Riverdale ships as German desserts

I spent ages looking through several recipe books and finding the best pictures online so HERE WE GO. The order of ships and desserts has no rhyme or reason.

Seasonal, sweet, nourishing. What does that describe? Archosie, of course. But also the humble "Osterzopf", a braided sweet bread made for Easter.

Next, we have a ship that is sweet and tastes good but is simply fundamentally incompatible. They work together but they never quite mix, at the end of the day their different world mean they can never completely connect. Everyone give it up for Varchie as Marmorkuchen (marble cake)!

Green jello, specifically the German kind with Waldmeister flavour. I don't like it. Many people do. Its bright green pulls a lot of attention but also looks toxic. Choni.

Strongly tied to nostalgia and childhood, sweet but not my taste, I never really got the hype. Perfect description for both Barchie AND, coincidentally, the Benjamin Blümchen Torte.

The driest, most bland cake you will ever eat. Gugelhupf. Congrats, Bughead.

Baumkuchen (tree cake) is layered, labour intensive, also hugely divisive. What could this be but Hirarchie!

Sort of sour and bitter if you do it wrong but can also be really sweet. Veggie, you are Rote Grütze (red berry pudding)

It shouldn't work, but it does. Chocolate, cookies, time and that's it. There are layers, there is nostalgia since this is served nowhere but at kid's birthday parties. Jarchie.

i think there is a latent racism-meets-misogyny problem in some of the rvd fandom like. toni only gets ttalked about in relation to cheryl which yes is partially because the show treats toni like that post-s2 a lot but. still? tabitha i only see talked about in relation to jughead. i think legit no one talks about josie except for archosie. everyone forgot about valerie which ig the show did too. veronica gets flattened down to a girlboss with little character depth MUCH more than the other characters do. does anyone ever mention minerva like at all? i wont pretend like joan or melody are allowed to be characters, ignoring them is more than fair but. idk.
