LMAOOOO i'm not super creative!! they get adapted from by others... like nikooj (or enlightenmeat which was still a friend's idea and not mine). so the uramichi x niku name (as adapted by others is) uraniku/uranikoo but if i wanted to go in the same vein as enlightenmeat... UNFORTUNATELY THE FIRST THOUGHT IS ACTUALLY 'ROADKILL' OF ALL THINGS. T_T let me workshop it a little longer.

i think that i've never really actually super thought of it it because i think i was thinking of doing an ocship (with my baby girl princess kira no less) more than selfshipping. the lore there is actually really hilarious imo. mostly because kira's brothers are the type of hilarious people that uramichi would hate dealing with.

this is actually super hard because like. it's extremely hard to think of HOW we'd meet. i don't wanna do overlap so i don't want it to be like how i meet gojo or deku in their respective selfships. and I DON'T WANNA DO NEIGHBORS SINCE U KNOW I HAD A NEIGHBOR AU FIC I WANTED TO WRITE.

anyway, after some brainstorming on discord with some pals, uramichi and i would be introduced to each other by some friends we have in common, or rather, i have plucked my beloved moda and their beloved momo (from idolish7 which has now be canonized in uramichi world lmao) and they decide to set us up. kind of. maybe. they both invite us to go to yakiniku on a covert double date (actually moda has invited me to go with them and momo before but i have refused on account of not wanting to be a third wheel).

both uramichi and i separately clock that we're essentially being set up on a blind date immediately when both moda and momo suggest it to us but both decide to still go for our own reasons (me because moda tells me that momo has offered to pay for everyone and uramichi 1) to prove to usahara he does indeed have friends and 2) he's ultimately incapable of telling anyone who isn't usahara no).

i think that first double date is kind of... awkward. i'm honestly not particularly outgoing and neither is he and momo and moda do a lot of heavy lifting at the beginning...... i think the conversation 'takes off' (as much as it can take off for two socially awkward introverts) once we get into talking about hobbies. and moda and momo kind of watch us in amusement lmao.

it would probably be a very slow start, with a lot of nudging from momo and moda who thought things went very well. we probably run into one another randomly at some point and have go out to eat or hang out or something. maybe drinking. well. he drinks and while i don't really drink, maybe i have one or two since i'm a social drinker LMAO. i think the dynamic is kind of sickly sweet and wholesome ahahaha. uramichi doesn't really activate the tsun in me, but i think once we become closer he teases me a little as a treat. LMAO.

i think i'm generally fairly good at navigating personal landmines so i don't think i'd step on one of his but the lore need some drama so i probably do at some point...

IDK WHO CATCHES FEELINGS FIRST. i think we probably have an idiots in love sort of thing in which we don't think the other is interested (usahara and kumatani are trying to convince uramichi otherwise but failing). it might be a case of he catches them first but i realize first. he's probably pretty deep in denial. some jealousy aspect needs to get involved tho. idk how yet, i need to cook on that more, but i need jealous uramichi. i think he'd be like an angry sulky cat. no i need him to get so jealous he drags me away all dramatic ASK ME THIS AGAIN LATER I NEED TO REALLY COOK ON IT.

I’m so sorry, Anon. The Pokémon Scarlet Brainrot made me not check tumblr in a hot minute. Anyways, you wish to hear more about Polyevil. Enjoy a little mix of fun facts about the ship as well as hcs!!

The ship first started out as me shipping Carlos and Leon together. After RE3R came out and Carlos got changed up for the better, I shipped them together because they seem like they’d have amazing interactions. Luis was added to the ship after the RE4R because like Carlos, he got changed up for the better. Chris was added last after a joke my bf made in a VC, and that’s how the ship is going currently.

Currently, as it goes in my own hcs since Carlos hasn’t been mentioned since RE3, and Luis is dead, Carlos works at the BSAA, and Luis is a biology professor at some university. Originally, I did play with the idea of Luis working for the BSAA as Rebecca’s assistant, but I went against the idea since I don’t think Luis would want to be in a lab after what he’s done twice.

I have AUs I’m working on where the four of them are together, one of which is involves a lot of tension because Carlos and Luis’s history together. Ik they likely never met in Umbrella, but I love the idea that they did and had a romance going on before Luis ran off.

Silly little hc I have is everyone but Chris has long hair. I like to think Leon puts his in a manbun, Luis puts his in a manbun or a ponytail but very rarely as it’s only when he’s focusing, and Carlos doesn’t put his hair up at all unless he’s training or out in the field.

Another hc I have (because of my own hyperfixation) is their favorite Pokémon. Leon’s is Lucario (because I can’t explain it, he gives me Lucario fan vibes), Luis’s is Espeon (purely because of the “psychic powers” line in the OG RE4), Chris’s is Onix (because he only really knows the 151 Pokémon, and he always really liked Onix), and Carlos’s is Torterra (because I hc he loves turtles and having starter that is one made him very happy).

Kind of related to the last one and more silly, I hc Luis has a completed national living form dex in every game he’s played. As for event Pokémon (like mythicals, Pokéball Vivillon, Walking Wake, etc.), he has those too if he can get his hands on them. Leon helped him out with them since he plays the games while Carlos and Chris think that’s too much for a game.

Despite me saying I’d attempt to find a better shipname for this ship, I’ve given up. Polyevil will be what I’ll be calling it from now on.

Idk if I ever talked about it, but I have ranked how well I think they’d all cook. Luis is the best, Carlos is a close second, and Chris is last but not because he’s terrible at it. Why is Leon not ranked, you may ask? I hc he can’t cook, so he can’t be ranked.

Kind of a follow up, it’s a running joke between me and my bf that Leon has an addiction to Taco Bell, which disgusts Luis and Chris (Carlos doesn’t care). This is mainly because of my bf’s “you can take the alcohol out of alcoholic, but you can’t take the alcoholic out of the Taco Bell” joke.

Last fun fact, my bf REFUSES to let Ethan join Polyevil. I don’t remember who, but someone wanted him to be added, and my bf straight up told me no. It’s okay, guys, Ethan has his three wives (Chris included), he’ll be fine since he’s in own polycule.

Obviously there was still a lot of things to work through. Lucius seemed to be the most forgiving one of Stede's original crew, but that was probably due to him being able to scare Ed shitless a few times by pretending to be a ghost. The others didn't have that priviledge and were still reluctant to even consider Ed as a crewmember, much less a co-captain.

„Well first off, there was an island like, ten minutes away. If you hadn't told him about your literal dozens of fucking secret rooms and passages he still could've just swam to safety. One more thing, Sjm told her friend (and she told us on the live) that a novella that might come between book 4 and 5 would be domestic stuff like ACOSF. I live for it, and it’s a way that Nesta’s story would keep going and we would be able to see how the Valkyries develop into a real force to be reckoned with! VALKYRIANS PLS.

I think Gwyn could be a main POV, just because we get books all the time where we don’t know the MC at all, but they carry the whole book. It would be sjm’s job to make her feel like a real person to us, and tbh I think Gwyn already does feel real and complete. It was pretty easy for me to write her because I already have a sense of how she would react to different situations. However, I don’t think she’ll be a “main” main. My guess is that she and Az are the mains in the next book, but that Az will be the primary POV. Similar to acosf, where Nesta was the focus and Cassian popped in with his POV from time to time.

I like the idea of the novella being fluffy! I don’t need plot!!!! She said in the podcast that nothing happened in acofas and yes, true, and I did NOT care. Give me all the fluff. Show them being happy. Please let Mor bring Emerie home and Cassian slap her on the back saying he wondered when she’d introduce her girlfriend to everyone. Absolute favorite ship: This one’s kinda hard but I’m gonna have to go with Obi Wan/Anakin! I also like them a lot as a trio with Padmé, but overall I gotta say these two are just my faves? Why? Because they are such a M E S S and gosh I just love them so much. Ppl say they don’t like each other very much but come on, have you watched the TCW, have you watched RotS, they’re the greatest team there ever was, they’re constantly fretting and worrying about each other, they’re always teasing (the constant banter omg boys pls) at each other and hyping the other up and believing in each other and Ahsoka literally calls them her adoptive guardians in the Ahsoka novel, that’s how much of a family they were and ugh they’re just so married. And they’re such a TRAGEDY and it breaks my heart and it’s delicious to watch because in the final fight it’s just heartbreaking betrayal because through it all they love each other so much and that’s WHY they’re so furious with each other because to them it feels like the ultimate betrayal. Even after (when after everything, Obi Wan still loved Anakin too much to kill him himself) they’re constantly on the other’s mind, and ugh the pain hurts but in such a good way, and how in the end Anakin did the right thing and Obi Wan was RIGHT THERE to help guide him back to the light in spirit and now they can rest happily together for eternity (with some spare stressing about, ya know, Kylo Ren and the impending return of Sidious, but never mind all that). and on top of that, it’s my fave because I also absolutely love their relationship platonically as well, as much as I LIKE to see them together, it’s not necessary for me because they have such an enjoyable dynamic. *coughs* Sorry, so yea, they’re my disaster faves! 😅

A ship I like that most people don’t: See above lol. I get aspects of the Obikin ship can be problematic in the whole power dynamic and age difference thing, but I’ve only ever shipped it after Anakin was knighted as an adult when there’s literally not a problem with it (it was weird for me because I watched the prequels totally out of order. I actually saw the TCW cartoon FIRST and then I saw RotS and then I didn’t watch the first two for a while after that because I was a fool and listened to prequel bashers who said the first two weren’t good, so when I started shipping them as adults that was all I saw them as). To be honest, for the most part the PT fandom is done with the drama since ya know, like a good half of the SW general fandom still hates us, so no one’s really vocal about not liking it and our shipping community is mostly left to ourselves, but every once in a while I’ll come across a joke post/fanart of the two and OP will be all snarky in the notes like “tag as a ship and I’ll come after you with my spiked bat” (someone’s exact words btw) and it’s like ok jeez, do not interact then, was minding my own business dude...

My most underrated ship: Hmmmm....... Gonna have to go between Luke/Ezra and Satine/Padmé. Skybridger I understand since they’ve literally never met in canon, but come ON, they’d get along like a house on fire and argh they should have met, it would be great. I honestly don’t get why Pads and Satine aren’t more of a thing (THEY DON’T EVEN HAVE AN OFFICIAL SHIPNAME ;_; ) cuz c’mon they’re the subtler explosive yin to Obi and Ani’s wildfire yang. They get along great and work together really well, and they both seem to have a type. I am doing them a little better in my new OT4 fic, and I hope ppl like it!!! Rate them from 1-10: 10, plus a hundred more points because I love them, then subtract that hundred again cuz Anakin is an gotdang idiot who ruined it and now they both make me cry. My scoring reasons are that they make me feel all the emotions and I love them Ever So Much and argh.

Fave headcanon: Oh boy, I’ve got a couple actually!

Whenever they’re talking/arguing over the phone, they’re always subconsciously mirroring each other’s actions even when they can’t see what the other is doing. It’s kinda creepy because you’ll hear yelling and it’ll look like one of them’s talking to an invisible person in front of them when it’s actually each other.

There has been multiple instances of them both getting injured in battle because they were distracted watching the other be a total badass (not that either will admit it)

Neither of them are morning people. AT ALL. Obi Wan actually has self-discipline and is able to get up with an alarm and crankily drag them both up, but both are almost impossible to deal with until they’ve had caffeine in them, and it’s been established that unless you want to risk murder, neither of them talks in the morning until caffeine has been provided.

There has been many, many cases of accidentally taking the other’s robe and not realizing it but thinking to themselves that said robe feels more comforting than usual today.

A mutually drunken arm wrestling match absolutely turned into a mutually drunken makeout once. Neither can remember it, and they wonder why some of the clones have been acting funny all week.

Fave Canon Moment: Ughhh, this is HARD. I really like the “any closer and you’d be kissing it” line in TCW, basically any moment in TCW when one of them refers to Ahsoka as “OUR padawan”, the extra long stares and unnecessary touches they give each other in TCW, the elevator scene in RotS movie (THE NOVEL MAKES IT A MILLION TIMES BETTER), also in RotS the way Anakin is half-ready to straight up fight Palpatine when he suggests leaving Obi Wan behind to die, the RotS “No loose wire jokes” bit, the RotS “Roger. Roger.” bit (OKAY JUST THE WHOLE FIRST HALF OF THIS RIDICULOUS MOVIE), the way Vader built his big stupid castle where they had their breakup, the way he’s constantly mentioning Obi Wan when the convo wasn’t even about him, seeing them together again at the end of RotJ (whoops you asked for one, you get MANY SCENES)

Fave AU ideas: Again, there’s a couple!

Superpower AU: Can’t decide whether I’d put this in canon or modern. Most powers in this AU are stolen from inspired by X-Men, DC, and other popular media, so I’m torn between Anakin having Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix style powers while Obi Wan had a variation on Rogue’s with additional energy manipulation. OR it would be a thing where Anakin could commune with the dead a la Klaus from Umbrella Academy while Obes had sort of Avatar-style wind/flight powers. (Both are relevant for different plots).

Sith AU: I know these are far from unpopular in the SW fandom, but the way I’d do it would be to try and write two stories at once, update one every other week so one update a week total. The stories would what would happen if either of them became the Sith Apprentice after the events of Episode 1, and how their dynamic would be during Ep 2 and The Clone Wars with one of them on the other side. It’s funny because the way I’ve plotted it, the Sith!Ani fic would have very big Good Omens vibes, while the Sith!Obi one would have very strong Under the Red Hood vibes, so two VERY different dynamics going on xD

WWII Spies: This is one I 100% plan to write someday, even tho it is a very long time from now. It’s basically following Anakin as an American naval pilot who got injured in a crash and discharged. He still wants to serve and eventually his talent gets him into the intelligence end of the war and sent to Europe where he meets Ben, who’s been working with British intelligence since it broke out, and sparks fly. I’m kind of cheating here cuz as of now this is an Obianidala story, not just Obikin, but it’s one I’m very excited for

Phantom of the Opera AU: This idea I had when I realized that Anakin as Vader is kinda a Lot like the Phantom, but he’s also a Lot like Christine too. So it turned into Anakin as a talented ballet dancer getting preyed on by Palpatine!Phantom (there is NO romance there, Palpy is a total creep and will be treated as such) with Obi Wan as a combination of Raoul and Madame Gery and I have a bunch of ideas and idk if it’s gonna be an actual thing, but I want it to.

Not A Jedi!AU: One in canon in which set like the Sith!AU, two different stories exploring how their dynamic would be if one of them wasn’t found by the Order. As of now, I’ve got Anakin as the warrior pirate prince of Tatooine, after having grown up and staged a slave rebellion, then promptly put his mother on the throne, and Obi Wan’s there to negotiate something during TCW and things happen. For the Obi Wan one, he’s a political journalist and war correspondent who keeps on running into Anakin’s assignments and popping up where he’s stationed and Anakin has to keep this idiot from getting himself killed/stop asking me annoying questions that criticize the Jedi and the government.

Dark!AU: A kind of morbid canon divergent fic where Padmé dies early and unexpectedly (Palps didn’t plan it). Anakin goes off the rails and Obi Wan agrees to go with him on a murder vengeance roadtrip to try and keep him from Falling or the Sith from getting to him. He kinda fails and they both Fall in a way and it ends with them hunting down Sidious’ players one by one. I’m not entirely sure I want to continue with this tho because it plays strongly on the Fridged Woman trope, which I can’t stand. I’d have to figure out how to give Padmé some sort of active role after her death...

It’s ok: I’m not even trying to pretend I don’t have ship bias in everything Nanachiro has a nice starting point with Ichiro’s senpai worship and how fond Nanao obviously is of Ichiro and idk why it doesn’t do the trick for me, but it just doesn’t;; It’s ok but not my jam. And Kyoryo is definitely more of a brotp for me but they stand on a solid(-ish, pls let Kyoutarou do something sometimes too) ground and I got nothing against it.

Dislike: I just can’t ship anyone with the princes i’m sorry;; Mostly because they’re in their animal forms most of the time and it just feels a bit icky to me. I also somehow imagine them as being somewhere in their mid-twenties for no tangible reason at all so that’s another one. Still not bad enough to count as active hate or notp though, I can manage.

M'gann never knew it could feel so liberating to fly. It’s been so long since she’s been able to shift out of her human form to a skin she feels most comfortable in and just be free.

What makes it even better is that she isn’t alone.

Even as the wind whips across her face and jet streams across her body, M'gann can feel the warm, welcoming presence of Kara in her midst.

Despite turning off the comms from the DEO, M'gann can still hear the mindless chatter of Kara’s thoughts. She’d been thinking so long of the uncertainty of her time on Earth and the fear of being taken back to Mars to stand before her race again that hearing Kara’s inner turmoil reminds of her what it’s like to be living.

I can feel you up in here, Kara thinks as she slows to fly beside M'gann.

M'gann’s eyes widen in surprise. Sorry. I didn’t mean to intrude.

It’s okay. I’m so used to flying alone that I let my mind just wander. Kara smiles as the wind pushes her beautiful waves behind her. Even in the evening sky, Kara’s eyes are still sky blue.

Do you fly often?

Kara nods. Yup, every night. Some night I fly for hours just to clear my head. When you’re this far from the city, the constant chatter becomes almost like whispers.

It must be very taxing for you to hear the whole city constantly.

Kara turns onto her back like she’s swimming through the air to respond to M'gann. She looks so beautiful relaxed. Jeremiah helped me work through the chatter and the sight with my glasses and sound dampening earrings. It took a lot of time, but now it’s just a constant humming in my head and it feels kind of empty without it in the background.

M'gann understands.

I feel like it must be harder for you because you hear everyone’s thoughts. People can stop talking but they can’t stop themselves from thinking. Kara goes on.

M'gann shakes her head, briefly thinking back to Mars. On Mars, our minds are open to everyone. Every thought can be heard across all of our race so that we can better understand each other as one.

Kara purses her lips, briefly thinking before she snaps her fingers. J’onn mentioned the mind meld! It must be really cool to be on the same page constantly.

M'gann doesn’t respond. It wasn’t particularly cool but she could understand how Kara would see it as such.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” Kara blurts out loud instead of thinking it. “That was really insensitive to me.”

M'gann can only laugh at how alarmed Kara looks. “It’s okay, Kara. I suppose it can be cool,” M'gann agrees, knowing that she’s left her world behind but before the war, there is beauty of peace she can remember.

Kara purses her lips, feeling like her apology wasn’t enough. M'gann can hear the gears turning. “Come on, I want to show you something,” she declares as she turns back over and flies forward with an arm outstretched in front of her.

M'gann smiles to herself as she follows after Kara towards the mountains. They do some turns and loops before they reach a particularly high point. Kara settles on a landing that looks like it’s been carved out with no other roads leading up to it. Kara must go there often enough because M'gann can see vague scorch marks at the edges of the carved outlook.

When M'gann lands after Kara, shifting into her human skin. She stands beside the taller woman to see National City in the distance. Even as the day turns into night, the city looks just as alive.

“Sometimes, I feel like if I wasn’t Supergirl, I wouldn’t know who I would be,” Kara begins softly as she looks out towards the city, eyes twinkling. “I was sent to this planet with the sole purpose to take care of Kal El and when I discovered that he’d already grown up, I just felt like there wasn’t a point to me being here. I didn’t know where I fit in anymore and the fact that I can’t go back home to Krypton---”

M'gann slips her hand into Kara’s to bring some comfort to her.

Kara looks at her, wiping away the errant tear that she hadn’t realize as falling. “Sorry,” she apologizes, shaking her head. “I didn’t bring you here to listen my sob story.”

“It’s okay, Kara. I understand how it feels to be forced to leave home without any hope of returning,” M'gann offers with a squeeze of her hand.

Kara nods in agreement, squeezing M'gann’s hand in return, because it truly feels like M'gann understands her. She looks back towards the city once more. “This is my home now,” she confesses. “My mother told me I’d have extraordinary powers on this Earth and there’d be extraordinary things I could do with them. I found my purpose again when I became Supergirl. I could help the people of National City just like Superman in Metropolis.”

M'gann looks back towards the city. Some of the buildings start to dim and some have just a few lights on. When she looks back at Kara, she can see her blue eyes twinkling with pride and hope. She feels her chest tighten. “You come here to remind yourself of your purpose, don’t you?”

Kara quirks her head at M'gann. “Are you up in my head again?”

“I can be quite observant. Perks of being a bartender.”

Kara smiles playfully at her. “I do,” she answers. “Seeing all of National City like this, with all of the lights, turning off and on, reminds me that there are people out there who need protecting. That I have these abilities to help people. If I can be the one to do some good, then why won’t I?”

M'gann hums. “If not now, then when?”

“And if not me, then who?” Kara finishes, smiling brighter than ever.

M'gann stares back out to National City once more. She takes a deep breath of the fresh air outside of the city and another look at the vision before her. She’s seen National City at a distance plenty of times, but now it feels wholly different. Maybe it’s the growing connection she’s finally beginning to feel because of Kara.

“Thank you for bringing me here,” M'gann says softly bumping her shoulder with Kara’s. “It really is beautiful.”

Kara smiles brightly once more, eyes crinkling with pure happiness. Their stare lingers just a bit long for M'gann to catch Kara’s fleeting thought that has her blushing. “Race you back to base?” she offers abruptly. She lets go of M'gann’s hand before stepping towards the edge of the outlook. “Loser has to buy a round of drinks?”

M'gann laughs as Kara drops off the edge and speeds off. “Cheater!” she yells as she chases after Kara, changing back into her Green Martian skin.

It’s not cheating if I’m faster! Kara thinks loudly for M'gann to hear.

M'gann jets faster towards Kara, not wanting her to get away so quickly. It only takes a few moments before M'gann catches up, but it feels exhausting especially when Kara is faster than a speeding bullet. She flies just below Kara and like Kara had been doing earlier, M'gann turns on her back and stares up at Kara.

Are you showing off? Kara asks breaking the determined look on her face.

You were doing it earlier. M'gann responds as she floats up closer to Kara’s body. You didn’t let me thank you.

But you already did?

M'gann shakes her head. Kara, I can read your thoughts. Especially when you’re particularly emotional.

Kara blushes. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

M'gann closes the distances between them and lifts her head just enough to kiss Kara. Kara squeaks aloud before kissing back unconsciously. The rush of the wind sends shivers down both of their spines even though they don’t particularly feel cold. For a moment they stop flying and float upright together. M'gann’s hands coming around Kara’s shoulders as Kara holds onto her waist comfortably.

Wow. Kara thinks before breaking the kiss to exhale, “Wow.” Her cheeks are bright pink as their warm breaths meet each other in the cool sky.

M'gann smiles as she presses her forehead against Kara’s. “Loser buys drinks,” she reminds before pecking Kara on the nose.

Kara blinks before she realizes that M'gann is jetting off. “Cheater!” she yells as she chases after M'gann.
