allergic to something we used in it.” Maddie said as she pulled out a dutch oven and some baking supplies. “Here honey, why don't you go and make some fudge? I know how much you like your campfire fudge.”
“Campfire fudge is pretty good. But we're going to need more firewood if we're going to bake.”
“I got it Dad.” Danny said, taking off into the woods in a desperate attempt to get away from all the anti-ghost stuff.
“That's my Danny Boy! Always eager to help out. Make sure you get some good size logs too!”
“I’ll go with him. For the buddy system.” Jazz said as she began to walk in the direction Danny had run off in.
👻🦇👻🦇
“Tt.”
“Don't Tt me. A dutch oven is an essential if you are going camping.” Jason said as he checked to see if the water was boiling before moving the pot back over the fire so that the water in it could stay hot.
“It is cumbersome and will weigh us down if we must move quickly through the woods.” Damian huffed.
“Well, it's a good thing we aren't going to need to move quickly through the woods. Now here's a knife and some potatoes. They've already been washed so now they just need cut up.”
“And what makes you think I will help you cook?”
“For the same reason that Tim is cutting up veggies and Duke is cutting the vegan turkey sausage. If you want to eat. You need to help.”
“Richard is not helping.”
“Richard would burn the forest down if we let him do anything more than roast marshmallows.”
“Hay! I'm not that bad.” Dick whined from where he was still struggling with the tent.
“August 26th, 2010.” Tim deadpanned as he put the veggies into the oven.
“Okay. That's not fair Tim.”
“Um. What happened in 2010?” Duke asked before they were interrupted my a loud explosion to the east of them.
“Put a pin in that Glowstick. I think we should check that out.” Jason said as he put the lid on the pot and moved it away from the fire before Tim quickly grabbed the bucket of dirt they had and smothered the fire with it before taking off towards the sound.
🦇👻🦇👻
“What the hell was that!” Danny yelled as he dropped the sticks he was carrying and ran back towards camp.
“I don’t know! Just run!” Jazz shouted back as she pulled out her collapsible creep stick and tossed Danny the laser lipstick.
By the time they broke through the brush, they saw the camp in chaos. The new tent was trying/failing to eat Jack and Maddie was fighting the ecto lights.
“I kinda want to let them suffer.” Danny said as he deactivated the lipstick. Only to sigh as a group of four men ran into the clearing and began to try and help.
“I don’t think that’s an option anymore.” Jazz commented as she watched the human tank shoulder-check their dad to get him out of the way while a tall slender man expertly climbed the poles of the tent to get to the power switch that was at the top of the tent for some reason.
“I don’t know Jazz. They seem like they're doing a good job.” Danny replied as the shortest and skinnyest of the group tried to help Maddy with the lights.
“I’ll get the lights. You get the tent.” Jazz sighed before taking off and using the creep stick to tangle the lights and yank them out of the portable ecto-battery that their parents brought with them. Danny in the meantime ran to the GAV and climbed on top to give him a clear shot at the off button seeing as the tent was moving too much to climb. One clean shot and the tent folded in on itself, back into the box it was that morning.
“Danno! Jazzypants! Good job!” Jack shouted as he scooped both kids into a hug.
“And thank you to you four as well. It’s clear you have had training but you should really leave the ecto fighting to the professionals.” Maddy addressed the young men who had come over to make sure everyone was okay.
“Ecto fighting? Lady I don’t know” The tank asked as he crossed his arms.
“What my brother means to say!” The one who tried to climb the tent interrupted. “Is that we’re from Gotham so are kinda used to having to fight. I’m Dick by the way. This is my brother Jason. Tim is the one who is currently investigating the tent box? And Duke is standing next to him. And last but not least this is Damian!”
“Well, it’s nice to meet you all! I’m Jack! That’s my lovely wife Maddie, and these are our kids! Jazz and Danny!”
“You were quite adept with your baseball bat. Have you ever thought about training with a bo staff?” Damian asked Jazz.
“It’s actually what I was originally trained in when Mom was training me how to fight.” Jazz said while straightening her hair once Jack put her and Danny down.
“If you want honeybun I can make you a new bo staff when we get home. It would offer more maneuverability during a ghost fight.”
“Ghost fight?” Tim asked as he and Duke walked over to the little family.
“Ya! Me and Madds here are ectobiologists!” Jack excitedly said before Jazz took the wind out of his sail.
“It doesn’t really matter what we are right now. The FAT completely wrecked the camp. The GAV and the MREs are okay but we’ll probably have to move camp or go home.”
“I saw an old cabin to the west of us with some candles and stuff not far from here when I got the first batch of firewood. We could stay there and leave some of our supplies in exchange for anything we use.” Danny chipped in.
“Hay! I think we passed that on the way here! Maybe we can all camp together! Safety in numbers you know?” Dick suggested as he bounced on his toes.
“That’s a great idea! How about you boys gather your camp and meet us there!” Jack cheered before he ran off to pack the GAV back up.
“Danny dear. Can you go with them and mark a trail to the cabin for us? Here’s some orange ribbon to tie to the trees.” Maddy said before ushering Jazz off so that Danny could “hang out with boys his age.”
“So,” Danny said as he started down the trail. “Gotham huh?”
“Yup. Where are you from?” Dick asked.
“Amity Park.”
“The most haunted place in the world?” Tim asked as he pulled out his phone and began typing.
“Sounds interesting.” Duke said only for Danny to through his head back and groan loudly causing the siblings to look at each other.
“Yes, it's haunted. No, I would not recommend going. The government already has it’s nose in it. And even though my parents didn’t recognize a group of Wayens doesn’t mean I didn’t. We do not need that kind of publicity.”
“Fair enough.” Jason shrugged while leaning over to look at Tim’s phone.
“Let’s just get this done.” Danny grumbled trying to walk ahead of the group.
“We’re totally going to investigate this aren’t we.” Duke whispered when Danny was far enough ahead.
“Tt. Obviously Thomas.”

An hour late but I think I did it. Hope everyone enjoyed it!

You have a headcanon/idea for broppy proposal (they both proposed at the same time and it's cute)
But what about other brothers. Did they propose? Were they proposed to? Any ideas?
TROLLS PROPOSING
I keep changing my mind how I picture the Broppy proposal. My post planned out what basically everyone else is doing during, but not really the whole set up for the actual proposal.
Branch and Poppy Proposal
Poppy is hard to surprise.
If he steps one TOE into a jewelry store, the whole village would immediately know what's coming, so he makes the ring himself.
All those invitations he kept? He used them to spell out 'Will You Marry Me?'
And you know as he was actually speaking the words she also pulled out a ring and asked him.
Clay and Viva Proposal
With the Bergens help they moved a bunch of the Hole n Funs buildings to Pop Village.
It left the Hole n Fun practically empty.
Viva knew this was a good plan but it was still a sad sight to see her former home stripped bare.
Clay had a plan.
Clay appreciated the symbolism of 'starting a new chapter'
He organized a campout with all of the PuttPutt Trolls on the last night there.
When Viva wasn't looking, Clay had the PuttPutts take turns leaving the group and arranging the leftover fairy lights.
Later in the evening, the lights were switched on and they formed a path.
Viva followed them to the highest spot on the course, where Clay was waiting for her.
Right at sunset.
He had a very long, carefully worded speech written ready to go but when the time came he was tongue tied.
So Viva asked him. 😏
And boy does Clay love a good plot twist.
And he cried.
All the PuttPutts were like "FINALLY!"
In celebration the PuttPutts threw the biggest, the loudest and the craziest party ever.
John Dory and Sable Proposal
Everyone was joking about it for months.
Clay and Bruce telling Sable to go for the bouquet at Branch and Poppy's wedding and she's like "Awww you guys want to be related to me so badly huh?" "We like you more than John Dory." 😆
Her elderly mother and father are the kind to make jokes about how she's 'not getting any younger' 😑
They were in the middle of an argument when Sable sarcastically said something like "OH, I GUESS WE SHOULD JUST GET MARRIED THEN?!" And JD is like "YEAH WE SHOULD!"
...
JD "Was that an...actual-?"
Sable "I ugh... maybe now's not the best time to be talking about that. John, we're in the middle of an argument."
"I think that makes this the best time."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I don't know if you know this but Trolls like to argue with me a lot."
😑 "You don't say?"
"But for some reason I love when you argue with me the most!"
🥹
JD "I've spend a lot of time alone, waiting for things to happen and I don't wanna do that anymore. No more wasting time."
"When I'm here, with you, I'm not a former pop star or the Kings brother or nothing. I'm just... John Dory and you make me feel like I'm enough."
🥹
"So Sable, wanna maybe go get married?"
"You've rehearsed this haven't you?" 🥹
"I'll tell you when you answer the question." 😏
"You are such a moron but you are my moron. Yes, John Dory I would very much like to marry you."
*Pumps fist* "YES!"
"This does not mean you won our earlier argument."
"Yeah it does! I win! Woo!"
John Dory made their bands out of pieces of her old wooden leg and his leather glove.
Floyd and Boom Proposal
Boom asks Floyd.❤️
He visits Dom's grave to ask permission. 💔
By this point, Branch is officially King of Pop so Boom asks him as well.
He proposed after the last show of a tour, he invited a confused Floyd on stage.
The huge screen on the stage played photos and videos of the two of them.
His brothers were in the front row.
There were a lot of tears. (Floyd)

i've come here to talk to you about my undying love for hektor because i think you would both appreciate and understand me....
like he is so special and so charming and so so so "gentle" in the midst of so many terrible things. obviously he is a killer but he has such humanity, like im reading multiple translations of the iliad for my grad class and i cant believe how that kindness is carried over in so many of the translations they don't leave it out, ever
AND ANDROMACHE! when she says "you've been a father to me and my mother and my brother because they all have been killed" i FEEL SO BROKEN
Yeah I am very obsessed with Hector I am actually obsessed in general with the way that the iliad does not follow the narrative structure that the western novel later develops, i would argue that is at least partially due to the influence of Christianity and the desire to have cut and dry "good" and "bad" characters
the Trojans are not the bad guys in the iliad, even tho technically it is being written from the greek perspective, arguably Agamemnon is the bad guy, or at least the least likeable character, imo, so it is not a case of good guys v. bad guys.
and achilles is our hero, and patroclus is his humanity, and is beloved by everyone, and Hector. Hector who is not a bad guy. Hector who is a very good man, actually. very loyal, decent, honourable, hector kills him. which is like. ugh. brutal. and patroclus is achillles' everything. and he is torn apart by grief and so are you, as the reader, and you want revenge but like, on who? on who? because hector is not a bad guy. he was not even in the wrong for killing patroclus (whomst he thought was achilles) but he did kill him. he did. and that hurts.
so you get the climatic fight scene. but that fight scene is not between the good guy and the bad guy like we're used to seeing today. it is between a very good guy. and a very heart broken guy. and you feel for them both. you understand them both. you root for them both.
and so achilles kills hector. and it isn't really satisfying. or heroic. it is shameful actually. and it doesn't make him feel any better. and it doesn't bring patroclus back.
in fact the real peace, comes not from the battle, from the killing, but from Priam. Hector's father. who comes to Achilles, alone, and unarmed and begs for his son. and the two bond over their shared grief.
it is so human, right? like, there are no heroes or villains in this story. there are just people, fighting a war, not a war for good or evil, just a war for land. and power. and hearts are broken and lives are ruined and there is no real purpose.
but the story bleeds.
it bleeds with the love of sons. and fathers. and brothers. and lovers. and it just-
i love that hector is such a likeable guy, because it would be so much less beautiful a story if he wasn't. it would be too easy and too simple.

Week 1: Settling In, Part 3
The next few days were busy for the group, as they gathered resources to build their future settlement.
"Hey, I found a priceless vase!"
"Ha, is that all? I found a computer, two posters and a ceramic dish already."
"Damn, nice Marf! So what'd you find, Mona?"
"Three rocks and an old bone!" :D
Of course, it wasn't all work; plenty of time was found for recreation and appreciating the beautiful scenery.
"The fishing sure is good today, isn't it Jake?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, absolutely beautiful."
"Heh. Getting distracted by a potential catch, I see."
"Mmhmm."
They eventually scraped up enough materials to upgrade the camp. It wasn't much, but more comfortable seating did wonders for morale.
"Mona, where are your clothes? You can't be walking around here naked, it's not your house."
"Aww, but why not?"
"..um.."
"She's right, Jake."
"*ahem* So uh, how's that loveseat coming?"
The group got a surprise when a truck pulled into their campsite, emblazoned with a familiar logo.
"Am I seeing things, or is that..?"
"The Littlesprings Project! My dad sent us supplies!"
"Ooh, you think they sent us some more food?"
"Or coffee! Please Watcher, let there be coffee!"
"Vincent! You're a sight for sore eyes."
"Howdy, little man. Your father sends his regards, and wants to know why you haven't checked in yet. Your first report was due a few days ago."
"Heh, um, I kinda lost the satellite phone when our van crashed. "
"How'd you manage that?"
"Long story, but it ended with a cat being thrown at my face."
"What the..?"
"Jake! They're at it again!"
"Okay, that's it, Emi. I warned you already."
"Spare me the lecture, buddy. This is between me and him."
"No, not anymore. You're making this place unsafe-"
"-and uncomfortable."
"-and as the leader of this expedition, I can't allow that."
"And what are you gonna do about it, huh? Throw me in jail or something?"
"Well shit. I didn't think he'd actually do it."
A few hours later..
"Hey, are you okay in there?"
"I've been stuck in this smelly shack for hours with barely any food and nothing to read. So no."
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't want you to suffer. I just don't want to be punched, is all."
"Stop being an idiot and you won't be."
"I'm not- ugh, it's no use arguing with you, is it?"
"Of course not. What do you want, anyway?"
"I want to get you out of there."
"And why would you do that? You know I could just beat you up again, maybe lock you in here."
"Emi, please. I don't want to fight you. Frankly, I don't even remember why we started in the first place."
"Hmm. Now that you mention it, I don't either."
"How about we call a truce? We don't have to like each other, but we still have to work together."
"I still think you're an idiot, but sure. Can you let me out now?"
Shortly after Emi was released from the hastily built detention shack, Jake called everyone for the first official meeting.
"Alright folks, I think it's about time we put an end to this drama. We have a job to do, and having people get injured isn't going to help. Suggestions?"
"I've got one. Your boy Vincent brought us some building supplies in that truck of his, correct?"
"He did, yeah."
"Then I'd say it's a good time for each of us to strike out on our own. We'll all be out of one another's hair, and make more progress in settling the land than if we're all stuck here."
"I agree. Amayata, any progress with the scouting?"
"Yup! I've found some good potential building sites, they're already marked on the maps."
"Excellent! Any objections to this plan?"
"No, it sounds like a great idea. Definitely better than having to lock anyone up."
"Hey! The corpulent copulator and I made peace already. There's no need to throw me in that cell anymore."
"Glad to hear it. We don't want to have to build a real jail anytime soon."
"It's settled. Everyone, pick your spots on the map, and get some rest. Tomorrow, we pack up and set out."
After posing for one last group photo, the settlers grabbed their things and headed out. Jake was left by himself at the stripped down campsite, pining for Amayata worrying about his friends.
"Sigh. I hope she's safe out there..and the rest of them, too."
The blaring of a truck horn snapped him out of his thoughts, along with an impatient Vincent.
"Hey kid, you ready to head out? We're burning daylight here."
"Yeah, I am. It's time to get to work."

Hey look who's here to kick off my day, Niklas, the man of destiny himself. I'm not surprised but he is sporting a big smile on his face which I love to see! It's supposed to be Summerday, by the way, but as you can tell the weather here doesn't really think so.
"I was thinking," Niklas says after I invite him inside, his cheerful mood radiating off of him and bringing a smile to my face too. "It's summer, maybe we can go out and do some summery stuff?"
"Oh?" I glance at one of the windows and peer beyond the glass to see the dreary gray morning that is common here oft times in Windenburg. "It sure doesn't feel like summer."
"That's Windenburg for you!" he agrees with a laugh and yeah, can't argue there but what kind of summery things can we do with a day like this?
"What did you have in mind?" I ask.
"Just something simple, maybe, head out to the public pool?"
I can't help but smirk and tease him a little, it is a good idea buuuut I have a feeling I know why he's thinking about a little date out to the pool. "Ah, wanting to see me in a swimsuit then?"
So we head to the Bathe De Rill and thankfully we're a little early so the pool is pretty much empty. It's also raining which probably explains the lack of people but honestly why would rain stop a trip to the pool? You're going to get wet any ways, so what's the difference? Ah well, public pools are no fun if there's too much of a crowd.
After a few casual laps, nothing competitive, but we both use enough energy so that we had to pause and catch our breaths giving us a perfect time to start a conversation. "So, any water tricks you can show me?"
"Hmm? No," he gives his head a little shake, wading restlessly in the water. "It's always hard to manipulate the elements. Fire, water, air, those forces take a lot of skill and power to get a handle of."
"I can imagine but you're telling me you have no tricks at all!?" He's so lame sometimes! "Not even a bubble or a little sprout of water or-"
"Oh, I know a trick I can do with water?" He says but his tone is a little too playful now and it makes me suspicious of what he might say next and yet I can't help but ask.
"Yesss?" my eyes narrow, knowing the set up suddenly, it's going to be a lewd joke isn't it?
"I can show you later tonight."
Ugh, I knew it! Let me guess, something something make me wet something something? Yeah, that's He's also snickering like a child too as if he's told the most clever of jokes! All I can do is groan, roll my eyes, and float over to the edge of pool to make my exit.
He follows me outside of the pool and we both decide to hang out a little longer here. For a while we just walk, letting ourselves dry with the help of a very mild sun and a slight breeze but eventually we find somewhere to stop. Away from the trickle of people who have waited out the rain to visit the famous Bathe de Rill. I am mostly focused though on his watch, there is something about it that draws the eyes, it looks ordinary and yet clearly it isn't.
"So is that thing waterproof?" I ask, my eyes glaring at it as if it had asked me a question instead.
"Yea, fireproof too. It can withstand a lot, it's...well, it's very old. My great grandmother had her house burned down in a fire, attempted arson we think, but she later retrieved it in the ashes as if it were brand new."
"That...that thing seems pretty powerful?" Fire usually is all powerful, after all, it's like pure energy. Fire kills everything, doesn't it? Except for his watch I guess.
He shrugs as if it the answer was obvious. "Yeah, it is, but honestly it's a passive kind of power. Not an active kind of power."
"So you say it points you to where you need to be but for what purpose like...is it trying to help you succeed or..."
Another shrug. "Simply where I need to be, whatever that means. It's not always serving me, at least that's what I've been told but honestly I don't think my father even knows what it does."
"What do you mean?" I ask, because the more I hear about it the more confusing it gets. He used it to claim that that we were meant to be but what if it dragged him my way for another reason?
"It's...hard to explain," he rubs the back of his neck for lack of a better answer. "It's not trying to make me rich or anything, it's just simply...where I need to be."
"Ugh, I'm starting to understand why you avoid magic!"
I head back home with Niklas because by the time we left the pool night had fallen and you know he insisted on walking me home. He warned of vampires and werewolves and the mothman and bigfoot too...okay, he only warned me about vampires because he seriously has a hatred for them.
Either way, I mentioned to him that he couldn't stay long because I had some cleaning to do and once again he deployed his magic to help me out. Cleaning the tub with a few swirls of his arms and some sparkly sparkles on top of it and voila, a clean tub! Yeah so, that's a neat trick! I'd be fine with just learning that honestly.
Also, yes, he never did change out of his swimshorts? Yeah so, that was my day, I guess I made the most of it.

Face The Music
Jaune: H-Hey, Weiss?
Weiss: Yes, Jaune?
Jaune: I, uh, have some news for you.
Weiss: Oh? What is it?
Jaune: It's, uh, about our relationship.
Weiss: What relationship? We're just friends.
Jaune: Um, n-not anymore. See, uh, I've been keeping a secret from you guys.
Weiss: Oh, is this about your late night rendezvous with someone?
Jaune: Oh, uh, I guess you guys do know.
Weiss: I don't pry into gossip, but Blake told Yang and Ruby that they saw you sneak into a hotel with an older woman.
Jaune: Y-Yeah. About that. About her...
Weiss: Jaune, you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to. What happens behind closed doors is your business, not mine.
Jaune: I'd normally agree, except this is your business. And I have to tell you this.
Weiss: Okay? Why?
Jaune: Because... Because I've been dating your mom.
Weiss: ...
Jaune: Weiss?
Weiss: ...I'm sorry, but I think I misheard you. I thought you said you were dating my mother.
Jaune: Yeah, I did. And... And there's more.
Weiss: Oh dust... Please don't brag to me you've been intimate with her.
Jaune: Uh, it's a bit more than that.
Weiss: What do you mean?
Jaune: I can call Willow right now and-
Weiss: No! You will not speak my mother's name so casually, Jaune Arc! My mother may not be perfect, but she would never cheat on my father, especially with someone like you!
Jaune: Weiss...
Weiss: I don't want to hear it! This is a sick joke, Jaune Arc, and I refuse to acknowledge it!
Jaune: (Sighs) I thought so.
Weiss: (Scroll buzzes, Sees) ...Jaune, you are one of my closest friends. So believe me when I tell you this, because it is with the most sincerity I can muster. I want you out of this room, or I will kill you, right where you stand.
Jaune: (Leaves, Shuts door behind him)
Weiss: (Answers scroll) Mother.
Willow: Weiss. I take it Jaune already told you.
Weiss: ...Then it's true.
Willow: Weiss-
Weiss: Why?! Why would you do this?! With him?! Father wasn't always perfect. No where near so, I admit. But to bring infidelity into our family?!
Willow: Weiss, please-
Weiss: Why?! Why would you betray father like this?!
Willow: ...I had enough of it. When I learned about him embezzling the company to support his campaign, I confronted him. I was sober, if you can believe it. I was so angry, I forgot the bottle and began shouting at him. I called him every name I could, but when I told him he wasn't a true Schnee, he hit me.
Weiss: Mother...
Willow: I left, realizing what had happened. He tried to follow, but... I filed for divorce later that evening.
Weiss: I... I just don't understand... Mother, I...
Willow: Weiss. Please, don't cry.
Weiss: ...I just can't stop thinking about it. All those years you were with him. All the parties, and the galas, and the dinners... Were they all lies? Did you ever love each other?
Willow: I... I don't know, Weiss. The last thirty years feel like a blur now when I think of him.(Shudders) Dust, I wish I had a drink.
Weiss: You are sober?
Willow: Yes. I have been for months now. Ever since... Ever since I started dating Jaune.
Weiss: Right. I... had almost forgotten about the reason you called.
Willow: I met him on my way to drown my sorrows. I needed something stronger than what was here, and I needed to be as far away from your father as possible. Jaune was coming back from a mission at the local school and found me arguing with a clerk. Your father cancelled my bank account.
Weiss: He would do that.
Willow: Yes. Then Jaune stepped in, offered to pay, and then did when I insisted him not to. He escorted me to a bench and we started talking. He said something funny, and... I laughed. I must have looked insane, but it was the first real laugh I had in... so long.
Weiss: What did he say?
Willow: He was telling me how his dinners are set for weeks because his missions have been, quote, "on a cassarole".
Weiss: Ugh, so you were the one woman he bragged to us about. The one who "actually laughed" at his joke.
Willow: I'm glad to know he was speaking of me.
Weiss: But... why? Why all the secrecy? The divorce? The dating? Does... Does Whitely know? Or Winter?
Willow: Whitely was aware, but... he may be taking this worse than you are. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't told you or Winter of this.
Weiss: We have grown distant since I left. Again.
Willow: Can you talk to him? Please? He won't even look at me, and he has his meals brought to his room.
Weiss: After... this, I will. I still need to discuss this with Jaune.
Willow: Of course.
Weiss: And what about Winter? Does she know?
Willow: She does, and she had the exact opposite reaction. She told me I had waited too long on making the best decision of my life.
Weiss: Of course she did. (Sigh) Nothing left now but to discuss this with Jaune.
Willow: Weiss, please, remain calm. I understand this is a lot to process, especially with the baby coming.
Weiss: ...Baby?
Willow: Yes, the... I suppose Jaune hasn't told you everything yet.
Weiss: No. But he's about to.

Bleach characters with the prompt "Hands brush as you walk next to each other, you think it's on accident until their hands gently wrap around yours." ➥
Containing: ... Ichigo, Grimmjow, Ulquiorra.
___ is gender neutral
Warning(s):... Slight swearing.
Note: .. I'm sorry if this is small and all the same. Also testing around the colors :D
Ichigo. ➥
The sound of foot steps filled the large park. Me and Ichigo we're in a park as we were patrolling for hollows so we were just by our self's. I adjusted my scarf and looked almost every where that you could. Almost worried that a hollow could poke out of no where. I let my arms dangle and sway to the motion of my hips.
I felt warm skin rub up against my hand. I ignored it as I just thought that it was a accident. Key word thought. I felt a hand intertwined with mine. Of course I wasn't expecting it so I embarrassed my self with a red across my face. And I started to stutter. "Geez you get flustered easy" Ichigo teased. "No I don't!" I retorted. "___..you look like a apple and stutter like no tomorrow" He dead panned as he focused on the path ahead.
"Well thats because it's cold out here!" I argued back to the redness even though i knew I looked like a red stop sign. "You get pink when your cold not red." Ichigo stated. "God I forgot that you have a doctor as your father" I teased back.
Grimmjow ➥
The sand beneath our feet rustled as we took a step. "Ugh! This is so boring!" I ranted as I looked around. Me and Grimmjow were sent on a patrol for random stuff. I was not really paying attention when Aizen sent us on the mission. It was more like a useless errand.
But I still had to do it as I served for him. "Well it's Aizens orders. I do agree that it's pretty fuckin boring." he agreed as he occasionally kicked the sand underneath him. "Your gonna make me blind if you keep on kicking sand" I warned him with a stern face. "Oh really? I didn't know that" He spoke with sarcasm laced in his voice.
"Yes dumbass.." I dead panned at his remark. "It was sarcasm jackass!" He scowled. "I know" I grinned like a idiot as I swayed my arms. "God your such a idiot." He frowned and intertwined his fingers with mine which made me stop in my tracks. "What?" Grimmjow dead panned. "Nothing just.. Not expected." I blushed as I looked away.
Ulquiorra ➥
The sound of footsteps filled the empty halls of Los Noches. The moon light of the moon filled the halls as well through the Windows of the halls of those of Los Noches. "Are you Alright? You have been awfully quite." Ulquiorra asked with small worry in his voice. " yeah I'm just.. Exhausted. We have been walking for so long." I explained as I looked out the Windows.
"We are able to take a short break if you wish" Ulquiorra suggested. "That would nice" I smiled a little bit. Me and him sat by the wall with our backs up against the wall. "Who knew walking could be so exhausting" I complained. It felt like we have been walking for a mile. "Me." "that was sarcasm ulquiorra" I remarked. He just replied with a simple 'oh'.
I always understood that he really didn't have emotions. And I did forget like this time. But that is what i liked about him. I felt cold fingers intertwined with mine. I glanced at ulquiorra and saw him holding hands with me. "You know that i love you right?" i teased. "I know."

Monochrome Week 2020
Day Three - Fake Dating AU
———
@monochromeweek
———
The night was alive. Colorful lights pulsing like a heartbeat. Lively disco music pumping everyone up like an adrenaline rush.
Weiss usually scoffed at parties like this. Ugh. Dance clubs. So crowded. No oxygen. But surprisingly, she found that she could finally stop holding her breath.
Henry wasn't there, forcing her to dance. Or talk about him. Or stay at his side at all times because he had no life. She could bop her shoulders to the music in content freedom. Full-out dancing had always been Ruby and Yang's forte. Which was why she stayed back at the bar to talk with Blake.
They hadn't seen each other in nearly a year, ever since Blake transferred schools, which was a shame, considering that was the year their friend circle had formed.
Weiss was the tech-savvy one of them four. She kept tabs on everyone's social media (even if they didn't want her to) and had noticed several changes on Blake's account. She was never one to post selfies. Just pictures of cute cats and her dark academia. And even if she didn't post anything in months, Weiss thought her latest picture was something worth noting.
She took a sip from her Jack Frost, swirling it around to play with the ice.
"How's Adam?"
Blake nearly choked on her drink, coughing when she put it down.
"What?" she croaked.
"When were you going to tell us about him?" Weiss tilted her head.
Blake sighed, rubbing her temple.
"We lasted like a month, Weiss; there's nothing to tell."
Weiss raised a brow. "A month, huh? What happened there? You guys looked pretty sweet in that photo together."
Blake snorted. "He posted that one. Wanted the world to know I was his whore."
"Sounds bad."
"It was bad. Still is. I broke up with him, but he's just not giving up," she grimaced, downing a gulp of purple cocktail. "Bastard."
Weiss snorted.
Pause. Then—
"Your dad still brainwashing that Marigold guy?"
Weiss groaned, throwing her head back in frustration.
"He doesn't even need my dad to tell him to do stuff anymore. He just goes ahead and thinks I'm infatuated with him or something. You know, that 'hard to get' mentality or something."
"Yeah, I know the type." Blake replied dryly.
"You think they'd leave us alone if we got into a relationship?" Weiss snickered.
Blake snorted. "Yeah, maybe."
They settled into a comfortable silence then. Weiss accepted that statement as the joke it was supposed to be. But it began to resonate in her head. The more she thought about it, the more it began to make sense in its own ridiculous way.
"Weiss?"
"Hm?"
"What are you scheming in there?"
Weiss paused. She downed the rest of her cocktail.
".. What if we did?"
"What if we what?"
"What if we were in a relationship?" she said. "That would get them to piss off."
Blake raised her eyebrows, glancing away nervously. She bit her lip.
"I.. I don't know, Weiss.." she said. "Seems a little extreme, don't you think? A-And are we even sure it'll get them to leave us alone?"
"But it makes sense!" Weiss exclaimed. "You know they won't take our word for it, Blake. Neither of them will get the picture unless they see that we're interested in someone else."
Blake drank down the last of her Purple Rain, deep in thought. Weiss distracted herself with the lavender glitter on Blake's eyeshadow.
Blake pulled her phone out of her pocket.
Weiss raised an eyebrow. "What're you doing?"
"Texting Yang. My place or yours?"
"Wh-What?"
Blake glanced at Weiss, standing up.
"So we can plan." Blake said. "We'd have to start as soon as possible, right?"
Weiss blinked up at her.
".. My place."
•
In all the years she knew Weiss, this was admittedly the first time Blake had ever been inside her room.
She thought it was regal-looking, to say the least. Perfectly cleaned. Icy white walls, silk curtains and sheets.. Like some ice castle.
Blake put down her bag, laying it next to the mountain of pillows at the head of the bed. She looked back at Weiss, only to see her pulling up a large frame of wood from a nearby chest.
Blake raised an eyebrow.
"Do you really need that corkboard?"
"Of course, we do!" Weiss said. "If we're going to make a game plan, we're going to have to do it properly!"
"You mean, we can't just do PDA and act like.. I dunno, Qrow and Clover?"
Weiss would've laughed at the inside joke, if not the circumstances. Instead, she shot Blake a sour pout. Which was far from the desired effect.
"Blake, if we're going to sell this to the public, you need to be serious about this," she scoffed, spreading out her arms for emphasis. "Like I said, we have to do this properly!"
"I am serious!" Blake exclaimed, crossing her arms. "If you're so experienced about stuff like this, why don't you tell me what your 'properly' means?"
Weiss blushed furiously, jabbing a finger at Blake. She opened her mouth, as if trying to say something. But nothing came out. She didn't know either.
Blake just sighed, propping herself on her arm.
"I'm starting to regret agreeing to this." she mumbled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Weiss cried, crossing her arms defensively. "I'll have you know, I'd make a great fake girlfriend if you were actually cooperating with me!"
"Uh-huh."
Weiss huffed, looking away, a pout on her lips. But her gaze found her clock. Then her expression softened. She punched the bridge of her nose, shaking her head.
"We've spent all this time arguing.. My father will be home soon, and we don't even have so much as a first move!" she groaned.
Blake looked towards the white alarm clock, wincing. 10:50.
"Alright, look," she spoke up, surprising Weiss. "Let's say our relationship started off as a secret. Several months ago. And by secret—"
"—Not even Ruby and Yang would know." Weiss finished. She nodded. "Yeah, that'll work. Then.. We're going to make us public."
Blake pursed her lips. "I.. I'll ask around about you. Pretend I'm interested. Get people talking. Would that work?"
Weiss nodded, the tiniest of smiles forming on her face. It was a little infectious, prompting a grin from Blake.
"And," Weiss added. "There's a party tomorrow night. Ruby and Yang's place. It's a little less of your scene, but if we're seen dancing together or holding hands, it'll probably do something."
Blake nodded. "Yeah."
"That should be all we have to discuss now." Weiss said. "We'll think of more at the party, alright?"
Blake nodded, standing up. She reached towards her bag, only to have Weiss get there first.
Weiss raised her eyebrows, laughing lightly, handing it back.
Blake smiled a bit, glancing to the side.
"Looks like we never needed the corkboard, after all."
Weiss glared at her. "Just shut up and leave."
•
This was a slightly smaller party compared to last night. There were a few dancers in the middle of the living room. But mostly, people were in pairs or three's; talking in the corners. Fairy lights. Finally, some punch that wasn't spiked.
Weiss lounged on a bean bag with her usual group, in a circle on the couches they claimed early. But instead of contributing whatever bizarre shower thought debate was going on, Weiss just sipped on her punch, her mind far away.
"Hey, Weiss?" Ruby whispered. She sat on the couch right next to Weiss, so she only had to turn her head.
"Hm?"
"Did you and Blake talk much last night?"
Weiss already knew what prompted this question. Though it didn't stop her heart from racing.
"I guess so, yeah." she shrugged, feigning nonchalance.
"It's been a while, huh?" Ruby grinned crookedly. "Since the four of us were together in one place."
"Yeah," Weiss sighed, turning to check the door. "It was."
"So why'd you two leave early?"
Weiss flinched from the question. She took her time in answering.
"Winter got worried. She called and told me to come home. Guess Klein didn't tell her where I'd be." she shrugged. "Blake just wanted to walk me home."
Ruby's smile grew at that. "Mhm.."
Weiss raised an eyebrow at her best friend, who swirled her punch around the red cup with her evil 'I'm planning something you definitely won't like' grin.
"Ruby.."
"Yes, Weiss?"
"Ruby."
She only giggled. She put her elbow on the armrest, with her face in her hand.
"Blake just texted us last night. Aand she was asking about you."
"Uh-huh. And?"
"And—" she raised her voice, prompting the rest of the party to join the conversation. "— it wasn't just me and Yang, Weiss. She texted all of us! Right, guys?"
There were collective sounds of agreement around the table. Weiss rolled her eyes.
"And?"
Ruby groaned.
"Well," Nora interrupted. "She kinda sounded like she was interested."
Ruby stood on the couch, gesturing to Nora with extreme exaggeration.
"Isn't she with that Adam Taurus guy you told us about, Weiss?" Jaune piped up. "The one in her picture?"
"They broke up." Weiss replied simply.
"Looks like someone asked." Yang smirked.
"Blake's fair game now." Nora added, sipping her punch.
If one could drink punch slyly, Weiss was certain Nora was doing it right.
"And Henry Marigold?" Oscar added quietly. He recoiled at the disappointed expressions he got from the majority of the group. "Not that I like him.. It's just that he's been pining for Weiss even before I got here. Wouldn't he take action?"
"So you do believe Weiss and Blake are getting together?" Nora asked, jabbing a chip in his direction.
Oscar shrugged. "Yes? I'm not Ren."
"Hey!"
Weiss sighed. Thank their lack of focus. At least, she wasn't being focused on anymore.
But then, as if on cue, Weiss caught the distant sounds of door chimes. She spun towards the door, and there she was, nervously recoiling into herself. It might've been the fairy lights, but Weiss could've sworn her cheeks were alight with pink.
She was about to get up to get her until she heard the obnoxiously loud coughing from behind her. Weiss gritted her teeth, smiling sarcastically at the group.
"And I suppose Blake just showed up because she wanted to?" Yang teased.
But as it turned out, Blake didn't wait for Weiss. She found the group herself, especially with Ruby's frantic waving.
"Blake!" she exclaimed, her voice reaching up a few more octaves. She gave Weiss a knowing sideways glance. "What brought you here~?"
Blake twirled a strand of hair around her finger.
"Oh, uh.. Weiss invited me last night."
"She did, did she?" Nora raised an eyebrow, elbowing Jaune excitedly.
Weiss buried her face in her hands miserably.
"Anyway.." Blake continued awkwardly. "I hope it's no trouble if I just, uh.." she reached down and gently grabbed Weiss's wrist. ".. Borrow Weiss for a minute?"
Yang cleared her throat.
Ruby grinned encouragingly, reaching up to whisper in Blake's ear. Whatever that was, caused Blake's face to grow increasingly red. She didn't say anything else and pulled Weiss up.
"Come on, Weiss." Blake sighed amusedly, dragging her to the dance floor.
Blake gingerly put her hands on Weiss's waist, bringing an intense blush to the shorter girl's face. She could still feel the burning gazes of her schoolmates in the back, and so desperately wanted to ignore it.
A cold jolt went up her spine when Blake took her hands, bringing them up to her shoulders. Weiss raised an eyebrow at her.
Blake could only shrug, looking down.
"You were zoning out." she mumbled.
Weiss nodded, moving forward, so that their bodies were touching.
It was Blake's turn to give her a questioning look.
Weiss hesitated, but she shrugged as well, laughing a bit.
"We look like we're being forced to dance."
Blake nodded. "Fair enough."
They swayed in silence from there, perfectly content in not talking. After a few minutes or so, Weiss saw cameras flashing in the corner of her eye. They were doing this for the public, weren't they? To shove it down the boys' throats.
Without a word, Weiss leaned her head on Blake's shoulder, breathing in a musk of honey.
"Convincing, right?" she whispered.
Blake snorted, a soft smile on her face.
•
They left as the party lost its swing. Blake's old school would certainly have something to talk about tomorrow. Weiss Schnee, leaving her Prince Charming for an old sweetheart. If Blake's friends weren't attending said school, she'd have no reason not to despise it.
Instead of heading home right away, they decided the night was still young and went to a restaurant near Blake's house. They were both so focused on their so-called 'photoshoot' they forgot to grab a handful of chips on the way out.
Next thing they knew, they were laughing so hard, they were choking on their sandwiches.
"I can't believe you would do me dirty like this!" Blake mocked, barely containing her laughter. "Oh, god, are you sure you guys were never together?"
"News spreads fast, doesn't it?"
"Especially when Ruby and Nora are the ones spreading it." Blake chuckled.
Weiss grinned. "Anything from your side?"
Blake snorted, shaking her head. "Honestly, I'm almost scared for when he does."
"Why's that?"
Blake shrugged, smirking sarcastically. "Let's just say he'd be far more intense than whiny texts."
Weiss frowned worriedly, tilting her head. Hesitantly, she laid a hand on Blake's shoulder.
"Blake."
Something churned in the pit of Blake's stomach. Not in a bad way. Like light little flips. Flaps. Butterflies. But she couldn't wrap her head around it. Maybe it was something in the way Weiss could say her name like that. It soothed Blake easily. Even if just a little.
"I'm fine." Blake sighed, taking a mournful bite out of her grilled cheese. "He just texted me earlier this morning."
"He did?" Weiss murmured. "What'd he say?"
Blake took her time in answering, chewing ever so slowly. When she finally swallowed, it felt sharp.
"Just.. He called me out for avoiding him. Even though I explicitly told him we were over, he still thinks entitled to me." Blake growled. "He denied stalking me, manipulated me, and now he has the gall to say I'm overreacting? He's just unbelievable!"
Weiss felt her blood boil. This guy walked all over Blake, called her the bad guy, even after all that? She couldn't wait to meet this guy. If only to break his legs.
She carefully brought her hand to Blake's, gently stroking the back with her thumb.
Blake's eyebrows raised at the gesture. Instinctively, she stretched her fingers outwards, fitting them between Weiss's.
"I'd never do that.." Weiss mumbled.
Blake didn't know the thought process of that statement, but she appreciated it nonetheless.
Then Weiss's eyes snapped up, meeting Blake's gaze. But Blake was losing her mind. Noticing everything.
Her heart stopped. She could smell Weiss's faint vanilla and petrichor musk. The usually-invisible specks of indigo in Weiss's large, sapphire eyes were easy to spot. As well as the faded scar running down her left eye.
This was the closest they've ever been to each other. Not just in the physical aspect. This was just so much more intimate than the dance somehow. Blake felt close to Weiss and it was driving her insane.
"Thanks."

The main problem: my mother.
Her and my social life.
She's my fucking hell. Since I was born. She never allowed me to do anything along with my father (that was waaaaaay more possessive and jealous when I was a child while now with my little sister he's all like "do whatever you want it's fine").
She never respected my privacy. My spaces. My decisions. My opinions. I wasn't allowed to have an opinion. I wasn't allowed to speak when she decided something. I wasn't allowed to choose my friends. I wasn't allowed to speak to some people I defined friends because they weren't okay for her. She'd always decided who I had to talk to and how I had to behave. She always shushed me when I wanted to say something that she thought could've been against her decision. I grew up with her ideas, with her ways of talking and acting. She was manipulating me, creating a copy of her. She wanted to see her in me. (You failed. Ops?🤭) And I was always alone. I never had friends. The only friends I could make were people with disabilities. Because others couldn't stand me. Others hated me or made fun of me. Since I was 6 (elementary school) to being 10 I only talked to people who had difficulties at school or were handicapped. I felt like they didn't judge me. And I felt like they were okay with me being their friend.
What does not having friends has to do with my mother?
Well easy: my social life was in her hands. And that's why I never had anyone by my side. Because no one was okay for her. Only one or maybe two people. And I never complained about it. Because she made me grow up like that. I had to shut up and just do what she said. In my childhood I remember disobeying just a couple of times to my mother. Consequences? Being hit. She slapped me in the face so hard she made me cry. Once she slapped me in front of my classmates in that way. My teacher told her it wasn't necessary and mum just used a polite way to say "fuck you I am her mother and I decide how she has to grow up". My teacher had to shut up while he was caressing me and making me calm down. In that moment I forgot I was in class. I must remember being in my teacher's arms and feeling safe, far from my mum's hands. I was 8 if I'm not wrong.
So, elementary school ended. Middle school started. First year. Me, still with the mentality of a child. Naive. Too innocent and silly to understand the world I was going to face. Middle school was the worst period of my life. I've been bullied all the three years.
First year: Afraid. Always defensive. But willing to be a perfect student just as I was at the previous school. It was just me and other four girls (way smarter than me because they didn't live like they were perfect dolls to keep in a house-cage) and then 15 boys. One of them had a crush on me. I rejected him. I got no will to talk about that embarrassing story. After that also this boy + all the girls made fun of me and bullied me and called me names like: horse, camel, annoying, stupid and stuff like that. I was absolutely not used to being talked to like that, consequently it was one of the first traumas I've experienced in first person, without having my mother "by my side" "to dEfENd me". First year ends and I made no friends.
My parents decide to move to another city. Caserta. Close to Naples. I spent two years there. It was a fucking hell. People there were like... the plastics of mean girls. We were 10 girls and 13 boys. Way better, I thought. Ugh, I was wrong. Boys were terrible, worse than the ones at the other school and girls? Damn, they were all Regina George. It was when my depression symptoms started, along with anxiety. They talked at my back, saying bad stuff about me. How I found out? My mother was going through my chats (without me knowing, of course) and she called me to tell me. I read the group chat. They started saying "Is Maria in this group? No? Are you sure? Yes". So after establishing that I wasn't there they started saying things like: Oh luckily she isn't. She's so annoying. Why the fuck did she came to our school? Couldn't she stay at her old one? She's so ugly and stupid. No one can stand her. No one wants her. And she thinks we're her friends! 😂😂😂 She thinks she's better than us! (totally untrue) She's no one. etc...
Now imagine me crying while reading everything because I didn't expect it.
My mother: Didn't you expect all of this? It was obvious.
Well sorry if I was too stupid because I grew up thinking people were good and I would've faced a world full of roses and love.
I just told her I didn't. Your fault, darling.
Day after. My mother goes to school and talks to my teacher about it. My teacher defends me and helps me with that and the thing is solved. But my classmates just hate me more and more. And they just keep bullying me but more subtly so that no one notices. But I was a bit smarter because I had my cousin (I will dedicate another post to this special person ❤️) that was helping me to go through all the shit and giving me advice.
Middle school ends.
I am not homophobic anymore (like my parents taught me to be). I start having doubts about my sexuality but ignore them. My depression gets worse and worse.
My mother gets worse and worse. Starting to prefer my two brothers and little sister over me for everything. I was needed just to clean the house and to be yelled at for wearing always black, being unsocial, always staying on my own in the dark, always with my phone, always listening to music, always being sad or angry, never smiling, staying up after 10pm for watching TV series or reading, not studying much etc...
(Want a hint my dear mother? I was/am depressed.)
In this period I start having suicidal thoughts. Still because of my parents. My cousin supporting me and telling me is silly and that there are other options.
We move back to Naples.
I am now 14.
Highschool starts. First year is shit because I get bullied again but I start making friends. A group of 7 people (me included). My mother says they're okay. Fucking finally.
Alessia, Gabriella, Chiara, Simona, Sara, Andreea (romanian). Fucking amazing friends. Disgustingly amazing.
My grades are low. My parents keep hating on me and yelling at me for that. But my friends support me.
In the meanwhile I get to know a girl on the Internet. We become close friends and that develops in feelings. We start a relationship. Let's be clear. It wasn't. It was just based on the fact that we had the same problems and she gave me a lot of affection, and I thought it was love.
One day my mother takes my phone, again, without me knowing, and reads all of my chats.
She finds out about this girl. I was terrified and so I confess. My first coming out. She says nothing. She goes to my dad and tells him. My dad yells "Go away! Go away from my sight!" and I go to the kitchen terrified. Crying and sobbing. We sit. Me, my mother and my dad. They start talking to me. A sum up:
I don't remember how my mother started talking. I removed it because it was traumatic, all I remember is her saying shit about that poor girl.
I say "Mum, what's wrong with gays? They're just like us"
Mum slaps me. Hard as fuck. I was shook. Scared. Hurt. Confused.
After that they start talking about how wrong is being gay, that God doesn't accept it, that it's not natural, that it's just a phase, that only animals have gay sex and that's why we humans are different from animals that must follow their instincts. They keep repeating the same things in different ways for 3 hours. I am not kidding. 3 hours. From 3pm to 6:30pm only talking about this. (Want to know what I've done all this time? I just nodded. I kept on nodding because I was afraid to talk.)
Mum deletes and blocks every number and friends from Internet and takes my SIM card and puts it in her phone so she can check all my chats from her phone. She throws my phone away breaking it.
Nighttime: No sleep. Everytime I fell asleep I had nightmares so I woke up. Sobbing. Crying. I can't fucking breathe. A fucking hell.
Morning: I wake up totally empty and with a dead face. My parents are in the kitchen. They warmly say "good morning" and ask me to sit. I sit on the couch. They ask me "how are you". My answer: HOW AM I?? HOW AM I YOU FUCKER?????!!!!! YOU'RE REALLY ASKING ME HOW ARE YOU WITH THIS NONCHALANCE???? FUCKING KILL YOURSELF. My actual answer:.... i'm tired.
I don't remember anything else after that. Trauma I guess.
I am not a psychologist but I'm pretty sure I'm fucked up.
So after this happens I tell everything to my cousin. She doesn't believe that. She actually doesn't. She was too shocked to believe it. Haha, same sis. I don't either.
So, it takes a while for her to process everything and that's when our friendship starts for real. (We were good friends since I was 12. We grew up together, but there has never been an actual friendship because of how I was as a child. A pretty horrible child.) She starts helping me with my mother and all the stuff. We start getting closer and closer as time goes by and as my mother keeps being a bitch.
Second year of highschool.
My fucking favourite. It was such a good time. My grades weren't the best, my depression was fucking me up more than ever, my anxiety was kicking me out, but.. I had my friends. With a new entry. Simona. Yeah another one. Alessia changes school. So it's still 7 of us.
I swear if it wasn't for my friends that year and my cousin. I would've killed myself. Going back home from school everyday was basically going back to hell every fucking day.
dude: go to hell
me: awww where do you think i came from honey?
Then... that summer comes. Summer 2018.
I argue with my friends because of my parents, giving them the fault of everything. I keep them away from me. My mother gets even worse. She's against me like I am her enemy. She yells at me for everything. Every single thing.
me: *wakes up*
mother: WHY DID YOU WAKE UP GO BACK TO SLEEP AND SLEEP PROPERLY LIKE A LADY YOU'RE DISGUSTING.
She separates me from my cousin because she talked back at her (after she said bad things about my cousin's mother at her face) and here, another trauma. She calls me whore, liar, bitch because I didn't defend her like my cousin did with her mother (sorry but i hate you bitch). She says it's all my fault because I told my cousin everything about the bad things she did to me. That day goes away and my mother calms down and says it's not my fault but my cousin's because she's a bitch. I have no chance to talk to her for a month then we finally meet when my mother isn't at home. Since then we talk without no one of my family knowing. (It will be 3 years this summer, she never knew we do. How stupid can she be thinking I wouldn't talk to my favourite person ever because she said so).
September comes. Back to school. Third year. No friends. Low grades. No will to study. No will to live. But my cousin has my back. She keeps me alive, in fact I tried to kill myself multiple times. I failed. (Now I'm happy I didn't.) I pass that year. Not after another trauma. I seek for help at school. My teacher tells my mother about it and tells her that I am bisexual, atheist and I'm not okay in my family.
Thanks for ruining me, teacher. I expressively told her not to talk about it with my mother buuuut okay.
Quick sum up: I come back from school, my mother is crying. She starts saying things like "You don't want me as a mother? You don't like me? You hate me?" and I said no (not knowing that she knew what I said at school). Then the evening she walks to me and sits near me.
"Tell me the truth"
I was obviously confused. So she confesses what she knows. I was expecting the worst. It ended up with me talking to my uncles because my mother was "tOo hUrt" to talk to me.
"It's just a phase." "I hated my parents too." "You're too young to say these things." "You can't say you're bisexual if you never experienced anything."
It ended up with me faking a hug and "I'm sorry mum, I exaggerated." (obviously it was just to make everything stop).
bonus
me: *wants help to fight a difficult situation*
mum: *gets to know about it* YOU HURT ME YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH.
also mum: *reproaches it to my face everytime she's mad at me*
Fourth year starts. This is my year. This year. 2019/2020. It started perfectly. Good grades, my friends are back.
We move again. Tivoli (Rome). I am fucking happy with that. Expect for the fact that I can't meet my cousin anymore. But of course we can chat. Secretly on Telegram. Because my mother doesn't know what it is. Also, she stopped checking my phone, finally.
So, now. I'm 17, fourth year of highschool. Here I have no friends because they all suck. I miss my friends from Naples. And I wish I was free from my parents.
Some parts are not detailed. This because I will dedicate to them other posts otherwise this one would've been waaaaaay longer. And it's already too long.
No one will read these long posts but in case you're doing it, thank you ❤.
