I'm following in my friend @justsimplyspace's footsteps and doing a year long OC challenge! Over the course of the year I'll make 125 separate OC drawings! To do so I'll be employing the help of a randomizer and drawing whatever OC it gives me!

This first one is Arcus, one of the main protagonists of my future (HOPEFULLY) webcomic, The Digalad! He's the High Mage of the Dastota kingdom, who also happens to be a sphinx in disguise! I'd love to talk about him more but that's spoilers for the webcomic 👀

So this is the first time I'd ever drawn him. Eugh He's come such a long way honestly, plus his lore is entirely different from how he was when this old piece was drawn

The dark beast here is named Indominus and no longer exists! He was split into two separate characters way down the line, Deldemos and Keliir.

Considering Kieran probably was browsing smogen forums with how his champion team was built, I wouldn't be surprised if he was deep into shiny hunting too.

The only shiny I ever caught in PLA was that freebee ponyta so half of me wants to be salty and be like "Akari never finds shines" but it would be 100 times funnier if Akari just comes back with sketches and field notes like "I keep seeing weird colored pokemon I wonder if there's something in the water" and Rei would be ripping his hair out in rage because HOW.

Story: Interworld series - Book 5: The Save-the-World Club

The oldest of a group of four friends, all flora-people from the deep forest. He’s responsible and level headed with a decent balance of both book and real-world smarts and wisdom. Unfortunately this means he is often the poor soul left wrangling his three more impulsive friends.

He’s open and friendly, but a way to really get him chatting is to ask him about the book he’s reading for a calm yet eager explanation of it. This may take hours but you will learn so much. He can often be found curled up in a corner when his friends’ antics get too stressful for him to rein in.
