you were wide awake in the middle of the night, too anxious to go back to sleep, yet too tired and exhausted to take a walk in the park behind the mansion to clear your head of any troubling thoughts, buzzing like a cluster of unruly bees in your clouded consciousness.

the image of badly wounded sirius painfully stuck in your tired mind: his black, shimmering hair, usually gracefully styled, now a distorted mess, pieces of his clothes sizzling away from magical burns and his body covered in sharp, deep cuts, scarlet blood and many bruises. a horrible realization suddenly strikes you: spica would actually end his life right then and there, if it weren't for alpheratz's messed up mana flow making him faint in the middle of a fight, practically saving the opposing sorcerer from any repercussions or death itself.

a conflicted mess of emotions, like an overflowing river, made you shiver, as you took a ring, a small gift from sirius from the better times back then, and twiddled with it, the bright stone reminiscent of his ever changing eyes, mysteriously shining in the moon light. you wondered how sirius faired in this trying times: was he alone in this plan, healing his injuries by himself, or were there other ones in on it, scheming behind the shsdows? you put in on your finger, cold metal unpleasanttly grounding you back in reality, yet making you feel nostalgic despite everything that happened.

you opened your stella tab and decided to see if another one of his burner magical tabs was on. since sirius was wanted by the law, it was almost an every day occurrence that he changed his number constantly, his old stella tab presumably broken, as to avoid any possible meanings of easy traction. he admitted jokingly that sending you pigeon letters would be a better, safer alternative, and you almost suggested doing just that, until he laughed out loud at your determined expression in response to a half hearted sarcastic one liner.

"hey, you up?" you learnt not to question sirius about whatever this oath of his was, because somewhere deep inside you knew that he would never give you a proper answer, until the right time comes around.

"you shouldn't be up this late, summoner. is something bothering you?" you smiled, though it was bitter sweet, and wanted to type out "yes, you" but restrained yourself, not wanting this conversation to become an another pointless interrogation.

"what's with the stone in the ring you've given me?"

"it doesn't suit your taste in jewelry?"

"no, it's not that! does it have any meaning behind it?"

"oh, so the summoner wants my gift to be special, huh? never took you as a sentimental person."

"stop teasing me, sirius! just answer the question, or I'm going back to sleep"

"sorry, sorry, my fault, I shall tease you no more. in fact, I'm glad you asked, since this particular stone, opal, does, in fact, have a special meaning. it's my birthstone, would you believe it? it usually represents hope and, well, good karma, though I don't think these qualities suit me very well, you, on the other hand... you're like a guiding light to me, summoner, and i hope you will shine blidingly for me until the very end"

Let's be real, your personalities are gonna clash at first. You're the most reserved and cautious person within a five kilometer radius of yourself and Jin is arrogant and commanding as hell. His bluntness and brashness would challenge your methodical way of interacting

Though that's not to say he doesn't appreciate you for it. He'll grow to respect your structured way of going about life, and you could grow to appreciate his unfiltered honesty

Through your time together, you'll come to realize that you have a lot more in common than you realize. You both carry burdens and traumas that you'll need help to express.

Either you'll talk about it on your own first, or Tohma would be a middleman for the two of you.

Your own feelings of displacement and loneliness would resonate with Jin’s own struggles with his family and responsibilities. You'd find solace in knowing you have each other's backs in this regard.

And let's not forget how protective the two of you are. Jin’s natural tendency to protect those he cares about would mesh well with your own nurturing and considerate side. Jin might be vocal and assertive in his protectiveness, while you would demonstrate it through subtle, thoughtful actions. In the case of any tangible danger, or in the case where either of your mental health threatens to overwhelm you, trust that you will be there for each other. In this scenario, you'll have to make the first move. Even if you are similar to each other in that your both emotionally inexpressive and cautious when opening up to others, though for different reasons. You'll need some time together to really get to appreciate each other's quirks but it would also lay the groundwork for a strong, trust-based connection as they gradually lower your walls.

Alan's stoic determination, inner strength, and unshakable loyalty is what drew you to him in the first place,

Alan would respect your meticulous nature, work ethic, and sense of responsibility

You would see each other as equals, sharing an unspoken understanding of the burdens you carry.

Neither of you are likely to be overtly expressive, so you'd show affection in subtle, meaningful actions—Alan might silently protect you in dangerous situations, while you would offer thoughtful care, like ensuring Alan is well-rested or patched up after a fight. And in the case Alan is in physical danger, you'd step in to protect him as well.

Artw Season 2 AU Concepts

(Arcana Twilight belongs to StoryTaco)

These are some of my ideas for an Artw Season 2 AU. Some of it may differ from the original story for the individual characters and plot points using what I know about the current in-game lore and theories on what could be. Please leave any suggestions or ideas in the comments or DM me. 

MC Summoners (3)

Three Characters will represent the Summoner in the story and have their own alternate stories that will include Diaries related to the Main 3 of the Artw Cast chosen for that Summoner. I want to write for three different Summoners to give the reader a more personal pov if they, hopefully, relate to the character they share the same gender as, or otherwise. No one necessarily will need or have to read one over the other because of their gender, I just want to write it this way. None of the Summoners will be confirmed as cisgender or trans in writing to make it more inclusive, any of them can be read by either or.

One Non-binary person [they/them] with [Spica, Pollux, Sirius] The Summoner, [Y/N], Clever & Anxious

Their Learned Protective Measure: Somehow manages to talk themself out of bad situations

The Little Polar Bear, Ursa Minor [Urmi] [it/its] is A funny lil stand-in for short funny little stories on the side or to narrate for kicks.

They’ll each focus on three of the Sorcerers respectively, so each gets some romance scenes. However, they each have a select three of the Sorcerers for romance scenes or anything generally romantic that doesn’t entirely exclude the rest. The others will have smaller roles in personal “Diary” stories and/or generally in the story.

Side Dynamics between the Artw Cast

Sirius casually flirts with Vega, no one can tell if he is teasing or flirting.

Alpheratz and Spica are bickering like the other married couple they may as well be as usual, especially around the Summoner as if they are competing. It’s like they are trying to make one another jealous rather than become closer to the Summoner sometimes…

Arcturus and Pollux are besties of course!! Always trying to include Vega… It doesn’t work.

Vega cold shoulders everyone except the Summoner- he’s about to take out his sword if Sirius gets any closer- oh no!

Scenarios After Floor 13, Entering Season 2 Floor 1 (1-1)

What happens after the Summoner is ushered to the rift…

Enby [Y/N] Chooses to stay despite the Artw Cast pushing them to leave, instead attempting to defend, heal, and assist them with Magic and Stratigizing.

Ideas/Possibilities:

Once they turn back to the Artw Cast the rift to MidEarthium closes, and Sirius is immediately pissed at them for their decision, his raised voice alerting the others to the Summoner.

None of them are particularly happy with the Summoner for this as they’d wanted the Summoner to safely return home rather than risk themself against the Monsters and Void Sorcerers aiming to kill the Summoner.

The Summoner couldn’t bring themself to leave the others behind nor did they want to return to MidEarthium because that world hold bad memories they run from.

This Summoner’s Story will be dark at times but eventually become more lighthearted as I’m aiming to give each of them a happy ending.

Man [Y/N] Frightened as ever, he exits through the rift only to quickly regret leaving the Artw Cast to fend for themselves against the monsters/void sorcerers. 

Ideas/Possibilities:

Since we are focusing on the story including the Artw cast we’ll have a time skip from this Summoner entering the rift to when he gets a chance to enter a new “rift” made by Alpheratz many years later.

This Summoner will return to Bound Arlyn with Alpheratz, neither seeming to have aged a day due to their constellation contracts extending their lives.

When they reunite, Alpheratz and the Summoner embrace, crying tears of joy after recognizing one another. Alpheratz, with the Summoner in his arms, falls back onto a grassy field only a few feet from the artificial “rift”. They later meet up with the rest of the Guide Committee, some looking worse for wear but alright in the end. 

This Summoner’s Story will be lighthearted after the initial prolog.

Woman [Y/N] Refuses to leave, instead attempting to assist them by defending and protecting the Artw Cast with their Pable skills and Defensive Magic.

Ideas/Possibilities:

Once they turn back to the Artw Cast the rift to MidEarthium closes, and Sirius is immediately pissed at her for making such a decision, his raised voice alerting the others to the Summoner.

None of them are particularly happy with the Summoner for this as they’d wanted the Summoner to safely return home rather than risk herself against the Monsters and Void Sorcerers aiming to kill the Summoner.

The Summoner swears she can help as she quickly moves to unsheath her Pable Sword and takes an offensive stance, preparing to face the Void Sorcerers/Monsters with the Guide Committee. The Artw Cast begrudgingly accept this because they don’t have much of a choice at this point, they instead work together to keep one another safe.

This Summoner’s Story will show her struggle and triumph over the Void Sorcerers with the Guide Committee.

My brain decided that this was more important than sleep. DW tho I slept eventually. LMAO

More Pokemon x Arcana Twilight because at least one person (me) wants it: (some ideas may contradict the first post)

-I see the region revolving around caves and fossils, since Jirachi's "egg" probably gets mistaken as an ordinary stone for a long time. Only being discovered by scientists in the progress of the game.

-The water starter pokemon would have a whale design, because Bound Arlyns flying whale is iconic, and that would be its final evolution.

-The fire starter would be a snake that has a ice-type end evolution. And the grass type would have a dark type end evolution. Only because I decided this.

-The reason MC gets a starter pokemon is because of following scenario: Pollux accidentally stepped on a Bergmite, which then proceeded to chase him. Vega came to his aid, but more Bergmite came. Since MC was nearby, he asked them to just take a ball from his bag and help out. He wanted to ask for the pokemon back, but saw that the pokemon felt comfortable with MC. (If the game would have a call function, he would routinely ask about how the starter is doing if you call him.)

-Alpheratz's grandfather is a professor. If given the chance, he will tell every trainer about how his favorite little boy grew up to be a gym leader and that they should give him his greetings. (And that Alpheratz should come to visit again soon).

-Sirius is the moral compass of the game, who questions the morality of battling and the goals of villains, but also questions why you wear a baseball cap instead of a dafety helmet. Also encourages you to try and ride your bike inside of caves.

-Arcturus grew up at the pokemon daycare and works there. He will spoil any pokemon handed in. Whether they are from MC or even pokemon from the antagonists. He knows of Jirachi from the tales he read growing up. He starts his journey relatively late, and only because he wants to stop Team Creation from abusing Jirachi. He has no intention of being a travelling trainer.

-Pollux keeps getting the worst pokemon. His starter keeps getting kidnapped. He bought an expensive egg from a "breeder" who promised it would hatch as Eevee. It was a Murkrow egg.

-The second town MC gets to already has the gyms of Alpheratz and Spica. Spica's gym is extravagant and complex, with a few paths to avoid the trainers helping him out. Alpheratz prefers it directly. With two trainers you have to battle before him. Both of them give MC fossils after beating them.

-Depending on the version, the trainer will encounter Spica (in Pokemon Wish) or Alpheratz (in Pokemon Destiny) throughout the game, and battle the antagonists by his side. Arcturus is the one exposing most information about Jirachi.

-Vega, please stop healing MC's pokemon whenever you meet. They have four hundred potions in their bag, let them use them.

-The elite 4 are made of the clan heads. Riegel, against his own design choices, has a fanclub watching him. He spends hours after battling giving out signatures.

A sliver of hope

Fandom: Arcana Twilight

Pairing: Vega x OC/Reader

Warnings: bad grammar and spelling, not proofread, OOC character, mild spoilers for Vega's backstory

Author's Note: Henloooo, this is my first time writing for this fandom, heck even writing on this platform in general. Anyways, I had Vega and my OC in mind while writing this. This is a snippet on how Vega and my OC gradually opens up so if some parts doesn't make sense I apologize for that heheh :>>

It was one of those nights, one where your thoughts wouldn't let you sleep.

You've been tossing and turning in bed for the past few minutes trying to get some shut eye, but you simply had too much stuff in your mind.

Ultimately, you decided to get out of bed and go for a quick walk. The night air is chilly, but soothing nonetheless. You found a place to sit then gazed up at the night sky. You've always found the skies of Bound Arlyn to be a sight to behold, especially at night.

Whilst you were busy stargazing, you failed to notice a figure watching, observing you. He didn't plan to follow you, in fact, he was about to rest after a tiring mission. Well, when it came to you, he can't help but worry. But why hide? he asks himself. Maybe he didn't want to get caught, or maybe he still finds it hard to face you. After all, it's been quite a while since he last saw you. The pain of that day, when faith decided to seperate the both you was still fresh. Adding the frustration he felt after knowing you remembered little to nothing of your childhood together (or so he thought) simply made it difficult for Vega to approach you. But seeing you restless and looking lost he can't help but worry, wondering what he can do to help.

While Vega was lost in his own thoughts, he heard you let out a particularly loud sigh. That's enough hiding, he told himself as he made his way towards you.

"...Summoner"

"GAHHHHH!! Oh, it's you."

In your defense, you weren't expecting to meet anyone this late in the evening, especially not Vega.

"What are you doing out here? You should be sleeping."

"Hmm I'm just simply stargazing, that's all." Opting not to say that you couldn't sleep.

"I see..."

An awkward silence followed, not that you mind, it was Vega after all. You've been wanting to speak to him but just couldn't. A lot has changed about him after all those years and you fear that the person you once knew may no longer be there.

"Y/N" he called, startling you from your thoughts. He was seated beside you now, though with a bit of distance.

"You can come to me if there is something bothering you" Ahh so he saw right through you.

"Oh don't worry about it, nothing I can't handle."

Another silence. You wanted to say something, anything, just to keep conversing with him but where would you begin? As you were caught in your little dilemma you heard him speak.

"I missed this."

"Oh?"

"... Y/N there's so much I want to tell you but... where do I even begin?"

Oh. Oh. So he feels the same way?

"Same here"

He looks at you.

"How about we start small? There's no need to rush. We could get to know each other again" you said.

Again... Vega repeats that word in his mind, Hoping that you remembered all those times you both had together.

"That would be nice" he responded

Another silence followed, but this time it's a comfortable one. Maybe, just maybe you could go back to being close friends again, but for now being able to talk with him again is enough.

Well, this scenario looked better in my head. It's probs all over the place but i'll just place this here.

I may or may not continue and elaborate more on this but this will do for now
