olive green; are you currently reading anything? how do you like it so far?

I always have a bike book and a bath book, as I call them, and I read fic before I go to sleep. My bike book (book I read while I'm on my recumbent bike doing cardio every morning) is Twice Bitten by Lynsay Sands. Book 27 of the Argeneau Vampire Series, which is just really trashy vampire romance novels but they're honestly so fun. Like just pure goofy ridiculous garbage and I love it. I'm really enjoying this book. More than some of the last few. My bath book (book I read when I take a bath) is A Room With A View by ES Forster. It's been a while since I've gotten to take a bath and read, so I'm hoping to get back to that soon. I do enjoy the Florence of it all and the English sensibilities of it very much. And then I'm also current rereading Labyrinth of Light (aka Fairy Jen), my City Homicide fantasy AU, which is one of the stories I am most proud of ever. I'm very much enjoying my reread.

Degrees: Two bachelor’s in Cognitive Science and Psychology. Currently working on getting a Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders

Instruments: Lol. I am so not musically gifted. I played the clarinet in 4th grade though.

Favourite author: I honestly don’t have one right now. I really love Tamora Pierce though. Maybe I should reread some stuff.

Favourite Star Wars: I am such a casual enjoyer of Star Wars. I wouldn’t even say I’m a fan? I like it, I do, but I’m not into it. So I am going to answer this as favorite PARTS - and that is anything with Queen Amidala because I’m gay and

Last Google Search: AMA Winners 2019

Recommend a video game: I mean, there’s the obvious Dragon Age and Mass Effect. If you haven’t played Fable, give that a go! It’s a lot of fun! I also really miss original Zoo Tycoon and (don’t judge) Sly Cooper. My parents gave away the PS2 years ago and I have missed it ever since T__T

Recommend a music album: CHAMPION by Bishop Briggs. It’s new, I’m loving it (MY SHINE is so good, y’all).

Recommend a book: not a book but a series - the Argeneau Vampires. It’s a romance serial, but it’s a real different take on vamps, and while it is very heterosexual (yes yes, *hiiiisss*), all of the men are filled with “THAT’S MY WIFE” kind of energy. It has like 30 books. go hog wild. 

Recommend a recipe: Girl, a patient’s mom made these for us and they are KILLER. Ugh, so good AND DAIRY FREE. Pumpkin muffins!

Share a creative thought that you had today: I spent my shower this morning thinking about an AU where Kass and Melarue actually meet in the middle of their respective divorces. Mel’s an actor, and Kass is actually a lead writer for a TV show they’re in. Kass for once has money so she divorces Qal’s ass once she’s secure enough to do so. Ash is only 1 and Aelynthi is like...5?? I can’t remember how old he is when the divorce goes down. Anyways, Kass and Mel meet and become supportive friends. After YEARS of good friendship, it grows into romantic love. @justanartsysideblog​ <3 

I’ve also been thinking a lot about a couple of D&D characters I have with no campaigns cuz fuck I don’t have time. But I love them a lot.
