#ares stepping in just to spite his uncle is pettiness and perfection

I love the theory that Ares helped Odysseus with the fight against Poseidon because it makes so much sense. Yeah he was singing about how the guy was a coward in God Games but I could see him spying on his uncle fighting this guy

Ares: Zeus damn it, he's not even letting the guy fight back? That's it! I'm stepping in!

Aphrodite: You're helping him?

Ares: Me damn it, yes! Uncle Poseidon is pulling a dad and I will not let that slide!

Like he just saw his sister get gravely injuries but their dad to set this man free and now his bitter uncle is messing that up?Oh no, no, no. Not with the God of war watching.

Team Ares... Mostly because I loved his character in that Kevin Sorbk Hercules show lol.
