hello everyone. what an insane couple of days it's been. i was completely offline, writing and finishing this fic to post today when i came online to an absolute disaster.

i want to say first and foremost as i have said a million times. i am a briize. i will be here with riize, just as i was during seunghan's hiatus, and when i found out he was joining again. i have no plans to stop writing or posting fics, or supporting riize.

i also want to say, and i know this will ruffle some feathers, i want to also say now is not the time to boycott. i definitely encourage everyone to take a step away if needed, but i urge you guys to think about riize. imagine how traumatizing this situation is for them. the back and forth between the company and fans. the uncertainty they have felt if they were left in the dark the same way we were for those 10 months. right now, they need their fans. back in march the boys lamented that they have more conversations than we know and they want us to trust them. wonbin said in a vlog he hopes briize will love riize as they are. i urge you guys to think about them before you cast them off completely. before you unstan for something out of their control. this boycott will not effect sm, it will not effect the toxic fanbase nearly as much as it will effect the boys. acting out of hate and from the suddenness of the situation will leave you with regret, i promise you that.

i say this because i think i understand where many of you are coming from. i see the common sentiment among writers and briize in general is that riize brought you guys back to kpop, they pulled you out of slumps whether it was writing or unfortunate events in your life. i hope that those things aren't thrown away from a knee jerk reaction. if they brought you such happiness why throw it away so abruptly. if you claim to support all the members, that includes all the members. i believe seunghan's statement was written in a way to emphasize that he made this choice for the betterment of riize. i grant him his agency to leave the group, and i take his words at face value. i will continue to support riize as i believe he would've wanted, and i hope you guys take that into mind as well.

i will not post today out of respect for the timeline. i will not be answering or entertaining any askz that have hate speech of any kind. i care about you all deeply. take care of yourselves.
