Small Shelly headcanon

I've seen people in the fandom talk about the very cute sibling-like relationship she has with Titania. (Which it is very cute)

I just have a slight headcanon addition to it.

Hardy takes a look at it, and is like "Fuck it I have a little sister too now."

So Shelly is pleasantly confused when suddenly she also has a Rock-Head (pun intended) big bro out of nowhere. Much to Titania's exasperation.

(Also I just realized how many puns are incorporated into Hardy as a character lol)

1 and 10 from the Pokemon Reborn ask game?

Sorry for answering so late, life's been continuing to be life and sapping my creative juices. Anyway, Ill answer this for Vidar since he's my most developed Reborn character and my MC OC.

What was their life like before going to Reborn? (were they a pokemon trainer already? Were they studying to be/working as something else?)

Vidar's life pre Reborn was complicated to say the least. He was born and raised in Unova in Castelia City to be exact. He was recruited into one of the street gangs in Castelia when he was barely a teen, due to circumstances beyond his control.

As a result of this I headcannon he was able to navigate Reborn pre-restoration much better than the MC does in the game canonically. (Being more street smart in the events where you get jumped or conned and what else)

He ended up leaving after certain events related to the gang he was part of resulted in his younger brother's death. After which his life kinda spiralled, him going to Reborn is meant to be a new start for him.

10. Which of the other characters do they like the most? Why?

Vidar develops several close relationships during the story of Reborn. And does at some point in the post game, in a relationship with Saphira and Ace. But if I had to say what his closest relationship is of the Reborn cast, it'd definitely be Shelly.

He develops very much a big sibling dynamic with shelly. (In honesty this guys ends up adopting so many younger siblings by accident. Think the Promotion to Dad trope, but instead big sibling energy). Which initially he panics because he was very traumatized by his brother's death so at first he tries to dissuade her. But honestly the biggest event in his character arc in Reborn is during the Glass factory gauntlet and his fight against Shelly.

Because the fact that she names one of her Pokemon after her touches him, but the fact that it is a Leavanny, a pokemon from his home region. And a pokemon he knows symbolizes nurturing and protectiveness. He is deeply touched to know she sees him in such a way. Especially when he confirms the fact afterwards.

Later on he has his proud big sibling moment with the Celebi quest. And I headcannon that after the postgame eventually Shelly becomes his co-champion. Kinda like Bennet and Laura.
