One of my headcanons for Reborn is that the Amaria fight is not hard bc of fighting her. But bc mc would have to do their best so their Pokemon dont kill her in retaliation.

Like, imagine you're the Pokemon. If you're the one that dived with them. Watching as your trainer and friend slowly suffocate due to this woman trapping you two inside an underwater room. With what I hc as walls resistant to Pokemon attacks.

Or being one of he Pokemon inside the pokeballs. Knowing that even if you are able to get out, you would just get in the way.

Like I'm just saying. In a reality in which the world is not limited to game constraints. Those Pokemon would be out for blood.

so edwin and internalized homophobia right? because it is just internal. he never really shows any issue with homosexuality except when it's towards himself. niko talks about her sexy yaoi manga with him, monty very openly and blatantly flirts with him and he never seems uncomfortable or even shocked or surprised with that. and his discomfort with the cat king's advances are more about his own reactions and feelings as opposed to what the cat king is doing.

so edwin doesn't have a problem with homosexuality. he has a problem with his homosexuality specifically. and i think this is why it was important that he fell in love with charles specifically. because that's what helps him break through the mental block that's upholding the inherent contradiction of his views.

and not in a "romance fixes everything kind of way" but in the sense that. okay. so edwin has always known he's gay. and he's been made to feel that there is something wrong with him for being gay, that him being gay is terrible enough that it's going to get him murdered. but he falls in love with charles. charles who he thinks the world of. and he has always loved charles but now his love has taken on a form that he has been taught is wrong but it's charles and he has to reconcile the idea that either the love he feels for charles is wrong or this fundamental belief that feeling that kind of love at all is wrong. because if he is in love with charles, then how can that be something bad? he has loved charles all this time and it has only ever brought him good things.

which is what makes it important. he didn't need to learn homosexuality isn't wrong. he apparently figured that out all on his own before canon. he needed to learn that his own love and desire is something beautiful and should be celebrated because his relationship with charles is something beautiful and worth celebrating no matter what form it takes.

LSTR-S2301 and the maintenance tunnel ARAR are best friends to me even though that Elster was only on sierpinski for a seemingly brief time, they’re bros who fuck around on the clock during work. I think Elster was probably more willing to put extra time in however she’s also very “okay you’ve given me a list of tasks I did them. They’re done and done well. That’s it, my time now.” Whereas I see Ara being more of a slacker (very valid of her) or at the very least just a bare minimum type of gal when it comes to work.

Idk I tend to imagine them fucking off in the middle of shifts to go find weird lonely corners of sierpinski to hang out in. They don’t even talk half the time but they love it.

How do you all think they fused together?

I think like it was during a mission and shit went wrong, like when everyone chose to become the ghost when they went after Graves.

I think like some shit went down and ghost while carrying Soap and (MAYBE) Gaz on his back as they ran for cover were hit with something which caused them to fuse together first.

And during this time when it was happening Price, Farha and Alex found them and lets just say they joined the hive mind.

My brain just loves the idea that while ghost is close to passing out as the fusing (which is horrible and painful leading to his blacking out state) recalls when they were having that meeting where its pretty much the main line that I wanna focus on:

"We do this together, we aren't ALONE" (or something like that I'm paraphrasing here.)

AND like he blacks out at the alone bit before slowly regaining his brain, or really THEIR brain, (they can't go by he/him or she/her pronouns not when they are literally multiple people!) and all they can say is

"Our... name... is alone..." before beating the shit outta an enemy or something.

I'm currently working on a fanfic in which the mc, an oc of mine, lost a leg in the past. I really hope I can do this that you're mentioning. I've done my best to research the topic (learning things I didn't know about it in general)

But even though he did lose his leg in a traumatic incident I dont think I see Vidar associating the loss of his family with the loss of limb?

Like if I use it for character development. He doesnt hide it due to shame, but out of fear of being vulnerable? That doesnt mean he likes discussing the circumstances of the loss tho lol

Like I see it as a caryy over from his backstory be fore he lost his leg. With him being used to having to carry the weight and seem invincible for the sake of his brother. Involved in an environment (gang) where showing vulnerability meant being taken advantage of.

He got pretty used to the mentality of "me, myself and I" (Pokemon non-withstanding)

So when he stops hiding, it is a sign that he is willing to be more open with people he cares about.

Idk I hope it's a good portrayal of it

you know what i need more of? stories about characters with disabilities where the disability isn’t the root of the angst or the center of trauma.

disabilities aren’t monsters to be fought. they’re real life circumstances that millions of people have, live with and thrive despite of every single day.

i’ve been in a wheelchair my entire life. is it hard sometimes? absolutely. did it take me a long time to accept it and be comfortable with it? you bet, but you know what would have made it easier? seeing stories and characters of people like me who weren’t defined by it. who weren’t made to feel like they were something that needed to be fixed or some kind of heavy burden on the people who they loved.

so when i say i want more stories of people with disabilities, it’s less for me (though i would enjoy them greatly) and more for the people out there still struggling to come to grips with whatever they happen to be dealing with.

they shouldn’t have to see stories where characters like them are viewed as a dull, lackluster, and endlessly miserable people whose loved ones feel trapped by the weight of their burden.

that’s the kind of approach that makes people with disabilities feel like they’re worthless and unlovable.

representation matters, i hear it all the time and believe in it wholeheartedly, this is no different.

let your disabled characters be characters. let them find joy and happiness and normalcy in their own way. let their disability be a character trait, not a demon forever leering over their shoulder.

people with disabilities are just that, people, and we want to live our lives and find the joy in it just like everyone else. the things that make us different aren’t a villain that needs to be slain, they’re simply a part of who we are. let’s embrace that <3

I've seen people in the fandom talk about the very cute sibling-like relationship she has with Titania. (Which it is very cute)

both of you sitting on the sofa, early in the morning, not even bothering to turn the tv on. the both of you having your morning drinks (his most likely a tea) no one else is awake yet so youre in complete silence other than the steady breathing of yourself and the masked man. id imagine he was there first, staring at his phone at like 3am when you walked out a joined him, both of you unable to sleep. there were mumbled words shared between you,

"can't sleep?"

"nope, you?"

"'m jus' not tired"

that would be the extent of it, maybe you make him another drink while your up, before you sit yourself down not that far from him, but a comfortable distance. sitting comfortably in silence until the sun came up, and people started to wake up. maybe it would become a normal thing for you two to do, but eventually it would end up with you two sitting right next to each other, sharing stories, bickering about nothing, or staring at the tv because you forced him to watch your favourite movie (id love to make him watch how to lose a guy in 10 days...) you'd start waiting for eachother, with both of your drinks after you had learnt what his go-to was and he learnt yours.

i want to be his bsf so bad icl, itd be so comforting with him i know itttt
