I got to try a new face sheet mask recently called Real Barrier Aqua soothing gel cream mask. I love the brand Real Barrier and have used a lot of their products before, including their aqua soothing gel cream. But I've never tried it in the form of a face mask, so I was excited to try this! It contains lots of great ingredients such as centella asiatica (gotu kola), and 5 types of hyaluronic acid. I didn't know there were multiple different types of hyaluronic acid before I did this review, so it was cool learning that! This face mask is great for the summer because it's very cooling and soothing, but I think it could be good for any time of the year too. First, I’d like to thank 0.8L for having this product and doing a Try on this product! I’ve been seeing this mask on the media A LOT and I was waiting to try it for when I go to Korea. But I saw that they were doing a Try and I took the chance right away! I loved their other products so I knew I would love this one too. First of all, I love the subtle smell of the cream mask. Because it’s gel cream base, it’s not sticky like some other masks. They say to leave it on for 10-15 minutes but I left it on for 30 minutes and it didn’t go super dry. I left my masks in the fridge (I always do) and it definitely was a lot colder and more cooling than other masks (claimed to reduce 5.9 degrees from your skin). It’s got a lot of cream inside that I used as moisturizer after the mask! Overall, it feels super nice and refreshing! Thank you @0.8l_usa and @realbarrier for letting me test this product. 🌟Claims: A soothing sheet mask soaked in gel cream with soothing ingredients for irritated skin. 🌟Notable Ingredients: Centella Asiatica, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, and Ceramide 3. 🌟Scent: Faint citrus scent 🌟Use: After cleansing and toner place mask on face. Remove after 10~20 minutes and gently pat essence to absorb. I love the Real barrier products and this is no exception. This is a great moisturizing mask for the summer. The gel is cooling, even nicer if you keep it in a fridge. So nice! This is a cotton based mask with a gel essence. The material of the mask is very thin and gauze like which works great with the thick essence. There's a ton of gel. This mask contains 30ml of essence which can be overwhelming. I scooped out the gel and put it all over my face before placing the mask over it. Doing this gave me about 40 minutes of wear time before I removed it and patted the leftover essence in. It left my skin feeling hydrated and cooled. It also helped with any redness I had due to irritation or blemishes. Honestly, I really liked the masks and I didn't think I would because of the thicker essence. If you have dry or irritated skin I recommend.
