Lady Gaga released the visuals for her seventh studio album, "Mayhem" which is set to be released worldwide on March 7th. For the album photo shoot, Frank Lebon created the portrait of an edgy, introspective and mature woman.

Concerning the costuming, Gaga and stylists Hardstyle opted for textures evocative of dark goth and horror imagery.

For the album's cover, Gaga is seen wearing an intricate blazer dress from Central Saint Martins alumni Mia Coco Chambers' BA 2024 graduate collection.

This jacket is a masterclass in wearable art, blending fashion with sculpture. The black structured silhouette serves as a commanding base, but the true spectacle lies in its ornate embellishments crafted entirely from molded rubber.

The design flourishes with baroque-inspired motifs, teeming with intricate scrolls, florals, and cascading teardrop beads by Simone Rocha. The rubber elements, gleaming with a dark, lacquered finish, resemble hand-carved ebony—luxurious and hauntingly beautiful. The back detailing is particularly opulent, where the patterns unfurl like a gothic garden (Eden?), bursting with movement and vitality. A perfect way to set the tone for the era we just set foot in.

Next, Gaga is looking hauntingly beautiful in a design custom-made by emerging designer ILONA in collaboration with costume designer Seth Pratt!

This dress is a stunning fusion of delicacy and edge. The soft white fabric, paired with intricate lace at the neckline, exudes ethereal romance, while the exaggerated shoulders and airy sleeves add dramatic flair.

The dyed leather garter belt, reminiscent of a harness, introduces a bold, industrial contrast, grounding the softness with structure.

Young designer Mario Marquina's matador-inspired jacket is a bold fusion of tradition and innovation, reinterpreting the rich heritage of Spanish bullfighting attire through an avant-garde, deconstructed lens. The piece was created during his COVID isolation, a time of deep introspection and unrestricted creativity. Using six meters of thick blue denim he had saved for years, Marqueda spent an entire week meticulously bleaching the fabric to achieve a raw, distressed white tone before embarking on the garment’s construction.

Drawing inspiration from authentic torero jackets, Marquina maintained key historical details while radically transforming the silhouette into an oversized, zero-waste design. With only a single sketch and two base patterns—the bodice and sleeves—he allowed the rest of the creative process to flow intuitively, making each detail a reflection of spontaneity and craftsmanship.

The jacket is part of his Spring/Summer 2022 "Freak Show" collection, a conceptual exploration of destruction and reinvention, where references to Spanish culture and vintage circus aesthetics are filtered through a darker, more subversive perspective. The collection thrives on contrasts—between construction and deconstruction, tradition and rebellion, and aggressive yet refined detailing.

The white constructed bodysuit with sheer panels, she wore underneath, is from Dilara Findikoglu's Fall/Winter 2024 "Femme Vortex" collection.

Her jewelry here is by DOSIS G6C. She wore a pair of the Chessboard white-gold and diamond earrings from their "Chess" collection...

Introducing to you: Brian De Carvalho and his Fall/Winter 2024 "Tormentum" collection which explores gothic deconstruction, using raw edges, burnt fabrics, and distressed finishes to symbolize the tension between restriction and freedom. With structured silhouettes softened by delicate details, the collection juxtaposes pain and beauty, reflecting themes of societal constraints and human resilience.

This coat is crafted from burnout velvet, featuring a semi-sheer texture that creates depth and contrast. Its ashen taupe color is subtly illuminated by a silver-toned pattern, adding a refined, vintage-inspired touch. The silhouette is structured yet fluid, with flared bell sleeves that enhance movement and a high-low hemline that adds dynamic shape. A black satin ribbon fastens the front, allowing for an open, effortless drape.

She paired it with black lace tights and these vintage Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 1993 Super Elevated Ghillie platform ankle boots in black.

Last summer I made this necklace with some stuff I had lying around, Unakit, Jade, Jasper & wood beads, silk, and some pieces from an old broken necklace. I love it and wore it a lot, so I decided to order some stuff to make more. Then promptly forgot about it. Being bedridden for the last week gave me time to play around a bit, since it's low effort and you can stop and start anytime.

This is a simple fire chain, the faceted Orange Garnet sparkles ever so slightly when the light hits it and looks very nice next to the Red Tiger's Eye.

Just a bit of Bloodstone and mate Onyx and the pendant can open, there is a piece of a lovely incense/cream perfume I got years and years ago. I don't know what it is but it smells amazing!

Sometimes you just want to be cute and girly and also wear a skull! Moonstone, Sunstone, some Red Rhodonite with metal spacers, and silk. The skull is reisin I think. I try to use natural bits as much as possible, but I also have a huge collection of bits and pieces I thrifted or was gifted and that is one of them. I have two more, maybe I should make matching earrings?

I always love how raw Crystal Quartz tips look in jewelry so I mounted some with Copper, faceted Orange Garnet, Jade, and silk again. I think this is my favorite.

My ex used to have this bracelet with wooden beads and small icons but it broke ages ago. Since then I had them rattling around my beads drawer. Put them to use with some silk, Moonstone, Aquamarine, and cross spacers that tempted me to also make a pair of earrings. I think @zarya-zaryanitsa might like that one.

Why Aquamarine was chosen as the March birthstone?

The origin of birthstone dated back a long time. Theories suggested that 12 stones originally symbolized the 12 tribes of Israelites, but those 12 stones are not the same as what we recognize today. Modern birthstones were revised by the National Association of Jewelers in 1912. The revision aims to adept modern aesthetic while maintaining original meaning. Traditionally Bloodstone was chosen to represent March, until the opaque color of Bloodstone falls out of favor to the modern taste for bright and glittery. The NAJ crowned Aquamarine as the replacement attempt to attract customers. The reason behind why Aquamarine was specifically selected to represent March is unclear. Most convincing theory suggest that the gemstone is the symbol for Pisces (Feb 19- Mar 20). Since the ancient believed aquamarine is the mineralized form of water, Pisces being a fish zodiac naturally have strong ties to the ocean. Aquamarine is a great stone for Aries (Mar 21- Apr 19) too, because the smoothing nature of the stone balance out the fiery energy of Mars, Aries’s ruling planet, thus achieving a state of perfect balance.

Rather or not the decision is based on astrology, the refreshing blue color of aquamarine matches spring vibe perfectly. To me Aquamarine reminds me of the refreshing water of early spring. A light blue with a slight hint of turquoise, this is the still chilly spring water from melted ice.

Assemblage necklace inspired by the ancients featuring symbols and artefacts from the Egyptian revival era, Roman archaeology and Greek classical culture. I have created the focal point of this necklace using a segment of hand painted papyrus art. Egyptian papyrus paintings depict the daily life, mythology, gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt and this piece features the Goddess Nephthys who is a protector souls in the myth of Osiris. Using the brass back of a salvaged pocket watch with interesting engraved pattern on the reverse, I have sealed the painting in resin with a tiny dispersal of mica and it is sanded and worn for a rustic look. It has been paired with a salvaged Egyptian revival scarab beetle made of faience and that carries an interesting marking on the base. The necklace is made from a selection of my own antique and ancient bead collection and features a raw clear quartz crystal bead, Roman glass beads (salvaged from excess glass from archaeological sites along the Silk Road), carved ox bone beads, carved Chinese hedaio seed beads, African trade beads (Kakamba Prosser Beads), raw Aquamarine, mother of pearl, Amazonite, vintage rainbow fired glass beads and a glass Evil eye bead from classical Greek culture. Made this for A&S at an event I ended up not going to, and wearing it mundanely ever since.

Roman necklace, made with brass wire, pearls, aventurine, raw emeralds, and the large glass looking beads are aquamarine.

First time trying to do a double strand, which was a little tricker than I anticipated. Strands were also dictated by how many aquamarine I had, was using stones from when had access to the Tucson Gem and Mineral show.

Oceanside tones are definitely the ones I'm most comfortable working with. I've been trying to put together some work with my ceramic beads in red glaze that I made recently and my brain truly wobbles throughout the process. Give me blues, turquoise, greens, jades and a splash of pink perhaps or yellow and I can just flow. Here's a new listing using the ceramic pottery beads I made with beautiful green, blue, brown and yellow glazes. I love the feather/heart and daisy design of this one from the vintage lucite pendant I found and created a mold of. I've also created a stack to go with the pendant above with a double terminated raw smoky quartz point, two raw aquamarine slices and an organic designed pottery bead with sweet circle imprinted sides.
