You know how, in so many AU's Danny is comprised of mostly sentient goo?

Unfortunately my brain kinda latched onto the BNHA Queen Been thing.

But instead of a parasitic relationship, Danny finds an exhausted, injured bee queen (probably being chased down by a lone wasp or something), and thinking how most people would kill the poor thing when he KNOWS it can still live, he just opens a honeycomb in his shoulder, plops the bee in there, and off he goes to school.

Because school stops for no sleep-deprived teen hero.

Later on, and after trying to draw it out with honey, lo and behold, his Core has bonded to the little bug. He can tell her state disturbingly accurately, and how relieved his new tenant is that this gentle giant blessed her with shelter and food.

Maybe, Bee can stay? Bee make honey, and Giant Friend keep Bee safe?

In his current state as a newly-dead Baby Ghost, Danny's Core has yet to settle in it's true and final manifestation. It studies and mimics the bee, and the little workers that come curiously poking at Danny to investigate. Bee does as bees do, and now Danny's very happy about his Sentient Goo composition, because he knows for a fact that humans would NOT be ok with being a walking beehive, even if his Core is always happily purring with every little buzz his new friends send out to him when they come and go.

Jazz is...concerned. Her little brother's eyes have little flecks of gold in them now, and his nails have started tinging black at the base. And he's always...buzzing? And always attracting bees. There's always at least one bee on him, usually hiding in his hair, although she thinks she's seen one crawl under his shirt and not come out until way later.

Every single beekeeper in the city takes one look at Phantom, and his slowly changing form, and start leaving bee care stuff as offerings to the dead child guardian of the city, and manuals on proper beekeeping practices, and bee behaviours. Edd, on the farm up North saw the poor boy, with a shiny new beekeeper's suit held up by too-big boots and a hastily tied belt, run a typical beeline path over the orchard, and then stop confused, hovering in the air and chittering at a little swarm of his new bee friends, and took it upon himself to wave down the boy to teach him some of his own years of experience.

The first time the Fentons try to chase down the Ghost Boy in front of the beekeepers, they get sat down amidst frankly terrifying farmers of all genders and backgrounds, and get a good, stern talking-to about what kind of damage they're doing to that poor boy. "He's the literal Guardian of Beekind, and you're out here threatening to shoot him?!?!?"

Sam is very happy about this. Her friend is living his best bee life, and connecting with his hive. Truly, his mind is abuzz with theories. She's never seen him bee so eager to study something, like he is to learn more about bee-ing a living hive. Tucker would rather they DIDN'T pun about the little fuzzy menaces, but he's happy that they're happy.

Just...the Fenton parents going past the park, and seeing their son whistle, and a swarm of bees lift from his hair and under his shirt, to buzz happily over the flowers Sam's conjuring, with whatever piece of Undergrowth's powers that her body processed and assimilated for itself.

They go back home.

The portal is turned off for the first time in too long.

There's a shadow on the back wall of the tunnel. It's in a shape they know too well. The handprint that was charred over the dreaded button (and why was it even in there? They're scouring every blueprint and theory, evey wild stray though that got scribble down. Even the little drawing their kids made on the edges of the blueprint paper), and have a Disturbing Realization. Except there's no actual human matter in there, asides from some black and white hairs that were caught in a slightly loose panel when, they assume, their boy bumped into the frame of the portal when crawling out of it.

It's...well, the result are a statistic impossibility. They're horrifying to look at, and even just this much proves so much...wrong...their little boy is a ghost, in some capacity, and he's made friends with bees. Jazz gets the dubious honor of sadly holding her parents as they break down.

A month later, and Danny quietly walks into the lab, sees a properly warded and secured portal, and sighs in relief as he presents Mom and Dad (and he's been so terrified that they wouldn't want to be Mom and Dad anymore if they knew...) with a little test vial sample of...red honey?

Danny says it's Blood Blossom honey with the brightest grin, while his parents have flashbacks to the first Moment of Clarity in the portal. Their boy is playing with such dangerous things that could kill him, and he doesn't even know it!!!

Meanwhile, Danny's Core had to adapt to sustain bee life. Instead of whatever wonderful rainbow marble Frostbite was expecting it to become, it has started turning into a little honeycomb piece, with every slot coloured for the powers he's developed against and/or copied off his foes (perhaps, even, straight up stole them? Little bee friends that steal bits of ectoplasm from the Ghosts to feed to Danny's Core, like how the workers will feed the Queen honey?).

It has learned Plant and Not Plant, and has decided that it needs to be Immune To Plant to make better honey.

Danny's happy, bright grin is a big contrast to his horrified parents. They're all going to have a big laugh about it later on. But right now?

Right now, Danny's telling his parents that, after sticking a fork in an outlet, baby has decided to drink bleach!!!!!!

They're...in a panic. Danny's getting shaken like a pepper shaker. His bee friends are...not happy, but the Baby Sentient Goo that makes up their Giant Host whispers that Mama is worried and Papa is scared Baby will die fully.

Jazz would just like them to stop screaming and think...

Danny taps his now fully black nails together while he has to explain himself on why in his brain did he THINK it was ok to eat Blood Blossom honey?!?!?!? Blinks adorable golden-blue eyes at his still slightly haggard parents, and whines that he got curious about what it tasted like. Then proceeds to present a whole case study on how his Core adapted to process the honey version of Blood Blossom nectar and make it safe for Ghosts to eat.

He doesn't tell them about the mangled flowers in the backyard. No, that's for Maddie to wake up at 3 in the morning and see the bee version of Mothman hunched over her freesias, munching on the flowers like and staring at her with sleepy golden eyes.

Danny gets sprayed with water like an unruly cat.

Then in the morning is presented with his own special spot of yard to plant all kinds of flowers that he likes.

Which he tests...by going to the park and chewing on one flower of each species available.

There's A Lot of types to try.

His ghostly tastebuds interpret classic poison as "spicy"...Jazz will never again see foxglove in the same way.

(as a matter of fact, there's a pretty worrying amount of fox gloves where I grew up, and they're just...there. No one's going to touch them, but they're out in the open, especially around the exposed parts of a little stream that runs through the city, so I wouldn't be that surprised to see Danny also gets his hands on some of them)

(This is mostly rambles and stream-of-consciousness thoughts, so uhhhh...enjoy my scatterbrained ideas?)

Rosenhedge St. 48 is inspired by one of the houses I always see on my way home from work and I love how it looks once autumn arrives and the foliage turns yellow, orange and red. While this isn't a scary or creepy build, it's perfect for spending autumn in the coziest and comfiest fashion.

Rosenhedge St. 48 is a 30x20 residential lot best placed in Brindleton Bay (Sporting Space or Hinquarter Hideaways lots) or Henford-on-Bagley (13 Nettle Lane or Cordelia's Secret Cottage). It could potentially also look good in Glimmerbrook or maybe even the new world, that's all up to you!

The house has 3 bedrooms, one master bedroom and two children's rooms, one for a child and another for a teenager. It also has 3 bathrooms, one for guests and the others are ensuites.

The more poses you make as a pose creator, the more things you learn and the more things you see. 

Maybe you have seen my former post, maybe not. But I want to address again that stealing is not OK. 

I use and see a lot of poses almost everyday, I reblog and maintain the poses masterlist (@ts4-poses), I am a sims-storyteller that loves to pose with poses from other creators for my story and ofcourse, make my own poses to share. But also...

I recognize my flaws in my own poses, my poses are not perfect, I learn everyday, that's why I knew this pose was mine. But by now, we have found 15 posecreators that have been done the same to, by Simsulani. And maybe you have seen in Toys of Dukeness their patreon post there is possibly another pose creator KD89 doing the same to them. What led to them deleting all of their content in our community. And seeing something leave the community over this, is sad. We lost already so many talented creators due to this.  

You have to know, Simsulani @hellosimsulani has around 20k followers on her patreon and about 200 people that support her by paying money to her. No, I'm not jealous, I share my poses because I want you to use my poses in-game. I'm not here in any way to have any financial gain. And I know this is the case of many others on the list down here that were affected. We want to make you happy, to be able to tell your story. 

But this money (maybe even your money) that she is earning over other people's creations that she adjusts, is not earned in a fair way. 

She violates many of the other posecreators TOU's. 

Besides taking poses and adjusting them, she adds accessories to the patreon post instead of linking to people's pages. (@simmisstrait her letterboard in this post) That's okay if it’s deleted, but doing so when this creator is still active? That’s not ok (only if it's okay stated in their TOU)

In her own TOU she even states that you can't take her poses and re-upload somewhere else. But clearly it's okay to do it if she does it?

After finding out about Toys of Dukeness and Acha-games, I found out my own pose got stolen and adjusted, and after that I got a lot of messages and pictures. People started helping investigate their own poses. These are the things we found. Thanks to @theserenadeofshadows her detective skills and her super SUPER hard and dedicated work this weekend (she is one of these 15), she made this amazing doc with the proof she and others found. At least a few posepacks are not her poses entirely. If we had more photographic memory skills and time, who knows what we could find out more. 

THE PROOF DOC 

NOTE: IT'S HEAVY UNDER INVESTIGATION STILL, but we wanted to show the proof we already have found! See and judge for yourself.

If you are a pose creator, please check if maybe one of your own poses got stolen, though she is very good at camouflaging it. It is incredibly hard to notice the stolen poses at first glance, it is a real frankenpose fiasco. @theserenadeofshadows tried to dissect the poses and find the original creators, and we found this stated in the doc, but know it is a slow and tedious process, so we can't find every pose and or posepack.

Groups and couples got split up and merged. Places in groups got swapped and/or rotated. Normal couples or single poses suddenly got a kid or partner (or both). Some expressions were made clownesque, exaggerated or the eyes closed. To make it even harder, she added accessories or removed them. She changed the body anatomy (resulting in broken poses sometimes) to make it appear different.

You can spot some weird clipping or gaps in the previews sometimes. 

We are not out to cancel someone, we stand for creativity and hope Simsulani will think about her actions and start making her own poses from scratch. Not stealing someone else's time because you need to create for your patrons. I know myself Patreon gives you a certain pressure to create for the people who pay for you, because you don't want to let them down. 

But doing this by stealing and putting it behind early access to earn a quick buck because you have no time or are too busy? 

Not OK. In no way.

I really like how you stick to Dion's character and when you expand on it then it seems like something he would do. In your Psynautica Au Dion leaves to support his family. Yes he leaves but it's FOR them. So my question is this, do you think in an all cannon he would have been the one to run away to camp instead of Raz (if Dion was psychic) in order to become a Psychonaut so that he could make money for his family that way?

Or do you think he just does side jobs in the nearest town the circus is in and supports his family that way?

There's actually a few major differences between Psynautica and Canon Dion! Because as I said, I don't think canon Dion could run away without drastically changing the circumstances and his motivations—and though the Psynautica Aquatos are still performers, there's a lot that's different: Augustus and Lucrecia's memories were never manipulated, for one, and there is no water curse. Just Augustus not wanting to see anymore of his family lost to space travel.

Additionally, in Psynautica, Raz already ran off to go see his heroes, giving Dion the idea. I've changed it so that Raz didn't run away with the intention of getting a job, the receptionist just mistook him for an intern and Raz got pulled into hijinks—but the basic takeaway is that Raz reached out, made connections, and ultimately helped the family.

So Naut Dion decides that if Raz can pull something like that off, then he can too. And this Dion, while still fundamentally Dion, has just enough teenage rebellion in him to tango with space travel, to look beyond the skies. Because while canon Dion has plenty of evidence of the curse, naut Dion doesn't. All naut Dion has is Augustus' and Lucrecia's stories about the Valermo Incident—he doesn't have a watery hand dragging his siblings down. So it's easier for him to disregard his father's warnings than it is for his canon counterpart, though he certainly has plenty of fear in the back of his mind when he gets his first posting!

He's still Dion, of course. He still does it to serve the family's interests just as much as he's serving his own, still worries if he made the right decision and deals with homesickness constantly. He's still an idiot with too much to prove—he's just gone and jumped straight into the deep end himself, rather than having his little brother spur on events to turn his whole world upside down.

As for the second part of your question, no. If canon Dion were psychic, he would simply ignore that part about himself. Repress it so hard he doesn't even realize it's there. And canon Dion definitely puts a lot more focus into performing, so I don't think he would really pursue a job outside of that.

✧ hi everybody!! so i've been wanting to tackle making accessories for a while and lately i've been obsessed with occult sims, so here's this cute little set of 1 pair of unique demon/alien/whatever ears (NOT a preset, this is an accessory!) and a matching set of earrings (which i have a file that works with EA ears). please note that due to how EA ears work (not having an ear bone), they do NOT deform with sliders! you'll have to make the piercings fit your sim unfortunately!

✧ in addition, i have make some "no ear" presets that shrink the pre-existing EA ears down so you can use the ears on top of them! as some of you know, the brilliant person who made morphmaker along with many other resources passed away last year and as such, most of their projects are not maintained. because of this, i couldn't make a "no ear" preset for toddlers as EA changed their toddler UV maps and it's just impossible to use. even a sims 4 studio batch fix didn't help, but luckily if you shrink the ears down a lot, they're hidden!

Alright guys, I'm here today to address the pictures of the alleged 'new merch' that had been circling around in the English fandom for a few days. See how I said 'English fandom'? Because nobody really addressed it on weibo and XHS yet… at least not to that extent. So what happened? A few days ago a random shop on taobao created new listings that offered a new series of badges and prints/acrylics - not just featuring the 4 main boys, but also He Cheng, Qiu, She Li and… Cun Tou…..?! Now let's take a moment and sit back and think about this for a while. First of all: Why would a random shop that's NOT affiliated with mosspaca in any way post new 'official' merchandise? (Because we can see there's the mosspaca copyright writing on the badges and acrylics, just like it used to be on the previous badge series) Why would this random shop post these things while neither OldXian herself nor her boss, moss, have posted or announced anything via weibo/XHS? Don't you think this is sort of fishy? You don't find this strange, you don't question that at all? Sure, some people said: It's leaked and it will be available on the upcoming signing event on the 29th which OX announced on her weibo. Sure. There is a possibility, of course. They could have a leak in mosspaca studio and some person got their hands on some undisclosed merch and decided to make bank by making a new shop and listing the items for pre-order, hoping they could cash in. NOT a smart choice if you wanna keep your job because such incidents get investigated thoroughly and we all know by now that moss himself is very strict about these things and already has taken legal action against shops before when they sell fake merch as official merch. The other possibility? Old Xian's apple account has been hacked by an outsider and then the same scenario as before applies - that person wanted to cash in before it officially releases.

Now. How has OX handled merchandise before? It was always announced before an event and sometimes even months(!) in advance when they were pre-order items. Also. Have you ever seen Old Xian making merch for Cheng, Qiu, She Li and Buzzcut? Sure, the first 3 have been on some old postcards way back in the day, plus they are depicted in some of the artbooks, okay. But actual merch with them separately? The last badge series had a very limited special edition button with He Cheng. That was super rare. And now OX suddenly makes merch of the 2 adults, plus She Li AND Buzzcut, who's a minor character which barely makes an appearance? (Sorry, Buzzcut fans, not trying to be mean, just wanting to drive home the point that OX creating merch of him is highly unlikely - unfortunately.)

So what can we take home from all the stuff I just pointed out? Yep, there is a high chance that this is not official. It might be fake merch, sold by a random person who used generative AI tools and editing skills to create these things. I mean, sure, some of the pictures look highly convincing, I give you that. But then again, there are fanartists out there who can perfectly mimic Old Xian's style and edit/draw the boys in new poses that make it seem 'real' and official. But then there's THIS. Please take a close look at the way the faces are 'drawn', the way that the eyes are sort of smudged, same as some of the abs, the way Mo's face is contorted in a weird angle, the way the hands look chunky and unreal, and so on. Weird, right? Well, it's a very common, typical thing for pictures that are generated with free AI tools. Everyone who has tried one or the other and has fcked around with one of those tools out of curiosity will notice.

Also - have you noticed the sheer AMOUNT of things posted from this one random seller? 10 different badges, 12 different long bookmarks (acrylic boards?), 4 couple cards, plus a LOT of other random new things which all feature very old panels from the manhua… When has Old Xian ever released SO MUCH merch at once? Yep. Never. Plus the re-using of old pictures for new merch? Also doesn't make much sense. And there's a lot of the older illustrations being used for these supposed new things here.

So if you take all of this into account, you might conclude that someone is tryna pull your leg here, selling fake merch disguised as official by even slapping the logo onto it to make it more convincing and mimicking how it looked the last time around. Of course - there might be the odd chance that mosspaca suddenly took a 180° turn and completely changed their modus operandi and decided to do things completely different compared to before and that it was leaked after all and meant as a surprise for the new autograph event etc etc etc. Yep. There's a chance that all this is true after all. But there's also a chance that I step out of my house tomorrow and an airplane crashes onto my head. Of course, that chance is *extremely* small. But the chance is there… So there you have it. All I'm asking you here, is to take a moment to think it through logically when you see these things online. And that you don't instantly believe everything that other people post who are always so eager to spread false information just for the sake of stirring up the fandom without ever taking the time to verify their sources. (No, I'm NOT taking a jab at anyone here who posted/reposted these pictures and was confused and/or asked about it. I was just as puzzled as you guys. But I am criticizing those who post it and announce that it's definitely new, official merchandise…) In conclusion: Might be true, but chances are very slim, all things considered. Let's wait until Tuesday when the event takes place and keep an eye on weibo and XHS - let's see which pictures the CN fandom will post when showing their autographs. Then you can check if there's new merch present. If not - well, then it's pretty safe to say that this was definitely fake. (And if this turns out to be real after all, I will make a follow-up post, regarding the AI-looking faces. But you might not like that 'lore' so I will not mention it for now, to prevent possible drama.)
