LOVERS ROCK
Warnings: kissing, fluff
Summary: Jenna meets you during a football game.
A/N: decided to release this a bit earlier because i missed y’all
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The arena was packed, but even that was an understatement. Loud cheers and chants echoed through the arena, creating an atmosphere of excitement. Every seat was filled, and people were standing in the aisles and at the back of the stadium. It was clear that the crowd was ready for the game.
Everyone's eyes were on two people tonight. Messi and Ronaldo, two of the greatest players in the world, were about to take the field. The anticipation was palpable as the players lined up for the kickoff. It was a match that no one wanted to miss. Including yourself, you were seated further back in the stadium, not wanting to sit too close as it ruins the view of the game.
You heard the whistle blow, signalling the start of the match. You felt your heart racing as the ball was kicked off. You could feel the energy of the stadium rising, and the crowd roared with anticipation. You were already hooked and ready to watch the game unfold.
The players were in full motion, running and passing the ball with precision. Every time the ball moved closer to either goal, tension could be felt in the air. The players fought hard for every inch, and Ronaldo was so close to scoring a goal. He leapt up for a header, but the keeper was too quick and managed to save it. "Tão perto!" (So close!) You shout, standing up from your seat.
The crowd roared in appreciation for his effort, and the game continued on as if nothing had happened. Ronaldo looked disappointed, but he quickly got up and encouraged his teammates to keep pushing. He knew that one goal could turn the game around and he wasn't going to give up. The crowd cheered him on, and the players continued to battle it out.
Not too long after Messi scores his first goal of tonight, the majority of the people around you jumped in joy. But you, you sank down into your seat. Ronaldo looked dejected, but he kept his composure and continued to urge on his team.
"That was so good," you hear a girl say beside you despite the loud crowd. She suddenly turned to you and flashed a smile. You smiled back, still in awe of what Messi had just done. "He is okay." You tell her, leaning in close so she can hear you, your Portuguese accent strong in your words. She laughs, nodding in agreement. "He's one of my favorite players. I've been meaning to see him for a while."
You nod, "Ronaldo is my favorite." She raises her eyebrows in surprise. "Really? Most people around here say Messi is the best." You shrug, "I like both, but I am uhh, what's it called..." You snap your fingers, and squint your eyes trying to remember the right word. "Tendencioso..." The girl furrows her eyebrows in confusion.
"Ah, biased! That's the word." The girl smiles and nods in understanding. " She giggles, "Yeah, same here. It's always Messi vs Ronaldo with everyone." You chuckle in agreement. "Exactly, but it's just opinion, right?" She nods, "Yeah, opinion."
"Where are you from?" She asks, and you reply, "I'm from the United States." She grins and says, "Really? You have a very strong accent." You chuckle, "From hanging out with my father and grandma so much." She smiles knowingly and says, "I see. Family has a way of influencing accents. I'm Jenna by the way."
You smile, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Y/N." You both laugh and the conversation turns to other topics, the game no longer the topic. You share stories of your families and the different experiences you've had growing up, and how those experiences have shaped your outlook on life.
"My mom is actually here with me. She's in the bathroom somewhere," Jenna says. You adjust the glasses on your face with a smile. "My father is here too, he's probably outside getting some fresh air." You say, looking around.
Looking back on the field you watch as the game is coming to a close. Just then Jenna's mom comes back. You turn to Jenna's mom and introduce yourself. "It's nice to meet you," you say with a friendly smile. Jenna's mom smiles back and says, "It's nice to meet you too!" You all laugh and exchange a few more pleasantries before focusing back on the game.
Ronaldo's team comes out on top and you jump up, clapping your hands in excitement. Jenna laughs at you, playfully rolling her eyes at your reaction. After the game, Jenna and you sit back and continue talking as the players make their way to the locker rooms.
Ronaldo waves at you from a distance and you smile, waving back. Jenna notices and her mouth drops in shock. "Did Ronaldo just wave at you?" You nod, feeling your cheeks burn in embarrassment.
With your hoodie up and glasses on, no one knew that you were Ronaldo's kid. It felt nice to just be able to sit back and watch him play without a bunch of people pestering you.
Jenna looks at you wide-eyed and full of admiration. You smile and shrug it off, not wanting to make a big deal out of it. "Would rather it be Messi," you joke causing Jenna to cover her mouth in laughter.
You both chuckle at your joke, and the moment passes. You can feel the admiration between you both, a newfound connection forming.
Not long after that, a man with a camera approaches the two of you. "Jenna! Can we get a photo?" Jenna obliges, posing for the camera while holding up a customized jersey. The man takes a few shots and then thanks Jenna before walking away. Jenna turns to you and grins. "You're famous?" you ask.
Jenna nodded. "I'm an actor." She explained that her latest role was in a commercial for Adidas and that the customized jersey was part of her costume for the shoot. You were amazed and filled with admiration at her success, especially after hearing about her upbringing. "Huh," is all you can muster.
Jenna smiles, clearly pleased with the admiration. "Oh meu Deus, você é Wednesday Addams." You mumble to yourself, but Jenna hears it. Jenna's eyes lit up in surprise and she laughed. "That's right!" You smiled, "You did the dance!" You begin mocking the movements of the dance but Jenna shakes her head, her face heating up in embarrassment. Jenna laughs and playfully nudges you. "My secret is out," she said. You smiled, feeling happy that you had made her laugh.
Jenna and you continued to chat, finding out more about each other, and you were surprised to find out that you had a lot in common. Jenna's sarcastic jokes and remarks surprisingly made you feel at ease and you enjoyed the conversation. Before you knew it, the evening had passed and it was time to part ways.
It's been a couple of weeks since you've seen Jenna. You gotta admit, you missed talking to her. She didn't know who you were, but you knew who she was. You decided to comment under her most recent post, not thinking about the media would probably react.

jenna - i miss talking to you as well
jenna - im going to be in paris for the next few days, are you?
you - i'll be leaving soon
you - we should hang out
"So, do you get a lot of backlash for not playing soccer—football..." She glances at you, and you laugh at her slip-up before continuing. "Like your father?" She looks away, blushing. "No," you say. "My dad's really supportive. He just wants me to be happy. But the media, yes. Ruthless. I understand why people want me to play football - it's what my dad is best at, and it's what people expect of me. But I'm not interested."
Jenna nods in response, taking the mask off her face. "But enough about me. You are splitting image of your mother!" You say, smiling. Jenna blushes again and laughs lightly. "Yeah, I guess I do look like her," Jenna says, still blushing.
You take off your glasses, stopping your course, and finding a spot to stand nearby. You chuckle and look into Jenna's eyes, your smile growing wider. "You know, I'm really glad that I got to meet you, Jenna," you say, still smiling. Jenna grins back and nods in agreement.
"Do you only speak Portuguese and English?" Jenna asks you. You shake your head, "No, I know some Spanish too." Jenna's eyes light up. "Really? That's great," she says. "I don't speak much Spanish myself but I know a couple of words. Maybe you can teach me some," Jenna suggests. You nod and smile. "Claro, no hay problema."
You fidget with your glasses, staring into the shorter girl's gaze. You look away quickly as she holds eye contact strongly. "I uh, I only know a lot because of my father. He's fluent in Portuguese and since we used to live in Spain so I had to learn a bit of Spanish as well." She smiles, her eyes twinkling. "It's amazing how you can pick up a language so quickly."
You shrug, "E simples mesmo..." She laughs, her eyes crinkling in the corners as she understands what you're saying with a few context clues. "You're so modest! You must be really smart." You shake your head, "Não, eu só pratiquei muito." She squints her eyebrows before laughing, "I have no idea what you just said."
You smile, "Pratiquei means I practiced a lot. I just took the time to learn it." She nods, "That's impressive." You chuckle, "It's nothing special. Everyone can do it if they put in the effort." She smiles, "Most people don't. That's what makes it special."
You nod, what she said was true. It also felt nice to get so many compliments from her about something so simple. "Are you hungry?" She nodded and smiled. "I haven't eaten anything since lunch, so I'm starving." You both laughed and offered to buy her dinner. She agrees, pulling up her mask before the two of you head off together.

Several months have passed since you and Jenna were spotted together in Paris. Rumours have been swirling about the two of you ever since. Some people say you're in a relationship, while others say it was just a casual fling. Whatever the truth is, nobody knows for sure.
All anyone can do is speculate, and the answers remain shrouded in mystery. Jenna has refused to comment on the matter, and you have stayed silent. Both of you have left the public to guess what's really happening between you two. You didn't know what you two were either to be fair. But one thing was clear: the connection between you was undeniable. Despite the lack of communication between you two, the bond was still there. It was a feeling neither one of you could deny.
Jenna felt herself wanting to be touching you every second. Your presence was just so comforting. You were like a magnet, drawing her in closer and closer. While all you wanted to do was stare into Jenna's eyes, her eyes expressed so much, and it was obvious that she was in love with you. Well, obvious to everyone except you of course.
Jenna's heart raced as she looked at you. She wanted to say something, but nothing came out. All she could do was stand there, hoping you'd notice her feelings and finally make a move.
Now back in the United States, you were at Jenna's place, a vinyl lowly playing in the background. Jenna laid against your shoulder as the two of you sat on the couch, just enjoying each other's company. You were actually teaching her some Portuguese, as she told you she downloaded Duolingo not too long ago. It was cute how she was going through all this trouble to learn your father's native language. She said she wanted to be able to communicate with your family if she visited them.
You were so proud of her effort, and she seemed to be really enjoying it. "Olá, sou a Jenna. Prazer em conhecê-lo." (Hi, I'm Jenna. Pleasure to meet you.) Jenna said slowly, repeating your words. You smiled and replied, "Muito prazer, Jenna! Você fala Português muito bem." (Nice to meet you, Jenna! You speak Portuguese very well.) She furrowed her eyebrows, trying to decipher what you said. You smiled and repeated what you said, slower, and she nodded in understanding. "Obrigado!" (Thank you!)
Jenna smiled and repeated the phrase back to you almost perfectly. You praised her for her effort, and she beams with pride. She had been learning Portuguese for a few weeks, and it was great to see her progress. "See, it is not that bad." You tell her. "You are doing really well!" Jenna smiled even wider and thanked you for the encouragement.
"Let's keep going," you said. "You are learning so fast, and I'm proud of you!" Jenna nodded in agreement, and you both got back to practicing Portuguese. After a while, you started to get up. Jenna furrowed her brows in confusion. "Where are you going?" she asked. You smiled and said, "That's enough for today. You've made great progress, I was going to head home." Jenna stared at you for a few seconds before speaking up, "You could stay here for tonight. If you want of course."
You hesitated for a moment before answering, "That sounds nice. I would be happy to stay." Jenna smiled and got up, motioning for you to sit back down. Instead, you turned up the vinyl player and held out your hand to Jenna. She began laughing, covering her mouth with her hand as she shook her head. "I can't dance." She laughs and you tilt your head in response, a smile on your lips. "Come on, it's easy," you say, dancing a bit on your own.
Jenna smiles at you and you hold out your hand again. "Por favor?" Jenna takes your hand and you start to twirl her around the room, the music guiding your movements. Jenna laughs, resting her head on your shoulder. Her laughter is contagious and you can't help but join in. You slowly come to a stop, Jenna still in your arms. As the music fades away, you find yourself lost in her eyes.
Jenna smiles her eyes glancing around your face. You lean in and gently press your lips against hers, feeling her lips soft against yours. Jenna's hands grip your shirt, pulling you deeper into the kiss. You wrap your arms around her waist and pull her closer, your heart pounding in your chest. You finally pull away, both of you breathless. You gaze into each other's eyes, a silent understanding passing between you. You lean in and kiss her again, this time softer and slower.
You break the kiss and Jenna's face breaks into a huge smile. She rests her forehead against yours, her eyes full of love and joy. "Eu te amo..." (I love you...) she whispers, her voice barely audible. You smile, bringing her into a tight hug before you press a kiss on the top of her head.
"Eu também te amo." (I love you too.)

Louis Tomlinson and his sister Lottie delighted England fans at the Glastonbury Festival on Sunday, ensuring they wouldn't miss out on the Three Lions' last-16 tie against Slovakia.
Fans attending the festival in Worthy Farm were devastated when organisers announced they wouldn't be screening any Euro 2024 matches, over fears they would clash with planned performances.
However, Louis ensured fans wouldn't miss out, by setting up the TV in the middle of his campsite, drawing in hundreds of fans to watch the tense game unfold.
Speaking to the BBC, Louis admitted that fans had branded him 'the god of the festival' adding it was 'a little bit touch and go at times' due to the TV's glitchy signal.
'Luckily we got the win, we pulled it off,' he said. '[I'm] made up.'
As the game headed into extra time, Louis also told The Guardian: 'It's the second screen I've bought. The first got cracked.
'I wasn't going to take credit for it because it looked like we were going to lose in normal time, but now that we've equalised I'm happy to.'
The match wasn't short of drama, with England coming dangerously close to crashing out of the tournament, before a moment of magic from Jude Bellingham brought the team level.
Manager Gareth Southgate's men looked on the brink of an embarrassing Euros exit in Gelsenkirchen, only for Bellingham's spectacular overhead kick to salvage an equaliser deep into stoppage-time.
And skipper Harry Kane delighted the England fans who made up the majority inside Gelsenkirchen's 60,000-capacity Arena AufSchalke with the decisive goal - as the Three Lions turned their Round of 16 showdown on its head in 196 seconds.
England had been jeered off at half-time as they went in a goal down to Ivan Schranz's 25th-strike for the unfancied Slovakians, who are ranked 45th in the world - 40 places below England.
And there was evident disbelief as Southgate sent the same eleven back on to the field for the second period, with boos ringing out within two minutes of the restart.
But the mood dramatically changed with Bellingham's stoppage-time equaliser, which sent the game into extra-time - followed swiftly by Kane's bullet header to put England in front.
England's victory means they will face Switzerland in the quarter-finals next Saturday in Dusseldorf, again at 5pm.
Switzerland progressed by triumphing 2-0 over reigning champions Italy, who previously beat England on penalties in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley.
The Three Lions' Gelsenkirchen clash came one day short of 18 years since England were knocked out of the 2006 World Cup in the same Arena AufSchalke venue, defeated on penalties in a quarter-final against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.
Sunday's game was broadcast live on ITV1, whose punditry team included former England players Gary Neville and Ian Wright.
Footage of Neville and Wright's reaction to Bellingham's goal was shared by ITV on X, and it is fair to say that they enjoyed it as much as any other England fan.
Both men initially celebrated by running around with their arms raised before Neville jumped into Wright's arms.
Neville then let out multiple high-pitch screams before shouting: 'We're not going home!'
Despite his boisterous reaction to Bellingham's moment of magic, Neville was later critical of England's performance in his post-game analysis.
He said: 'Getting over the line and winning in tournaments is all important.
'But to think you can go through a month-long tournament playing like we are doing and get through to the end... I think is unrealistic.'

hello party people! the stanley cup playoffs start right now, so in an attempt to tempt y’all to watch, i have compiled a list of playoff moments that altered my brain chemistry (as someone who has watched the playoffs every year since 2010)! even if you don’t want to watch hockey, the sport is pretty ridiculous so here is just a small sample of the extent of the craziness!
washington capitals vs. pittsburgh penguins 2009 (round 2 game 2): hockey’s messi and ronaldo, sidney crosby and alex ovechkin put on a show for the washington crowd as they each score hattys in the same game. the capitals would go on to win the game, but the penguins would win the series (and later the cup), but this game has some of the best highlights as the two best players in hockey at their peaks showed off their skills for sexy, sexy hockey!
chicago blackhawks vs. philadelphia flyers 2010 (round 4 game 6): in overtime of game 6 of the stanley cup finals, a chicago player scored the game winner to win the hawks the cup. the weird part? nobody saw it go in except the player and his teammates. the crowd, flyers, and broadcasters didn’t see it go in. known as the “phantom goal” this goal won the hawks their first cup in almost 50 years.
vancouver canucks vs. chicago blackhawks 2011 (round 1 game 7): this is the game that made me fall in love with hockey. little 7-year-old me was glued to my television screen all night watching this game. the blackhawks and canucks had matched up in the playoffs for three years in a row, and the blackhawks (at the time the reigning cup champions) had beat the canucks every time. this series had gone the full 7 games, with the canucks winning the first 3 and the blackhawks coming from behind to win the next 3. earlier in game 7, hero alex burrows had opened the scoring then missed a penalty shot. with the game tied at 1, just over 5 minutes into overtime, burrows gets the puck and scores, defeating the blackhawks to send the canucks to the next round. they would go on to lose the cup in the final, but this was the golden generation of canucks games and the vibe in vancouver? unmatched. it gave birth to two of the most iconic radio calls: “they slayed the dragon” by john shorthouse, and “its a wonderful day for an exorcism” from jim hughston. this defined my childhood fr
boston bruins vs. toronto maple leafs 2013 (round 1 game 7): mere weeks after the tragedy at the boston marathon, the bruins were down 4-1 with just over 14 minutes to play in the 3rd period. they were down 4-2 with 9 minutes left. with two goals in 30 seconds, with less than 90 seconds remaining, the bruins tied the game and patrice bergeron won the game for the bruins in overtime. the maple leafs, having blown a 3 goal lead, ended their season. as of right now, they have not won a round of the playoffs since 2004.
tampa bay lightning vs. boston bruins 2018 (round 2 game 4): the playoffs can get quite scrappy! in order to get an advantage over his opponent after a little scrum, noted league rat brad marchand licked a man. yes fully licked. previously in the playoffs he had kissed and licked another man, and this caused the league to outlaw licking. the bruins would go on to lose the series, even though marchand continued his ridiculous antics
vegas golden knights vs. vancouver canucks 2020 (round 2 games 5-7): in 2020, the playoffs were played in a bubble at one arena with no spectators. after game 4, that the knights won, it was discovered that the canucks goalie jacob markstrom had an injury. with the knights leading the series 3-1, the canucks needed to win 3 games in a row to move on to the next round. enter thatcher demko, a rookie goalie who had never played a playoff game before. over games 5, 6 and 7, demko made 123 saves, including a 48 save shutout in game 6, to keep the canucks in until game 7. he stood on his head, he was incredible, and he went over 100 minutes without the knights scoring a goal. unfortunately, with a knights shutout in game 7, the canucks wouldn’t move on, but “bubble demko” would live in infamy as thatcher demko’s intro to playoff hockey. hes my favourite goalie
pittsburgh penguins vs. new york rangers 2022 (round 1 game 1): as both teams were ready to fight it out in the playoffs, this game was tied at the end of three periods. in the playoffs, overtime lasts 20 minutes with 15 minute breaks between them. in the 3rd period of overtime, and the 6th period of hockey evgeni malkin scored for the penguins after over 90 minutes of hockey. it was midnight at madison square garden. the rangers goalie, igor shesterkin, made 79 saves in the loss, and the penguins goalie louis domingue, who came on in the second overtime to replace an injured casey desmith, went viral for reports that he ate spicy pork and broccoli between periods to keep up his energy. this is one of the longest games in nhl history, and the rangers would go on to win the series in 7 games.
edmonton oilers vs. calgary flames 2022 (round 2 game 1): the battle of alberta is one of the classic rivalries of the nhl, and the first game of last year’s round 2 delivered. the goalies seemed to be unable to keep the puck out of the net, and flames and oilers fans both watched as the two teams combined for 15 goals, with the flames winning 9-6. the oilers would go on to win the series, but the sloppy, goal-heavy hockey has stuck in my mind ever since last may
these are some of my highlights! i hope you all enjoy the playoffs (because i know i will), and all the beard-growing and towel-twirling that comes along with them. happy stanley cup season everyone!

Bom dia!
Você existe porque há um Deus
Rev.

Somos convidados a crer!

Dele somos, a Ele servimos e adoramos. Obrigado Senhor Jesus!

MUN 2-2 LEE: A Vertical Slice of Life Under ten Hag
…Low to De Gea's near post and it flies straight through his hands and intothe bottom corner. 1-0 Brentford.
A pout, an exasperated crossing of the arms. A wincing usually characteristic of a poor, beaten canine who beared witness to a raised fist.
It was at this point, a mere 100 or so minutes into the 2022-23 Premier League Season, that I was ready for the towel to be thrown. I‘d take my ball and go home, numb after the frustrations a ten year epoch of darkness following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson had brought on. I had heard this bothersome tune before under Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, and finally Ole. As sterile City and Lilliputian Liverpool claimed trophies like Larry King claimed spouses, we languished in mediocrity. Last season felt like the the last bout of a once-mighty fighter‘s career; the fight that’d driven them to flee the arena they once dominated out of sheer embarrassment, not to mention a touch of brain damage.
What followed felt like football’s answer to the Shinkansen: in what felt like moments, the scenery changed at blinding pace. In the blink of an eye, we were so far from where we had boarded. And the bullet train conductor was none other than the Vibing Dutchman, Erik ten Hag.
MUN 2-1 LIV. Casemiro. MNU 3-1 ARS. Casemiro. MUN 2-0 TOT. Casemiro’s header to equalize at Stamford Bridge. Garnacho accelerating past Fulham’s defense to deliver the killing blow at Craven Cottage. Rashford unlocking the Ultra Instinct. Casemiro. Ripping out the mean blue hearts of our noisy neighbors, 2-1. Casemiro. Old Trafford a fortress once more. Casemiro. CASEMIRO. CASEMIRO!
The highs remind us of what the sun felt like on our pale, downtrodden faces. They reminded us that football is about passion, bringing out the best in oneself, and most essentially: it’s fun.
But could it be possible that, instead of watching this hero‘s journey through until its natural end, when the ring is thrown into the fires of Mount Doom, when the young Jedi resists the dark side and defeats the evil emperor, we might have wanted the protagonist to become the Legend before it was earned? Was winning the league ever really supposed to happen this year?
Ten Hag has done so much in so little time because he’s instilled a very tangible sense of standards among this squad. They press cohesively, like a white blood cell surrounding and obliterating a harmful foreign substance. The center-halves, Licha and Varane, have the same rabid intensity and methodical coolness (respectively) that we saw during the halcyon days of Vidic and Ferdinand and sadly took for granted. The midfield takes bold steps toward the penalty box and creates chances instead of a constant rotation of metronomic sideways passes. And our attackers finish those chances! Imagine that.
But Wednesday night versus Leeds showed us that there is much left in the hourglass of our hero’s journey. We lack quality and depth in midfield, our attackers aside from Rashford are inconsistent, and our goalkeeper, once the lone bright spot of a floundering club, has reached obsolescence in the modern game.
The shortcomings ring a louder bell, but there are positives to be found. Our spirit was bruised and battered at 2-0, but we showed grit and determination as we scored two in quick succession to equal their total. And that second goal, the one that sent the Stretford End into an animalistic fury, was from our star boy, Jadon Sancho, returning from a long hiatus masterminded by ten Hag. Of the many pieces of evidence to be used in the Court of Man Management, such as the handling of the Ronaldo Debacle, Garnacho’s habitual tardiness, and Luke Shaw’s wavering motivation on the pitch and in the kitchen, there is perhaps no greater show of ten Hag’s skill in dealing with these volatile personalities than his rehabilitation of Sancho. He seems a man made new, with a confidence that can highlight the natural flair and calm lethality in his game that we hope can continue for many years.
Wednesday night was a microcosm of the season so far. Many shortcomings that hopefully only take a summer to resolve. But many positives that ought to have Reds from all four corners of the world delighted for the daylight shining through the thick canopy of Liverpool and City success.
We are impressive. Most impressive. But we are not Jedi yet.

Disclosure: This article does not represent investment advice. The content and materials featured on this page are for educational purposes only. XYZVerse storms the meme coin arena, blending sports passion and profits. Presale soars past $5M; targets 999X growth. The meme coin space will never be the same. The new champion has come to generously reward all sports fans and meme lovers. It’s like Ronaldo’s passes — unstoppable. It’s the crushing power of Tyson’s punches — leaving competitors dazed. It’s McGregor’s precision — hitting the target with knockout profits. XYZVerse is in the ring, and its target is no less than 999X growth.  Whoosh, and 10 stages of the presale already passed. Hefty $5 million already raised. From $0.0001 to $0.002. Those who missed buying XYZ in the first stage must be really sorry.  The current presale is just a heat-up. By the listing XYZ is all set to rise to $0.1, which is about thousand times more than its launch price. The momentum is building like a rolling stone. XYZ is already making waves as the first-ever all-sports meme coin that is gathering an army of most outrageous and profit-loving fans.  Why get into XYZVerse now? The biggest luck that people might have as crypto lovers is getting into a high-potential project that is still in its presale phase. By the way, the presale for XYZ is in full swing now. Out of 15 total stages, 9 have already sold out, showing strong momentum as the token approaches its Token Generation Event (TGE). Here’s how the numbers stack up right now: $0.002 – Current price per token $0.0025 – Price at the next stage (+25% increase) $0.1 – Price at the final presale stage (+5,000% increase) $5 million – Raised so far, with excitement building daily The biggest advantage of joining a presale is getting in at a steep discount. Early adopters who jumped in at Stage 1 bought XYZ at just $0.0001 — a whopping 99.9% discount compared to the final stage price. The golden rule of presales is simple: the earlier someone invests, the bigger their potential rewards. As the token gains exposure and demand increases, so does its value. By Stage 15, XYZ’s price will be 5,000% higher than it is today — making this presale the perfect time to act. Of course, investing in crypto can be unpredictable. Not every project succeeds, but XYZ stands out. With strong community backing and growing momentum, it’s primed for a breakout once the presale concludes and the token lists on major exchanges. What makes XYZ a growth powerhouse? At the core of XYZ is its passionate community, known as the XYZVersers. In the world of meme coins, a loyal and engaged community often defines success, and XYZ is no exception. By running a presale, XYZ is building this foundation early, ensuring that when the TGE arrives, the project already has a strong base of supporters. What happens next? It’s all up to the XYZVersers. The community will drive growth, adoption, and the overall success of the project. How to join the XYZ movement  Ready to become an XYZVerser? Great choice! Follow these simple steps to grab XYZ tokens before the presale ends: Set up a Wallet: Use Metamask or Trust Wallet to create a new wallet or connect an existing one. Add a network: Add the preferred network through the “Add Network” option in settings. Connect a wallet: Link to Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, or another supported network. Choose a payment token: Select the token to buy XYZ with. Make a purchase: Enter the amount to buy or the amount to spend. Complete the transaction: Approve the purchase and check the wallet for XYZ tokens. Final call: Don’t miss out The presale isn’t just an opportunity — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to buy XYZ at a fraction of its potential future value. With just 5 stages left, prices are already rising fast, and demand is soaring. Investors who act now could see exponential returns when XYZ hits the open market. From Oil Fields to Sports Fields: Saudi Arabia’s Power Over the Sporting World.
By Max Taylor
In the past five years, Saudi Arabia has become a major player on the global sports stage, going beyond it's traditions to embrace a new era of competition.  From hosting high profile events across the country such as Formula 1 races and international golf tournaments to investing heavily in the Saudi Pro League with household names such as Cristiano Ronaldo, the kingdom is redefining it's identity through sport. The country is set to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup making it the second time in 12 years the tournament has been held in the Middle East and makes the country one of the new homes for sport in the world.
Tumblr media

The transformation not only reflects a strategic vison for the economy but also a massive cultural shift as the nation seeks to connect with a more broad and diverse audience across the world. Saudi Arabia is also gradually embracing a more westernized approach becoming more acceptant with different lifestyles and cultures to further their ambitions as a leading nation in sport.
Saudi Arabia located in the middle east has significant Islamic history as the birthplace of the religion. Saudi Arabia today still remains the central hub for Islam housing the two holiest cites for Muslims, Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia is also the world’s biggest oil exporter making them as country extortionary amounts of money.
With Major events like Riyadh Season they have quickly become a celebration of culture and entertainment showcasing different events that highlight the country’s transformation. Over the past year the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh has started to get some of the best fights and events in combat sports history due to Riyadh Season and the backing of the Saudi government. The events have significantly boosted brand visibility and engagement, leading to lucrative partnerships as companies capitalize on the heightened interest in entertainment and tourism.
The events also offer Saudi Arabia to promote their own culture as the events attract international visitors and gives them an understanding of their culture.
As Saudi Arabia continues to invest and develop its sports culture, boxing and other combat sports such as MMA and pro wrestling have emerged as a massive sport that take place at Riyadh Season attracting both international and local interest.
(Over a million people have visited Riyadh Season since its birth and has now become a massive part of the sporting world)
From the first big fight in 2018 when Antony Joshua fought Andy Ruiz Jnr to now you have seen impressive growth and stability thanks to Riyadh Season and the impressive cards it keeps producing. It almost seems as if everyone should be happy with what Saudi Arabia is doing for the country but is that the case?
Sports Washing and Soft Power
Saudi Arabia has come under huge criticism for its human rights record, with restrictions on freedom of speech or expression, gender inequality and extremely harsh punishments for dissent. Despite the ongoing international scrutiny, the Saudi government has implemented limited reforms while continuing to suppress political opposition and impose restrictions on civil liberties.
Human Rights advocates have argued that the lack of progress on the situation highlights a systemic disregard for individual freedom and is being overshadowed by the country’s alliances and economic interests.
The situation very much complicates international effects to promote human rights as many nations have economic ties and security partnerships to Saudi Arabia. There are also accusations of Hypocrisy towards foreign policy due to this.
As a result, many have called for a more robust and principled approach to engagement with Saudi Arabia urging governments to prioritize human rights in trade deals and agreements to try and foster a meaningful change in the kingdom.
The kingdoms’ aggressive push for visibility on the global stage has raised massive concerns about sports washing, a tactic that’s been employed to improve the counties image whilst overshadowing its human rights issues. By investing in international sports such as Boxing, MMA and WWE to acquiring a stake in football club Newcastle United, Saudi Arabia aims to reshape its worldwide reputation and exert soft power, effectively diverting the attention away from their domestic problems.
In a recent article posted on the guardian by Ruth Michaelson, it states that Saudi Arabia has spent £4.9bn in sports deals since early 2021 which was more than quadruple the amount spent over a 6-year period.
Read the article Here
Other events have also attracted attention for sports washing and the Saudi Government exerting soft power and influence on the world.
Riyadh Season has expanded its brand internationally, highlighted by a major British title fight at Wembley Stadium where Antony Joshua faced Daniel Dubois earlier this year. Faced with major backlash from British press and British boxing fan alike the Saudi Arabia national anthem was sung before the main event.
Also, there was some backlash over the fact the people were handing out free programmes promoting Saudi Arabia and Riyadh Season. These Programmes contained Saudi tourism and Events and people didn’t feel it was right to be constantly handed and fed Saudi information.
Lucas Accardo who attended the event at Wembley Stadium said “You were constantly handed Saudi Propaganda when walking down Wembley way, Outside the Stadium and also inside”. “You could see people been forced to take it and then throwing it in the bin Which makes the whole process pointless though I don’t care about as we had a mega fight thanks to Saudi Arabia”.
Tumblr media
(Accardo was in attendance at Wembley Stadium for the stacked Riyadh Season card) Credit: Lucas Accardo.
“Riyadh Season has totality reinvented boxing as we know it, we are now getting the best and biggest fights in the world and its all down to them”. “In the past year we have seen Tyson Fury vs Usyk a title unification match and a match that we wouldn’t have expected if it wasn’t for Riyadh season’
He further added “the money that Riyadh season and the Saudi government are offering is definitely a factor in why we are getting the best fights now but let it carry on as I feel entertained and excited about what else is to come”
Accardo also commented on the fact the Saudi national anthem was played inside Wembley Stadium stating “If that’s what it takes to get the bests fights to happen in England I’m completely fine with it”.
This comes after comments made by Matchroom Chairmen Eddie Hearn commenting on the decision. Hearn commented after the backlash defending the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority and the chairman Turki Alalshikh who’s an advisor in the country’s royal court.
Tumblr media
When Speaking about Turki he said he was more than entitled to have the anthem played as a ‘sign of respect’. ‘He’s given British boxing, all the fighters, all the fans, the best night, he’s paid for it all.
WWE is another company to commit a long-term partnership with Saudi Arabia hosting major Pay Per Views across the kingdom and showcasing its biggest stars in their stadiums. While featuring high profile matches with iconic wrestlers that the kingdom, WWE expand its global reach, showing cultural exchange and providing fans in the region with a quality live experience.
Over this last weekend WWE hosted a premium live event in the Kingdom known as Crown Jewel. This thrilling event saw all of WWE major talent fight in the country including Roman Reigns and WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes.
instagram
(Cody Rhodes won his champion vs champion match against Gunther in Saudi Arabia Last Weekend).
There was also Women Fighting on the card showing Saudi Arabia progressing as previously women have been unable to fight on the card. Also, there were chants of WrestleMania (The Biggest WWE event) being screamed when Director Triple H was on stage leading to speculation that the event could take place in the Kingdom soon.
WWE host Crown Jewel every year in Saudi Arabia that has become a massive feature on the Wresting Calendar in recent years but it didn’t start that way. The show which first took place in 2018 faced a number of challenges that nearly killed off its reputation. From Saudi officials asking for dead wrestlers to appear at the show tied with the controversy surrounding the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the show faced serious backlash.
The 2019 Broadcast of the show was abruptly cut after WWE and Saudi Arabia faced money disputes. After the Show WWE planes faced alleged ‘mechanical issues’ which meant they were unable to make it to the planned Smackdown Live show the following night but many on the scene reported that the planes were grounded by the Saudi government on purpose.
Tumblr media
(The crown Prince pictured with ex WWE chairman Vince Mcmahon (Left) and WWE Chief Content Creator Triple H (Right) with the WWE Championship) Credit: Forbes.
In an article written by Fightful, a unnamed wrestler known as CW-2 due to lawsuits told them about how he and other wrestling legends such as Hulk Hogan and Rick Flair were told ‘Someone doesn’t want us to leave the country’ as they were left stranded on a place. He also went to add that that there was a ‘ton of guards blocking the exit’.
You can read the Fightful article Here
The Seriousness of this incident shows The Kingdoms power over companies and the damaging effect it can have on future shows as WWE had no one to wrestle for them the following night and had to use developmental talent to carry the SmackDown Live show the next night.
But, WWE have reignited their partnership with Saudi Arabia and now proceed to to make outstanding showcases in the kingdom gaining praise from fans internationally.
But as WWE in Saudi Arabia captures global attention, the excitement surrounding the Saudi Pro League is also gaining momentum, showcasing the country’s growing influence in sports.
Will the Pro League Rival the Prem?
The Saudi Pro League (Saudi top-flight football division) is experiencing a massive surge in investment, with billions of pounds being put into their football teams to attract some of the best names in the football enhancing the leagues infrastructure.
The league is committed to acquiring high profile players and coaches whilst the financial status of the country aims to promote Saudi Arabia as a significant player in world football. Over the past year greats of the game such as Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo have moved to the kingdom to play the game that they love and are receiving massive wage rises in their contracts even though they are both over the age of 30.
With a major financial backing and growing number of international stars, the Saudi Pro League could be poised to challenge the dominance of the Premier League and potentially transforming the global football landscape in the future.
Despite the lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, Many Footballers still aspire to play in Europe, driven by the prestige of the big leagues and the chance to showcase their talent on the biggest stage in the UEFA Champions league. This desire often stems from the competitive environment and rich history the competition has to offer.
However, the Saudi Pro League is rapidly growing and now gives good reasons why players may consider it seriously.

(Players like Ronaldo get millions of pounds for posting on social media Look below).

In an article by Rayhan Uddin for Middle eastern Eye, they discussed footballers making the move to Saudi. In this article, they presented a quote from Journalist Mostafa Mohamed.
Read Here.
‘For some Muslim players Approaching the twilight of their careers, the opportunity to experience and live in a Muslim nation is an attraction’
This article came after the ballon d’or winner at the time and also someone who practices Islam Karim Benzema moved to Pro League when he signed for Al-Ittihad and promotes the nation saying he’s planning to learn Arabic.
But will the Saudi Pro League ever rival the Premier League? The answer is yes potentially considering the amount of money being invested into the league and the fact that teams in the Pro League are gaining worldwide recantation due to the stars the teams have.
What’s the next steps for the Kingdom?
The 2034 world cup is set to take place in the kingdom allegedly beating Australia to host the biggest competition in the world. With Saudi Arabia’s human rights record and also rules about relationships with people from the same sex, drinking alcohol and also freedom of speech, the question should be how have they got it and should they host it?
But like the previous World Cups in Qatar who have similar human rights issues and Russia who are now currently at war with neighboring country Ukraine, FIFA haven’t had an issue with hosting in countries with human rights issues and have produced great tournaments. Well known pundits such as Gary Neville feel that we should address the issues in the counties.
Riyadh Season will again be hosting the 2nd bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on the 21st December, a fight that unified all the world titles earlier this year.
Info on times and where to buy it Here.
instagram
Saudi Arabia’s strategic investments in sport enables the nation to change its public perception and its global image. By hosting major events with some of the best athletes in the world, the kingdom does look to be using its soft power to influence and showcase their views and traditions. But by doing this they are limiting the audiences that can attend.
They might’ve won the hearts of mind of their nation but there’s still a long way to go if they want to win over the entire world.

Pitch invader ran towards Cristiano Ronaldo ‘like a lover’ & says he would ‘do it 100,000 times again’ despite spending night in Scottish cells
WHAT HAPPENED? Hawdin Ezzat – who fled his native Kurdistan in 2021 – looked to make the most of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when CR7 graced the international arena at Hampden Park. Despite it being forbidden to jump advertising hoardings and cross the pitch, Ezzat made a beeline for Ronaldo towards the end of an otherwise forgettable goalless draw in Glasgow.
