HAIKYU BOYS WHEN THEY SEE A BUG

(except it isn't just a bug,it's a spider. A big legged spider,which runs fast..........)

It was weekends and after school hours that me, Yamaguchi and Y/n studied together. Well at least on the days when we don't have volleyball practice.

Like today.

Today was one of those fortunate days when coach called off the practice but I am pretty sure that his majesty and his tangerine are still practicing their new moves.

Anyways,we were studying in Y/n's room.

Sitting on the floor with snacks between us, doing our own work, silently. Just how I like. Occasionally we discuss our doubts,but with me and Y/n being super intelligent and Yamaguchi being average intelligent it doesn't last long, at last we end in silence. Until Yamaguchi screamed or you can say screeched out of nowhere and ran out of room after throwing his notebook.

Which hit Y/n's face as they were sitting in front of him. I stifled my laughter,it must have hurt them but the situation was indeed funny. Their expression soon shifted into excitement. Their eyes shined,looking like two crescent moons. They smiled brightly,almost reminding me of Hinata.

I wonder why something that isn't me, made them smile like that.

They looked at me and whispered,"There's a spider in here."

Ahh! Of course,a spider. I can't believe I was being jealous of a spider. That's why Yamaguchi ran too.

"The-" I stopped myself as I wasn't speaking in whisper. I noticed that they always whispered whenever there was an insect. Apparently they believes that insects will hear that we are talking about them.

What a dork, a cute dork.

"The only insect here is you." I whispered,I could have said something else and let them ramble about the spider but I know even if I insult them, they'll still return the topic to the spider and continue giving me spider lessons.

They giggled and replied,"Tsukishima Kei, pay some respect to the insects. Also spiders aren't insect."

"I will rather let you throw me out of the window than hear you talk about it." I lied.

They rolled their eyes and smirked.

Wait! Are they really considering throwing me out? They have done it before with them being almost as tall as me and stronger than me. The team laughed but it was kinda scary,not that I will admit it to anyone.

Before I could take back my words they picked me up and put me on their shoulder and marched towards the window.

They won't throw me out of the window right? But then again they have a balcony outside the window so they might do it. Just because there's a balcony outside doesn't mean I should let them!

"Okay! You can continue on the spider!!!"

They stopped on their tracks and gently put me down.

"That's what happens when you forget that I am one centimetre taller than you. Plus you are weak."

I couldn't say anything since I was trying not to blush but failed to do so. I just pushed my glasses up and took my seat on the floor careful not to sit on whatever spider they saw.

I couldn't stop blushing and it didn't helped that they sat beside me.

They pointed on the wall and whispered,"Do you know what it's called?"

I looked at where they were pointing and froze at my place. At times like this I regret wearing glasses. On the white wall,I could clearly see the big ass spider just sitting there. With its long long very long legs. If I was Yamaguchi I would run and screech too.

Btw where did he went?

Coming back to my senses I answered, "Ashidaka-gumo."

"I thought you wouldn't know since you are the dino guy. But correct, it's common so I won't praise you."

"I don't need your praises." I lied. When they praise me, it makes my day and I think they know that too.

"So it's called Huntsman Spider in English. And it was on the floor when Yamaguchi and I saw it. Can you believe,it ran to that wall so fast!!! And ofc you'll know that they don't web..." They rambled in whispers and I admired them secretly. Pretending that I don't care, only letting a small smile to form on my face.

While my cheeks were blushing furiously and I internally had the biggest smile I ever could have.

"Y/n? Why is Yamaguchi unconscious outside the door?" Their mother asked as she came inside with more snacks.
